Unpopular opinion: that promo pic in the locker room was not at all deceiving for me. They are 'opposed' to each other in it. They are leaning towards each other, but there's a barrier between them. Even though we see Wille smiling, they are not looking at each other tenderly. Wille is hovering, Simon is defending himself... it's very telling for me

ok! daniel and charles and vegas!!! first of all here is an outstanding investigation by @reigningmax. you'll find the photo evidences in there

out of nowhere during summer break 2019, daniel and a freshly-off-rookie-year charles showed up in vegas together (they were spotted clubbing)

this was unexpected bc they weren't known to hang out (i was told. i wasn't here until last yr lol) apparently it wasn't planned. they were both in vegas at the same time so decided to spend time together

the trip apparently went well bc later in october they shared a plane ride that yielded these instagram stories (see below)

daniel later said in an interview that charles was 'vulnerable to peer pressure' so vacationing w/ charles was fun. and since we have no idea what really happened in vegas we can only ask WTF DO YOU MEAN BY THAT DANIEL????

anyway i got into rezero in summer of 2020!! this was months before s2 started airing and by around this time there was just s1, s1 directors cut may or may not have been out?? i forgor :<, but then s2’s first teaser came out right about now.

it was quarantine…. i was bored one day and wanted smth new to watch… and by then id only really briefly seen rezero—like you know that s1 promo poster with subaru standing there while surrounded by some of the main girls in s1 (beatrice felt emilia rem ram)?? yeah id seen that. in the back of my mind i kinda assumed the show was just another one of those abt a dude surrounded by his harem of girls or smth?? :< but then i learned the Real Premise is the time travel. via death!!!! and ive always loveddd angst and whump so i was like “NO FUCKING WAY I HIT THE JACKPOT” and eagerly looked into rezero some more to see if it was worth watching. and then i saw all the shit reviews on rz that never seemed to agree on if it was good or not…… and then gigguk’s video…… and then i saw mother’s basement on youtube make a defense of rezero s1 and i was like!!! ok fuck it im watching this show. i want the angst i want the complex time travel shit. i think id spoiled myself on a couple of subarus deaths by this point trying to decide if i should commit to rezero and then i started binge watching s1!! esp when i was like ok this is a good time to get into it s2 was announced right??

anyway i got hooked on rezero fr 👍👍 the first s1 emisuba lap pillow had me quaking in my boots ;-;;; and i was already invested from ep1 bc i liked the characters a lot already!!! i am simply BUILT DIFFERENT i loved subaru from day one!!! by the royal selection episodes ofc i was dying of secondhand embarrassment but tbh i grew even more invested in rezero after that!! i was and still am super impressed that the narrative had the balls to have subaru fuck up sooo so so bad there. like seeing that emisuba argument and the julisuba duel for the first time was crazyyy. the conflict was really good and the latter s1 development…. woagh.

and then you know i finish s1 and i immediately get to researching how to read, i read arc 4’s wn and bawl my eyes out from the sheer amount of rollercoaster both the emotions and Long Ass Novel gave me (yes i was bawling my eyes out at parent and child) (yes i was bawling my eyes out at choose me) (yes i was bawling my eyes out for all the suffering loops) (yes i was bawling) (i have no clue how i read all those pages fr like that arc is massive), i speedrun arc 5, i accidentally spoil certain bits for myself (arc 6 stuff), i read most of arc 6 in spurts, tune in every week for s2 (and bawled my eyes out seeing the s2 part 1 op for the first time) etc etc!! one thing lead to another and now i am here…….. three yrs in this fandom… nearly (?) a yr being active on rezero tumblr… HAH

also i made a reddit account back inn…. 2020 or 2021 bc i wanted to be a tinyyy bit active in rezero reddit (this was half a mistake btw. i think i have more balls of steel now but my younger self was sooooo naive. shaking them by the shoulders. this is an anime fandom!!!!!! and this is reddit!!! whatre u expecting???? i am less shy now on the internet thats for sure!!). anyway im still a tiny bit active on rz reddit now after not touching it for like a year. now i use my reddit account for spreading otto propaganda and slander /lh …../hj

but anyway ive never been active in fandoms until rezero and thats bc id usually lurk and a lot of my past hyperfixation medias were :< big fandoms :<<< but then. ok im a fanfic enjoyer and i didnt write much fanfic or publish fic at all before this fandom but then in 2020 after watching s1 i checked rezero’s ao3 page and *sniffles* *sobs* thERE WAS ONLY LIKE 2 PAGES ON THERE MAN….. A WHOLE DESERT…. yes and then one thing lead to another and now there is more fic and also ig id be considered an english fic writer elder maybe…… i started posting in like fall/winter 2020? and maaaan im one of the only ppl from that era whos still posting i think!!! ive seen the entire english fanfic scene pop up!! ive participated in a bunch of community events… sooo wild to think about. i feel old guys!!!

but now i have gotten more and more active in the rz fandom yes :3 its been fun!! rezero is very important media to me and ive met lots of cool people in my time here :) when october 2024 rolls around itll be s3 time (AAAAA HYPE HYPE HYPE) and like four yrs of me being in this fandom?? its wild but my lifes genuinely changed a lot bc of me getting into rezero!! met lots of cool people… made pals… gotten my writing and art out there and improved on it via. large amounts of rezero fanart HAH.. became more unhinged.. etc etc :D even got to meet one of my buddies i met via rezero irl 👍👍 more irl crossover events will happen i swear.

also gigguk in my eyes redeemed himself for his old rezero skit vid by making a glowing review for rezero s2 with his pals. i can forgive him i suppose :<<<

in conclusion: idk if i count as a fandom elder but i sure have a lot of my own fandom lore pfft :<<<

about the bloody fingers debate and whether it's edvin or not:

let me assure you those are not edvin's fingers lmao. there are many many scenes of yr and also just many random pictures of him where you can very easily gauge the size of his fingers/hands. his fingers are way bigger than that 😭. (just check the morning after scene in 1x05 of yr and you'll know it's true) another thing is that from her caption you can tell the incident happened to her, it kinda seems like she's giving 'advice' so it's from a personal experience for sure. so it's definitely not edvin with the bloody hand.

about the jacket, I have absolutely no idea. but I will tell you some of the photos she's posted are not recent at all. the second to the last photo (where she's smiling like a normal human being for once) is from more than a month ago. it's from a costume party (similar to the wig party in s2) that hedvig went to a month ago (sep 21st to be exact) and from the photos posted you couldn't see felicia back then but this confirms she was there. she also still has eyebrows in that picture, when we know by sep 29th she had bleached them; so that photo is from 5 weeks ago.

even if that is edvin's jacket, (which we don't know, I doubt anyone in here has a master's degree in her wardrobe) that could be from september just like the other photo was. maybe they were still together back then. maybe it's her own jacket. who knows?

I think there are way too many signs that suggest they're not together anymore, edvin's trip to the us being the most obvious one. I know people say edvin's trip was a work thing and that's why he didn't take felicia, but that's not a good enough excuse for me I'm sorry. the day edvin went to nyc, felicia's bestie (beatry) was there. she actually lives part time there and works there. in fact bc of a comment she'd made under her post ppl thought felicia is definitely going with edvin, but we know she didn't. while edvin was busy with work she could've just met her best friend. also let's be serious, edvin most likely didn't do any 'work' in nyc. he just saw kit and chilled for the most part. and ever since he's been in la, he's been having meetings and castings yes but we can see he's also essentially on a semi vacation and he knew it before he went. it could easily be a chance for them to just travel together ESPECIALLY when sigge mj and co are already there anyway and edvin is living at mj's house now too (tho he didn't plan to obviously). also she has no jobs. there's nothing holding her back bc she has commitments in sweden. isak, hugo and zed are also currently in nyc. like there are soooo many ppl she could essentially spend time with and meet being there while edvin was busy with his own thing and she still didn't come. (I'm not even mentioning her ground breaking project with nowell that she's working on that she could work on in la)

if they were still together she'd most likely know edvin is meeting kit. there's no way that woman would lose the opportunity to gain some clout from him (edvin gained 27k followers after that story mind you!) if she knew she can. her suddenly spending time with and posting her friends, particularly male friends, is also another sign. going to a shit ton of malte's concerts and malte related events is also another sign. and all these stuff are just from the past 2 weeks. capri felt odd, no photo dumps, not a single picture of edvin and felicia in the same room together having dropped for more than 7 weeks, the whole nike situation, edvin's comments for her completely lacking their usual obnoxiousness, him not posting the link to vote for her for rising star, edvin back to being obsessed with omar and down bad for him under his posts... do you reallyyyyyy think he'd ever act like this while still being in a relationship with her when you guys have been accusing him of ruining duo promo for months bc he wanted to protect felicia's ego or sth?.... I could go on and on. everything that we have that Suggests they may be together is from freaks saying they saw them at malte's concert and now from a picture where she might be wearing edvin's jacket and it's unclear when the photo is even from.

we can't be sure. I doubt we'll be sure in a very long time bc edvin has no projects that are gonna premiere before next year june which means he's essentially not obligated to do any interviews until then. which means no questions about his dating life for at least another 6 months. and let's be honest he can very easily not go to guldbaggen or gay gala (that is if anything of his even gets nominated in the first place). i don't think felicia would be back to her normal self and edvin would act like an independent human being if they were still together. there are way too many hints that they've broken up for me to get stuck on the fact that might have been in the same malte concert when we know even omar has been to one of them recently at the same time as felicia. even if it's true, it could be just that. them chilling at a bar. just being friendly.

he's not gonna unpin those posts until either he fr gets a role in the us within the next few weeks/months and pins that or promo era for 28 years later or alw starts and that's months from now. this current situation is perfect for them. you can tell nothing is the same, but at the same time there's nothing that obligates them to speak about their dating life. so they can just go on with their lives and act supportive online and keep people believing that "they're just being private" and when finally the time comes and they (or just edvin really) have to admit that yeah 'we actually broke up' or "I'm single currently!" it'd be ages from when their actual break up had happened (literally the second promo for apoy was done). so they'd be able to make it look like 'oh we actually broke up almost a year after we hard launched 🥰' instead of having to admit to the world that they broke up the second it didn't serve felicia anymore and also after all the pr distasters they caused just so she gains an ounce of relevance. so yeah. I think they broke up, but they are and will be friendly and will try to keep people in the dark about whether they broke up or not but we can tell. a clear sign of break up now so soon after apoy and all that happened would confirm everything for the common masses. if the hate train was bad in summer, it'd get 10 times worse. keeling ppl in the dark until months and months passes and then confirming that yeah we broke up is good for both their images bc it'll make the break up look normal and that's what they need to get over this whole phase with the least damage.

people have said it’s teens who create all the discourse with the cast and Netty on twt and ig but a lot of us have abandoned twt and ig and went to discord because of how the yrtwt and igyr fans attack every thing. there are people with many names making it look like its alot. i know someone with 6 names on twt and 4 or 5 on ig. they spend all day begging for more content. there are more who do this too. tjese are the same pople attacked nurbo and always attack omar and edvin for changing their appearance.

most yr teens are happy with the show and the cast. we dont attack or harass people. it makes me sad that people think we're all unhappy with the S3 promos. we're mature enough to understand this is the final episodes and promotion will be unique. some people follow along with the discourse to follow the crowd and to seem important. thats just my opinion.

I know it's not all teen fans who behave this way. And I know that sometimes it's easier to just up and leave sometimes. I block people like it's my job. So, I'm glad you found a healthier fandom space for you. But I'm sad that people have to leave spaces because of this sort of behavior.

I wish adults who defend the behavior would understand this as well. That constant whining and complaining and entitlement pushes the reasonable fans out of the space, so then the space is filled with only the unreasonable; then when you're looking at the space, you think the majority of fans are unhappy. When in reality, those unhappy fans are a small slice of the whole.

What? When should Edvin talk about YR s3? When he was promoting completely different work? on social media where anything he says is attacked? when he was filming in another country? Let's be honest it wasn't Edvin that moved on from YR it was the YR fans that moved on from Edvin and it started when he criticized Wille's behavior in s2, the fans started acting like Edvin hated the character and the show.

I think it's mostly him stepping away from social media that makes people think he's emotikally detached and can't be bothered anymore. He was so active in 2021 and since then has been less and mess active. I think people miss how it was and it feels like Edvin has moved on and doesn’t care.

Edvin has also wrapped two projects since he finished Young Royals and he's working on a third. Naturally he's let go of Wille as a character. He's also played other characters before and let go of them. He played Linus Ek from age 12-18 and did 6 seasons for instance. It's part of his job.

Still, when promo starts I think we'll see him be as excited. He's worked so hard on Young Royals and on Wille. He's said so many times. He's also expressed before that he wants to show the audience that they have created. I'm not worried.

Although I think it’s sad that a big percentage of the yr fandom kind of has faded into a hibernation while waiting for s3, I also can’t seem to inspire myself to keep being hype and overanalyzing the same scenes over and over, and scream-cry-throwingup over the same GIFs while checking Twitter on my phone.

Cause I still remember how frustraiting and annoying (and straight up cruel) Netflix was during the time we were waiting for something (anything really) after s2 wrapped up. We got nothing. We weren’t even a part of tudum. Zero promotion, zero content for months. We only got Netflix Nordic on Twitter answering tweets with ‘👀’, making fans lose their shit only to get nothing, and I remember how angry I got at one point. I think 99% of yrtwt lost it at one point. (I mean it got so bad that Lisa had to stand up and shield the Netflix Nordic account) And I personally don’t want to ever be edged by Netflix (or any steaming site for that matter) to the point where I get angry and so pissed off over being treated like that.

I’ll go back to my old YR-fan-self when we actually get a promo, a trailer, pictures, a date for s3. Not Netlfix Nordic’s tasteless emoji tweets.

As someone who has been here before s2, I can maybe prepare you guys a little bit for what's to come. There was a constant surge of promo from Netflix, there was obviously the trailer but then the days before the premiere were crazy intense, they dropped more stills every day, they dropped different clips for different countries. There were multiple outlets that covered them like the infamous Gay Times shoot and the Vogue Skandinavia cover, each one did a lot of social media content too, Edvin and Omar and Lisa gave multiple interviews and podcasts. A few days before the season aired, the press embargo was lifted and the reviews came in. Prepare for spoilers at that point. It was almost too much. We were bombared with content, it was insane. And after it aired, there was a lot of Netflix content from multiple countries with cast and crew. They kept the hype going for weeks. We are in for a ride.

If yr's 2nd year anniversary is something to go by, Netflix won't go out of their way to promote the last season. And why would they? The series is officially over, there was no spike between fans gained after s2 compared to s1, the series stats after the 1st week were all below that of s1, there was no longevity, no buzz, low social media presence after the 1st week.

Those who liked and watched the first 2 seasons will tune in for the last one. Those who didn't probably have no interest in the show anyway and won't be like" mhhhh let's watch this series that debuted 2.5 years ago, I heard it'd the last season". People rarely do that. And netflix knows that. They have Edvin's movie coming soon after, that they'll need to start promoting that, which will have zara on which will be a focal point on promoting it, for recognicion.

From a business point of view they'll have no need to spend money on last season's promo, since the viewership numbers won't matter to them anymore, there will be no future seasons for fans to watch anymore. If the season is good, word of mouth will do it's job, just like s1, and unlike s2. So I don't expect netflix to promote the ending season much. Hope I'm pleasantly surprised, but the rational part in me is telling me that it won't happen

Spending all that money on the fan event for s3 promo was a forshadow. Not that a better promo would have made the ending better, it was just bad. But the fate was sealed when they decided they'll have fans watching it live with them in the room, there was no way that fanpleasing Lisa would have them not end together. But by making that last minute makeup, run after the car and run into the sunset cheesy cringy ending, and that made no sense to what happened in the entire season before btw, Lisa sealed their fate.I'm just getting mad thinking about the wasted opportunity she had to make the series a cult classic, s1 was popular just because it was good and word of mouth was good(and it was mostly because Rojda/Erika, the more Lisa was involved the less good it was). S2 while it had lots of flows too could still salvage the series if it was followed by a good s3 that actually followed the plot it was layd in the first 2 seasons. But no, Lisa decided to take the cheesy fanfic tropes and go full fanservice, good story be damned.and this is how we ended with the mess that was s3
