You guys know what's interesting about this post. I chose photos that ranged from painfully youthlike to someone with an air of quietness, beaten down on the surface and then gradually on the inside. All with a special charm that can only be described as Luke. And to this day I still get notes about how he's sunshine or how baby he is. Which I actually don't get mad about. Because he evokes that kind of intense rush that hijacks reason. The thought is very tickling

Mask? What Mask?

Pluto in the 1st house is deeply enigmatic. A meeting of eyes is like an inadvertent x-ray into your soul. These natives just know. And what they know, they never reveal. Nothing can be kept secret from this placement. You can run, but you can’t hide. There is an extreme sense of self awareness. A lot to digest in just a couple seconds of time. How those words implied how long this kid dabbled in these crooked circles of criminals and outlaws stretched out across the solar system to learn and partake of their offensive practices. Some concealed their crimes under the mercy of shadows grace, whereas others roamed throughout society in the light of day within plain sight, such ones utterly dangerous to lay a finger on that not even the I.S.S.P wouldn't dare attempt to apprehend. For a kid ( or pre-teen if he were to guess), Hal obviously had connections and possessed knowledge of the inner workings of this business perfectly well, enough knowledge to take care of the company they keep.

I get it. . . ❞ He cocked a shoulder, his countenance stiff despite the pinch of amusement that suddenly slinks its way into his tone. ❝ Been there and done that another lifetime ago. Guess we all have a story to tell about double-dealers, right . . . ? ❞

Spike is tense but flexible. Stresses a tad alleviated similar to the hair that stands along his nape. Mismatched eyes continue to maintain a sharp glare, following in sync with her every move she makes. Although she merely twirls around in her seat to lure his attention towards her main monitor, his gaze doesn't wander off her frame for a second. . . at least not yet. He watches her as does a cautious snake who stares transfixed on its prey ( or threat) in tall grasses, waiting to strike at the detection of quick movement should she attempt to escape. Not that Spike placed his reputation on a high pedestal to flaunt, but what good of a skillful bounty hunter would he be if he didn't stand in high alert of a perpetrator ?

But curiosity does eventually tug Spike's conscious as his gaze snap towards her laptop. It was plastered with quirky colorful stickers, youthlike characteristics that reminded him that this cyber-criminal was, indeed, a child. The image of Ed surfaced in his mind for a moment, how their own computer was decorated with a few wacky stickers in a similar fashion. But either way, such traits that befits a child does nothing to lower his guard in regard to this particular one in his sights. Hal had a bounty on her head for a reason with a collection of evidence of crimes she committed over the years, and he needed to remind himself of that fact to not be fooled by this portrayal of child-like innocence.

The Jericho in his hand only tightens its grip at her boldness to submit a demand to lower his weapon, still directly pointed at her. But his mouth quivers as he snorts in response, downright ignoring her request, as if she dropped a ridiculous joke. Funny, to think she had authority to make any demands or requests at all of that nature. As if Spike would take any chances following orders from a criminal, a child of all people. Who does this kid think she is ? Spike was done playing games. Honestly, he never imagined he'd be aiming a weapon at a kid again. But circumstances don't always fall in line in the way we'd like in this so-called life.

One step closer of his dirt clad boot, and he's standing behind her, enough to get a better view of a bounty head that popped up on her computer screen. Mark 'Tee' Johnson ? In this special shot, the photo depicted a man with long brown hair and large round red sunglasses. There was another shot that showcased him without glasses where anyone could see bags and dark circles beneath his eyes, yet a small smirk molded his lips with a cocky flare that Spike was familiar with. ❝ Hmm, yea, I've seen this guy before on Big Shot. I think he was last seen on Venus awhile back, but I guess he must've snuck off to Mars recently. What's the bounty on this hipster ? ❞

Hal grumbled. This was just her luck. Not that it was the first time she'd been chased by overzealous bounty hunters, far from it, this may have been her most thorough chase, and it was definitely the first time one had so utterly bested her. The girl might not play fair, but that didn't stop failure from leaving a bitter taste on her alien tongue. The fact she could cheat and still lose- it didn't seem fair.

Was he going to get that gun out of her face anytime soon?

Arms folded with a petulant pout, behavior that of someone who lost a game rather than possibly their freedom. Failure might suck, but dwelling on it only made it suck more. At his question, a light exhale escaped through her razor sharp teeth in the form of a tiny chuckle.

"If they're on Mars, they aren't my friends." socialization with clients was kept airy, but rather cold at the same time, things were easier that way, "I'd never trust anyone who'd hire me, I'll tell you that much." she shook her head, a miserable life behind bars indeed. She couldn't exactly feel bad, they all knew what they were risking in their line of work.

"Why don't we find out together?" she gestured with her eyes over to the colorful, sticker-laden laptop in front of her, "And put that thing down already. You're not gonna shoot me, I haven't seen my bounty in a while but I know it says alive." Hal turned to face the glowing monitor in the dim light,

"What about this guy? Hippy bio terrorist. He had me hacking some news broadcast to spread his weirdo manifesto. Also, he was a total jerk and kept calling me 'kiddo'. But uh- I'm not petty."

Yeah Lana was super weird with her lolita fetishism but I guess it flew unchecked because she was already a grown adult when she debuted. I wouldn't say she herself ever pretended being younger than she is, but rather protected the whole ddlg dynamic, calling her sexual partners/bf in her songs "daddy", or even going as far as to make lyrics emphasizing how youthlike her romance/sexiness were....

Petticoat’s ‘Hedon’ Is a Vulnerable Piece of Pop-Futurism

It’s no secret that 2021 has been sorely lacking in forward-thinking pop releases, but luckily things seem to be turning around. This week sees Petticoat returns to fans with his newest project Hedon, a five-track EP comprised mainly of singles released over the past year. 

If this is your first time hearing about the 24-year-old LA-via-Bay Area artist, then consider this an early look into one of pop’s most promising up-and-comers. Having caught the attention of budding pop icons like Slayyyter while amassing a small (but devoted) fanbase, Petticoat pulls no punches on his newest project.

Synthesizing futurism-focused pop with genres like new wave and experimental club music, Hedon is Petticoat’s bold self-introduction to the modern pop sphere. From the project’s earliest moments of glittering synths to the thundering bass signals dominating its finale, Hedon showcases masterfully polished pop production to an almost enviable extent. 

Tracks like “Stretch” sound like NSYNC* and Charli XCX hopped into the studio together while “The Middle” features a Kraftwerk-esque bassline with some serious Pet Shop Boys vibes, but each track still maintains Petticoat’s signature sound. Petticoat’s affinity for clever songwriting mixed with his natural talent for crafting forward-thinking yet nostalgic pop bangers is one of the things that has kept me returning to this project long after writing this article.

Hedon is not just a bells-and-whistles project full of perfectly polished mixes, however, as underneath Petticoat’s delicately mastered vocals lies a treasure trove of vulnerability and earnestness. “Where Will I Go?” explores the tension behind the listless disillusionment of age combined with an impassioned cry for direction during an uncertain time. The tracks that decorate Hedon and its tracklist delve into love, cultural hegemony, and the euphoric optimism of youthlike exuberance. 

It is rare that artists like Petticoat are able to seamlessly craft witty lyrics and advanced musical styles so early into their career, but to our own fortune, “Hedon” is just that. Whether or not you find yourself partial to pop from the ’80s, the 2000’s, electro-pop, or dance music, “Hedon” has a little something for everybody.

Oooh that’s a spicey question! I’m almost too nervous to answer it. 😅

Here’s how I view it:

💗 They probably feel very comfortable with each other on an emotional level. Emotions flow rather easily and they feel like they just “get” each other.

💓 Their gut reaction and how they process emotion is similar in “tone”, but not the same. Both feel it intensely and sometimes in a dramatic way.

💗 Probably both become self-centered and self-focused when slighted or when emotions are hurt. There can be quite a few emotional outbursts and they can seem to start out of nowhere.

💗 Aries Moon guy would at its worst be controlling and know just what to say to Leo Moon woman for her to feel hurt. He might regret it as soon as he said it, but Leo Moon will already blow it out of proportion.

💗 To me Sagittarius Sun Aries Moon combo just screams independence! As soons as he would feel limited and confined he would run searching for his freedom either in a hobby, job/work, study or sports. This guy is quite sporty, isn’t he?

💗 But Virgo Sun would try even harder to keep him by being “useful/helpful” and “of service” to him.

💗 Both crave a lot of attention and admiration from each other. Leo Moon for their creative intelligence and expression or written word and Aries Moon for their accomplishments and winnings.

💗Virgo Sun love the idea of grocery shopping together or dancing and cooking in the kitchen.
