Will you ever have pups? Or well, more a so if you ever have the option to have pups or find a pup, would you have them/keep them? Speaking of the trauma that you have had of you losing contact with your sibling and your mother, and you being left behind, you must have some fear of the idea of having/keeping pups with you right? Would you be afraid that if you had or kept a pup, that it might happen again, like history repeats or something? That you might lose the pup or such? Sorry this is a long ask!

As it was approximately eight decades after the crimson massacre, you decided to send your slugcat out to the old vengeful iterator anyway ignoring the warnings from your fellow group members fully aware of her violent tendencies to kill anything she deemed a nuisance. Nonetheless, your instincts tell you to proceed with your plan using an overseer to follow your little slugcat through their journey to see it through.

The scug had entered the puppets chamber with no issue. an had managed to avoid the chaos spawn known as the Rivulet sleeping in bed nearby careful not to trigger it's overly heightened senses an riisk being killed in the spot. Walking pass the rooms beyond the main chamber they suddenly heard the soft melody of elusive singing an followed it to a room located down a small flight of stars. It could be some sort of bathroom but it looked more like a pool than anything. The iterator is nowhere to be found as they walked around the pools edges searching for them. "... I wasn't expecting company tonight little creature. Based on your mark of communication an the territory you originated from you have come a long way just to visit? I don't usually tolerate uninvited guests. Most iterators have sent their slugcats to kill me an none have been successful, and neither will you. You may join me if you wish. It might ease those scars you've gained." The water below them starts to ripple, the scug jumps back startled watching the iterator slowly break the waters surface. Looks to the moon looked reasonably calm bathed gently moonlight behind her from a large round window.

Taking the advise they stare into the cosmic pool below them, hesitation fills their chest, they just spent the last dozen or so cycles traveling all this way to reach this iterator as they cautiously slipped themselves into the water letting a long dragged out sigh. True to Moons word the water was warm to the touch an incredibly soothing easily causing their once tensed muscles to relax. Moon reached over to pat the scugs head. She couldn't blame them. Traveling through a dangerous world like this was extremely hazardous after all. Their moment of relaxation was halted remembering why they had came in the first place making a haggling noise, regurgitating a mysterious pearl poking the iterators soft skin holding it up for Moon to take. "Oh, you want me to read this? Very well then," The pearl the scug held suddenly lifted out of their grasp on it's own, levitating towards the iterators hand. The overseer that accompanied them was high above the ceiling observing the both of them eager to see Moons reaction. The iterator hadn't spotted the overseers arrival yet as she held the pearl up to her face. Her red optic lenses dilated into pinpoints flickering rapidly reading the pearls contents in over a millisecond. Moons face suddenly became flushed turning a light shade of red placing a hand over their chest as she stared back down at them. "It's... written for me?"

They look on in wonder of what it could possibly be inside to cause a god like being this type of reaction? Much as they try their hardest not to stare down the rest of the puppets half submerged body it was becoming difficult to stay focused an not become distracted yourself, they were slowly losing focus to keep eye contact. The iterator who wrote this is unknown, I'm- not surprised they wanted to keep themselves anonymous but they're very literate I must say. Well, in the most unsettling way this deeply describes my 'assets' or anatomy, if you struggle to understand that word it means they're reflecting their feelings complimenting my body. An admire no less. How cute. I'm flattered but- personally I would never touch this with a seven foot poll.... If I wrote this myself I would have kept myself anonymous as well," Moon spoke as she lifted the pearl into the air where it was snatched by a stray neuron fly that carried it out of the room. She then lowered herself into the water scooting closer to them placing a hand on the edge of the pool. The scug looked up unable to avoid the iterators gaze. "Whomever sent you must have had a good reason for sending such- explicit material~ I pity they risked sending a messenger like yourself instead of delivering it themselves. I would have been happy to meet the author.." They struggle to say anything. This isn't how they expected it to go? This was suppose to be a one way message an meant to return safely. They could have sworn Rivulet was asleep however they underestimated just how fast this slugcat was as they blocked the only way out of the room. "And just where do you think your going?" Rivulet gives them the most widest of toothy grins holding them in place fluttering their long pink gills. Their claws dig into their skin causing the scug to yelp in pain. "Did you really think I wouldn't hear you coming in here disrupting my masters solitude without consequences? No no no, that just won't do! lets have some 'fun' before you go shall we~?"Moons antennas twitched as she stood back up in the water. Whatever mischief her slugcat was up to was not much of a concern dismissing the messengers current predicament.

"Don't play with them too rough~ be a dear an try not to drown them this time? they need to return to their owner alive." Moon waves a hand for them to leave, watching as the slippery slugcat dragged the messenger out of the pool ignoring the frantic calls of panicked confusion drowned out by the Rivulets high pitched laughter. Moon then blinked staring up at the overseer. At you. She knew you were watching all along, Moon purposely blew a kiss kiss into your overseers feed before she promptly disposes of it.

Quantum by @infernopkz VERSUS The Listener by @hecking-heavy - Round 2 Set 2

Quantum- Description:

They have the ability to scale metal-based walls due to having magnetic paw pads (walls that can normally be interacted with; not background walls). The scaling speed is about the same as the average crawling speed. Quantum is incapable of walking upright. They move slightly faster than hunter/artificer (1.35). Due to this, they can only hold one item (in their mouth) and store one item (in their stomach). They are better at evasion than offense. To compensate for their inability to throw rocks and spears, they can maul for 0.5 damage. They can eat plants and insects (aka default diet). They have 3 food pips that need to be filled, but can't store any for the next cycle. Other stats not mentioned are the same as default.

Story:

Quantum was created by two iterators, Nebulous Wisdom and Continental Horizon. The purpose of their creation was to help keep Wisdom alive, who has been dealing with severe system failures her entire life due to faulty construction. They decided to create a slugcat who has been modified to be a cyborg, with the main benefit being an iterator neuron ending inspired tail. This is to allow them to easily communicate with Quantum while they're inside the structure. Their legs are also mechanical, which gives them high stamina for the longer trips through the structure. Quantum can't fix existing major problems, but they can fix smaller problems to prevent those from getting worse. When they're not busy performing maintenance, they hang out in the world or around their structures.

Fun Facts:

They can display pretty much whatever they want on their visor, though they usually just default to eyes :) And also they can communicate to iterators through their tail, though it's like talking to a 1-2 year old for the iterator lol

The Listener- Description:

She has the ability to tune into broadcasts, just like Spearmaster, along with extremely good hearing in general (indicators would appear when off-screen enemies take a step, white lizards and dropwigs would be more obvious, etc). On the other hand, she gets Gourmand's mobility and spear damage without the crafting. She'd play on Artificer's map, having the drone but a much higher reputation with the scavengers.

Story:

She was a natural-born slugcat whose ears either weren't ever on her head or were ripped off in a terrible encounter with a red lizard. In the lore, she was the one responsible for reactivating an iterator known as Wandering Mind (who I'll be submitting for the iterator OC tournament) by essentially pulling a Rivulet three times. Minds was grateful enough to manufacture a pair of bionic ears for her to use, adding in all these features. Now she just hangs out, listening to broadcasts and keeping the local scug and scav colonies up to date on iterator affairs.

Fun Facts:

Yes, she revived an entire iterator. Yes, she still needs therapy.

Having trouble with thinking of something to ask hrmm

What part of the rw lore do you find most interesting? Like..what are your thoughts on it? any twists you've thought up or any detail/s you just wanna rant abt?

The rainworld lore is painfully a lot and painfully little at the same time, like why are the pearls focused on garbage worms and what is noise milking oh my goddd

moon isnt lore on her own but her pearl readings are a massive source of it. so if i had to say my favorite thing would be iterators and the relationship they had with their colonies. the fact they can vary and the fact iterators have different opinions of their parents!! (one iterator talked abt havjng to sit through dark political times awkwardly like 🧍🤷 at some points. thats funny)

ahem I looove it a lot!! for example the way moon worded her existence is sad. the way she speaks about them is sad. like in short “ancients must not try very hard so we do that for them. at least i did” <- smth along the lines

she sounds bitter she dislikes them with a hidden passion even when she has 5 braincells left. Not to mention she calls them parasites with bad takes (sheesh). something people dont really ?? recognize enough or at all imo is that moon almost retired (ancients moving away from her city) and she was happy about it. Until it didnt work out and some stayed and she was pissed again.

now pebbles speaks with softness (as much as he has it in him) he liked them! he liked their art! their music! he liked witnessing their stupid arguments even when they were in his name (he found the citadel he shaded funny for being so angry)

he found a lot of things they did stupid but he also was impressed in other aspects! he liked them a lot to the point the last item that he keeps for comfort and keeps him together as a whole is a hymn of theirs. even when abandoned, he finds comfort in the company they used to bring him!!! how sad!!

i havent ascended with saint yet. (reached karma 10 and bonked the siblings) but i doubt they answer all of my questions

random kiki rw lore fact- did you know that the rot area - (riv gameplay) there is a room in it thats just called terror!!! it upsets me greatly. the place is so different because the rot literally eats his walls. it fucks me up sometimes even if it seems obvious

FIRST ATTACK OF THE YEAR !!

Finally done !! (technically i did actually do one before but it wasnt even meant to be an attack)

The attack was originally intended to be closer to 20 slugcats, by the time I was actually sketching it I lowered it to 15, and I had to cut out two by the time I finished but. Here we are !!

Miros Bird - Lots of fun to draw !! The colors made it a bit difficult with the lineless but I've been wanting to draw them for solong, glad I finally did !! The colors are so pretty :0

Beetroot - FUNNY ARMLESS SCUG !!!!! Love that guy !! One of the three scugs my friend m&m got into this attack

The Collector - I LOVE the design !!! The colors were again a bit challenging with the lineless style but I had a lot of fun drawing them !!!

The Artist - the first scug I drew in the attack !! So pretty, I love the design and I LOVED drawing them !!!! (heres the drawing they made)

Lullaby (next to artist, not on pole) - One of my friend/mutual's character !! Been wanting to draw them for a bit, I was so hyped to see them on artfight !! Lots of fun to draw, I love the colors !!

Wanderlust/The Pathfinder (above artist, on pole) - GORGEOUS DESIGN. STUNNING. I ended up not really being able to get the same effect that the ref had, whether it was my artstyle or just the fact its lineless I don't know, but I'm happy with it and they were lots of fun to draw !!!

The Luminescent and The Revenant - theyre so pretty !!! I love how their designs were both simple and unique, I had lots of fun drawing them both !!

Yarrow (on pole, next to revenant) - Second oc of m&m's !! I love the story you've given them (and I esp love seeing my own characters and designs be involved !!!), I love their design !!!

Matchstick - SILLY LITTLE CREATURE !!! I'm a sucker for firey designs, I love those ideas in characters !!! Glad I finally got to draw them !!

The Detonator - silly scav scug oh my stars... I'll be honest, they were a challenge to draw. Definitely worth it, though !!! I like how they turned out and I LOVE the design !!

Nettle - THEYRE SO PRETTY !!!!! I've never seen a scug oc like them before, they're so unique !!! I had to draw them, I love the colors and patterns so much !!

Menzi - last oc of m&m's !!!! Probably my favorite of all of their scugs, Menzi is such a silly little creature and I really like the colors !! I had lots of fun drawing them :0
