ℍ𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕔𝕒𝕟𝕠𝕟 / đ•đ•–đ•Łđ•€đ•–
This is more me thinking out loud than anything else but I was going over all the clan’s members for the Purebloods, thinking over their strengths and abilities and I started thinking over who were the strongest ones (currently) within the clans and I came up with a list for them. This is not including the original two vampires (Bryony and Dionysus). I guess these are headcanons too, so I’ll tag them accordingly.
Tumblr media
Kyoko is the strongest when it comes to just straight power. Her mother called her the Little Pheonix when she was still alive but her flames are such a force to be reckoned with that they are almost on the levels of a god. At the same time, this woman is the the leader of the clans yet she has very little control over her powers. Though she’s gotten far better at it as of late.
Tumblr media
Takahashi is the strongest when it comes to catastrophic power. His ability is space, time, and dimensional manipulation. If he uses his powers and makes even the smallest mistake, it could completely upset the balance of the entire world, their dimension or time itself. The smallest of things could cause the end of their dimension as they know it so instead Takahashi will do everything he can to avoid using his powers.
Tumblr media
When it comes to simply their combat strength, the strongest would be Emi. Her skills are unrivaled among the clans, everything she does she just seems to have a natural talent for. She has learned every type of fighting style there is and she fights with ferocity yet at the same time has this gracefulness to her that no one else can seem to even get close to. Her ability is telepathy yet it’s not the strongest form of it, her brother having the better part of it than her so she relies more on hand to hand combat for most things.
Tumblr media
Then there is the one who has the deadliest power when it comes to their own kind. That would Kaname. His power is more demonic in nature than anything of any of the vampires. Instead of his eyes turning red when he transforms, they grow completely black except for the iris, his fangs are much thicker and longer, strikingly similar to that of a lycanthropes fangs (which is another reason he scares them). His skin will turn black from his fingertips to his forearms, and then over the rest of his body, these black veins will appear all across his pale white skin and one his hands these long claws will form. Both his claws and his fangs are deadly to every single creature he has ever used them on, even the vampires themselves. He has the ability to see in the dark and his eyes will turn gold with the pupils becoming nothing more than slits just like a cat. There isn’t a thing about him that makes them think he is a Pureblood other than the fact that he was born to them and his blood clearly smells of one. Thus making him one of the two vampires the clans fear the most.
Tumblr media
Lastly, we have the one with a nearly limitless power. Yuka has the ability to leach someone else’s power simply through touch. Now, usually that’s only a temporary thing but for her it’s permanent. Just the smallest touch and she has already learned a small portion of whatever ability you have. The more often you make contact with her, the stronger that power becomes until it’s strength matches that of your own and can only exceed yours if she actually trains with it. There is no limit to the number of powers she can learn, half the ones she does have at the moment she doesn’t even realize she has them until it’s too late and her emotional instability causes her to lose control of them, the power suddenly appearing out of nowhere. Plus, if she ever decides to try and learn how to properly use the abilities she has learned, the chances of her expanding it past even the one she learned it from are extremely high she just never does. She’s afraid of what happens when she tries to use them so she bottles them up inside of her instead. At the moment, there are at least 35 known abilities that she has, but there are still so many more she hasn’t discovered and so many more she will learn over time.

The vampires and preferences. Taken from @arcxnumvitae and @thewolfisawake. I’ve also written out who is taken relationship-wise just to make sure it’s not confusing.
Megane: What isn’t this woman into? Pretty much everything and anything. She literally is the furthest from picky you can get and is the literal definition of pansexual. Men, women, any gender, any species, she’s the type to find something attractive about everyone.
Haru: Women with an attitude. A woman who isn’t afraid to tell him no. Confidence, long dark hair with no particular preference on a color other than that. He likes a woman with style, someone who can take his BS and fire it right back. A baker is a huge selling point since he has such a big sweet tooth. And he’s definitely not into a woman who shows too much skin, funnily enough. He does actually like some modesty in that department and keeping certain things to the imagination until they’ve gotten to that point.
Minami: Intelligence, a man who can give her a challenge in some way shape or form. She has what usually comes off as a harsh and severe type of personality, can be quite controlling and is a bit of a neat freak so they’d have to be able to handle that with ease. Mystery is a big seller for her though because she’s so used to knowing mostly everything that when she comes across someone or something she doesn’t know or can’t figure out she’s instantly intrigued.
Seto: He isn’t a sexually active man and isn’t really interested in becoming one. But if he were, it’d likely be with someone soft and caring, but still confident and strong. He’s got a thing for good voices and no particular preference for men or women. At the same time, he doesn’t like anyone who talks too much because he really enjoys the quiet and peaceful times.
Kensei: Strong and fierce warrior type women. Holy crap can he be weak to soldiers. Especially when she’s actually in a uniform. Skills with a weapon of any kind, good training, someone who knows how to show respect where it’s deserved and demands the same in return. Confidence but without it being overbearing.
Vasilios (unavailable): Long dark hair, coy smiles, flirty personalities, and intense eyes. He’s never had any preference of one gender over another but he does prefer thicker women, whether that’s simply curves or even those with some weight on them. Bigger girls. Men though he likes lean and fit. But more so than anything he likes a battle for dominance. Whether he ends up the dominant one or submissive doesn’t matter nearly as much as the fight itself. Plus he is hypersexual and shit if someone can match his urges, needs, and stamina then man is he in heaven.
Raiden: Women. Women. Women. Gosh, he’s far from picky. Cute girls, gorgeous girls, badass girls, dorky girls. It doesn’t matter because Raiden will find every girl he meets to be utterly beautiful in their own right. Which of course means he’s sexually attracted to them too.
Ariadne: While she prefers men more, she isn’t against women on the subject. She likes height, attitude, someone who can take her fiery personality and deal it right back. She also seems to prefer humans more so than not. But other than that there isn’t a lot she’s shown interest in.
Zephyr: Zephyr is a lover and a fighter but boy is he such a huge sap of a lover too. Big gestures, lots of teasing, old school courting type stuff gets him the most. He likes to banter, someone with a big heart and a playful side. And man he has the hots for the motherly types. Women with thick curves, nice thighs, big chests but a thoughtful and caring smile but eyes that speak of wisdom and experience. Men with more athletic builds, nice hair and a charming personality.
Odette: I don’t really know for sure with her but I think she’d prefer someone gentle. Someone she feels she can trust. She does prefer men, she’s had quite a few bad times with women before and doesn’t trust them as easily. But I don’t think she even knows what she’s attracted to since she’s never really been given the chance to explore it.
Shiori (taken): Assholes. Fuck she loves someone with an attitude, a smart mouth, and a good smirk. I mean, technically I’d think she’d have an easier time with women considering her past with men. Sarcasm, someone with a violent streak who can handle her.
Ichirou (taken): Strong, confident, independent women. Women with goals and priorities. Stylish women with curves that could break his neck from looking back. There’s just something utterly entrancing about a woman who doesn’t need anyone else.
Yuka (taken): Never really had a preference in most ways, but she likes revealing eyes, charming smiles. Oh yeah and nice voices with really good accents. She likes someone who she can talk to, feels comfortable with. And she definitely has a thing for taller people and thick hair.
Ayame (taken): someone who is calming, feels safe. Someone with a bright smile and this warmth that makes her feel alive. Musically talented in any way is a huge bonus for her. Someone with a relatively sunny disposition and affectionate. Adventurous personalities but nothing that overbearing personality wise like overly confident or self-assured. Someone with a warm and gentle presence.
Liam (unavailable): Sexual wise, Liam is far from picky. Generally, because he uses such things as a distraction more than anything else. But preference wise he does seem to have a thing for the unusual ladies. One he can’t quite understand and ones that take him by surprise. He’s a leg man and loves long legs and creamy thighs and can be so easily ruined when that’s used against him. Short skirts, heels, tight jeans, a nice rear, boy he’ll fall apart at the seams if she has a sexy walk too.
Kaname: No clue! Kaname is still a mystery to me. I know physical attraction is possible and that there’s no particular preference but he is like the image of Demisexual and won’t feel attraction in the slightest until a bond is formed.

Yuka is a Pureblood vampire born into the second line of the main clan. She has no birthright to the throne nor would she ever want it. Her strange ability set her apart from the rest of the clan, her being the only one with more than one power and the clans do not know the source. They were never able to figure out that she copies with touch because the powers typically don't manifest right away. They take time to develop and usually only make themselves known during stressful situations where her emotions aren't in check.
She is a very small girl who loves to read by the fire while snow falls gently just outside the window. She loves the cold, loves to go skiing or snowboarding, building snowmen and pretty much anything to do with snow. She generally keeps to herself and it very quiet but once you get to know her you will realize that she can be a bit feisty but very affectionate.

Facts about my vampires
Purebloods do not need to drink blood.
Only changed vampires, halfbloods, and certain fullbloods need to consume blood to survive.
The consumption of blood by any vampire gives them a sudden and temporary boost in their abilities, strength, and speed.
Blood consumed by a Pureblood runs the risk of them developing Blood Lust, or simply put, an addiction to the blood which can drive them mad, cause death by overconsumption, and the usual effects you’d see from someone with an addiction.
Vampires typically don’t drink from other vampires, to them, it is a form of cannibalism though there have been instances where a Pureblood with Blood Lust or a changed vampire who has gone rogue drinks from their own kind.
Each Pureblood has one specific magical/special ability. For example, Haru has the ability to manipulate water, Minami has weather manipulation, Ayame has the power to boost others abilities, strengths, and even awaken powers that have not manifested yet simply by being around her.
The clans have blood banks set up all over the world to make sure that the changed vampires have ways to stay fed and have easy access to these places.
Those same banks also have systems set up to help any vampire who needs help for anything including but not limited to legal papers, identification such as driver licenses, records, to even creating them an entirely new identity.
Vampires can easily pick up different scents in a person’s blood from telling exactly what they are to knowing whether they are diseased, have been drinking or on drugs, etc.
All vampires have their normal human form that you see every day but they also have their released vampire form. Their eyes change to red, their fangs appear and look more like a snake’s fangs rather than the expected vampire fangs and their strength, speed, and all-around physical abilities increase 2-5 times more than when in their human form (2 typical for changed vampires, up to 5 times for fullbloods and Purebloods).
While all vampires are immortal, it doesn’t mean they can’t be killed, it’s just an extremely difficult task to accomplish.
Vampires were originally created by a deal made with Hades and a man that begged for him to bring back his dead wife and son who died during the plague of Athens. When they came back, they were what we now consider the first two Purebloods.
Only Bryony and Dionysus, the first two vampires, can create another Pureblood by biting them. Anyone they change will become a Pureblood rather than a changed vampire.
They can see their reflections.
They are not weak to holy water, silver, wooden stakes, sunlight, and other such cliche vampire myths.
While their healing is incredibly quick and strong, there is a limit to what it can do. Push hard enough for long enough and eventually, it will wear out.
The fastest way to kill a vampire is by beheading them. Good luck trying though.
Either that or continuously hurting them/forcing them to bleed until their healing abilities can no longer sustain them.
All vampires have extremely sensitive and heightened senses, as would be expected. This can be used against them with particularly strong smells, loud noises, and bright lights.
If a vampire that requires blood to survive does not feed like they should they lose themselves to their own hunger and when that happens they can end up killing anyone and everyone around them until their hunger is satisfied and they regain control again.
During the transition of a vampire being in control to the hunger taking over, you’ll see a new side to them before the final phase (when they completely lose control). That side is more like a predator, they will toy and play with their “meal” and while they are aware enough to know what is happening during this time, they still don’t have control. The final phase is them blacking out and simply attacking and they won’t remember what happened once they are back in control.
A vampire cannot bite a lycanthrope because their blood is toxic to all vampires. This is also one of the main reasons that hybrids are extremely rare, their DNA is specifically meant to kill the vampire gene.
The only known cure for vampirism is in the hands of the Atlantians which is nearly impossible to get or a version of diluted Lycan blood but this one is extremely risky because it has a higher chance to kill the vampire rather than make them human.
Breaking a vampire’s neck won’t kill them but it will knock them out. It takes time for a major injury like that to heal and can take several hours. This is also the most common way to stop a changed vampire who is losing themselves to their hunger.
The Purebloods from a very young age are trained in a variety of things from several different offensive and defensive fighting styles, the use of varying weapons, to having endured torture for the sake of enhancing their pain tolerance.
Every Pureblood is also taught nearly every common language and even some that aren’t very common for the sake of being able to manage a situation no matter who it’s with or where they are though the main language they speak in is Japanese (even if most are of Greek heritage) and they are good at concealing their accent should they feel the need to.
Alcohol, drugs, medication, poisons and other such things don’t really have any effect on the vampires unless they consume an insanely large amount. But even then things such as poisons won’t work because their blood works to break it down and destroy it before it can hurt them. The only thing that helps (at least alcohol wise) is something called God’s Kiss. It’s an alcohol that is consumed by most of the Greek gods with magical qualities that allow them to be able to feel its effects without running the risk of actually causing any harm.

When the clans first started, there was eight main clans total with four of them residing over the rest. Over time, mostly due to the war between them and the Lycanthropes, their numbers severely dwindled down to only the four higher clans remaining. Those four clans are:
The Minori’s
This is the head of all the clans, where their main leader resides and controls all of the rest. They set the laws, give out the punishments to any who break them and make all of the decisions. Nothing happens without their say. The current head of this clan is Kyoko Minori who after leading a rebellion against her father, changed things for the better. No more arranged marriages, no more death sentences for every law broken, no more selling their own kind for the sake of power and money. The rebellion cost them a great many lives but they won and accomplished what they set out to do.
The Nishimora’s
The second line that at this point has nearly died out. Most were lost during the rebellion, either by refusing to side with their new leader or dying while fighting. The current head of this clan is Ichirou Nishimora who eventually gives up his immortality to live a normal life with the family he has waiting for him. Once Ichirou leaves, there will be no one left to take over and the clan will officially die out leaving only the three clans behind. This was the clan that was in charge of tracking down rogue vampires and the wanted criminals of their kind.
The Yamazaki’s
The third clan line that while their numbers are still high, their clan has fallen into disrepair. Their current leader is Minami Yamazaki and she is their last hope to getting this clan back up on their feet from all of the scandals, drama, and incidents that taint their family name. However, the state she is currently in, it’s not likely she’ll be able to manage that any time soon. This clan was in charge of the inner workings of the clans. Tending to their own private business such as setting up deals, meetings, arrangements, and most what people would call HR to the average person or even a clan specifically set up as the Minori’s personal assistants.
The Kuranagi’s
The final of the main clans remaining. This one's current leader is Hisato Kuranagi (Kensei’s father) and this clan is in charge of infiltrations, concealment, recovery, and cleaning up any of the messes caused by a member of their kind. From erasing records, infiltrating governing properties, all the way down to payoffs and other such things, they are in charge of making sure their existence doesn’t become common knowledge and they keep a member on the inside of every power structure in the world to maintain their control.
There is one other clan currently but they are not one of the four noble families. This clans name is:
The Nakamura’s
This clan while it holds no actual power or say in any of the work involving the other clans, is really only in charge of those hired by the clans such as servants and any other staff used by them. From maids and butlers to chefs, personal servants, tailors, and much more. They keep them in line and train them on how to beat accomplish their jobs as well as making sure they are properly tended to and kept fed since most of the staff consists of changed vampires.

The Rebellion
In light of the fact that I won’t likely be able to write these events up, I’ve made a list of what will take place during the rebellion so that it’s known when the muse suddenly changes and why it happened.
Under read more for length
Tumblr media
Ichirou will end up saving his sister Emi from near death by taking a blow intended for her instead. Because of this, he gets decapitated and though they manage to get his head back before he actually dies, he is left with a rather deep scar across his neck.
Tumblr media
Emi, even after being saved by Ichirou that time, will end up dying at the hands of Rin (the wife of Akio, the current head of the clans), who happens to be a hybrid, half vampire and half lycanthrope. While typical Lycans don’t have the venomous bite while in their human form, her as a hybrid has that deadly bite even when not transformed and she bites Emi, injected her with the Lycan venom and killing her. It’s a quick death but excruciatingly painful. So Emi is now only a temporary muse until her death.
When Ichirou becomes human to be with his girlfriend and found family, with Emi already dead that leaves no one left of the first Nishimora line so the second line will become the first and since their first born, Kaito, is also already dead it will go to Hayate to become the next leader of the Nishimora clan. I will be writing up a bio for Hayate soon enough.
Tumblr media
With the rebellion raging on, Ayame’s fiancĂ© Mason will come to fear the win of the younger generation and believe his only way of keeping the deal with the clans intact is by taking Ayame and using her against them. He hires a bounty hunter to find her and snatch her away, using her friends Meg and Aspis as leverage to get her to listen and she waits for the right time to strike as Meg and Aspis search for her and ends up killing Mason so he can never threaten her friends again.
Tumblr media
During a battle, Minami and Maiko are outnumbered and to save Minami, Maiko ends up dying in Minami’s arms and the emotional strain on Minami’s powers causes her to lose control and ends up killing the ones they were fighting. Due to this, Minami a period where it’s like she’s lost. Locking herself up within the library and away from everyone because Maiko was like a daughter to her.
Tumblr media
Raiden almost dies during the rebellion and ends up with a scar very similar to Ichirou’s though the one who had caused it didn’t have the chance to finish so it only reaches across 3/4 of his neck before he hit the enemy with a deadly bolt of lightning. Kyoko loses not only her father but her sister Takara as well during the rebellion to add to the mother she lost all those years ago.
Tumblr media
Yuka will get injected with diluted Lycan blood which is one of the only weaknesses the Purebloods have. Instead of causing a quick death, it weakens them drastically, makes them extremely ill with the possible effects of death if they aren’t strong enough to handle it and if they are, they can become human as the Lycan blood kills off the vampire gene. Because of this she also becomes human.
Tumblr media
Haru who is hit with hallucination magic ends up believing that Yuka is an enemy attacking him and very nearly kills her while she is already mortal and severely ill. He remains with her until she finally gets better (the time for her to heal is anywhere from weeks to months) and then he disappears without a trace.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Asame and Shiori run off with Shiori’s boyfriend Ren and their friend Samir to hide out until the rebellion is over and try to set Shiori’s memories back the way they were before Ichirou was forced to change them to make her into the perfect housewife for Takahashi.
Tumblr media
Asuga is placed in charge of finding Shiori and Asame and he ends up giving false and misleading information back to the clans to avoid their capture but Akio finds out about it and has Azuma kill him and, because she was supposed to meet up with Asuga to discuss what was happening, Asame bore witness to the entire thing but she knew she had no chance of fighting someone as strong as Azuma and knew that confronting him would only put the rest of her friends at risk so she did the only thing she could think of and instead ran and the guilt weighs heavily upon her.
Tumblr media
Eriko receives some pretty bad scars on the right side of her body and ends up having to cut her hair after she ends up in a battle against her close friend Kagome from the Yamazaki clan who uses her deflection magic to send Kyoko’s flames back on them. Eriko shoves her brother Kensei out of the way and takes the full brunt of the flames.
Tumblr media
Kensei, under the control of Ruka’s (Ichirou’s mother) mind control, turns on his own team and kills his younger brother Ryota. Eriko (before the attack on her with Kagome) manages to land a blow harsh enough to knock Kensei out of her control and they end up killing Ruka in return but because of the injuries Eriko received saving him and the death of his little brother at his own hands, Kensei ends up breaking down and it takes him a very long time before he can manage his duties once more but even then he’s not the man he was before.

💯 Shiori, Ichirou, Lyrica, Yuka, and Lucien yeahhh I'm hitting all of them
Headcanons [ @for-a-prxce ] Accepting
💯 What is my muse’s ideal date?
Tumblr media
Depends on which version your asking. Current memory wipe Shiori would say a nice dinner out with good conversation and maybe a cheek kiss at the door if it went well enough (not counting the whole married to Takahashi thing). Normal Shiori may have teased Ren about going on dates but she never would have felt them actually necessary other than to sate her curiosity since she’d never been on them before and to see Ren dress up. To her, the perfect date would be a meal with him at his apartment, going to the carnival again where they can have some real fun and be competitive or a festival of some sort. Things like that where they can be themselves and just enjoy it.
Tumblr media
Ichirou? My hopeless romantic? His idea of the perfect date would be one where he completely made the other swoon at every turn. His go to is a series of things though. A lovely dinner in cooked by him or out to a very nice restaurant, a walk under the stars, dessert back at his place or hers that he likely made himself with some wine or champagne, some dancing, and depending on how far into the relationship they are, massages, bubble baths and likely much more.
Tumblr media
Anything that gives her your full attention. Whether that be a nice dinner where she gets to enjoy the sight of her boyfriend all dressed up but also know he’s enjoying her dressed up just as much to staying in, cuddling, eating whatever food they picked up. She’s honestly not picky just so long as she has your full attention.
Tumblr media
If you actually ask Yuka, she’d say anywhere Arata wants to go is her ideal date and that every day is like a date when it comes to him. And to be honest, it’s really not that far off. She’s very flexible with such things and generally just likes a meal shared between them, if anything I’d say she’d prefer staying in that way she can be as affectionate as she wants without worrying about prying eyes because to her, the cuddling, kissing, and affectionate gestures are what truly make it a good date.
Tumblr media
Lucien
with an ideal date? I’m pretty sure Lucien has never even considered what he’d like as a date, it’s mostly just about what he thinks Kat would like. He doesn’t care about dates, feels sometimes they are overrated and yet he’s more than willing to do them for her. Honestly, he’s happy just getting her to cook for him and having a few drinks.

What is Your Keyblade?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Is this supposed to suit me?” Maybe having lightning as her element does but uh.... yeah.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thrill of adventure? Yup, definitely sounds like Asame. And she really likes that it’s a harp too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The fact that her physical power, durability and attack range is the highest points really is fitting for Yuka. Embracing fate though? That thought almost makes her want to curse (which she rarely ever does) and say fuck fate because if she embraced her fate, in her eyes she wouldn’t have Arata right now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Protecting her friends? The element being light? Even the deer keychain? Gosh, pretty sure this is very much a keyblade for Solene in every sense.

Yuka is actually a pretty active girl and tends to enjoy going on early morning runs, playing tennis, ice skating and dancing. And, being the girl that she is, she always dresses accordingly as well from wearing those cute little tennis skirts or yoga pants/shorts while running and even fully decked out in skating outfits. She loves doing each of those and doesn’t do anything halfway. If she’s going to do any of it, she is going to look her cutest while she does.
