I am working on the art for a VN that my girlfriend is writing and programming for the yuri games jam. The really neat thing though is that I'm drawing in a predecessor to MS paint from the 80s.

There's some features that exist in this that are incredibly unique and I honestly love playing around with textures in PC Paintbrush.

Blunt Soul Trauma - A Visual Novel and Angel Girlfriend DIY Tutorial

It's not the first time I've woken up tied up. Nor in an unfamiliar location. Both at once, though... that's new.

Blunt Soul Trauma is a kinetic visual novel about home-made angels, friendly kidnappings and being roped into doing a stranger a favor that leaves you  feeling shaken afterward.

Ferida is making her way back home after some late-night grocery shopping when she's kidnapped, drugged and tied up to a wall by an angel who calls herself Haydee, and who expresses that she has no desire to harm or inconvenience Ferida in any way. She simply wants a favor from her, small and insignificant.

She want's Ferida's assistance in making a new angel out of her beloved girlfriend.

Hello there ! Today’s post is a bit special because it’s a game recruitment post.

For those who are unaware, last october I published a demo for my sapphic horror / romance game Apple bag. Since then i've been working on other projects but i now returning to wok on it to offer an expended demo release for this october ( Possibly for this year Yuri game jam ).

Gui artist ( open )

-Work would consist of making entire new gui assets to make the game more polished visually.

Renpy programmers ( open )

-Work would consist of coding the gui assets as I am not knowledgeable enough to code it myself + Help reducing my coding workload by coding the dialogues and make the development quicker.

Sensitivity readers

More precisely :

-Someone who suffered or is knowledgeable about anorexia nervosa. ( open )

-Wasian person familiar with the struggle of double cultural identity, preferably Taiwanese / European. (Open )

-Work would consist of reading the script and making commentaries to ensure the content depicted in the story is correct and handled with care.

Additional position : Guest artist ( open )

-This isn't a work that is necessary for the game development but for game promotions. It would consist of having artist working on promotional art (chibis, simple ilus, doodles ) that could be used for promotional post ( ex VA announcement, promotional post, date announcement ). This position is more for fun and interest for artist who wants to do small amount of artworks.

The time frame this project will be worked on is august / october and most of the work regarding programming and commenting won't be requested before at least mid september. Additionally this project is unpaid because the game will be free upon release and I'm a broke college student working on this game by passion.

Drawing in PC paintbrush is cool, I'm having a lot of fun with dithering and learning how to use the program. Some of the tools make me think about modern art programs and the desire to emulate physical media, when PC paintbrush in all its 1984 neon glory fully embraces aspects of the media that are difficult in physical media. (THERE'S EVEN MOVE, GROW, AND FLIP CAPABILITIES) (i do not know how to make those work.)

Don't Die Digging - A Yuri/Shonen Visual Novel

How much of myself am I willing to give up in the name of love? was a question Enid found herself asking more and more as the confrontation between her and her ex grew nearer. A useless question to ask at this point, but one she couldn't seem to get out of her head regardless.

Don't Die Digging is a visual novel about the pains of personhood, about coming back from the dead wrong, and about how painful love can be when you give too much of yourself in its name before being ready for it.
