Happy New Year! So... My friend is pretty drunk right now and I'm probably too, but we have this little debate about the German language we have in Germany and you in Austria. What we wanted to know is what are chanterelle and potatoes called Austria? We call them Pfifferling and Kartoffel.

Okay so tbh I had to google what chanterelle are and now that I saw a picture I gotta say that I don’t really eat mushrooms, so I’m not ENTIRELY sure - but they looks like what we call “Eierschwammerl” here! 

And I personally just call potatoes “Kartoffel” as well - but if you live on the country side in Austria you call them “Erdäpfel”. So you hear both “Kartoffel” and “Erdäpfel” here, but depending on where you live one is more common than the other one

I hope that helps a bit lol - it’s really interesting how different a language can be depending on the country!

They were at a very fancy restaurant and KyuHyun was watching YeSung eat, without paying attention to him. He was so annoyed he hadn’t touched his food. 

The young man growled and stood up abruptly, he didn’t care people was staring at him. “Why haven’t you proposed to me yet?”

“Hm?” YeSung finally looked up from his food and coughed as he tried not to choke. “Baby Kyu, sit down.” He mumbled a little flushed.

“No! We’ve been together for 10 years! Why haven’t you asked me to marry you?” 

YeSung sighed and got on his knees taking out a small box from his jacket. “You dork, I was going to do it tonight. I had everything prepared.” The oldest smiled and showed him the ring.

KyuHyun stared at him with red cheeks and just nodded furiously.
