Wonderful Precure Episode 32 Review - Wonderfully Magically Heroically Relephant

I feel like this was more of an episode dedicated to the cameos than one filled with plot purposes. Don’t get me wrong. It’s still nice to see Iroha have some insight but it’s clearly an episode dedicated to the Precure cameos for the upcoming movie featuring Hirogaru Sky and Mahotsukai characters.

And as someone who adores Hirogaru Sky as my Precure gateway, I was super stoked to see the cast again! I feel like it’s an epilogue of the story. It does feel like the Hirogaru cast are there for summer vacation. I am amused by the idea that Ellee got in as a baby so the gang don’t have to pay extra money as she’s seen in her teenaged self in the Quokka area. I also liked the Underg Empire cameos too. I wonder if the man at the reptile section is Skearhead? Human Battamonda can be see in the corner where the Mahotsukai girls are. I’ve never seen Mahotsukai; is it good?

Enough about the cameos, the episode is just little filler but it does give some insight to Iroha. The reason why she loves animals so much and wants to befriend them is due to her befriending the oldest elephant in the zoo, Sakura. Seeing the way the elephant touched her cheek as a kid was the reason her love for animals began. I think it’s really nice to see where it all started for her.

Zakuro shows up hating the fact that animals are confined in a zoo so she possesses Sakura. However, she should be blessed by the fact that the other Precures did NOT show up. Oh boy, who would’ve known what would’ve happened if Cure Sky shows up. Though, I was glad that the cameos did not transform as this is Wonderful Precure and not Hirogaru/Mahotsukai. They got their fun; it’s the Wonderful gang’s time in the spotlight. I’m also a bit curious on what Zakuro said about not finding a good man in the zoo. Since she’s basically a humanoid wolf, is she only attracted to animals? It also makes me wonder if Komugi and Yuki are attracted to fellow canine and felines or if they’re just too used to their owners.

I think the cameos and the smaller details like Satoru having a membership pass and Yuki petting a rabbit off-screen was super cute. I think it was a nice respite of an episode. What did you like about this one?
