Sara

(Sara) "So...we're finally heading home." . (Byleth) "Yeah..."

- ...

(Byleth) "You look after Class VII, alright? They're pretty much our kids after all-"

(Sara) "Ugh, do NOT say that when they could hear us. They'll never let me hear the end of it."

- Byleth began laughing, and eventually Sara broke and laughed with him.

(Byleth) "...I'll miss you, Sara."

(Sara) "Come on, don't say goodbye. If we were called here once, goddess knows we'll find someway back. It's more like...I'm just not here right now."

(Byleth) "That's one way to look at it."

- Sara gently took Byleth's hand and moved to caress his face.

(Sara) "Besides...I'm not one for these kinda cheesey goodbyes."

- Even though Sara was smiling, tears were running down her face.

(Sharon) "Sara? The portal is ready."

- The two kissed one last time, and when Sara let go, she waved at him.

(Sara) "Don't burn down the place while we're gone."

(Byleth) "Hah, I'll try not to. And Sharon, you make sure Sara doesn't get into too much trouble!"

(Sharon) "Understood, Master Byleth!"

(Sara) “Hey what the hell?!”

- The two began laughing again and Byleth had a sad smile on his facee when he waved back.

(Byleth) "...Stay safe, Sara."

(Sara) "I'll see you later, Byleth."

Megumi

- Yuki excitedly ran over to Teddie and the two loudly discussed how excited they were to head to Inaba.

- Yuuri, Miki, and Kurumi joined the two as the rest of the Investigation Team followed.

- Megumi stayed behind everyone as she wiped her eyes.

(Byleth) "Megumi?"

(Megumi) "S-Sorry...I thought I was done crying by now."

- Byleth hugged Megumi and she started crying harder into his chest.

(Byleth) "It's safer to be with them than me...You have people who need you too."

- Megumi eventually opened her eyes to stop crying and saw the students looking at her with a smile.

(Yuki) "It's okay to be sad, Megu-nee. Sure we may not see Byleth-sensei for a while, but we're going to see him again! When everything is calm and peaceful!"

(Kurumi) "Then you and your boyfriend can hang out all you want!"

(Miki) "Kurumi-senpai have a bit more tact!"

(Yuuri) "She is right though, Megu-nee. We'll see each other again! All of our classmates!"

- Megumi smiled, and all the students went to hug Byleth.

(Yuki) "Thank you for helping Megu-nee, Byleth!"

(Miki) "Thank you very much, sensei!"

(Kurumi) "Thanks!"

(Yuuri) "You're family just as much as Megu-nee!"

- Byleth smiled and returned the hug, with Megumi joining in.

(Megumi) "We shouldn't keep the others waiting anymore. Let's head to our new home."

- Everyone waved goodbye and started to leave for the portal.

- Megumi turned around and kissed Byleth before smiling.

(Megumi) "Goodbye, Byleth. I love you."

(Byleth) "I love you too, Megumi."
