Yumcha Heroes in Berlin, Germany.

Yumcha (飲茶) “drinking tea”, is an ancient tradition in Chinese tea houses. Steamed or fried dumplings filled with meat, vegetables or seafood are served along with tea. Traditionally, one orders two or more portions of these small dishes are ordered to satisfy the appetite. We serve these classic dishes in new creations without the use of MSGs or preservatives.

Tag 15, Abendessen: Eine wirkliche Empfehlung: Yumcha Heroes am Weinbergsweg. Jede Menge superleckere Dumplings, Dim Sums und ähnliches. Quasi asiatische Tapas. Wunderbar zum teilen und probieren.

Diesmal habe ich mich an die vegetarischen Sachen gehalten, z.B. Steamed Vegetarian Roll (Reisblätterrolle – Glasnudeln, Ingwer, Zucchini, Karotten, Shiitake), Edamame (Gedämpfte grüne Sojabohnen mit grobem Meersalz), Green Veggie Dumplings (Glasnudeln, Zucchini, Shiitake, Bambus, Karotten, Koriander).

Und das Essen mit Stäbchen entschleunigt ungemein und lässt genug Zeit zum unterhalten und genießen.

Handcrafted dumplings in Mitte's Yumcha Heroes 飲茶

Hi guys! As promised today our food embassadors want you to meet Yumcha Heroes, a modern traditional fine Chinese spot next to Weinsberg Park.

I was there with a friend last week and we ordered many varieties of fried and steamed dumplings filled with delicious and original ingredients. My favorite, the Black Beef (Green Vegi if I were vegetarian :)). Before the dumplings we ordered the refreshing Fu Ling salad (I will not tell you any more details). We accompanied our food with Tiger beer and delicious tea.

A great place that fusions tradition and incredible creativity in the heart of Mitte! After your meal... enjoy a beautiful promenade in Weinbergspark and maybe sit down to see the stars on the grass!
