I've seen a lot of people writing Danny as a space ancient and Dan and Dani as ghosts with moon and sun cores, being sort of parts, versions of Danny and therefore weaker. Now, consider: Dan and Dani are both powerful ghosts with really cool cores and stuff but Danny is just some guy™

Dan, who came from an alternate timeline and is kind of from the future but also not, is Clockwork's apprentice and will eventually become an ancient of time. He probably only agreed to have some lessons with Clockwork to understand better what happened to him, but he enjoys his apprenticeship now.

Dani, with her love of travelling, loves seeing all the different places the world offers to her, and that includes space and different planets and maybe even parallel universes, and she accidentally ends up being an apprentice of the space ancient. For now she's probably a baby ancient of freedom or something like that, but she might become an ancient of space in the future.

We can also have something like Dan having a core of destruction or Dani being the Speed Force if you want it to be dcxdp, or any headcanon of yours about their cool powers.

And then there's Danny. And yeah, everyone knows that he's super powerful, but also he's just some guy.

It can go different routes. Does everyone know that Danny is just Danny? Or do they think that with siblings (well, technically a clone and an alternate version, but whatever) so powerful, he must be even stronger? Is Danny actually something terrifyingly eldritch and ancient and strong, almost a god, but he just doesn't know himself? Or is he just really some guy?

Now, because it's obvious that I have a dcxdp brainrot, have a regular "JL summons/meets a powerful ghost" but its Dan and Dani, and they keep mentioning their original/brother who won a fight against them at some point. The JL is very concerned about Dan and Dani's godlike powers, and they can't imagine what Danny is like. And then they meet him (in his human form), and it's just a young adult in casual clothes, very friendly and helpful, with no evident powers. Imagine the confusion. Imagine Dan and Dani, radiating power, in their eldritch ghost forms, admitting that fighting Danny for real is the dumbest thing to do and not even they would succeed... And then there's Danny is jeans and silly t-shirt, waving shyly.

i think all marauders fans should take every character as their own little doll to customize and play with and project on to and everyone’s should be different. it should be like your avatar in a game or something that u get to show off to mutual fans like ‘mine looks like this :3 urs looks like that?? omg thats so fun’ like they should work like OCs. we are all just playing pretend here and i think we should embrace that

ig another annoying thing about the 'this transcends language 😲😱' comments about the most obvious of cognates and literal english loanwords, is that it's another example of how native english speakers (and, by virtue of their population size, mostly USamericans) are the arbiters of what gets seen as 'universal' vs what's weird and foreign on the anglophone internet. cause to me as a dutch speaker, a lot of german compound words would '''transcend language''' - but the tweets that go viral about those kinds of words are about how they're silly little nonsense words to laugh at, can't be a real language, can you believe anyone speaks that!

On this episode of little details I notice:

There is so much movie magic that goes into the LOTR movies in the way of suspending your belief. Not once are you aware that there are full, human sized actors playing the Hobbits because the perspective and playing with scale is done so well.

Though there is this one shot I can't help but marvel at every time, and if you haven't bothered to pay attention to it before, it's just a testament for how well it's pulled off.

It's THIS SCENE:

Look at their hands.

That is obviously not Billy Boyd's hand, especially because of how small it looks compared to Ian McKellan's, but your brain can register that, it might not be Billy's hand, but it certainly is Pippin's hand.

It's just so impressive, during a scene so close up, where they obviously couldn't have used a scale double for the face, they went the extra length to make Pippin look smaller, having a scale double off screen, having their hand held by Gandalf. So subtle, you might not even notice it at first, but it WORKS.

On today's episode, Moon lists off the people he trusts. And Lunar wasn’t among the ones that were mentioned. I get he messed up and all that, but why aren’t his efforts seen? It feels like they'll keep him at arms' length no matter how much he's willing to sacrifice for them. Sorry for the small rant, but I wanted to hear your thoughts on this.

Most of the things he did after he was punished for using dark star power was for his family. Because he wanted to get better for his family. Because he wanted to protect his family. Because he didn’t want to hurt his family anymore. AND MOST OF HIS FAMILY TREATS HIM HORRIBLY!!! Like I understand him answering like that before the machine thingy happened, because he fucked up and I wouldn’t trust him either at that point. But Lunar tried so hard to earn his families forgiveness, to earn back their trust just akgagqgafqiwudywghsisgs

im rewatching The Good Place and had a dbda crossover thought of:

what if Charles was caught by death and sent into the actual good place but since he refuses to stay without Edwin bc 'is not a worth paradise if i dont have him' they try giving an artificial companion(janet!Edwin) and it works for a while but then they still have to keep rebooting him over and over again to try and stop him from finding the real Edwin
