デザイナーは「全体は細部の集積である」と考えています。つまり、細部の１つ１つを疎かにすれば、全体も必然的に醜いものになる、ということです。1mm、1pxにこだわるデザイナーを愚かだと見なす向きもありますが、人が感動するプロダクトの多くはそうした細部へのこだわりの積み重ねで出来上がっていることが殆どだと思います。 (※細部にこだわるのは主に最終段階においての話。また、完璧なものを与えられるより、80点でも自分が参加して作ったものの方により価値を感じる「共創」時代の空気感には、デザイナーは注意が必要。)
