"Stop being so happy, Spicer. You shouldn't."
Hello, I'm back from fanart drawing hiatus. Missed me? Didn't think so, HAHA.
Idk, the logic behind it is that Jack is such a pathetic villain who brings embarrassment to evil everywhere, so he needs to be stopped. XD
I'm a mess, friends made me do it (but I love it). 😆

Happy 21st Anniversary to Xiaolin Showdown
Today is the 21st anniversary of one of our childhood Cartoon Network shows,
Tumblr media
Xiaolin Showdown!
Tumblr media
It had been 21 years since we had seen our four Xiaolin Warriors,
Tumblr media
Omi,
Tumblr media
Raimundo Pedrosa,
Tumblr media
Kimiko Tohomiko,
Tumblr media
and Clay Bailey together fighting the forces of evil,
Tumblr media
such as "evil genius", Jack Spicer,
Tumblr media
Wuya, and so many more villains all to reclaim the Shen Gong Wu!
So today, I will be adding the four heroes of the show into my muse list.

I've been utterly fascinated by Good (better? nicer?) Chase design by @lizard-color4 from this post and desperately wanted to know more. Who's this man? What's his story? Why is his hand bandaged? Why is his fashion taste is so much better than Original Chase? And why the hell does his hug looks so nice??
so i um, decided to explore his design a little ;D
also bonus+ sorta?? continuation / my take on the after hug because i really craved more of that
Tumblr media Tumblr media
bonus++ a silly doodle of my first attempt on his design because why not

Profiles in Villainy
Jack Spicer
The nefarious nitwit called Jack Spicer is a self-proclaimed super villain who, despite his foolishness and neuroses, is a rather brilliant inventor.  The lad comes from a wealthy family and has been terribly neglected by his parents, resulting in recurrent panic attacks and a grossly diminished sense self esteem. He has attempted to cope with these difficulties by turning to villainy and hoping to show his worth by becoming the world’s greatest evil genius.
Utilizing a bevy of remarkable self-made devices (including such items as helicopter backpacks, ray guns, and dozens of mechanical minions) Jack has sought out to obtain the powerful Shen Gong Wu, mystical weapons crafted by the legendary Grand Master Dashi.  He released the spirit of the evil witch, Wuya, and has aided her in battle against the noble Xiaolin Warriors.
While most frequently a villain, there have been instances where Jack Spicer has shown honor and pooled resources with the heroes so to achieve the superordinate goal of preventing disaster.  The good-hearted Omi has seen that Jack is capable of turning away from villainy and has tried to convince him to do so... thus far to no avail.
The young villain is voiced by actor Danny Cooksey in the initial Xiaolin Showdown series and by actor Eric Bauza in the subsequent Xiaolin Chronicles. Jack first appeared in the debut episode of the Xiaolin Showdown animated series, airing on November 1st, 2003.

I love your art! Who is your favourite character from Xiaolin Showdown
Thank you! My favorite character? Obviously-
Jack Spicer! Evil Boy Genius!
Tumblr media
Who doesn't adore this incredibly evil nerd? I'll admit without shame that I originally watched the show just for him! Every episode that had the Xiaolin Dorks fighting some other villain always made me sigh and glaze over, imagining what Jack would do in the same fight.
At least, until Hannibal Bean and Chase Young showed up- but they were pretty Jack-adjacent so that's not a huge surprise! (Wuya was also always a delight, but she got too tangled with Raymundo and I found him annoying, so I had to lower her standing until she started giving Chase headaches)

The story was the same as ever. Jack Spicer, self proclaimed evil genius destined to rule the world, head over heels for Chase Young. A warlord who was once an honorable monk and now the biggest bad of all heylin.
Chase was annoyed at Jack due to all his attempts to try and woo the ageless dragon and Jack was fed up too.
Jack really did like Chase at first but one too many times on nearly being killed made Jack bitter. He couldn't fight Chase but he sure could piss him off.
Jack was now passive aggressive whenever he interacted with Chase. Chase was passive aggressive back.
It is now to the point where they act like a married couple that want to kill each other, but their vows said otherwise.

Hi there,
I have a question about Jack Spicer.
1- What was his life like before the Xiaolin Showdown?
2- What do his parents look like & their color scheme?
3- Did Jack have friends in his childhood past?
4- Is Jack good at playing a musical instrument?
5- How was Jack's relationship with his parents when he was a young child
6- Is Jack's hair naturally red or has he dyed it? Because I saw a lot of fan art and fan stories that say Jack dyed his hair red Is that true or not?
6- Was Jack's grandmother evil or was she just a genius Its inventor woman?
7- What are the things that Jack likes and what are the things that Jack does not like?
8- How Jack dresses when he's not taking over the world.
Like casual clothes Instead of a black trench coat.
9- What is Jack's level of intelligence and genius?
10- I want to know his back story & His life
11- How many people are in the Spicer family?
I know A little about Megan is Jack's little cousin
I'm going to do my best to answer these, but ultimately, there are no right or wrong answers, as canon doesn't provide any information.
We do not know what Jack's life was like before he released Wuya. Furthermore, some of the details in season one (e.g. the party that's going on in "Katnappe!" that Jack claims to hate) do not get carried over to season two and beyond (e.g. Jack seems to be alone in the entire estate at all times). Most headcanon that he is an only child, his father is able to work abroad and is wealthy, his mother is a socialite or trophy wife (possibly both) and both are too busy to give Jack the attention he desperately needs.
Nothing is known about Jack's dad. The only time he is mentioned is in episode one when a Jackbot delivers the puzzlebox containing Wuya's mask in it, saying, "A gift from your father in Hong Kong." Jack's mother is Caucasian or white-passing, extremely slender, and seems to embody the ideals of a 1950s American housewife from the two "appearances" she makes as an arm and legs. The only major detail is her square, red manicured nails.
Jack never makes any mention of friends, or to his "past," unless it's about himself. ...I'm starting to think he's neuro-divergent.
This is unknown. His voice actor in Xiaolin Showdown, Danny Cooksy, was part of a band called Bad 4 Good, so Jack can at least sing. One's own voice can count as an instrument. Jack goes on to rap in Chronicles. Outside of that, there is no further information in canon.
Showdown alludes to Jack having a coddling relationship with his mother. She encourages Jack to do enriching activities, even if he doesn't want to do them. He acts out and breaks makes robots out of her things when he doesn't like what she forces him to do. Occasionally she will bake Jack cookies. Because Jack never mentions his father, he likely wasn't around for Jack's upbringing, but he is at least alive... probably. Jack may have estranged himself from his father for some reason. Chronicles revealed in the 21st episode that does not exist, a short flashback to Jack as a child. He was waiting for both of his parents to come home for Christmas with presents, but they couldn't make it home in time for whatever reason (work or they had an arbitrary excuse not to go home). This is all Chronicles gives us on Jack's past.
Only Hui knows if Jack dyes his hair or not. Because his brows are black, he at least does makeup on them, or dyes them separately.
There is no information about Jack's granny other than he mentions her often, and seems to have a close relationship with her; he likes her gifts. Off hand I can't remember what those gifts specifically were, but they were standard, "You might need this, so here," type of gifts.
This question is too broad, so I cannot answer it. He likes his evil idols and Evil ™️, and thus hates "good" by extension.
Jack can wear whatever he wants. The animators and production designers seemed to have fun with his costume changes (see "Sands of Time" episode).
Jack would need to have at least 140 IQ to be considered a genius. He never mentions being contacted by MENSA, so he's not a super genius (but he still invented a time machine, go figure). He also mentions in season two, when Wuya calls his genius status into question, Jack says, of course he's a genius, "Who else would be smart enough to cheat on an IQ test?"
I don't know how to answer this one. Just watch the show???
It is unknown how many people are in the Spicer family. Jack's immediate family consists of at least his mother, father, and likely a maternal grandmother. Cousin Megan would be from an aunt or uncle. Most likely Megan's parent is related to Mama Spicer, as she's dressed and styled in a way reminiscent of 1950s or 1960s children's fashion.
I hope that covers everything. Again, the questions you're asking don't have any actual answers in canon. Which is nice, because it leaves it open to interpretation for fan fiction purposes. But it can also be frustrating if one really wants to drill into what is concrete in canon.

So this AU is based on the Scarlet/Violet storyline (because I can't resist making a whole AU)
Blossom in the class president and wannabe champion of Oak’s academy.Setting out to finish her final challenge as the next champion, Blossom comes across a strange pokemon (a Roaring Moon which basically act’s the same as Koraidon in this au and isn't apart of her team) that has its powers restricted by a strange magical device trapped to it's neck. Soon after she runs into well known trouble maker and self proclaimed evil genius Jack Spicer who wants the device for his own purposes. After a heated battle where she defeats him, Blossom Realizes that Jack knows more about what's going on than she does. So Blossom decides to blackmail Jack ( he’s been editing his grades so he’s not expelled from school for skipping) if he helps her find the rest of the pieces to whatever is holding Roaring Moon back. He agrees and the two set off to explore the region.
Blossoms is traveling to become a pokemon master and professor. Her partner is a Shiny Decidueye  named Artemis.
Team: Hatterene (Titania), Alola Ninetails (Skaði), Lucario (Apollo ), Milotic ( Galatea,), Lurantis (Persephone)   (I know most people give Blossom a fire starter because of her color scheme, but I've always seen Blossom be closer to fairy types and Ice types. Plus I can see Rowlette/Decidueye fitting Blossom more. With it being a more serious, regal pokemon. Just like how I see Blazekin fitting Buttercup more than Blossom because of it's fighting type. The rest were easy as I can see Blossom having a affinity for Ice and Fairy types, but understand the strengths of having a diverse team.)
Jack was once a grunt for Team Heylin (a group set on world control) after team Skull was disbanded and worked as a double agent of sorts while going to school. Left team Heylin for personal reasons but is now trying to track down a mysterious relic. His partner Pokemon is a Kommo-o named Young (he and Toxtricity were bought by his dad as gifts).
Team: Toxtricity (Cooksey), Hounddoom (Stein), Obstagoon (Slasher), Scizor (Ryzor), Scolipede (Venom) (Again I know people see Jack having either dark, electric or steal, even a monkey pokemon. But a fighting Dragon type seemed like his ideal (and I blame Croxovergoddess, she was right when she said it was a Jack pokemon) Plus Toxtricity is in the same boat. A punk electric poison type that has spikes? I mean come on. The rest seem like Pokémon that can be easily captured but fit him. I can see the scolipede causing the most trouble) -- I do plan on adding a few more doodle (and a separate piece for Princess and Brute because I have no self control. I even have their teams picked out lol) Any way I hope you like it!
I got the pokemon from the pokemon team maker https://richi3f.github.io/pokemon-team-planner/plan/#home because I didn't want to draw them.

I blame discord... you know who you are...
Chase Young had felt out-of-sorts for nearly twelve hours when he sat down to meditate. There was an upset in his energy that he traced through his meridians to the place where his stolen draconic power filled the void left when he'd bartered his soul away for…
For what? It seemed like he could hardly remember it now beyond his seething rage at Hannibal Roy Bean. It had been more important than everything else in his life, once.
Dragging his attention back to what he was doing, Chase focused on the turmoil in his chest. He realized he felt the pull of a shen gong wu awakening. That hadn't happened since… was it the Eagle Scope? That had been a decade ago at least, hadn't it? He sensed them only rarely, usually the most powerful items, and they were some of the few toys he bothered gathering.
Chase emptied his mind, willing the wu to speak to him, to tell him where it rested and what it was. When the image resolved, he snapped out of his meditative state. The Zhiji Shuttle.
Dashi had invented it when he'd met someone who reminded him so strongly of his deceased teacher that he was certain she was his soul returned. When its string was wrapped around someone, it allowed the wielder to see who that person had been before drinking Meng Po's tea. That did seem troublesome, though Chase didn't think it was quite as powerful as he'd been expecting. Hadn't there been a second wu that went with it? Perhaps he'd recall when the other revealed itself.
Still, it seemed like he'd best go claim the Zhiji Shuttle before someone else did.
He summoned his armor and let the cats know he would be stepping out.
"Shall I come with you, Master Chase?" Omi had appeared along with the cats taking Chase's orders, his black and red robes somehow still looking too big on him even as he'd grown into his adult height.
Chase preened at his apprentice's anticipation of his desires. "Yes, Omi. Perhaps you will enjoy a challenge against one of your former teammates today."
Omi smiled but his eyes were distant. "It has been too many months since the last shen gong wu battle. I was starting to wonder if they had all turned up."
"Not likely," Chase laughed. "The last time they were cataloged I believe there were six hundred and nine known shen gong wu."
"Grandmaster Dashi must have been very busy," Omi said, eyes wide.
"He only created about a hundred or so," Chase clarified. "Letting everyone think he built all of them is typical, though. Come, let's see about today's hunt."
Chase led Omi to the location he'd felt from the Zhiji Shuttle, and so they found themseves atop a Japanese teahouse, looking down over a well-maintained garden with the ocean in the distance. Chase caught Omi looking a bit wistfully at the water and imagined his student feeling the pull of the tides as he had done as a young man.
"It has just awakened, so we should have at least half an hour before the monks get here," Chase told him. "If you find it quickly enough, we can leave without seeing them, if you prefer."
Omi bowed to his teacher and leapt down onto the grounds of the garden while Chase stayed above, trying to follow the energy of the Shuttle more precisely. Something in the air here made him feel slightly dizzy, and the effect was unpleasant.
Chase was startled to hear Omi's voice ringing out below. "Jack Spicer!" He groaned at the thought. He hadn't seen Jack in years, had assumed that perhaps the worm had either had the sense to find a new hobby or had managed to bleed to death somewhere after a showdown. Already out of sorts, the idea of Spicer turning up did nothing to improve his mood as he leapt down to watch Omi's conversation.
The laugh that echoed across the clearing was deeper and less annoying than Chase remembered. It took him only a moment to line up the mental image of the evil boy genius with the actual man standing at the foot of a tall, arched footbridge.
"It has been too long since I saw you!" Omi was hugging Jack like an old friend, which Chase supposed he was to his student. He frowned nonetheless. Isolating Omi from his fellow monks had taken considerable effort, and he was not inclined to see it undone by Spicer of all people.
"Well, yeah, that was kind of the point," Jack said, but he did not elaborate. Chase frowned as Jack continued, "Look at you, doing the whole Heylin Omi thing again, huh? How's that treating you?"
"You are a sight for painful noses! Why are you hunting this shen gong wu?"
At Omi's question, though, Jack pulled away like he'd been shocked, his eyes wide and his head darted around. "There's a wu? I'm- I'm not here for it, okay? Leave me alone, it's all yours, I swear."
"You okay, babe?"
Someone else had entered the space without Chase noticing, and judging from his student's reaction, without Omi noticing either. Odd.
"Yeah, just. Flashbacks, you know." Jack was stepping away from Omi like he feared the younger man. As he should, Chase thought, but it didn't answer any of his questions. The stranger put an arm around Jack, subtly positioning himself between Jack and Omi, and spoke in a quiet, calm voice with his mouth just below Jack's ear.
The intimate gesture bothered Chase in a way he couldn't fully comprehend. He cast around for a reason for his annoyance. If Omi stayed distracted, they would definitely see the monks shortly, and with him already off-balance from seeing Jack, Chase preferred not to deal with the emotional fallout today. He decided to cut to the chase with Jack himself.
"Why are you here then, worm?" Chase asked, stepping out into the clearing as well. Jack managed to go even more pale, somehow, and the stranger's arm tightened around him.
"Rude," the man said, glaring at Chase. "This is a public park, you can't complain about people messing up your cosplay photos."
Chase narrowed his eyes at the stranger, and Jack jumped forward, putting himself in front of the other man with a nervous laugh. "We're just walking- walking around, Chase! I'll pretend I never even saw you, okay?"
That didn't make the situation any less suspicious. "Yes, but why are you here, if not chasing wu?"
"Max and I live here? Well, not here because it's the park, but in San Francisco?"
"San Francisco? Are we not in Japan?" Omi said.
The man behind Jack- Max, Chase thought the name, almost against his will- was blinking at them now. He made Chase's skin crawl, for no reason the warlord could understand. Something was wrong about all of this, and Chase leaned in for a closer look at Jack, trying to figure out what was different.
"You've changed," Chase said, and he intended it as an observation but Jack rolled his eyes disrespectfully.
"I grew up, Chase," Jack said, and yes, he had, but that wasn't it.
Chase finally put his finger on it. "Your eyes are green." Something about the difference unnerved Chase, or maybe it was just that everything about this day was unnerving Chase. Honestly he should just murder the worm and his partner and be done with it, but it seemed likely Omi would find that disappointing.
"Oh! God, I almost forgot about those contacts I used to wear. Yeah, this is my natural color, same as my hair," which, yes, Chase realized now was a brassier red than it used to be. "I don't have time for the upkeep these days, because I have a life now, and I'd prefer not to die today, so…" Jack was babbling, and Chase resisted the urge to reach out and close his mouth for him.
"They're not cosplayers, are they, Jack?" Max asked, stepping backwards now.
"No. No they're not."
"I have located the Zhiji Shuttle!" Omi crowed, hurrying back into the small clearing. "Look, Master Chase! I was able to sense it, as you have been teaching me."
"Good work," Chase said, not looking away from Jack and his… his whatever they were to each other.
"I have often wondered if you knew me in a previous life, Jack Spicer! Now I will find out. Zhiji Shuttle!" Omi shouted before Chase could tell him to stop. The wooden device shot out of his hands, leaving a red thread in Omi's grasp. It spun around Jack two or three times before returning back to Omi's hands.
Jack made a panicked, choking noise as the string tightened around him. As he tried to grab at the string, his image seemed to shimmer and reform- his skin was darker, and so was the red of his hair, but his eyes were just as green, and he wore grey and pale green robes. The sight of him hit Chase as hard as blow he'd ever taken in a fight.
"Yuehan…" he whispered. All this time Jack had been Yuehan's reincarnation? How had he missed the man's return? They had been lovers before everything fell apart, surely he should have recognized him, even with the ridiculous costumes he'd worn.
"You know him?" Omi asked. "I had thought- I had thought I might feel something else about him, but I feel no differently than I did before."
"It can only show you the past, Omi, not explain it. Not fix it." Chase snatched the Zhiji Shuttle away from Omi and the string shattered into flecks of light, along with the illusion that had hung over Jack.
Chase sneered at Jack's partner. "And who are you, then? Kaila, come to steal him away again?" That would certainly explain why the man made him feel sick. Chase triggered the Zhiji Shuttle as Jack reached for Max, and the Shuttle wound them together into an embrace. Chase roared in anger even before the magic shimmered into place, because he knew he'd be confronted with the image of Yuehan in the arms of-
-of-
Now Omi was staring too, his jaw hanging open. "Master Chase, is that… you?"
Yuehan looked just as Chase had seen him a moment ago, panicked and angry and in the protective arms of a young monk in blue tunic and trousers, with his long black hair falling in his face despite his best efforts to pull it back, and while Chase had never seen a funhouse mirror he felt like the world itself was mocking him with his reflection.
He knew perfectly well that he'd given his soul away for power once. He'd never considered what that could imply.
Chase flung the Zhiji Shuttle back at Omi, who caught it without thinking. "Come, before the monks arrive and make this worse." He stalked away, but when his student didn't immediately follow, he looked back.
Max was pressing a black rectangular tool into Omi's hand. It reminded him of a wax tablet, but he suspected it was a phone not unlike the ones he always saw in Kimiko's hands.
"He seems like a dick," he heard the young man whisper. "And you seem lonely. Here, take my phone. Jack's number is in there, you can call or text, okay? The back of the case has a solar charger. I'll get a new one."
Chase watched from the corner of his vision, furious but frozen to the spot. Omi took the phone in both hands and tucked it away in his sleeve, then bowed carefully. "You are most generous, Friend Max."
"Solar means you put it in the sun," Jack clarified with a sigh. "I don't know what just happened, or what I've missed, but take care, cheeseball."
"Do you think my apprentice needs your help?" Chase sneered, looking back at them. "I could kill both of you with barely a thought."
Max took Jack's hand, and there was a set to his jaw that made Chase shiver. "We're going to walk away slowly, and you're going to let us, and you never have to see either of us again. Understood?"
Chase didn't bother to acknowledge the implied threat, but neither did he move to stop them. Even once they'd disappeared from sight, he couldn't seem to put aside what he'd seen.
"Come," he said again to Omi, nodding toward something green in the sky, and Omi turned away thoughtfully, stepping close enough for his master to take them both away from the strange scene.

And I have finished this new drawing of my evil Jill. It's not the best thing I've done, but so many things have happened these days to draw a little, it encourages me qwq
Within the AUs that have been created in Xiaolin Showdown, one of the most popular was Reverse! AU. Created by @c0njidraws
Where the characters reverse roles with each other, including Jack Spicer with Chase Young. reverse! Jack is quite an evil Lord Heylin. More than a warrior, he still has that air of evil genius. In this case, he is an alchemist.
Reverse! Jill is just as evil as Jack, she shares some of her memories and personal goals. But Jill can't transform into a powerful dragon, and she knows that Jack doesn't trust her.
In this world, Jill tries to get the powerful Lao Mang Lone Soup to become stronger and more independent. Which leads her to work secretly and create alliances with the wrong people. But she occasionally spends girly time with Megan, like drinking tea or reading a book.

Selective Low Activity Jack Spicer RP + Ask Blog
Tumblr media
First and Forepost-- Rules and Introduction.
Rule 1. Asks are welcome! If I don’t like it, I won’t answer it! Personal blogs can sends asks, and even interact in a limited manner with Jack if they would like, but I won’t making any threads with non-character entities. Rule 2. Jack is canon divergent, which means part of the Xiaolin Showdown and Chronicles series have been reimagined or re-contextualized. Respect that Jack is not ‘cowardly, (physically) weak or ineffectual’. Jack is a wildcard, easily swayed by whims and increasingly disturbed by unfolding events in his life (and like, is a teenager, for a large part of XS). Just approach him like any other character, unless you are from his series, then we can chat character dynamics. Rule 3. I love shipping. But from every dynamic (platonic; romantic; mentorship--). Jack isn’t used to people liking him further than they can use him. He’s quick to excite but slow to embrace the responsibilities of commitment of any kind (scared of rejection from friends and significant others; scared of failure from mentors and friends; etc). Rule 4. I’m an adult, and sure Jack is an adult in all post-canon content... But there’s little interest for explicit threads. Asks, art, interactions can be steamy, but fade to black will be the default for amorous threads. Rule 5. Though on the note of threads at all... this blog is taking it easy. I would appreciate many asks and I will do my best to send plenty myself. But my main intention with this blog is reaching back out to friends blogs and generally having Fun with Jack. Fun including but not limited to: Oh Ships?; Henchperson Dynamics (him serving or leading); Jack Making Friends Trials n Tribulations; Exploring Jacks vast inventory of inventions & canon divergent settings. Maybe talk about AUs. Infodumping, the good stuff. Rule 6. I have ADHD and Autism, if you want to plot instead of sending a meme (you can send any meme, whenever you want, no introduction!), you need to come into my IMs with some substance, or you will not catch nor retain my attention. We are not business partners this is not a transaction, please come into my IMs with the brunt of your personality (whether you are chipper or blunt, just be yourself). No 'hi, hello, want to rp?'. I need: INTENTION ('I like this character / this show / how you write / I saw you rp with a friend and was interested / CAN I GETA GOTH GF?') Then hopefully you can follow it up with some CONTEXT INVESTMENT (can you tell me a lil about how your character and Jack would be able to connect? do you need information from me? are you interested in shipping, adventures, casual encounters, specific genres, just wanna send memes and go with the flow?). And of course, we both need to understand the potential of me not being interested (I prioritize fandoms I recognize (not necessarily invested in) and significantly fleshed out OCs). I know it's formulaic and you don't gotta send me a paragraph off the bat. Jump in to talk bout your rp style or how you feel bout this rule first, whatever works.
Rule x. Uh Oh Ah I’ll Follow from Heylinfanclub if we gucci to RP.

A smirk spread across Reina's face. Precisely what she wanted.
At the end of the day, as Kimiko surely knew, Reina's satisfaction often came from getting a reaction. And bravo what a reaction it was! The overblown laugh, the biting criticism, and of course the names, but ultimately the putting and huffing made it truly delicious.
"Oh you wound me, Kimiko-kun," The intentionally inaccurate honorific being spoken with an emphatic punch, in an answer that was otherwise dripping with sweet sarcasm, "but you may be right on one point of that cute little tantrum." And Reina's hand gave Jack's bicep a wickedly forceful squeeze, causing the self-declared evil genius to wince in pain, "He's certainly not built much like a warrior, is he?" Of course the other Heylin Dragons, and their sensei... Or was it sifu? Teacher, Chase Young, had said to not concern herself with Spicer. Apparently he was an ambiguous evildoer at the best of times.
Finger tracing under his chin, guiding Jack's face upward, she was reminded, looking at his thin neck and bony chest, that her father had said to her when he had paid a non-birthday visit to teach her the Saisoku Fūjinken. 'A man without power is only as valuable as the pleasure that you reap from breaking him' a brutish and base thought in her opinion, even if it came from a man who was often so clear of mind and thoughtful of the best direction for human society.
But in the blink of an eye, Reina's finger moved from Jack's chin, to her palm being pressed flat against the young man's chest, pushing him and his seat to the floor as the warrior stood up. "Maybe another time, Spicer." His entertainment value, it seemed, was exhausted for the moment.
Standing up more fully, and glaring at Kimiko's back, she couldn't help but feel a simmering anger in her chest. Did the dragon of fire seriously think so little of her counterpart that she'd simply turn her back on an enemy? "You'd best take good care of your papa," Reina's words changing entirely into japanese in the moment, thought with a somewhat mocking tone, even using a term for her father that only young girls might have used, "after all, nobody's ever sure of when father decides he might have fun at the expense of someone weak." The threat clear in any language, but especially ringing true, given how it was indirectly through their own fathers that Kimiko and Reina had first made acquaintanceship. A clear and obvious attempt to get under Kimiko's skin another time, and draw a more pronounced reaction.
The immaturity of this girl has no bounds.
If Kimiko had to put it into words, the cheek and audacity of this Reina woman are comparable to that of a child. An immature, bratty, impossible child who's either never been told no or never gotten what she wants lashing out. It almost makes her feel sorry for Reina… almost. All she feels now is irritation; irritation at Reina's poor manners, and at her insistence on imposing in all aspects of Kimiko's life. Sometimes it feels like Reina wants her life, doing everything Kimiko does and following her around everywhere in some poor reversed imitation of her. (Laughable, really, if it wasn't so frustrating.)
'You teaching Jack Spicer anything?' Kimiko laughs at that, a real big and boisterous one. It's put on, at least a little, but the sentiment behind it is real. She's incredulous, first and foremost. 'As if you could ever. If none of the other Heylin could mold him in their image after years and years, what makes you possibly think you can? Don't make me laugh. You wouldn't be able to teach a fish to swim, let alone Jack Spicer to fight. You are an untrained disciplined brat who never had anyone worthwhile teach her anything and who has no right to teach anyone else anything. You are a disgrace, and if you had any self-respect, you'd know that.' A pout, and a huff, before Kimiko continues on the train of thought she's already been on.
'But then again, that would require you to think things through for more than 5 seconds… And that's never been a strong suit of yours, has it hún dàn?' She sits down herself, her back to Reina. 'Do what you want, I don't care. You and Jack can drive each other up the wall until the cows come home.'

Profiles in Villainy
Katnappé
Ashley had been a bored young woman who was attending a party at the Spicer household when she happened upon the basement laboratory of self-proclaimed evil genius, Jack Spicer.  Intrigued over the prospect of all the neat things she could obtain through super villainy, Ashley decided to join Jack on his next caper.  She donned a cat-themed costume of her own making and renamed herself ‘Katnappé.’
Unsurprisingly, Katnappé proved a far more competent villain compared to Jack Spicer and she gave the Xiaolin Monks quite a run for their money.  Fortunately,  Katnappé was not at all interested in world conquest, she only wanted nice things and live a luxurious lifestyle.  She obtained the Golden Tiger Claws and used The Shen Gong Wu to become a successful criminal.
As her name suggests, Katnappé is obsessed with cats, using them both as her inspiration and as her minions.  Her primary goal is to live in the lap of luxury along with her cats.
Actress Jennifer Hale provided the voice for the villainess.  Katnappé first appeared in the third episode of Xiaolin Showdown, airing on November 15th, 2003.
