DUDE
Ok ok ok so i have so much to say about the parallels (both obvious and not so obvious) and the symbolism and how i want a third arc more than ever and just pretty much everything but i'm basically on the verge of sobbing into my computer screen so all i have to say is that that cake was 100% laced with LSD

I kept reading🧍‍♀️
I actually can’t do this anymore. "What makes you think I'm not just using you like the rest of them?” USE ME. NO SERIOUSLY. USE ME. BY ALL MEANS. FEEL WELCOME TO. LITERALLY GO AHEAD. NO ONE IS STOPPING YOU.
“He drew out the last word, voice coarse and low and thick with that damned accent, and suddenly you had never needed anything quite as badly as you needed to become something that Felix considered "his".” I PHYSICALLY CANNOT GO ON HELP. YES YES YES YES. THANK YOU. THIS SENTENCE IS JUST- YUP YUP YUP.
“No. You needed him to make you his, in every possible way.” I-
I need to stop typing bc very soon I will say something that I shouldn’t when I’m not on anon.
“If you couldn't keep yourself in control tonight then you would at least be the one to decide how you lost it.” SHE’S SUCH A BOSS I LOVE HER MORE THAN I’VE EVER LOVED ANY Y/N
“You’re obviously torn. Let me help you.” And before he had the chance to respond, it was you who moved to close the space between your lips. For the first time, it was you.”
NOBODY IS DOING IT LIKE HER SHE’S SO GJDMBVMDMVNVMDJD I LOVE HER BUDDY I FVCKING LOVE HER
“You grabbed his wrists, pulling them down and shifting your bodies so that you were now the one pinning him against the wall.” AS YOU SHOULD. AS. YOU. FVCKING. SHOULD. At this point I’m in this for her not even Felix pls.
“You broke the kiss to remind him of their impending arrival, but he only took your momentary distraction as an opportunity to take hold of your waist and push you back against the wall, reclaiming control.”
My knees are out of service rn. My brain too.
“Felix was well aware that they could be here at any second. He just didn’t care... “Say it again. My name princess.” He growled against your lips,” THIS WHOLE PART!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM FIGHTING BACK SCREAMS. PLEASE PLEASE I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF ANYMORE. THE WAY HE ASKED HER TO SAY HIS NAME THE WAY HE- BYEEEEEE. GOODBYE WHAT COMES AFTER THIS IS TOO MUCH HELP I NEED A BREAK BECAUSE MY *[retracted in order to maintain a tranquil ambience]*
I want to discuss every sentence in that part I'm almost commiting plagiar!$m with the amount of scenes I'm quoting in these asks💀
“Panting heavily, Felix pressed his sweaty forehead against your own. It had taken every single fiber in his being to keep from touching you again, when all he could think about was bending you over and fucking you right there against the wall until you cried pretty tears of pleasure from your pretty eyes.” DO IT!!! BE MY GUEST. PLEASEEEEEEE. I LITERALLY DON’T CARE ANYMPRE.
Ok wait let me come back down to earth we have a plot to go through with. Can my brain pls understand that. We have a WAR to deal with.
...aand we're back.🤭 i'm so glad you kept reading (and lived to tell the tale lmao) lets get right to it..
okay so.. this whole scene before the others arrive may have been (it most definitely was) the first scene i wrote before i even decided to make this story into an actual fic so i am LIVING for your the fact that you chose this specific scene to break down and make an entire separate ask for because it holds such a special place in my heart (as do you)
"I need to stop typing bc very soon I will say something that I shouldn’t when I’m not on anon."
you know where to find me..hop on over to my dms dont be shy
"SHE’S SUCH A BOSS I LOVE HER MORE THAN I’VE EVER LOVED ANY Y/N" "NOBODY IS DOING IT LIKE HER SHE’S SO GJDMBVMDMVNVMDJD I LOVE HER BUDDY I FVCKING LOVE HER" "At this point I’m in this for her not even Felix pls."
AGAIN YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THIS MEANS TO ME. since this is my first time writing anything like this literally ever i had no idea how scary it is to create an original main character but it is actually TERRIFYing to put yourself out there like that (infinite respect to all of the content creators on this website) and the fact that you have said this more than once i need a minute-😭💕💕
"THIS WHOLE PART!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM FIGHTING BACK SCREAMS. PLEASE PLEASE I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF ANYMORE. THE WAY HE ASKED HER TO SAY HIS NAME THE WAY HE- BYEEEEEE. GOODBYE WHAT COMES AFTER THIS IS TOO MUCH HELP I NEED A BREAK BECAUSE MY *[retracted in order to maintain a tranquil ambience]*"
LET IT ALL OUT BESTIE. I AM HERE FOR IT ALL. FORGET TRANQUILITY BC OUR MAIN CHARACTERS CLEARLY HAVE AT THIS POINT-
"Ok wait let me come back down to earth we have a plot to go through with. Can my brain pls understand that. We have a WAR to deal with."
a war that can wait one more night…🫢

The Fight
Requested
Anonymous said: Could you do an imagine where Sam and the reader have like a really big fight or something like that but it ends in pure fluff?? Please! I just need more Sam content! ❤ thnx
Tumblr media
“I can’t even look at you right now!” You shout across the room. Sam’s face is pink with anger, he’s shaking, with a small growl starting in his chest.
“Sam just go away!” You run up the stairs, slamming the bedroom door behind you and fling yourself on the bed, tears streaming down your face, your breathing heavy as you sob into the pillows.
You hear a door slam downstairs, then the definite sound of Sam’s wolf growling as he runs towards the tree line. You would recognise that sound anywhere, although normally it would be waiting for him to come home after patrol. This time, you weren’t sure if he would come home, but right now you didn’t care.
Wrapping yourself in a blanket, you curl up on your side of the bed, fully dressed. Suddenly feeling tired from the fight, eventually you allow the exhaustion to kick in as you fall straight asleep.
Tumblr media
A week later
“You’ve got to come see him Y/N he looks a mess” Paul pleads through the door.
“Nope! He can come to me, I’m not apologising.” You respond, looking at yourself in the mirror, bags under your eyes, skin looking flat and lifeless. Being away from Sam was definitely having an effect, but you weren’t going to admit to Paul that you couldn’t sleep without Sam, that you were struggling to eat, or have any kind of fun.
“That’s the problem Y/N. He just won’t get up. He’s not sleeping, not eating. I don’t even know how long it’s been since he cracked a smile. Pleaaaase!” Paul pleads again.
“I’m not coming Paul. I need time.” You say softly.
“Ok. Just let us know if we can do anything to help you two. We need our pack leader back. Urgently.”
You hear his steps away from the house and the door slam to his truck. You sigh deeply, trudging back upstairs to throw yourself on the bed again.
Tumblr media
The following week
After being sent home Monday morning for exploding at a customer, you realised you needed to get your life back on track. You needed to shower. Properly. You needed to eat. Properly. But to do all of that you needed one thing.
You needed Sam.
Grabbing your phone, you type a message out to Paul.
- Is Sam at yours?
- Yup. On the sofa. Not moved all day.
- I'll be over in 30 minutes.
- YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
You smile at Paul's reaction. As much as you wanted Sam to be the one to come to you, the imprint link had left you both sad and exhausted, and you couldn't continue the fight any longer. You needed him. You knew from the fights you'd seen from Kim and Jared that the pack felt everything far deeper than their imprints. You didn't want to punish him any longer.
Jumping in the shower you start mentally preparing your speech for when you see Sam. I don't want to feel second best to the pack. I understand what the pack means to you but I need to feel important too.
You grab whatever bits of make up you can find and make your best attempt to cover up the bags which have formed under your eyes. Pulling on a pair of jeans and a loose fitting top, you brush through your hair and take a final look in the mirror. It'll do.
Tumblr media
Before you even get to knock on Paul's front door, it swings open to show Paul and Jared, both looking tired but excited to see you.
"Y/N!" Jared shouts, running towards you to give you a hug. He pulls back and keeps a hand on either arm, looking you in the eyes. "Please don't feel pressured if this isn't what you want yet. I know Paul kept ringing...and Sam is in a pretty bad way. But we want you to be happy too."
You smile sadly at him. "I need this too Jared, don't worry. I'm doing this for me."
Paul gives you a thumbs up from behind Jared before coming to hug you himself. He leaves an army draped around your shoulders as you both walk up the steps.
"He's still on the sofa...we will leave you two alone. We're going out on a quick patrol!" With that he drops a quick kiss on your cheek and jogs towards the treeline with Jared in tow.
You look up at the house and take a deep breath, pulling open the door and stepping inside the house.
Tumblr media
What hits you first is the smell. Sam’s smell. A smell that’s been a comfort to you every night since you met. A smell that you have desperately missed, but has immediately put your mind at ease now it has filled your senses again.
Walking through the house towards the back room, you walk hesitantly towards the sound of the TV. As you reach the doorway, he stands up from the sofa and turns to look at you. His face is etched with sadness, tears pricking at the corners of his eyes, dark bags underneath them from lack of sleep, hair messy and dishevelled. “Y/N...” he whispers, his eyes wide with shock, hands desperate to reach out to you but hesitant in case it makes you leave.
You smile at the sound of his voice. “I’ve missed you baby.”
The corners of his mouth twitch at the word baby, and he rushes towards you, wrapping you up in his arms. He breathes in the scent of your hair, his arms wandering your body before they make their way to your face, delicately cupping your cheeks before hesitating again. He looks deeply into your eyes, searching for approval, searching for confirmation that things will be ok.
You step back. His hopeful expression looks deflated, then confused as you take his hand and lead him back to the sofa. “We need to talk first.” He nods in understanding.
You both sit down, side by side, and you take his hand back in yours, stroking it softly with your fingers. He looks up at you with sad eyes, desperately trying to read your expression.
“I know how important the pack is, not just to you but to the reservation. I understand the importance. But I need to feel important to you too. My life is overwhelmed with the pack, with this life, and I just feel like I’m a passenger just going along for the ride. I feel like I have no control. Like I have no purpose. I’m just “Sam’s imprint”...is that all I am?” Feeling confident in your rehearsed lines you look at Sam, who’s eyebrows are burrowed as he stares at the ground.
“You know you are so much more than that Y/N.” He says quietly.
“I don’t though Sam. You never tell me. You never talk about things. I only know because of the imprint bond.” You move away from him slightly, letting go of his hands, frustration evident in your voice.
“You...” he starts, then looks at the ground again
“I don’t know how much more I can take if you can’t tell me what you are feeling Sam. Please.” You beg, as you reach out to him again.
He takes your hand in his and turns to face you, looking down into your eyes. His expression is warm, immediately comforting, and you have to force yourself to not be sucked back in to his loving embrace.
“You. Are the love of my life. No one else’s love will ever come close to what I feel for you. But that scares me. It scares me because I never feel good enough, I never feel like I can live up to be the man that you deserve. The only thing I can do is to keep you safe. And to keep you safe I need to make my pack strong, I need them to be impossible to defeat. I’m so so sorry that in my eagerness to make the pack strong that you felt unimportant. But I’m making the pack what it is because you are so important, the most important person in the whole world. I love you Y/N and I promise to never let you feel second best ever again...if you will have me that is.” He takes a deep breath, his confidence wavering because you haven’t spoken.
“Y/N...?”
A tear slips from the corner of your eye before you reach over and wrap your arms around his neck, taking him by surprise so he falls backwards onto the couch.
You don’t know how long you stay like that, with his arms wrapped around you, lips pressed to the top of your head as your face is buried into his neck, taking in the comfort of his scent.
It’s only when you hear an awkward cough that you realise anyone is there.
“Take it the two of you have made up?” Paul jokes, as Sam growls at him for interrupting.
You smile up at him, placing your hand on his chest to calm him.
“It’s ok, I’m not going anywhere.” He returns your smile before pressing a kiss to your lips whilst Paul and Jared make gagging noises in the background.
“Ugh it’s like mum and dad kissing!” Jared complains.
“No one asked you to stand there. Go back on patrol, the two of you are pulling a double for interrupting.” Sam orders, and they quickly comply, complaining as they leave the room.
He turns his attention back to you, stroking your cheek with his thumb whilst looking deeply into your eyes.
“I love you Sam.”
“I love you too Y/N.”

The Arcana Boyfriend Scenarios: The Date
Asra
Today is the day I take (Y/N) out on our first date!  To be honest I'm really nervous because what if she doesn't like what I've picked out for our date..  Not a lot of people enjoy this type of thing but I love it so i'm hoping she will to, all I gotta do is message her and let her know i'm on my way, I swiftly took my phone out almost dropping it in the kitchen sink which was filled with water since I just finished doing the dishes but is to lazy to drain it, but luckily I managed to catch my phone before It fell into the water.  I really need a waterproof phone ugh well no more moping about almost losing my phone time to message (Y/N)!
Asra: Hey!  I'm heading over!  I picked out the perfect place for our date and I'm hoping you'll like it too!
(Y/N): great!  I just finished getting ready and only had to take 5 criticisms from my older brother about my outfit till I finally kicked him out of the house
Asra: lol well no matter what you wear you'll always look great!
(Y/N): (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄ Ty..  and I-i'm sure whatever you wear you'll look great in it as well even tho half the time your clothes turn out a bit tacky and weird
Asra: tacky and weird??  What do you mean?
(Y/N): nothing!  See you soon!
After talking with (Y/N) I wondered what she meant by tacky and weird, I hope it was a good thing, I grabbed my jacket and headed out.
I hopped into my car, entering her address into my GPS before heading off.
Almost an hour had passed before I finally arrived at her house. I had no idea she lived this far, especially in the richest part of town. As I pulled up into her driveway my jaw nearly dropped to the floor, her home is a freaking mansion!  It's almost like a palace now. I really do feel nervous about this date..  As I stepped out of the car two large dogs came running out the door towards my car barking at me, preventing me from leaving my car everytime I tried, just as I was about to try again I heard someone call out their names causing them to run towards the direction of the voice which was towards the door, when I looked up I saw that the voice was none other then (Y/N) I was relieved that it was her I quickly got out of the car and headed up towards her before getting growled at and nearly tackled by the larger dog, till (Y/N) grabbed him by the collar pulling him back scolding him.
"Melchior!  Bad!  We do not attack my date."  The larger dog known as Melchior whimpered before hiding behind her.  "I'm sorry about that Asra..  They were trained by my brother to attack anyone who comes near his baby sister.."  She let out a hearty sigh before she led the two dogs inside.  When she exited the house once more I got a better look at her outfit, it was a black shirt with a golden heart in the middle along with what looked like skinny jeans, I couldn't help but blush turning my head away and before clearing my throat.
"A-are you ready to go?"  I turned my head once more to look her in the eyes to see her smile.
"Yup!  Ready as I'll ever be!  Speaking of which, where are we going for our date?"  I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as I led her back towards my car.
"I-it's a surprise..  But I really do hope you like you..  Especially since you have so much and I have so little.."  I looked at the floor as I fiddled with my thumbs till I felt her hand rest upon my shoulder causing me to look up at her seeing a worried look in her eyes.
"Asra..  All this stuff..  I don't really care about it all..  It's all my brothers..  The thing is he's been trying to get me to sell the cafe for years now since he's rich and doesn't really need me to be working..  But I told him just because he's rich and I live with him doesn't mean I have to quit what I love doing so Asra ignores the fact that I live in the house or the fact that my brother has money ok..  I just want to spend the day with you and have a wonderful date no matter what we're doing I'm going to love it."  I couldn't help but shed a few tears at what she had said but I didn't want to worry her any more so I quickly wiped the tears away starting up the car as we headed off towards our destination.  Luckily she lived a bit closer to where our date was located.  As I parked the car I was the first to get as I wanted to be a gentleman and open her car door for her which I did.
"Thank you Asra."  She gave me the sweetest smile I could just die for, I watched as she looked around still a bit confused on where we were.  "asra where are we?  Will you tell me now???"  I held out my hand for her which she gratefully took.
"Well  I'll tell you if you answer me this, What are your thoughts on Slam Poetry??"  She tilted her head before giving me an answer.
"Slam poetry?  Well I love it of course!  Sometimes when my brother is asleep I would watch videos of slam poetry and it's always amazing!"  Her answer brought a huge smile to my face.
"I'm glad!  Because today for our date I've taken you to Slam Poetry night!  I usually come here by myself but I thought maybe you'd like it to.."  I held the door open for her as she walked inside, I soon followed close behind and showed her to my usual table that I sit at while here.
"Why have you never told me that you went to slam poetry night?  I would've joined you!"  I couldn't help but blush.
"W-well I didn't think you liked it..  So I sorta kept it to myself till well today..  But now that I know you like it I'll invite you from now on!  Before the people start i'm going to get us some drinks want any thing in particular?"  I looked over at her as she spoke out.
"I would like (F/D) please!  And if you decide to get any food then surprise me!"  I chuckled before nodding, heading off to get the drinks and possibly some food.  Once I returned I saw the performance was just about to start so I quickly sat back down handing her her drink along with some food I got for us to share.
"I made it just in time!  I see they are about to start."  I took a bite from the fries I managed to get.
"Yeah!  I'm glad you didn't miss anything, it would've been boring with you."  I chuckled as I fed her a fry  "But I do have a question...  How are you liking this date so far?  I know it just technically started but..  I'm just curious.."  I started playing with the fries a bit which caused her to let out a small laugh which caused me to blush a bit more, I could listen to her laugh all day.
"Well If I have to be honest I'll give this date a 100 out of 10. I'm loving it so far Asra!  Being here with you is everything I can ask for and more."  I watched as she laid her hand upon mine as she sneakily took a fry from my side of the fry batch before taking a bite from it I gasp at the sight of this which just caused her to do it again but in the end I couldn't help but laugh especially when she put a fry in my mouth as I was laughing, it just caused me to laugh a bit more nearly choking on the fry but luckily I didn't, after a while I had realized the slam poetry performances had already began.
A few hours had passed of all different kinds of poems being said, there were; sad poems which made me cry a little. I even saw (Y/N) shed a tear or two, there were angry ones full of rage and there were even happy ones full of love and hope.  Those were my favorite ones. I wonder if (Y/N) has ever written poetry before?  If she loves it so much maybe she would love writing it, I sure do.  As the night ended I drove her home since walking in the dead of night is very dangerous. I don't like driving at night alot but I gotta sometimes, especially when I'm working a late shift at the cafe.  As I pulled up to the driveway I saw the same two dogs from before waiting outside for her, I let out a soft gulp before exiting the car and towards (Y/N)'s side to help her out.  "I see your dogs are waiting for your return."  I watched as she looked up to the front door where the dogs were located.
"Yeah, my brother must've returned home and let them out, they must've been waiting there all day for my return, i'm hoping my brother took them on their walks because i'm not walking out in the dark."  I watched as she shivered before looking back at me smiling.  "Never mind that I had fun!  I'm hoping there'll be a second date later in the future."  She leaned in giving me a small peck on the cheek before she headed off inside, I couldn't help but put a hand on the spot she kissed, my cheeks growing red, someday i'll be the one kissing her but I won't be on the cheek, I took one last glance at her place before heading to my own, hoping faust isn't fussy that I had left her for so long luckily I was able to convince Muriel to watch her while I was out, first date was a success, now let's hope there's a chance for a second.  (I don't know much about slam poetry so sorry if I didn't put up any poetry I do write poetry at times and maybe if you like someday i'll share my favorite poem I wrote when I was in highschool but all in all I can totally see Asra going to slam poetry nights and possibly participating with poems about faust lol)
Julian
Today is the day that I take (Y/N) out on a date!  I'm extremely nervous that I nearly put a hole in the carpet of mazlinkas home, I ended up getting wacked in the head by a wooden spoon because I shouldn't be burning a hole in her nice rug and that I shouldn't be so nervous, I know they were the one to ask me out but they were also the one to leave me in charge of the date location and that's what's making me nervous, what if they don't like what i've picked out..  I know maz and Pasha assured me that they're gonna love it but I can't help but second guess myself on the choice i've made..  I continued to pace back and forth till Mazlinka had enough of me and finally kicked me out of the house since It was getting close to the time where i'm supposed to pick (Y/N) up, I sighed quickly snatching my phone off the counter before Mazlinka fully kicked me out.  I guess I can finally message them to let them know I'm on my way..  Luckily she gave me her address and she seems to live a bit far from here but that's not going to stop me from getting there on time!  I quickly hopped in my car as I quickly sent them a text.
Julian: Heading over now!  I'll make sure to be there on time!
(Y/N): Don't worry if your a little late my brothers place is a tad hard to find
Julian: No matter what I shall be there!  I hope you are ready..  because I am..
(Y/N): Are you sure you're ready?  Your messages sound like you're a bit nervous, well Julian no need to be nervous I'm going to love the location of our date no matter what..  So take deep breaths and calm down because I don't want you getting into a car accident so just focus on getting here in one piece please...  I would love for my date to be in tack and not all over main street!
Julian: You wound me ( つ︣﹏╰)
(Y/N): Julian..  I'll be waiting to see you when you get here.
Julian: See you soon!
As I struggled to start my car I threw my phone in the backseat so i'm not distracted by it. I was about to give up on my car and ask Pasha if I could borrow hers but as soon as I said that and turned the key one last time It finally started!  Yes!  (Y/N) here I come!
I followed my GPS all the way to her place and at first I thought I was lost and that my gps was broken but as I kept going I shortly reached a homey looking cabin, is this where she lives?  In the middle of nowhere?  Well she did say she lived with her brother..  I stepped out of my car as I slowly approached. I really do hope this isn't some cereal killers home..  Then again I see some chickens in the yard..  Unless they're the cereal killers dinner..  I shook my head before approaching the door but before I could even knock the door swung wide open revealing a very tall man he was about 6'10, he's kinda intimidating. I was about to speak but a small voice coming from behind the large man beat me to it.
"Muriel!  I said I was going to get the door!  I didn't want you to give my date a heart attack.."  I looked up at the large man once more who had just sighed before shrinking down a bit looking at the grown sheepishly.
"............Sorry....."  I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle which caused the large man to turn a deeper shade of red.
I watched as the person that was behind the large man which I know is named Muriel squeezed past him to get outside, I then realized that the person was none other than (Y/N), I couldn't help but smile before I saw the large man glare at me before he spoke out.  "Bring her home safe..  It's dangerous at night..."
"Will do Muriel!  Can I call you that?"  I gave him a cheeky grin which only revolted in him giving me a darker glare.
"No..."  And with that he slammed the door shut behind him as he re entered the cabin.
"Well he was nice."  I looked over at (Y/N) who was now laughing her ass off.
"Don't worry about my brother, he may be large but he's a huge teddy bear!"  I sighed in relief oh thank goodness her brother isn't a cereal killer!  But I do wonder why they live all the way out here?  Hmmm  I guess I could ask her in the car.  I swiftly held my arm out to her which she gladly took.
"Ready to go darling?  Your chariot awaits!"  I did one of those goofy little bows as I led her towards my car, every time I see her smile and laugh it warms my heart,  I don't ever want to see that smile fade.  Once I helped her into my car I decided to do the pleasure of buckling her up in her seat for her especially since in this car it can be a bit sticky and not wanna work, but I have a trick for it.  Once she and I were all situated I took off leaving the forest and back to town, back to civilization. I should probably ask her about why she lives in the woods with her brother now before I forget..  "Hey..  I was wondering..  Why do you live in the woods with your brother?  Away from people?  Doesn't it get lonely?"  I looked at her through the corner of my eye.
"My brother doesn't like people that much...  I'm one of the only people he cares about and would let into his life..  Then there's his childhood friend Asra, they're close and I'm happy my brother has a friend but I have been trying to convince him to make some more friends."  I nearly choked when I heard Asra's name. I quickly looked away trying to avert her eyes.  "You ok?  Do you need water?  I believe I have some in my bag here.."  She started digging through her bag till I finally stopped her letting out a small chuckle.
"N-no..  I'm alright!  I just haven't heard Asra's name in such a long time, we used to be close till he started traveling all the time I guess we lost touch after that.."  I continued to drive on till we finally approached our destination.  "But never mind that!  We're here on a date!  We should have fun!  No moping about!  Because we're here mylady!"  I took another lavashing bow which caused her to laugh.
"How charming!"  She then looked up at the sign and let out a high squeal causing me to chuckle.
"D-do you like it?"  I looked over at her as she gave me a fast nod.
"I love it Julian!  I love bowling!"  As those words left her mouth it brought a huge smile to my lips.
"Well what are we waiting for then!  inside we go!"  I got out of the car as I also helped her out along the way.  I quickly rushed over to the door and held it open for her.  "Ladies first~"  She let out a small giggle before walking inside. I followed shortly after, I watched as she tried to pay for the night but I swiftly snatched her wallet from her putting it back into her bag.  "I don't think so!"  I dug through my coat pocket pulling out an old leather wallet handing the girl in front my card.  "We'll need 2 pairs of shoes, 1 pair in size 12 mens and another pair in size.."  I swiftly looked over at (Y/N) waiting for her to respond with her shoe size.
"Oh...  A size (SH/S) please!"  The women looked at us once more before handing us the sizes we needed, I watched (Y/N) head over to our spot putting her shoes on as I finished paying, I then headed back over towards her sitting right next to her struggling to put my shoes on she couldn't help but laugh at my struggle causing my cheeks to go red.
"A-a little help?"  I looked over at her with a pleading look which I can tell melted her heart because she immediately took the shoe from me and helped me put it on, once we were both laced up in our bowling shoes we picked out our bowling balls and set up our nicknames on the screen I was of course Sexy doctor but as soon as I put that I could tell (Y/N) was trying her hardest not to laugh.  "What's so funny?  You don't think I'm a sexy doctor~"  What came next caught me way off guard.
"Oh no~  You are definitely a sexy doctor but I'm surprised you didn't set your nickname to hot buns~  because you definitely got some hot buns~"  My cheeks were now a deep crimson red d-did she just say what I think she just said..  I looked back at her and she was smirking. I continued to blush but immediately shook it off before grabbing my ball.
"H-hurry and pick your name so we get get this date started.."  I watched as she moved over to the machine and entered in her nickname when I looked up at the screen above I saw it said (B/N), I then looked at her which just caused her to blow a kiss at me, my cheeks were going to be brighter than a tomato by the end of this date.  "Ready to lose my dear."
"Oh ho ho, someone's confident that their going to win!  Well for your information I just so happen to be a pro at bowling!  So you'll be the one to lose!"  I chuckled as I wrapped my arm around her shoulders.  "Then let's get our bowl on!"  I was about to go first but as soon as I picked up my bowling ball again It ended up slipping between my hands landing right on my foot I let out a loud gasp along with an unexpected moan I quickly covered my mouth hoping she didn't hear but when I looked at her through the corner of my eye I can see her eyes were wide.
"Did you just moan after you dropped a heavy bowling ball on your foot?"  I looked away, averting eye contact.
"N-no!"  I picked my bowling ball off my foot and went to roll it down our lane but I was so distracted that I ended up going to far causing me to slip which caused me to fall straight on my bum, I was about to get up but I saw my bowling ball falling towards my area I gasp as I quickly rolled out of the way allowing the ball to land on the solid ground making a loud noise but luckily no one really cared to look our way.
"Julian!  Are you ok?!"  (Y/N) rushed her way over to me as she helped me back up to my feet.
I groaned rubbing my ass with my hand since it was still a bit sore.  "I'll be fine my dear. A little bruise won't hurt me."  She crossed her arms looking at me with a worried look.
"Yeah but you also almost got hit in the groin with a bowling ball!  If you like we can call it a night, you seem to be having bad luck.."  I quickly shot up looking at her with a sad look.
"Darling no!  I want this date to be the perfect date for you.."  She gently put her hand on my cheek.
"A date isn't a date without a date Julian..  and if you end up getting hurt then i'll feel bad..  But I'm really enjoying this date. It's definitely a 100 out of 10 but if you can still bowl then I say game on."  She picked up her bowling ball, rowing it down our lane getting a perfect strike and my jaw dropped.
"What's so shocking?  The fact that I got a strike on the first bowl?  Or the fact you're gonna lose to your date!"  I gasp, grasping at my heart.
"In your dreams!"  I quickly grabbed my bowl and this time I bowled it correctly this time with no injuries or slipping and bam!  I got a perfect strike!  As the day went on so did our date I ordered us some food which we enjoyed together telling jokes laughing and sometimes crying It was definitely something to remember this date by as the sun was finally below the hills and no longer insite (Y/N) and I headed back to my car and back to the woods to her brothers cabin.  "I'm glad you enjoyed the date. I had a lot of fun even though I ended up getting hurt during the first part of it."  I scratched the back of my neck as I drove deeper into the woods till we soon finally reached the cabin she called home.
"I really did have a blast Julian!  And if there's a second date then maybe you won't get injured this time, and you should ice your bum a bit before it gets bad.."  She leaned in giving my cheek a quick peck on the cheek, I know I said my cheeks were really red before but now they are supernova red, you could probably use me as a heating device for how red my cheeks were, all I could do was nod as she exited the car giving me one last wave before the last thing I saw was the bright twinkle in her eyes as the door shut leaving me in the dark, I lifted my hand up to my cheek the one she had kissed, it was still warm..  I bit my lip thinking about our next encounter which would most likely be at work but next time I'm going to ask her out and the kiss won't be on her cheek no...  It'll be on her lips, that's all I could think about as I headed off to my one humble abode
(Sorry if Julians was a bit longer then asra's i'm a bit more familiar with bowling then slam poetry QWQ plus i've been talking with a friend about what all sorts of things should happen in this scenario XD  )
Lucio
Finally!  It's date night!  And I have just the perfect location for mine and (Y/N)'s date and she's going to love it!  But then again what if she doesn't..  I stared at myself in my closet mirror doing a few poses trying to figure out what I should wear.  It's not often that I go to these places but I'll do anything for (Y/N), Ugh!  But I can't figure out what to wear!  When I took a glance at my watch that was sitting on my night stand I nearly choked.  Shit!  I'm going to be late to pick her up!  I don't want her to think differently of mine like every woman does!  (Y/N) is special and I don't want her to think I'm standing her up..  Plus her grandmother scares me so I better be there on time. I quickly picked out an outfit, throwing it on, snatching my phone off the edge of my bed as I dashed out the door only to get stopped by Mercedes and melchior.  "Babies not now..  Daddy has a date to get to."  I patted their heads as I headed towards the door but as I did so Mercedes grabbed a hold of my pant leg causing me to fall.  "Oof!  Mercedes!  Daddy's going to be late!"  As I looked up I saw both dogs had their leashes in their mouth. I let out a sigh, they were not going to stop till I agreed to take them with them.  "Ugh!  Fine!  you two can come but you better not mess up this chance for me."  They both leaped up with joy as they dashed out the door and into my convertible.  I followed close behind as I got into the driver's seat but before I headed out I decided to send (Y/N) a message just in case.
Lucio: Hey hot stuff!  Sorry If I'm gonna be late, I had a wardrobe malfunction and a pup situation which reminds me, you don't mind that Mercedes and Melchior tag along, do you?  They didn't give me any other choice.  (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞ ( ̄ ̄|||)
(Y/N): By wardrobe malfunction do you mean you couldn't decide on what to wear Lucio you don't need to dress all fancy to impress me and I don't mind!  I love Mercedes and Melchior!  So Of course they're welcome to join us!  Just as long as wherever you take me allows pets.
Lucio: noooooooo......  Ok maybe..  But Yes the place I'm taking you definitely allows pets especially my two babies
(Y/N): Just get here soon I'm looking forward to our date
Lucio: You are...  I mean of course you are!  You're going out with me of course!  I'll make sure you have a blast!
(Y/N): See you later Romeo
Lucio: Wait if I'm Romeo then does that make you my Juliet~  Wait...  Don't they die in that play!  (╬ Ò﹏Ó) ( ╥ω╥ )
(Y/N):  Maybe...  Welp See you when you get here!
Lucio: (Y/N)!  Ugh fine whatever..  I'll be there in 10
I set my phone down as I pulled out of the driveway and towards (Y/N) home I don't need to enter her address into my gps because i've been there quite a few times it's almost like a second home to be besides the fact i'm not really welcome there but that doesn't matter!  I'm heading there to pick up my date so they can't stop me even if they tried. As soon as I left my house I headed straight to (Y/N)'s.  About an hour had passed as I groaned. I forgot how far she lived from my place...  Maybe I can convince her into moving in with me..  Or is that too straight forward, I don't want to scare her off even though most women would love to live with me, but (Y/N) isn't most women, one wrong move and I'm done for..  Fuck!  What if she doesn't like the location I choose, what if she only asked me out of pity!  I slammed my head on the steering wheel of my car a few times causing the horn to go off which ended up startling Mercedes and Melchior causing them to whimper and cower in the back, I quickly stopped reaching a hand back to gently soothe the two dogs which worked for a short while till they shoved my hand away not wanting to have it anymore, I rolled my eyes ``Fine have it your way, were here any way."  As soon as I pulled in front of her house the two dogs jumped out running up to the front door scratching at the door whining, I didn't think they would take such a licking to (Y/N) like this, it's a first that they've ever like anyone else before they usually just growl and bark at other people.  "Hey you two!  Stop scratching at the door and get your canine butts back over here."  And with that they ignored me because as soon as the door was opened they ran inside, my eyes widened as I ran over to the door slamming it all the way open and what I had just witnessed was actually pretty funny, mercedes had her brother cornered in a corner as Melchior was laying outside your door waiting for you to exit your room, I let out a chuckle but sadly I had to do something but as I was about to approach mercedes when all the sudden (Y/N)'s brother yelled out to her.
"(Y/N)!  Lucio is here and his dog is trying to kill me!"  I could hear a small laugh coming from her room.
"Julian, that's an understatement!  If you don't show fear then they shouldn't attack!"  She's not wrong but regardless if you show fear or not Mercedes will still try and bite people.
"Sis!  You know I'm full of fear when it comes to a vicious dog trying to bite my face off!"  I watched as her brother was close to having a panic attack till her bedroom door slammed open revealing an agitated (Y/N) but as soon as she saw Melchior was waiting for her in front of her door she quickly patted his head causing him to sit up wagging his tail happily.
"Julian you have a vicious raven as a pet and yet you're scared of a dog who's too adorable to be called vicious."  She waltzed over to Mercedes patting her head which she gratefully accepted.
"Vicious?!  How dare you call Malak vicious!  He's a good boy."  (Y/N) crossed her arms not looking amused at his statement.
"Malak will literally peck out anyone's eyes if you touch his treasures and if he steals my jewelry again that bird is going to be turned into a pie!"  He gasped, clutching his heart at the thought of that.
"You wouldn't dare.  Malak is family."  I know I should stop the two from arguing but this is pretty entertaining.
"He's more like a pain in my ass, now if you'd excuse me brother I have a date to go to."  Julian was now free from the corner as Mercedes and Melchior followed (Y/N) outside and to the car I was about to follow behind till Julian stopped me.
"Make sure she gets back home safely, I still don't quite trust you but seeing how she was the one to ask you out I'll allow you to take her on a date but if I hear one bad thing about it then i'll send malak after you."  Is he trying to threaten me?  I think he is but he is (Y/N)'s older brother so I can't blame him.
"Don't worry yourself short!  She's in good hands!  I'll have her home in one piece I can promise you that."  I gave him one of my signature smirks before I walked out the door but as soon as I left I heard him yell out to me.
"You better!  I don't want my baby sister to get hurt!"  I rolled my eyes before helping (Y/N) into the car right before I got into the driver's seat.
"Off we go!"  I pulled out of the driveway and off to our destination.
"I'm sorry if my brother threatened you..  He still treats me like a child when I'm more than capable of taking care of myself."  She huffed in annoyance crossing her arms, I couldn't help but chuckle, she's just so damn cute when she's angry.
"It's no big deal, I understand that he's just worried but let's not worry about what your brother cares about. We have a date to get to and I don't want your brother to ruin our date by being a worry wart!"
She giggled nodding before going to pet the two dogs who were now asleep in the back.  "I agree!  Now lucio..  where are we going for our date?"  I let a small smirk appear upon my lips.
"Now that you will have to wait till we get there~"  She whined, shaking me a bit.
"Come one!  No fair, can't you at least just give me a hint!"  I shook my head.
"Nope, now sit back and don't distract the drive, unless your distracting me in a different way~"
She shot me a glare before sitting back into her seat.  "Perv!  Just drive so I can find out where you're taking me."  I couldn't help but laugh as I continued down the road. Two hours had passed since this location was pretty far but I wanted the best for my date.
"Did this place have to be so far away?"  I started to sweat with worry. Did she not like the distance?  Fuck..  Did I screw up already!
"Well yes I just want the best for my date, plus you're the one who gave me the liberty of choosing where we go, so I choose a place that's pretty far but also fun."  I chuckled nervously before pulling up into a parking lot.
"Ooooh!  Well I can't argue with that!"  I took a huge sigh of relief before exiting the car once we'd parked.
"Well now your curiosity can no longer linger because we're here!"  I opened her door and allowed her to look around as she got out of the car.  "Soooo?"  I looked at her waiting for an answer on what she thought.
When I saw her eyes wide and a huge smile appear upon her lips I knew she loved it.  "Lucio!  I love carnivals!  I just can't believe it took two hours to get here but no more of that come on let's go already!"  She grabbed a hold of my hand waiting for me to get a move on, once Mercedes and Melchior were out of the car I started leading her through the gates and onto the carnival grounds.
"What should we do first?"  I looked around till I spotted a ring toss game, which was supposed to be really tricky but when I saw (Y/N) eyeing the giant teddy bear I just had to win it for her!  So I did what any date would do, drag her over to the game and promise that I'll win her that bear.  "Today is your lucky day!  I Lucio the most handsome date will win you (Y/N) that giant teddy bear!"  I slapped down a dollar on the stand where the ring toss was and was given 24 small rings I took a deep breath and started tossing them 1 at a time I missed the first few times which frustrated me but after a while I only managed to get 5 on the bottles, but wasn't able to win that teddy bear, I groaned and slapped down another dollar and kept going about 40 minutes passed by till I was finally able to win the giant teddy bear, I held it out to (Y/N) giving her a wide grin.
I watched as she hugged it, giving me a big smile.  "Thank you Lucio I love it, but now I want to win you something!"  My cheeks started to heat up.
"(Y/N) no need!  Isn't winning you something good enough?"  She shook her head before grabbing my hand leading me off deeper through the carnival.
"Nope!  Now let me win you something!  You find anything you like, I'll win it for you!"  I couldn't help but blush even harder. No one has ever wanted to win me something before, they usually just use me for my money..  But not her. She sees me differently..
"Fine!"  I looked around till I saw a small goat plush hanging up at a skew ball game so I pointed at it.  "I want that goat plush!"
She let out a small laugh.  "Ok then!  I'll (Y/N) the most fabulous date shall win you that goat plush!"  I let out a hearty laugh as she set down a dollar receiving 9 skee balls in return, I watched closely as she tossed each ball and as she did that she ended up scoring a perfect score with each toss, my jaw dropped as she was handed the goat plush which she handed back to me.  "Here you go as promised I won you the goat plush!"  I blushed as I gently took the small plush from her holding it close to my chest.
"I shall treasure it forever, but I think we should get some food, don't you agree?"  As those words left my mouth I heard her stomach growl which I couldn't help but laugh.  "I'm going to take that as a yes, I held out my arm for her to take as I led us towards the food stands.
A few hours had passed after winning each other's prizes and just messing around till it started to get dark, I led her back to my car and headed back out and as promised she was in one piece.  As we were back on the road we told each other jokes, and stories about our past. My cheeks were a tad red from laughing and were a bit sore.
"Maybe if your lucky Lucio I'll allow you to take me on another date."  That's what she had said as I pulled into her driveway.
"So your telling me that you would want to have a second date?"  I watched as she stepped out the door which I followed standing outside of my car.
"I had a blast so of course, and if I were to rate this date I would rate it a 100 out of 10 all the way."  She walked over to me giving me a small peck on the cheek which made my cheeks grow more red, I was about to respond to it but was interrupted by a whine coming from the back seat, she let out a laugh before giving Mercedes and Melchior a kiss on their furry little heads.
"I'm sorry for leaving you two out, i'll be more considerate next time, but I gotta go now my brother is probably putting a hole in Mazlinkas rug right about now."  She stood up straight before walking back to her front door but before she entered the door she turned around giving me a sweet smile waving to me, but I was still a bit stunned by the kiss she gave me so I couldn't wave back till it was to late and she was already hidden by the door, I gently pressed a hand upon the cheek she kissed and nearly melted, she actually kissed me..  I can't believe it and it wasn't out of pity either..  But next time it'll be I who does the kissing!  and I won't just be on her cheek it'll be upon her lips, I re entered my car slowly pulling out, not to fast and not to slow, I wanted to watch her house get smaller and smaller slowly, till her house was just a little spec soon to be nothing as I drove through the night.
Muriel
Today...  Today is the day that I go and pick up (Y/N) for our.... Our date....  I can't believe she let me pick the location...  What if it's not to her liking...  What if she doesn't like me afterwards...  No she won't do that to me..  She cares about me....  A-and I care about her..  I just hope she likes where I have in mind..  I looked over at the clock on my wall, it's almost time..  I picked up my phone deciding I should message her letting her know that I'll be there soon.
Muriel: Hello.......  I'll be there soon.....
(Y/N): alright!  No need to rush but I would like to leave before Asra tries making me where something tie dyed to our date
Muriel: ................
(Y/N): Ikr!  I don't know why he thinks tie dye is a good fashion choice..  It's just so cringe..
Muriel: .....Agreed (*/ω\)
(Y/N): I'm waiting for you outside btw!  I needed some fresh air so i'll see you when you get here! <3
Asra's fashion choice is always.... Odd....  I don't think I could ever imagine (Y/N) wearing tie dye...  My cheeks then started growing red, N-not that I think of her like that or anything...  But I don't think it's great......  I pat Inanna on the head before I left my little cabin in the woods and walked all the way over to (Y/N)'s luckily she doesn't live that far from where I do, it only took about 30 minutes to arrive, and as promised there she was sitting on the front steps waiting for my arrival...  I slowly approached her hoping I wouldn't startle her....  "Sorry if I kept you waiting long....."  When she looked up at me she gave me the sweetest smile which just made my cheeks go a deep crimson red.
"No not all!  But I'm glad you're here, I'm really looking forward to our date."  I started blushing even more.
"I-i hope you'll like what I have planned...  I-it's nothing much but it's something...."  She stood up walking up next to me.
"No matter where our date is, I'm going to love it!  Because it's with you, now lead the way!"  I blushed a bright bright red before leading her back towards the forest.
"Were going back to your place for our date?"  I looked back at her through the corner of my eye.
"Not exactly....."  I led her further into the forest till we came across a clearing which revealed to be a beautiful open greenery with beautiful colorful flowers with a blanket layed out upon the floor with a wooden picnic basket placed in the center along with a pitcher of clear cold water, and in the background was a beautiful crystallized water fall.  I looked back at her only to see her eyes widened and her jaw dropped. At first I thought she didn't like it but out of nowhere she pulled me into a giant bear hug.
"Muriel!  This is beautiful!  How did you find a place like this?"  I couldn't help but blush a darker shade of red.
"I-i found it by accident.....  I was taking Inanna on her daily walk when I stumbled upon it.."  I brought her over to the blanket sitting on the other side of where she sat down, as I was firmly on the blanket I opened up the basket removing the contents within starting with a few sandwiches that I personally made after asking Asra what kind (Y/N) liked.
"I hope this is ok..."  She moved closer to me which made me blush but it felt nice. I handed her her sandwich, which she gratefully took. I took out a glass and poured some  water into it, handing it over to her.
"This is perfect Muri!  Thank you!  This place is really beautiful, especially the waterfall."  She took a bite out of her sandwich as she laid down onto the green grass with her legs still on the blanket, she stared up at the sky giving off the most beautiful smile, my cheeks started to heat up a lot more before I decided to lay down next to her.
"I-I'm glad you're enjoying yourself.........."  I looked over at her and gave her a small smile before looking back up to the sky only to see the once blue sky was now dark with a bunch of tiny little glowing stars.
"I hadn't realized it was that close to nightfall.  It's really something isn't it."  She slowly rested her head closer to mine.
"It is.....  We should finish eating before it gets really really dark..."  I sat up helping her sit up as well.
"Agreed!  What other stuff do you have?"  I pulled out two slices of pie, handing her one as I sat the other in my lap.
"Pie..."  Her eyes gave off a small sparkle.
"I love pie!  Muri this is the best thank you!"  I watched as she took a bite, her eyes sparkling a lot more.  "This is delicious!  Did you make this yourself?"  I looked away a bit, scratching the back of my neck before taking a bit of my own pie then slowly nodding.  "Wow!  This is really good!  Better than anything my brother can make!"  I let out a small chuckle, especially at her enthusiasm. She's happy about basically everything, and that's what I like about her...  Once we finished up the rest of the food we packed up and headed off back to her place, it may have been dark but with the help of the fireflies we were able to exit the forest without any harm.  As we approached her house she gave me a small peck on the cheek before walking up to her door. My cheeks turned even brighter than they had before.  "Hope we can do this again on a second date!  By muri!"  She waved at me as I slowly put a hand on the spot she had just kissed before nodding and heading off back to my own cabin, still a hot blushing mess, s-she kissed me...  A small smile appeared on my lips as I re entered the forest following the trails and the glow of the fireflies back to my home where all I could think about was how she wants to have a second date with me...  I can't wait...
If there's any sentences that don't make sense let me know because I used google docs to edit this up and it tends to change up a sentence or 2 to be odd and not right lol

A wave of courses leave Diane's lips when you're done telling her what happened yesterday. She tells you Robert is a lawyer, and if Neil ever shows up again, she won't save up money to sue his ass off. You couldn't agree more. But after the tense moment has passed, the three of you seat on the kitchen table, ready for a different kind of tension.
“Alright. Now, aunt. We're actually here for something else.” You start, clearing your throat and trying not to show that you're nervous about it. It's not that you're changing your mind, but you're aware of the big decision you're taking. And you're scared it won't work in the end, but still, you want to do it, to know how it would be to live with Billy. Well, with Maxine too. You're trying not to overthink, but to just give this crazy idea a chance.
“What is it?” She squints her eyes, flying from Billy and back at you.
“You tell her.” You elbow Billy, who looks at you with wide eyes. “It was your idea.” You lower your voice.
“But she's your aunt.” He complains.
“Alright, kids. What's going on?” Diane raises her voice, tapping on the table. “Should I be worried? I heard some rumors and–”
“No. It's... Good news.” You assure her, taking a deep breath before–
“I asked her to come to live with me.” Billy bursts out, and you don't know why but you feel so damn nervous about it, so you hold his hand. It's a funny feeling, one that you never felt. You never introduced any of the guys you dated to your parents. The only two guys you dated before. You did tell their names to Diane, but that was it. A short time after the relationship was over anyway, so it was never a thing. But this... This is huge.
“Well, that's... That's a big step you're taking." Diane doesn't seem mad, and you remember she's nothing like your parents. She understands you, supports you, and it makes you feel better, confident. And if you mess up, she will be right here to help you up. “Are you both sure about it?”
You both nod at the same time. “I came up with the idea.” Billy starts. ”We have the same plans about the routine when summer is over and the classes are back.” He moves your holding hands over the table, his thumb caressing the back of your hand. “I own my house, so it just makes sense since (Y/N) plans on staying in Hawkins.” He makes a pause. “As do I. And you wouldn't have to pay rent anymore.”
“It's not this part that matters. I came to live here because I wouldn't leave (Y/N) alone and I have no trouble driving to the clinic. What matters is what you guys are feeling. Living together is a big step. You'll be around each other all day, you'll get to know each other a lot better and fights will happen.” She's using the mom's voice, and it's so cute. You can't even remember how many times you wished she was your real mother. How many times you called her, in tears, sobbing, asking why she wasn't the one to put you into this world. But it doesn't really matter now, because it's Diane, it always has been, who was a mother to you. It's to her you run to when you need advice, and she's the one you're nervous about telling this decision. Your parents won't know about this, they don't have to. But Diane? She has to. You own her this much. “And you can't just break apart when the first disagreement hits.”
“We won't,” Billy speaks up before you can, tightening his grip on your hand a little. Turning your head, you look at him, those blue eyes reassuring you about all this, and a smile comes to your lips. “I love (Y/N). I think you, as her mother figure should know that.”
This takes you by surprise. You never thought Billy would be the one to act like this. He's still impressing you, every passing day...
“Then you already said the three big words to each other,” Diane states, but your eyes are locked on Billy's.
“We did,” you assure her, suddenly aware of the public, what makes you blush. “I really wanna do this, aunt.”
“I know, honey. I'll give you my permission then.”
“What?” You gasp, laughing a little. “I wasn't asking for permission. I was just... Letting you know.” Raising an eyebrow, you give her a smirk.
“I give permission.” Diane crosses her arms, leaning back on her chair.
“I don't–”
“Let's just start packing up your things.” Billy cuts you off, and you wonder if he's trying to get into your aunt's good side. He pulls you off the chair and you have no choice but to follow him.
You still have an hour before you have to get to the pool, so you start working. Diane helps until she has to go too, telling you she'll call the house owner from the clinic and let him know you'll be moving out.
As you put all your clothes and personal stuff into the three pieces of baggage you have, you feel it becoming real. Yesterday you were both a little high from the commotion, but now... You're actually doing it. You and Billy are emptying out your wardrobe and drawers, and the few stuff you have around the bedroom. You make a few trips to his car and back, making sure nothing is left behind.
“You don't have much stuff besides clothes,” Billy says as you both stand by the door frame, looking at the now empty bedroom.
“No. Actually, most of the clothes I have now I bought in Indianapolis. When I left New York I had nothing but a backpack.” You can't help but smile at the memory. You felt like a teenager that day, running away. It was the first time on a plane, but the whole flight was a blur. You could only think that you were finally free, to do what you wanted with your life.
“Ready to go? We can drop your things off before driving to the pool.”
“Yup. Let's go.”
The short ride back to his place is silent since you're a little lost in your own head. You don't know why, but the fear you once had of falling for Billy hits again. What if this is a mistake? What if it's way too soon to do this and this is what will break you apart. ‘We're bound to break.’ The sentence hits you like a brick, and you can't help but nervously run a hand through your hair, looking at the landscape outside the window.
“(Y/N),” Billy calls, and when you turn your face to look at him, you notice you're already here. “Are you ok?”
“Yeah, I... I just...”
“Did you change your mind?” His voice sounds weak, still deep and strong but... Weak. Fearful.
“No, I just... I don't want to ruin what we have. Guess I'm a little scared.” Shrugging your shoulders, you take a deep breath, stretching your arm and touching the back of his neck. “Aren't you? Not even a little bit?”
“Yes. I'm scared you'll open your eyes and realize the asshole I am and walk away.” Billy opens the door and steps out of the car.
“Shit,” you mumble, doing the same. “Billy, wait.” You raise your voice, eyes on his back as he goes to the front door. He's still affected by what happened yesterday, and it seems that the only thing that's making him happy is the fact that you're here. “Won't you help me carry these things inside?”
You smile when he stops, biting your lips when he turns on his heels and comes back.
You have your eyes on the clock since you couldn't help start putting things in their places. The room is a mess because of the bad idea of laying everything on the bed and only then start looking for places. You're thankful that he has some space in his wardrobe, but you'll need a new one, bigger. When you're tired of dealing with the clothes, you leave him to it and move to his bathroom. And there's definitely no space in the cabinet. You sit on the floor, looking at your things, and at the space you have to put them.
“It won't fit,” you complaim, considering putting everything on a box under the bed.
“What won't fit?” Billy asks from the bedroom, but he soon comes to your aid. “Ok, let me see.” He offers his hand and you take it, pulling yourself up. “You have... Three different types of shampoo.”
“Yes,” you mutter, leaning on the door frame. “One is for when my hair is dry, the other–”
“Two types of hair conditioner.” He's having way too much fun today, you can tell by the tone of his voice there's a smile hidden.
“I couldn't choose the scent I liked more.” You have no idea why you're explaining this to him.
“And... Two types of tampons.”
“For goodness sake, Billy!” You yell, felling your whole face burning. In an insanely fast move, you take the boxes from his hand, putting them away from his sight. The smile on his face makes you want to punch him.
“Chill, princess.” Grabbing the shampoo and hair conditioner, he gets back to his feet. “We can put those in the shower organizer.”
“Mhmm.” Looking down, you're still trying to swallow the embarrassment, drumming your fingers on the wall.
“You're so cute when you're blushing, strawberry,” Billy says as he comes out of the shower box, a smirk on his lips.
“I thought you said I looked like a tomato last time.” Giggling, you step back, running from his embrace.
“Yeah, but strawberries are cute.” He moves fast, a strong arm encircling your waist and pulling you close, making you collide against his chest. “Like you.”
“Did you know that when two women live together, their cycles are likely to get in sync?” It's your time to tease now, so you make sure to give him a wicked smile.
“And?” He furrows his eyebrows.
“You'll have two girls PMSing at the same time.” You can't help but laugh at his face, as he tries to understand what you just said. “Now, are you changing your mind, baby?” Keeping your voice soft, you peck his lips.
“Billy, where–” Max swings the door open, but her words are cut short, and when you look at her, you see the reason why. There are still some clothes scattered around. “What the hell is all this?”
“Uhm...” You forgot to tell Maxine.
“(Y/N) lives here now,” Billy says, embracing your waist from behind when you turn around to face Max.
You're nervous to read her expression, but it's blank. She doesn't believe it. What if she doesn't want you here? “A-are you happy about it?”
“Are you kidding? I'll have someone else in this house to talk to other than this shithead.” Her face breaks into a smile, and you're so damn relieved. “You're really serious this time, aren't you, Billy?”
“Yeah.” He mumbles, his mouth is dangerously close to your ear.
“Well, I'll leave you two alone before I'm grossed out.” Max rolls her eyes and leaves.
Taking a deep breath, you turn around, Billy's arms never letting go of you. “So... We're dating for less than twenty-four hours and we're already living together. We're both completely crazy, Hargrove.”
“I don't see a problem with that.” Billy crushes his lips on yours, and you laugh through the kiss. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you stumble backwards as he pushes you, tasting the lips you dreamed about for so long. A groan gets caught on your throat when your hip hits his dresser before your back hits the wall, which makes you laugh again.
“Ouch!” You exclaim, faking an angry face that soon enough fades away. You wonder if you'll ever get over the sensation Billy provokes. The nervousness, the butterflies on your stomach... You slide your arms down from his neck, so you're touching his chest. You guess it's ok now, right? To look at him and want to touch him. And you're kinda upset his wearing a shirt.
“Sorry. Just can't believe I can kiss you now.”
“It's not a big deal, Billy.” Biting your lip, you look at the clock he has on the dresser beside you. “We gotta go though. Or else we'll be late again.” When you turn to look at him, his face is different. It's the same from last night, full of pain and suffering. You're about to ask what happened when you realize you gave him a good sight of your bruised cheek. Red and purple, with the scratch from Neil's ring. Your eyes fall on his wounds too, on the apple of his cheek, his lower lip and above his left eyebrow. “Baby–”
“I'm sorry, (Y/N)–”
“I'm not,” you whisper, cupping his face with your hands. “I'll say it again: I'd face a hundred Neils for you. Without thinking twice. I love you, baby.”
Slowly, a smile comes to his lips. “I like it when you call me baby.”
“Well, baby...” Pushing him away, you gesture at the clock. “We gotta go.”
•
You somehow managed to get to the Community Pool right on time, despite being way too playful on your way there. The fact that you're holding hands until you have to split up at the lockers gets some attention. You change into the red swimsuit before putting on the sunblock, seated on one of the benches. You're putting your hair up on a ponytail when you hear a whistle, which makes you jump, heartbeat increasing.
“No running on my watch!” You hear Billy's yell, and you can't help but laugh. The kids are terrified of him.
You're playing with the tips of your hair when you leave the locker, making the way to the chair to start the day. Knowing there's a funfair to go to makes you want the day to pass real quick. You've never been to anything like that, and it'll be good to have something new and different to do.
“(Y/N).” Someone calls and you stop, turning on your heels to see who is it. All the joy melts when you see David, walking over you. “Been a while. How are you?”
“I'm great. You?” You ask just to be polite.
“Perplexed to know you're still hanging out with Hargrove. I even heard these rumors that you're–”
“Pregnant?” You cut him off, sighing. “Yeah. But I'm not. I fainted because of heat exhaustion, that's all.“ You give a step back, turning your head at the kid's pool, trying to make him notice you're not interested in talking. You'd work for twenty-four hours non stop if it means you won't have to talk to David.
“The hell is that on your face?” He raises his voice, and you suddenly remember the bruise and cut on your cheek. You forgot the damn thing. But you hate the way he talks, as if he had any right to. David's eyebrows are furrowed, an angry expression on his face.
“It's–”
“Did he do that to you?” David looks and gestures at something behind you, and you know who it is. A second later you feel Billy behind you and you immediately feel better. “He's beat up too. What the hell–”
“We got into a fight but that not your business,” Billy says, his voice especially deep and low. Like an unspoken threat.
“You should see the other guy,” you mutter, and a small smile involuntary comes to your lips.
“(Y/N), if this asshole did that you can tell me. I can–”
“David, stop it. Billy didn't hurt me and I don't have to tell you anything.” You can feel Billy getting tense.
“What do you expect me to think when you're still hanging around this asshole and then you show up with your face all screwed up? But if you want to be his whore, be my guest, (Y/N), good luck with that.”
“Now you stepped over the line,” Billy shouts, stepping forward, burning with anger. But you know this will end badly for him since he's an employee here and David is a client. If you were anywhere else, you wouldn't lift a finger.
“Let it go, baby.” You raise your voice, moving to stand between your boyfriend and David.
“I told you I'd break his nose the next time.”
“I know, but it's not worth it.” You keep a hand on Billy's chest, but you turn to face David. “Listen up, buddy. I couldn't care less about what you think you know. We're not friends, so the next time you want to come and talk to me as if we were anything else than two people who happen to live in the same town, don't. I have a boyfriend who looks after me, I have real friends and an aunt who looks after me. I don't need you.” You keep a straight face as if the words had no meaning at all. David looks like he was hit by a train, embarrassed because he knows there are people nearby, listening. You have been noticing most of the people here don't like him very much. Can't possibly understand why. “And next time you do anything like this, I won't stop Billy.” Leaning closer, you whisper: “I might even help him beat you up a little.”
He doesn't say anything else. He just walks away, leaving the pool. You turn around to look at Billy, as he follows David with his eyes until he's gone before looking down at you. “Damn, (Y/N).”
“Damn indeed.” Smiling, you chose to ignore the public for a while, tiptoeing to kiss him. Billy wraps his arms around your waist and lifts you up. God, you can feel dozens of eyes on your back. And you don't care one bit.
“Look what we have here.” Monica's voice is what makes you pull away, being put down again. “This must mean something good, I hope.”
“Guess,” you say, winking at her. But Monica's face changed and you know why.
Her eyes fly from you to Billy then back at you. “You guys ok? Got into a fight or something?”
“I'll explain everything later. We're still going to get ready for the funfair at your place, right?”
“Yup. All our girl friends. No boys allowed.” She points a finger at Billy. Despite the light tone of her voice, you can tell she's worried.
“No boys allowed,” you repeat, tiptoeing once more to place a quick kiss on his lips. “Now, let's get to work.”
•
At the end of the day, you're utterly bored. But there are still two hours to go. The pools are almost empty, compared to the number of people you have here daily. People are excited about the fair and left soon to meet up with their friends, and it only makes you more excited by the minute. So you're not on your post, you're seated on the middle step of Billy's chair, in between his legs, using his sunglasses, hoping the hours will pass by faster.
But honestly, you're already done for today. “This is the worse workday ever,” you mutter, breathing out. “We could actually leave. Anthony isn't even here.” You complain, staring at a small group of teenagers across the pool.
“Let's go then.” He lightly kicks your arm.
“What?”
“Let's go.” You get up when you feel him moving, giggling as he jumps to the ground and takes your hand.
You don't even bother to change, you just get your stuff and run to the car. You're a breathless mess when he speeds away, feeling like a teenager again, running from school.
Maxine is perplexed to see both of you home so soon, and she mumbles something about expecting something like this from Billy but not from you. It just makes you laugh harder. You quickly put the rest of your clothes in their new places before you decide to chill until it's time to go. Well, you'll go to Mon's earlier and he'll meet you there.
You can't believe you're so excited about this. Maybe you're just happy about everything and it's channeling to the fair. But it'll also be the first time you and Billy will go out as boyfriend and girlfriend. Maybe it's silly to think like that, but you think it's ok to be silly for a while. You're drinking a glass of cold water by the sink, looking at the street through the window. Hawkins is beautiful, and you can't help but wonder, imagine, what it could be from now on. You mean, you still got college to go through, but you want to know what will come next. You know what you want, but you still need to know what Billy wants. But it's not the time to think about it yet. You still have a good amount of summer ahead.
Running a hand through your hair, you go back to the living room, a smile forcing its way to your lips when you see Billy on the bench press, lifting the bar over his head. “Looking good, baby,” you tell him, getting one of his famous smirks, the same that once had you hating him for a while.
“Good to know you're enjoying the view, princess.”
Your eyes suddenly fall on your glass, still half full, as an idea crosses your head. Slowly, you walk over the bench until you're right next to him, looking down. “What if I...” You turn the glass just a little bit, threatening to spill the water on his chest.
Billy doesn't stop though, raising an eyebrow at you. “You won't do it.” He says, way too confident.
“Uhum...” You mumble right before fulfilling the threat and throwing water on him.
“What the–”
Bursting into laughter, you run on the moment you see him getting up. “Can't believe you did that.” He exclaims, and you're about to reach the hall when you're grabbed from behind, an arm around your waist, lifting you up. “Give me that!” He tries to grab the glass and you struggle to keep it out of his reach.
“Stop it!” You shout in between laughs, almost losing your breath since he's holding exactly on your ticklish spot. You gasp when you feel a bunch of water on your face. “It's glass, careful.”
“You have no idea what you started.” He yells, still trying to throw what's left of the water on you.
“What's all the yelling about?” Max's voice startles both of you, and when Billy moves, his feet slips and you're suddenly pulled down with him, falling on your butt. Your laughter clouds whatever Max is saying as you just stand there, on the floor. “You're crazy, you two.” She mumbles before heading back into her room.
“I–” You're interrupted by someone blasting the horn outside, and you know it's Monica. “That's my ride,” you tell him, pushing your body up to a sitting position, looking down at Billy. “See you there?”
“I miss you already.” One of his hands comes to caress your cheek, and you bend down to place a quick kiss on his lips.
After taking the bag with your outfit for the night, you meet up with Monica on the sidewalk. She's obviously excited about the fair, and so are you. The sun is down already, and the first signs of the night are already here.
“Hanging out at Billy's, huh?” She asks as she drives away.
“Yeah...” You can't wait to tell her, but you'll wait until Billy is with you. She'll freak out, you're sure. “Things are going unbelievably well between us.”
“I can see that.” Monica gives you a look, winking. “Candace and Alice will come a little later so we'll have some time to talk. And little lady, you have a lot to talk about.”
Smiling at her, you nod, turning your head to look at the landscape outside the window. The woods fly past you, the darkness already taking over under the trees. Something moves, and you move in your seat too, trying to see what it is. You're about to tell Monica when a strange feeling builds up on your stomach, and you squint your eyes, trying to see better.
That thing is as fast as the car, easily keeping up. Then you see another one, a little slower, but still unnaturally fast. Clenching your hands into fists, you quickly notice this is not the first time you see something like this. The low light, that somehow still finds it's a way through the leaves, gives you a sudden glimpse of their skin. And just as you thought, as you hoped not to be, it's naked. Like a dark, slick skin. The face is shapeless as if it didn't have one.
Terrified, you look away, focusing on the road ahead.
“(Y/N)? Are you alright?” Monica's voice sounds distant, low.
“Yeah.” You breathe out, nodding, and clearing your throat. “I'm ok.” Forcing a smile, you say it more to yourself than to her.
This gotta be a mistake. You're probably... You don't know. Imagining it? But James saw it, the same damn thing... Whatever it is, it's not in your head. It's real. Giving another look at the woods, you look for the animals, but they're gone. You should feel relieved, but you don't. You have to tell Billy about it and then the police. Someone has to do something, find out what this... Thing is. What if it starts attacking people? What if it leaves the woods and starts going into town?
Taking a deep breath, you run a hand through your hair. You'll try to keep it together for tonight. But tomorrow, you'll do something. You have to.

@fanficparker this is for u 💗
My favourite moments from your series 'Faking, falling' that made me feel things, Part 1
" Fake it, till you make— it was just a small phase with an unknown source, no available citations, no shreds of evidence available of how effective it was, yet so overrated. Maybe that was the prime reason why you accepted it as a mantra. A mantra that would solve a specific problem in your life, a problem that goes by the name of Harrison Osterfield."
I second that, Harrison Osterfield is a problem. Also why does that opening paragraph sound like like something Anthony Mackie would say in context to Tom Holland 😂😂😂😂
"You were falling for him and he was faking it from the very beginning."
What a pompous arsehole. Alexa delete my feelings.
“Sorry, darling but I don’t do feelings. And anyways you are not my type of girl.”
Mr. ' I dOnt dO feEliNgs bEcaUse iM sO cOol ' . God I hate people who say those words so fucking much. You don't like me? FINE, YOUR LOSS.
"You gasped and opened your eyes, seeing him back up, completely dry while his friends were standing on top of the staircase with a now empty bucket laughing like a maniac and right then Harrison Osterfield started laughing too. He laughed hysterically while you watched him with your hairs dripping from alcohol, clothes spoiled, fists clenched and vision already blurred with tears."
Surgery for my legs because I can't STAND THESE HOES
"Truly a magic boy who knew nothing but cheap tricks."
"Is that all you've got? A cheap trick and a cheesy one-liner?" "Sweetheart, that could be the name of my autobiography." IS THIS A REFERENCE TO IRON MAN 3? PLEASE TELL ME IT IS
“I guess it’s time for getting another eye checkup, specky.”
Bold words coming from another specky👀☕☕
Seriously Y/n, out of everyone you chose to have a crush on him?
me, after I get over every single crush I ever had. This is the most relatable line in this whole series. And I'm not even kidding. Men are trash. "buT noT aLl meN" and you know what? You're right, Peter Parker could NEVER.
“You okay?” Harrison moved closer to you, studying your finger.
why the snik snak tik tak Frick crack do you care you abominable shit goblin?
"Ting"
why did this made me laugh I'm soRRY-
" "Sorry babe, I was thirsty," she simply said, "
SURE YOU WERE😏
"He nodded ignoring the beautiful girl whose presence was mentally strangling him."
I love how all writers come up with variations for " I dislike x person". The other day I read somewhere that, " His voice made my brain go through a cheese grater." Like that's GENIUS 🎉
" But he didn't want to look disrespectful or create any scene. "
WHALE WHALE WHALE MR. OSTERFIELD, TOO LATE FOR T H A T
"Sometimes he asked himself why he was even considering them friends. They weren't anything like Tom or Tuwaine or the twins. But the latter were now no more his friends."
so no one told you life was gonna be this way 👏👏👏👏👏
"Shelly..."
she sells sea shells on the shore - try saying that 5 times faster lmaoooo
" "It's two and a half hours past six. The photographers were really pissed. It's dangerous for my reputation. How am I supposed to face them again? Should I shut this project?" George slid into the chair, hands on his face."
BIIIIIIG REPUTATION, BIIIIIIG REPUTATION, OOOOH YOU AND ME WE GOT A BIG REPUTATION AAAA- ok ok Imma stop
""I mean I would really help Harrison with his punctured car if I was there. I got out of the home after 8 myself and found him speeding. I have no idea. And basically, Cath drives via highway and is still on time, I don't know how Harrison got stuck in the traffic. Is it so Harrison?""
WE LOVE DOING TIT FOR TAT YES, GO YOU PETTY QUEEN
""It affected my self-esteem." He said quietly which made you look at him. "Like you cared for mine at Rick's party. I didn't ask you to lie, to pretend as if... as if you like me. And how did you treat me?""
I can't tell you how much I laughed sinisterly at this (my sister thought I was going insane) , love when someone gets a taste of their own medicine 😂😂😂😂
"There's isn't just any article available on the internet to teach you how to hate someone."
Yup bros, turns out adulting is just googling the stuff you don't know how to do.

prompt: YukiYuno + "A Dream" by Jacob Tillberg (with Yuki having moved on and currently dating Aru and Yuno being the supposed/actually dead (whichever way you wanna take it))
She said
Do you really wanna know it all?
He said
You're not real
I got their call
I know you're gone
I'm moving on
Yuki knows that Yuno’s gone. Seen the body attended the funeral. Watched the gunshot get her in the heart and her instantly crumple to the floor. No goodbye no closure no hope of even begging her to stay. She was just…. Gone. Yuki knows this Yuki’s seen this Yuki’s gone through the several steps of certifying that she’s never coming back. But he sees her out of the corner of his eyes at night. Hears her voice when nobody’s speaking. Feels her intently staring at the back of his head. Yes, Yuno was a mixed bag. Yuno stalked him and clung to him and killed for him and kidnapped him and he somehow managed to call it love. To keep himself sane enough, he supposes. Had he been able to acknowledge the fact that neither of them had any idea what “love” outside of obligation meant, and that the girl that was his one shot at making it out of a literal killing game was actually just constructing him as a concept of hope for a future outside of her horrendous past ie her parents and the cage and the… the fact that she’d tried this before and won but couldn’t conceptualize a future without him in it… perhaps more than a few lives, including her own demise which befell her by running out of options and throwing herself in front of him to take a bullet to the heart in his place, could’ve been spared. Yuki knows whatever he “felt” for her and she “felt” for him were built out of a mutual sense of desperation that neither were able to fully acknowledge until one was gone. Dead on the spot. No closure. No goodbye. Gone. Yuki feels sick to his stomach the more he thinks about it. The more he tries to write off the specter that’s entered his life the second the… girl left it, the more clearly he can see her face in the bathroom mirror behind him. He splashes the tears off of his face with cool water. She’s gone. He closes his eyes. He hears a single but clear as day “Yuki” in Her unmistakable voice. He falls to the floor clutching his knees. “Please leave me alone, I know you’re gone. I know you’re gone. Yuno you…. You’ve gotta go. I know you…” his voice fails him. What does he know? That she made him into a living coping mechanism? That everything they ever did was both of them trying to overcompensate for the overwhelming lack of hope in their life? He repeats himself “Please leave me alone Yuno..” A hand on his shoulder that he narrowly avoids swatting away. Another “Yuki?” but this ones softer… this ones more real. A gentle mutter of concern that’s so close the breath tickles his ear. Yuki opens his eyes after the count of ten. “Aru” “Yup, me alright” they assure him, worry flitting through their eyes. Another half minute passes. “Would it be ok if I…” they trail off and haphazardly open their arms. Yuki falls into their embrace without much hesitation. Aru instantly takes to running their fingers through his hair and placing their forehead against his. “Seeing Yuno again?” Yuki nods. “Do you wanna talk about it?” “I don’t know” “If you do…” they trail off again and place their lips to his forehead. Yuki knows this is what actual love feels like. Something not built out of desperation on both ends. Something quiet and reassuring and persistent and unquestionable. And Yuki, despite what he tried to tell himself for a good while, knows that he’s always held a bit more than fondness for the person who introduced themself with a stroke of his cheek followed by a “don’t worry hot stuff.” Funnily enough, the deep-seated affection he feels for his self proclaimed guardian angel hasn’t raised any of the concerns and persistent “oh this is Wrong”s that plagued his… time with Yuno. Yuki’s drawn out of his thoughts by Aru starting to doze off with their forehead still pressed to his, which figures given the fact they’ve always been a sleepy type of person the second they’re a: not trying to piece several things together and b: within Yuki’s presence. Yuki knows quite well why they can’t fall asleep without somebody watching over them, but never mentions it. He gently places their head against his collarbone and just… watches them.
Takes note of the gentle rise and fall of their chest, their pale hair and assortment of scars catching the starlight, the small smile that graces their face as he runs his thumb along their cheekbone. Aru may as well be the ghost given their appearance. Yuki finally lets his eyes stay from his partner, and of course he sees Yuno in the corner of the room with more substance than Aru appears to be. And finally Yuki can speak; can get closure. “Yuno I… I know everything about you. The real you. I know that you never really loved me and that I… that I never really loved you. I can never,” he pauses to laugh a little melancholically as tears bead in the corners of his eyes, “I can never pay you back from keeping me alive long enough to have been lucky enough to meet Aru. I can never pay you back for keeping me alive, period. So thank you. I’m sorry that things worked out the way they did I’m sorry you’re dead I’m sorry it’s undeniably my fault. But I think it’s time we both move on. I…” he glances down at Aru, still with a ghost of a smile on their face, “I’ve moved on. I hope you can too.” His voice finally breaks completely and his tears burn his cheeks. But he allows himself to smile nonetheless. And Yuno returns the smile with a small nod, and then she’s gone. Aru wakes up, their voice slurred with sleep, and manages to say “Yuki…? Oh god you’re crying, what’s wrong?” And they sit up and wipe away a few of Yuki’s tears and Yuki looks back at them before shakily saying “Nothing, I’m good now actually.” And he examines the concern marring Aru’s face and their reassuring touch and Yuki cups their cheeks before placing his lips against theirs slowly, deliberately, gently as though Aru will shatter if he presses any harder. “I love you, Aru. I love you a lot and god do I hope you know it,” and now Aru’s blinking away tears as they instinctively answer “All the same to you” which warrants a laugh from Yuki. And Yuki wraps them in a hug that’s tight enough to ensure the message of “if I let go I fear you’ll forever disappear and by god I cannot allow that” is received. And Aru returns it slowly and they bury their face in his shoulder and murmur, “I’m not going anywhere Yuki,” before pressing their lips to his cheek. And Yuki knows they mean it.

UnBroken and Together.
Tumblr media
Summary: Y/n comes up in the box in a box. Apparently the creators didn't like her that much not sure why though? She meets Newt, one of the only people she trusts and something happens. Newt reveals his feelings to her and she admits to feeling the same way but.
Warnings: Mentions of rape and fluff
Pairing: Newt x Reader
AN: Moodboard made by @a5-theglue-thatdried
You woke up in a dark place. It was wooden and you were cramped inside. Your head pounding. You didn't know where you were. You pushed and kicked the top as hard as you could but it seemed as it was stuck.
You gave up, hugging your knees to your chest and sobbing. Something made a sound outside. You gasped, trying to steady your breathing and stop your cries. Then there were voices and a thud.
"Hello? Greenie?"
You covered you covered your mouth, to stop yourself from sobbing out loud. Be quiet and maybe the bad guy won't get you.
"There's no greenie!" Someone exclaimed, then there were voices fighting against it.
"Are you sure?", "What do you mean there's no greenie?", and "Look harder, Gally." Were some of the things you heard. "Yup, start grabbing the boxes."
More thuds came down making the box you were in jump. Be quiet. You felt the box you were in being lifted up.
"This one's really light." That was a different type voice, definitely. The box was dropped on the floor. The impact causing you to make a sound, "Omf." Your eyes widened and you put your hand on your mouth again.
"What was that?" "I think it came from the box." "No you shank why would they put the greenie in a box."
Who's they? Did they put me here?
You whimpered when they kicked the box causing your head to hit the wood.
"What the bloody-," someone whispered, "Hello? Is anyone in there?" He said aloud.
"No you shank there is no one in there." Someone said, you guessed he said back to the other.
"Well then open the box then."
Your eyes widened, trying to find a way to keep the box closed.
The top was yanked off causing you to flinch. It was bright outside. Too bright. You brought your hand up to cover your eyes.
"It's a girl." Someone whispered, "another one."
"But the greenie is in a box." There were six people standing around the box.
Two blondes, a dark skinned one, an Asian, and a brunette.
Your hands shook, as tears poured down your face. Your eyes puppy like.
One blonde kneeled down to the box, "Your safe now it's ok." You shook your nod and looked at the box.
Someone else kneels down to you, you look up to see the brunette. "I'm Thomas, you'll be ok, okay?"
You shake your head again, and pull yourself closer in the corner of the box.
"Come on darling let's get you out ok?" You shook your head.
"no. I don't know you." You whispered softly.
"I'm Newt, greenie." He said, looking at you. You smiled and shook your head. "What's so funny greenie?" He smiled.
"You are named after a lizard." You said quietly, smiling back up at him.
"Yeah alright sure. Come on now let's get you out of here ok?" He stood up, extending his hand. You took his hand shakily and stood up.
-
Over the next few months, you and Newt became closer and him being one of the only people you talk to. You became part of the trackhoes because Newt wanted to make sure you were ok at all times. That didn't go the way he wanted to all the time though.
"Hey greenie." You turn to see one of the builders, Jack. "Hi Jack." You say quietly returning to your work.
"Hey so I was wondering if you'd help me with something?" He asked, getting closer to you, where you can feel his breath on your neck.
"Jack, I-" he puts his arm around you waist pulling you towards him. You feel something press against your back making you cringe.
"Feel that princess?" The nickname makes you tear up. Please no.
He drags you to the deadheads making sure no one can hear you.
"Please Jack please don't." You said, shaking your head when he pushed you against the wall.
His hands gripped your waist so tightly, you knew there would be brusies. He digs his head into your neck, biting the skin. Meanwhile, he grinds into your core, making you feel sick.
You shake your head so much and tears fall down your face before he looks up and grabs your jaw. "No more moving." He seethed, spit falling into your skin.
Your chest raised rapidly, as the tears on your face felt like they were forever ongoing.
-
Newt was talking to Alby when they heard a scream from the deadheads, a girl's scream. Everyone's head turned. Newt began running as fast as he could with Thomas, Alby, Mihno, and Gally at his side.
When they arrived they began looking for you. Newt was panicking already, what was happening to the girl he liked? Wait what? Newt shook his head and continued looking. He didn't like you. He couldn't. Alby wouldn't let him.
-
Jack placed his hand over your mouth after you screamed. "Stop screaming baby, or you'll get us caught." He whispered, as he began to try and pull your pants down.
"No please." You said, your sobs becoming more consistent. "Please don't do this, Jack please."
Once he got them off, he raised his hand off of your mouth and held your arms above your head. You were about to scream before he placed his lips on yours. No. No.
You shook your head to keep his lips away from yours. He used his other hand to bring his pants down enough to reach his private and bring down your panties.
"You ready, princess?" Each word that came from his mouth made you sob louder than before.
"No please no." Were the past words you remember before the pain.
You screamed and cried only leading the other boys to you two. Jack was moaning in pleasure as you cried in pain. You hear rustling of the leaves before someone pushed Jack off of you, letting you push yourself to the wall.
"Newt, Minho found them!" Newt turned his head running towards Thomas. Before finding Jack on the ground and Minho punching him and Y/n in a t-shirt and only a t-shirt, being held in Alby's arms.
"Y/n." Newt said, pushing himself to her. He grabbed her from Alby and held her in his arms.
"Minho that's enough." Alby says, pulling Minho off of Jack. All the boys there were protecive over you, especially Newt, being that you only talked to them.
You gripped Newt's shirt so tight, your knuckles we're turning white. You felt blood trickle down your legs and onto Newt's pants. He held on to you like no tomorrow. Why did this have to happen to her?
You felt disgusting. You still could feel his hands gripping your hips as he thrusted into you. You moved your head to see Gally, Minho, Alby and Thomas yell at Jack as he pulled up his pants.
"Newt?" You whispered, looking at him. "Yes, love?" He looked at you with a worried look on his face. His eyes held pain, sadness, and worry all in one.
"Can I sleep with you in your room, please?" You ask, voice shaking. He sadly smiled at you nodding. "Yes love. Your more than welcome too." He replied, kissing your forehead.
-
For the next two months, you didn't feel comfortable around most of the boys in the Glade, only a few, Newt included. You always walked away from everyone else.
Plus, the nightmares. They were terrible. Yes, they banished Jack for sexually assaulting you, but that didn't stop the memories from interrupting your sleep.
You'd usually wake up in the middle of the night, screaming and crying. And Newt would always be right there straight away. He didn't care that you would take some sleep away from him or that you'd stay by his side each and every day. He didn't care. Not one bit.
-
You sat on the bench farthest away from the group as the celebrated the new arrival of this months greenie. You watched as everyone joked, laughed, and played around. Maybe you just weren't good enough to be included. Is that what they wanted? To ruin you? Because they were certainly achieving at that.
"Hello, love." You turned your head to see Newt, smiling softly at you, "How's it going? You alright?"
You nodded, watching him as he sat down next to you. "Yeah, yeah I'm ok."
"Good, that." He said, wrapping an arm around you, letting you lean into him.
One hand was wrapped around you while the other held a jar of Gally's secret recipe. Newt never over drank since you'd arrived. He always make sure he was sober enough to make sure you were ok.
"Y/n?" He said looking at you.
You looked up at him, raising your eyebrows. "Hmm?"
"Y/n I- shuck this is harder than I thought." He says, putting his drink down.
"Y/n I-I like you a lot and I care about you and I promise that I will take care of your for as long as I live." He spoke quietly. Every word coming from his heart. If anyone ever we're to explain how much Newt care about you, they'd have trouble too.
"Newt, I like you too." His eyes widened, looking up at you with hopeful eyes. "But your drunk and you don't mean it."
"Wha- Y/n First of all, I'm not drunk I'm barely even tispy. And two I mean it with everything I have." He explained, hands reaching out to grab yours.
"Newt, please don't lie to me it'll break me even more that you are trying to be nice instead of breaking my heart." You said pulling your hands away. That sentence broke his heart. She thought I was lying?
"Y/n I'm not giving you pity. I'm telling the truth I like you a lot. I swear I do." You didn't believe it. You couldn't.
You believed that you were to broken for anyone to fix. To annoying to Newt and everyone else who talked to you.
"Newt, I'm sorry but you-"
"I love you, goddamnit!" Newt yelled, standing up. He got the attention of the entire Glade but didn't care. You were the only thing he cared about right now.
"I love you so much, it hurts. I love how when your tired you lay your head down on the nearest thing, or when you don't want to sleep you'll try to run the sleep out of your eyes. I love how when you don't want to talk you'll just nod and I'll understand because I understand everything you do, it's so normal for me now. I love everything about you y/n. Please," his voiced cracking multiple times, "Please believe me."
"Newt, I'm broken can't you see that! I'm too broken to fix and you can't do anything about it! No one can ok!" You yelled back and standing up, biting your lip to not cry in front of everyone.
"Then we'll be broken together then!" He yelled, walked towards her and cupping her cheeks. "Cause I'm broken too."
He then kissed her, making the others yell and cheer them on.
Y/n then and only then realized that he could and would help her. And they would help each other and only months from now they would get out of the maze unbroken and together.

“I Think 'Dunkirk' Was Mediocre at Best, and It's Not Because I'm Some Naive Woman Who Doesn't Get It”
The offending article in question: http://www.marieclaire.com/celebrity/news/a28515/dunkirk-movie-review/ by Mehera Bonner
I am a white man. I take issue with Bonner’s article not because I hate “SJWs” or “Feminazis,” but because this article stylizes itself as a movie review and instead uses most of its space to tear down strawmen and generally be misandrist.
misandry: noun; dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against men
Let’s look at the text of the article itself:
“That movie was fucking bomb." That was one reaction I overheard after watching Dunkirk, Christopher Nolan's new directorial gift to men, who are currently spending their time fervently ranking his movies, arguing about said rankings, and—presumably—wearing fedoras completely un-ironically. Or even worse, ironically.
Bonner begins with a thesis of sorts: Dunkirk is a “directorial gift to men,” and men who enjoy his movies like to wear fedoras, presumably because they are stupid.
However, as we will see, Bonner does not fully support her thesis. She does bring up some valid criticism of the movie, but the article seems to devolve into repeating the same language found in this first paragraph without explaining her points. I’m not saying she needs to provide “data and statistics” for her movie review. Movie reviews are subjective. She needs to explain why Dunkirk is a “directorial gift to men,” and, if possible, why men are stupid and like to wear fedoras.
Obviously she doesn’t outright state that men are stupid here (that comes later), but for Bonner, the fedora is a synecdoche for the stereotype of a “neckbeard”: a white, fat, fedora-wearing man, who generally holds sexist beliefs and attitudes, while at the same time complaining and loudly wondering why they are not socially popular. The neckbeard is a strawman- but it’s not even clear what should be in place of the strawman. For no better reason, Bonner seems to mention men if only because Dunkirk is generally about a war populated heavily by men. There are no neckbeards in Dunkirk.
If Bonner wanted to address the societal implications of Dunkirk, or explain how the heated anti-woman and anti-minority atmosphere of the current day played into her opinion of Dunkirk, I would be fine with that. In fact, I wouldn’t be writing this at all. I don’t think movies or any other art need to be divorced from the society in which they were made to be able to judge them fairly. But Bonner doesn’t do that. She just attacks “pretentious men” who “would love nothing more than to explain to [Bonner] why [she’s] wrong about not liking it.”
There are points about the film in this article:
The thing is, I just don't think Dunkirk is a very good movie—if your definition of the word movie is "moving images held together by a plot." Like, yes: Dunkirk is very well-made. I felt like I was going to vomit during it, because that's how intense it was. And if your interests include riding a visual roller coaster called war, you will love it. But if you're a fan of films with plots, Dunkirk doesn't play that game. It's as if Christopher Nolan (sorry, "Nolan") plucked out the war scene from a script, and was like "let's just make this part extra long and call it a movie, lol."
Here Bonner notes that she believes the film is well-made, but criticizes the overall plot structure of Dunkirk- something which has been divisive. Some critics like the structure, others don’t. I wonder what part of Dunkirk’s “plot” didn’t resonate with Bonner, but she doesn’t elaborate, instead choosing to mock “war movie fans,” “Christopher Nolan fans,” and Nolan himself.
The film, in case you aren't already aware due to the endless critical musings devoted to it, is about the real life battle of Dunkirk—where British and Allied troops were rescued by civilian boats and evacuated. It's a story worthy of being told and re-told, and I really enjoy war movies in general, but still—actual stuff needs to happen. Stuff other than scenes of men burning in oil-covered water, ships sinking, and bodies drowning. If you want to argue that the non-stop violent intensity of the film was the point, and that we should feel fully immersed in the war like we're living it ourselves—I present Harry Styles.
I would disagree with her that what is pictured in Dunkirk isn’t “actual stuff.” I’m not sure what she means by “actual stuff,” again, because she doesn’t elaborate, but she does bring up a good point about Harry Styles:
The One Direction band member did a surprisingly impressive job in what turned out to be a pretty major role, but I refuse to believe it's possible for any viewer with even a semblance of pop-culture knowledge not see him and immediately go "OMG, it's Harry Styles."
I think this is an interesting point. I haven’t seen it mentioned by any other critics and it is definetly something I would agree with Bonner about. Seeing Styles in the movie distracted me from the overall tone (the “violent intensity” that Bonner mentioned earlier), and made me focus more on his performance.
Much like Ed Sheeran's cameo in Game of Thrones, having a pop star casually show up in a film will inevitably remove the audience from the narrative and ground them back in reality. Harry Styles is a constant reminder to the viewer that the movie isn't real, while the entire excuse for the film's intense and admittedly-impressive cinematography is to convince the viewer that they're right there in it. You can't have your Harry Styles cake and eat it too.
Yup.
But my main issue with Dunkirk is that it's so clearly designed for men to man-out over.
Unfortunately, here we veer off the rails and return to Bonner’s “thesis.”
And look, it's not like I need every movie to have "strong female leads." Wonder Woman can probably tide me over for at least a year, and I understand that this war was dominated by brave male soldiers. I get that.
A prevailing theme in this article is language that suggests Bonner needs to justify her criticisms even before she makes them, especially in regards to the “directorial gift to men” argument.
Let’s watch how Bonner begins to make a point about the film, but instead replaces it with misandry:
But the packaging of the film, the general vibe, and the tenor of the people applauding it just screams "men-only"
Ok, how?
—and specifically seems to cater to a certain type of very pretentious man who would love nothing more than to explain to me why I'm wrong about not liking it. If this movie were a dating profile pic, it would be a swole guy at the gym who also goes to Harvard. If it was a drink it would be Stumptown coffee. If it was one of your friends, it would be the one who starts his sentences with "I get what you're saying, but..."
Oh.
I guess congratulations are in order for Nolan managing to unite high-brow male critics and very annoying people on Twitter under a common bromance, but to me, Dunkirk felt like an excuse for men to celebrate maleness—which apparently they don't get to do enough.
Oh.
I might as well ask again- how did the packaging and general vibe promote this idea of “men-only?” How does Dunkirk feel like an excuse for men to celebrate maleness? Why are the men (and only men) who like Dunkirk, douche bros?
Bonner does not go on to explain.
Fine, great, go forth, but if Nolan's entire purpose is breaking the established war movie mold and doing something different—why not make a movie about women in World War II? Or—because I know that will illicit cries of "ugh, not everything has to be about feminism, ugh!"—how about any other marginalized group?
Because that’s not Nolan’s idea of “breaking the established war movie mold.” In Nolan’s other films, he focuses heavily on non-linear plots, among other things. Bringing that conception of plot to war movies does break the war movie mold. Taking out “men” and slotting in “women or other marginalized groups” to make a war movie does not break the war movie mold.
These stories shouldn't be relegated to indie films and Oscar season. It's up to giant powerhouse directors like Nolan to tell them, which is why Dunkirk feels so basic.
Here is a list of 10 films about women in wartime, by the British Film Institute. Here is Red Tails, a movie about the (all-black) Tuskegee Airmen, released in late January 2012 (after Oscar season), with a budget of 58 million dollars.
I agree there is a shortage of movies about the experiences of women and minorities in all time periods, but to charge Nolan with creating a movie that was “an excuse for men to celebrate maleness” because he didn’t focus on who Bonner wanted him to is ridiculous.
It's a summer war movie. It'll make you fear for the future and pray that we never fight again. You might get kind of sick. If you're like me, a random man will come up to you after and explain why you're wrong for disliking it. But this war movie isn't special. At the end of the day, it's like all the rest of them.
As a side point, I’m not sure how a random man could come up to you and explain why you’re wrong for disliking it- how would this random man know you disliked it?
Bonner’s conclusion, and article overall, is very weak. It spent some time discussing the movie, but also spent more time leveling ridiculous attacks at people who like the movie, mostly because they are men.
I’m conflicted, however, because I can somewhat see the reasoning underpinning Bonner’s complaints about “pretentious men.” There has always been a culture of male eliteness in filmmaking, and especially in film criticism, and for a movie like Dunkirk, helmed by one of the most successful directors in the world, it’s not surprising that such a culture would be on display. But none of Bonner’s article seems to be addressing that culture, and Bonner doesn’t handle the subject with any seriousness.
The article comes off as a way to bait other critics, especially male ones, into a session of “well you’re sexist because you can’t handle my opinion. har har isn’t the male ego so fragile?”
But what do I know? I’m a man, after all.
