Happy Lesbian Visibility Week !!! In honour of this week, I want to do something to celebrate it by posting more fandom content here on tumblr...!

I'm thinking of doing a three paragraph fic or maybe a moodboard, which one would be better? I'm thinking of doing it for Assault Lily, World Dai Star, Avatar: The Last Airbender and maybe for Miraculous Ladybug... I could also try to recommend some yuri manga, even if I don't think I know too much.

I hope this year we get more lesbian art we can enjoy, be it from fans — like us — or from mainstream midia!!

I am almost done my first sketchbook... pages away! (Ahh, the excitement builds). Maybe when I'm done my second I will feel more confident in doing digital copies so it doesn't look as dingy when I take a photo!

Also, I know I'm behind, but I finally watched Yuri! On Ice in the past week and understand the hype. I watched it all within two days. Viktor and Yuri are adorable. Viktor is absolutely ridiculous in the best type of way. And I just love that there is a canon gay relationship that is actually all around fantastic.

"Never take your eyes off me" - Yuri (Yuri on Ice)

This piece was done for a dear friend and fellow anime freak as a birthday gift and was printed in an 8 x 10 print in a clear acrylic framed block.

As a general rule, I try not to create art from fandoms that I'm not a part of, or at least aware of the details of the characters of the show/game. So, I must admit that I've not watched Yuri on Ice, however, the recipient of this gift informed me that the quote is meaningful because it represents Yuri's character growth. At the beginning of the story, as he is getting back into ice skating, he would ask people to look away and not focus on him too much. However, in his growth in skill and confidence, he comes to demand your attention.

This is also one of the final pieces I did in the ArtFlow app. Which is great, but I was starting to max out the capabilities of the software with my layering.
