Hi really enjoying the buried alive fic! There's a little mistake in the scene where Kim gets rescued that I guess wouldn't have been caught by a spell checker: "the sound of digging grows closer, enough so that Kim can hear the dirt being shifted off the wood of his [cousin]"

Ichigo gets 'the talk'

It had been a long day at the clinic when Isshin finally came home. Flu season was a real bitch.

“I’m home!” He announced as he took off his shoes. Yuzu’s cute little face popping out from around the corner.

“Welcome home dad! Dinner will be ready soon!” 7:00 on the dot, like usual. “Karin is upstairs doing homework, and Ichigo is in the living room with [Y/N].”

Isshin nodded at the household report, and planned to head upstairs for a quick bath before dinner. Get all the sick people germs off before he had dinner with his family.

Before he went upstairs, he thought he would stop in and say hello to [Y/N]. To be polite. When he walked into the room, however, he was greeted by the sight of something unseemly. His son, canoodling with his girlfriend on the couch just….openly.

“Oh! Kurosaki-san!” [Y/N] said in alarm. Seeing him standing in the door way all of a sudden.

“Geez dad! Don’t you knock!”

“It’s an open door.” Isshin replied, with an almost unprecedented level of calm. “It’s good to see you [Y/N].”

“Y-Yes. Good to see you too sir.” She stammered. Blushing, and nervously fidgeting with her hair.

“Yuzu wanted me to let you know that dinner is almost ready.” She didn’t, obviously. It was the best excuse Isshin could come up with not to leave them alone again.

“Oh! Is it that late? I should probably be heading home.”

“You could stay.” Ichigo said. His hand lingering on hers as she got up from the couch. “Yuzu always makes too much.”

[Y/N] chuckled and told him, “no. I don’t want to impose. It was good to see you again Kurosaki-san. Ichigo, I’ll see you tomorrow.”

He nodded but looked disappointed at her decision to leave, and walked her to the door. When he came back down the hall, Ichigo caught Isshin staring at him and asked, “what?” To which he got no response and the older man headed upstairs.

The family had their dinner and spent a little bit of time together before they all went their separate ways. Karin, smart enough to do her homework early had free range of the TV now. Yuzu was finishing up the dishes and getting things prepped for the morning routine. And Ichigo was in his room getting his homework finished before bed.

His pen stopped when he heard a knock at his door and acknowledged it before the person came in. Isshin standing there. That same look on his face from earlier before he tossed something at him.

Startled, Ichigo instinctively went to catch it before he knew what it was. When he opened his hands to inspect it, his face went red in both embarrassment and anger. “Why are you throwing condoms at me?!”

“You and [Y/N] are getting pretty close.” Isshin replied. “You should be prepared.”

“We haven’t done anything like that yet you perv!” Ichigo shouted. Throwing the box on the ground.

“That’s why I’m giving them to you now. No point in handing out raincoats after it’s raining.” Ichigo growled at his dad’s typical, tactless way of explaining things. “Look, I don’t mind if you two are…close. But you need to be safe. Your life, it’s already complicated enough without teen pregnancy. I know [Y/N]’s got dreams she wants to do as well.”

“Are you saying kids destroy your dreams?”

“Not always.”

It wasn’t really a tender moment, but perhaps a moment between father & son. Ichigo huffed again and turned to look away. “You’re still a pervert for thinking about it.”

“Someone has to. I’m honestly surprised you haven’t. [Y/N]’s pretty cute, and you are, allegedly, a health red blooded man. Maybe we should get you a check up. Want to come down to the clinic tomorrow and we’ll get you a full work up?”

“Get out of my room!” A pillow flew after Isshin as his son shouted. The sound of a slamming door next.

“Hey, is Ichigo ok?” Karin asked. Coming upstairs with a glass of water.

“Oh, he’s fine. Just giving him a little talk about the birds & the bees.”

“You’re real weird dad.”

What's a trait in others that your character can't stand? Is that because it's something they don't like in general, or do you think it's more a reflection of how they seem themselves/the world?

Yuzu is bold, hot-headed, and always ready to throw herself into the thick of things. She seems like the type who would despise cowards, right? Well, not really. If someone doesn't think they can handle a fight and would prefer to run? Fine. Call that a tactical retreat.

It's indecisiveness that really steams her. Those who can never seem to arrive at a decision, ANY decision. Someone who can't commit to any course of action for any length of time. Perpetual fence-sitters. Whether you decide to fight or decide to run, that's up to you — just make the godsdamned choice.

Ask any merchant of Ul'dah, and they'll tell you how much they love selfless customers. Anyone so eager and willing to part with their gil — especially, supposedly, for a good cause? That must be a gift from the Traders themselves. On the surface, Esca would agree. As she has ambitions that go beyond increasing profits, easily-manipulated individuals are invaluable assets.

At her core, however, Esca cannot stand selflessness. Where's your pride? Your backbone? Your self-preservation? It's disgraceful, if not downright dangerous.

And besides, she's watched too many loved ones set themselves on fire to keep others warm. Seen too many who are willing to throw themselves onto the pyre in service to some greater purpose, caring not one whit about those they leave behind. If she cares for you (or at least has a plan for you), you're going to live whether you like it or not.

When it comes to Armaia's line of work, indifference is equal to malice.

He can be tolerant of —or even amused by — some traits that others might consider annoying or insufferable. There is one trait that he cannot stand, though, and that is pushiness. He will dig in his heels and avoid doing anything that's asked of him — even if it's in his best interest.

This is not because he delights in being contrarian. Mirou was raised in a rigid, structured environment with little allowance for deviation. Those that bent would be the ones to break. Ever since he broke away from that place, Mirou's independence will always be his first priority, sometimes to his own detriment.

Steven - he has the vibes that he knows how to Link summon so let's give him G Golem Invalid Dolmen as his ace

Wallace - lowkey I think he'd have a similar deck to Ryoga and Rio, tho I'm leaning more on Rio's deck bc it fits his vibes so his ace would be Ice Princess Zereort or Number 94: Crystalzero

Cynthia - I want her ace to be Draco Berserker of Tenyi idk it fits the vibes bc it's like Garchomp, really strong but one Ice Beam would probs kill it lmfao

Iris - okay I know she'd have a full Dragon deck I just know it and her ace would be Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon. And ofc she's gonna be the main charac here and what yugioh mc hasn't gone through their bastardization arc amirite so she's also gonna have Number 62: Galaxy Eyes Prime Photon Dragon

Diantha - look w the pendant she has I want her to use Pendulum summoning okay she would, I want her to have both Abyss Actor and Solfachord decks, I picture her using Solfachord when out in public bc I see her as someone who'd be a dueltainer, and her ace in her Solfachord deck is ofc DoSolfachord Coolia. In her Abyss Actor deck she'd have Abyss Actor Superstar as her ace, and I picture her using this deck out of the public eye or maybe under a persona bc ofc, no one would expect the elegant shining actress of Kalos to use fiend type monsters, but she loves her Abyss Actors y'know, they're theatre kids like her lmfaooo

Hau - lowkey I see him having the Yosenju deck,, or like,, the Destiny Hero deck, but also the Elemental Hero deck fits him too. But I'm kinda leaning more on the Destiny Heroes one bc that deck plays heavily around the graveyard, and smth smth connection to Decidueye being a Ghost type and all that. Plus it'd be interesting ofc since like the Destiny Heroes deck are said to be based on vigilantes/anti heroes, and it'd be dope to see that while Hau is like, this really carefree guy, he has this side that's like, if you fuck around you're really gonna find out y'know what I'm saying hahah but yeah his ace is Destiny HERO Plasma and like, as a treat he'd also get Destiny HERO Dominance

Leon - okay this one I legit see him having the Odd Eyes deck, he'd also Pendulum summon, I want him and Dia to be dueltainers but Leon's really more on the entertaining side while Dia's there fucking everyone up w her Abyss Actors. It'd be dope too if he snaps he'd summon out Odd Eyes Raging Dragon, but yeah, his ace would be Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon. Tho, normal Odd Eyes and then Odd Eyes Advance also low-key fits his vibes

Geeta - okay Geeta I'd wanna give her the Six Samurai deck, mainly bc of Kingambit,,, and yeah hahah it'd be dope ig bc apparently there wasn't much?? Yuzu does all she can to brace herself as another gust of cold winter wind hits her form, her multiple layers doing little to ease the impact of the season's signature feature. She doesn't exactly do the cold all that well, probably being the most vulnerable to it compared to the other three girls who were also split from Ray Akaba. That could be due to her inherited bond and love of flowers, with her being the embodiment of En Flowers in all, or...it could just be that she's from a city that typically doesn't get cold this time of year and she's not used to it.

There was also the fact that the last time she was in temperatures like this, she was being hunted down by Duel Academia soldiers and was in a tense situation... Just thinking about it sends a shiver down her spine, perhaps being the central reason why the cold weather has since become uncomfortable for her. If she had it her way, she'd probably choose to remain inside the entire season. Someone like her knows that idea is not realistic, especially when she had people like the noble around who want to enjoy the winter season and all its glory.

So, she toughens it out for those around her for as long as she can, not wanting to ruin anyone's fun. Though, she isn't a pushover and is more than capable of expressing her limits. Yuzu could hardly keep them to herself, if her apparent body language wasn't enough to give it away on its own.

"D-Do you mind if we head back i-inside, M-Miss Sharon? I might catch a c-c-old out here if I stay out here another m-minute!"

see, that's a very tricky question to answer...

funniest? i genuinely couldn't tell you.

weirdest, though... there might be a few options? i guess this one doesn't count as haha-weird so much as "wow this dude fucking sucked" but during a study stream of mine back in like.... late november, early december some asshole came into my chat and tried to get me to say a slur in another language (since one of my special interests is language learning)

i struggle to think of anything else though? most of my streams are either pretty low-key or uneventful.

"it's not hard, but not easy, either. i don't have any friends at school. i'm too busy," she says, though it sounds rehearsed, like an automatic response. having no one is better than having bullies, in her opinion.

"there's tiao, and mirio, and demise, and now i have a puppy, too," she sounds a little happier this time, at least. "i like all of them a lot better than anyone at school."
