It still doesn't seem real 😌 I was surrounded by some of the incredible leaders of YWAM Muiz today, being prayed out and commissioned as I move back to Canada in March. Beautiful people shared the kindest words of life and encouragement as I prepare to leave this ministry and nation. It's been a wild 5+ years but so grateful for the depth of friendships that have come from this Jesus loving community. #ywammuiz #bethesdahouse #grateful #transition #angelic 😜 #instajournal #protea #lovethisnation #youshouldcomevisit ...me (you have til mid March 😉) https://www.instagram.com/p/BtVhiAOFnQcSIKkia5Mj-ftWG7QBErZtMxQ_oY0/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=l3nqnsolqmw

The YWAM Norway team, out in Beaufort West.
Spending some much needed love on the children and folks who live on a dump site. The best way to fight human trafficking is by educating families and these guys are doing such a great job a it. It has been an awesome partnership with People Against Child Trafficking (PACT).
Keep praying for them.

So many good words from multiple speakers during our At Home Week gathering of YWAM Muizenberg staff. Our fearless leader Edwin Fillies pulled it all together, sharing about Hope. . . . We are called to be People of Hope// We have a reason for Hope, that is why we do what we do! // All things are going to be restored by Him// Plant where it looks like a desert, within the pain of the nation //We have a reason for Hope 🙌🌲🌱🌵🙌 . . . #ywammuiz #belonging #calling #hope #urbanjungle #thejoyofplanting

YWAM DNA infusion conference just finished up here in Muizenberg. 2 weeks. 270 delegates. 35 or so nations represented. 100 languages spoken. (Classic missionary stats that get us excited 😆) ... There is something so powerful, inspiring, and faith-building about gathering with this tribe called YWAM. ... Loren and Darlene the founders of YWAM plus many other global and local leaders shared stories of God's faithful of our 60+ years as a missions movement. What an honor to host these legends 😊 [Hear God. Obey God. Don't Quit] ... One gem that I'm running with is "Joy is a relational reality" -David Hamilton #ywam #ywamdna #ywammuiz #abeautifulmess #lovemyfamily #fruitplattersforJesus #instajournal

A massive fire has swept through Masiphumelele township here in Cape Town, leaving 1000 corrugated houses destroyed and 4000 people homeless! We need the practical hands of the church and people to rise up and help. They need everything because they have lost everything they had. If you have a blanket, money, food, clothes (not ones worn down to the threads please) or household appliances - Living Hope ministry is collecting and handing out stuff to locals. Keep these families in prayer. Photo cred to @debykahophotography #ywammuiz #masifire #letscometogether #prayforus

Last week Friday I led the YWAM Perth Team of 16people to partner in Prayer with some friends who work with loving Muslims in Bo-Kaap and District 6. This is Didier from the Ivory Coast, he told us a little of his story from moving to South Africa as a Muslim and meeting Jesus who transformed his life. It was an incredible time and we ended it in Vista High School with a Traffick proof presentation...the teenagers loved it! #lovedoingwhatido #Godsfaithful #ywammuiz #perthteam

Please check out what we were learning about in week two of the Children at Risk School.
Keep us in prayer as we dive into some messy painful stuff this week. We will be touching on abuse.
I am loving the challenge and so overwhelmed by Gods gracious love for human kind even when we are so horrid. But in amongst that messy darkness like human trafficking there is Hope and His name is JESUS.
I’m not okay with injustice! I am not okay with human trafficking.

Love Revolution
The second week in our journey with Vista High School in Bo-Kaap, Cape Town, was incredible.
On a warm sunny-wintery Friday afternoon, the team of ‘life breathers’ headed into the school to many curious eyes and voices. This has been such a wild and fierce time with the Holy Spirit as we have had to lean right into what He has for these hungry students, simply because the hunger in their hearts outweighs our human ability to satisfy.
The joy in spending time with these students has awakened my own hearts desires to see the future generation touched and awakened by Gods Holy presence to once again regain HOPE and COURAGE to bring HEAVEN TO EARTH.
This Friday we played in the sunshine, reminding our hearts of how we are children of God and then split into groups to discuss ‘WHAT BEING SAVED IS?’ It was a tricky subject but God is faithful to us all in our searching and we were so excited to see questions answered and hearts opened to the work of the cross.
BY HIS BLOOD WE ARE SAVED.
Keep praying for us as we walk along side these fiery students, the ones who will shape this nation with Gods glorious HOPE and LOVE.

Commissioning the April DTS student off to their outreach for the next 2 months! One of the privileges in working with YWAM is witnessing these beautiful sons and daughters taking ownership of their identity in Christ and carryign the great commission with joy.

All dressed up and ready to celebrate the end of the LBSC! We went to a stunning restaurant called Moyo where we feasted on delicious dishes including some South African classic barbecued (braaied) meats and fish.
There's also some of the last weeks of "normal" life, doing outreaches and working hard:)
Now its time for Christmas in Muizenberg!

You know those moments or seasons that are so special you never want them to end? That's sorta how this past 6 weeks have been. The Leading By The Spirit Course (LBSC) was such an incredible group of people. For a short school, God went incredibly deep. In worship times, in ministry, in personal revelation, and inner healing. Didn't really matter the topic or what was happening. This group of students were so hungry for more of God, He couldn't help but turn up day after day! What an honour to be apart of it.
Our final couple weeks included Inner Healing/Deliverance and Strategic Prayer. And for some, you are probably getting a bit uneasy by just those titles alone. That's ok. From the testimonies of the students, these two weeks were the highlight out of the whole school. God brought freedom and healing to so much brokenness in many student's lives. Where people are walking in so much hurt from the past, God loves to show that He is true to His character. It's not a lie or only for super spiritual…healing, forgiveness, restoration, you name it…it's for everyone! God's real!
The final week, was learning about strategic prayer/ intercession. Hitting a target as God directs us to pray for a person, city or nation. We spent multiple days praying for Muizenberg in regards to finances and the economy. This little town was established by corrupt freemason business men. It was an intense time of prayer in regards to the slavery, witchcraft and corruption that established Muizenberg. (It's really hard to put into words; If you have questions about any of this, please message me and we can chat about it. )
We had a time of sharing testimonies of all that God had done during the school. I'll share a few of them once I get my hands on the recording.
April from Colorado (YWAM Perth) stuck around for an extra week who just happens to be a good friend:) We didn't get a much time to catch up due to the full schedule of the school. So this last week, we were tourists together through out Cape Town. Quite a sweet week of exploring and seeing more of the beauty of this city/ Western Cape. (Check out those pictures again:)
Thanx for all the prayers and support during this school. It was crazy busy but so worth it to see God do what He wanted to do in each of the students' lives! Keep checking this page for the testimonies of the school plus some more staff profiles of the wonderful people I work with.
Bless ya heaps,
nadine
