First Impression: closed starter

@yunantheguardian Abdul yawned as he walked out of the tavern he'd been staying in. He really needed to get a better sleep pattern before he was scolded. Well, at least there didn't seem to be any black rhuk nearby. He could probably take a break. As the raven haired Magi walked down the street to find something to eat, he sensed a sudden surge in the rhuk. "What in the world...another person like me?" He muttered as he looked around for the source. Abdul had always heard of others like him: other Magi. Perhaps... Crimson eyes fell on the blonde figure walking a ways off and he suddenly felt a bit of excitement. Without thinking,he immediately ran over, grabbing his arm with a wide grin. "I never thought I'd meet any of the others!"

“ Ah Yunan, I want to thank you for all you’ve done for me. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be alive to see another day.” The blonde smiled at the magi, as his tone was sincere and grateful for preserving his body for the last three years.

He couldn’t quite get himself to wake up. Or was he awake already? Had he been asleep? Or had it been a memory of his own, or of one of the thousands of little thoughts swirling within the darker Rukh. Whatever it was, it had such a tight hold on him. His throat and chest were tight, and a vice of terror squeezed his head and into his emotions. The dissonance of white noise and his own feverish pulse blotted out his ability to focus on the soft warmth of hands cupping his cheeks.

It was in that moment that he realized he was drenched, with tears staining the corners of his tight lips.  “ Mmm- mn- nnn- n n --- “ He wanted to say more, but had any of that made sense? He felt as if it was less sounds, and not quite language. How was he going to tell Yunan that he couldn’t breathe if he couldn’t even speak? Shaking his head fervently, a hummed loud and long, hoping the other would forgive him for digging his fingers into his arms.

Dreams rarely meant anything. They were nothing more than your subconscious imagining certain scenarios that would never be allowed in reality - for the most part at least. It’s nightmares that reel Aladdin in, make him think and terrify him the most. Usually, it’s the same one over and over. The Medium. Both of his worlds. And failing. He’d watch as friend after friend would fall before his eyes and wake in a cold sweat. 

But tonight’s had been different, much harder to interpret. It hadn’t been the same failure, or even him for that matter. No, something told his conscious that this was far before his time. There’s only one face he recognizes, and he wholehearted wish he hadn’t. His body is lifeless, face dull and void of any emotion beyond the fear that had been bestow upon him by a sword. 

And then he wakes up. Panting and confused, Aladdin finds it hard to shrug off during his day, and luckily enough, his mind would be put at ease. The visit was unexpected, but not unwelcomed. In fact, he fights the urge to hug the magi tightly when he appears at his side, and Aladdin breaths out a sigh of relief.

“Brother Yunan!” His smile is far from fading as he finally reaches his friend. “I’m glad you decided to visit.”

i hit 150 followers pretty recently, and i figured it was time to make one of these snazzy things. this whole lost is full of people that are amazing, graceful writers that have both helped me better my own skills but have proven to be just as incredible of a friend. 

there’s two that stand out the most to me and have impacted my time in the Magi fandom so greatly i don’t think i would have stayed as long as i have if they weren’t here.

caira / @twistedblacksun           ↪ you are literally the light of my life. i could spent hours rping, talking and playing league with you and never get bored. you’ve given me a place to be and allowed my aladdin to grow past the sunshine boy and into a more mature character with numerous flaws. i cherish our friendship so much and honestly, it’s hard to imagine my life without you in it now. even if we’ve only known each other for a little over two months or so, i feel like you’re one of the closest and most amazing people i know. it always seem like no matter what characters we play, then end up being shipped and i contribute that to the fact that it’s just so easy to rp with you. we could literally have a thousand threads and it still wouldn’t be enough for me. i love you very much and hope that your life is as equally marvelous as you are. you are legit the best and i couldn’t have asked for a better rp partner to be honest.
