"Are you cold?"

He asks me the question with such meaning that I know he knows the answer - he knows I know he know the answer, but I still shake my head and rub my arms with a shiver. It's winter, it's freezing, of course I'm cold! But he'll be cold too, and I can't let him get cold.

"Uh, uh," I shake my head as I try to mask the shaking of my thighs that I can't seem to stop.

Xavier smiles at me and doesn't say anything else as he moves to remove his jacket, revealing the dark maroon hoodie he's wearing beneath it, the white fleece on the inside peeking out of the neckline.

"You're such a bad liar, Smalls, it's insane," He laughs to himself and wraps his black jacket around me, lifting my arms to help push them through the sleeves. "There we go. Cozy?"

I'm getting cozier, but I'll never admit it. "Not really. It's not doing much, Xav, I'll be honest."

And he zips it up fully, the neck coming to cover my mouth and the sleeves flopping over my fingers. 6'4 jacket on a 5'4 girl - it must look horrific from his angle. Why is he with me, again?

"You look," he cuts himself off with a snort but shakes his head, "you look great Smalls. Still cold?"

I nod wordlessly because I'm not still cold, but I just want to see how far I can push him before he has me wrapped in a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate in my hands.

Without warning, Xavier moves closer towards me and wraps his arms around me, rubbing my jacket-clad shoulder with an expectant look in his green eyes. "Still cold?"

"Getting warmer."

Back story: You're walking with Hermione in the hallway, talking about the party that Slughorn's having

P.S - English isn't my first language but I tried to make it make sense as much as possible

Hermione & DS are walking in the halls, taking about Slughorn’s party

DS: “I can hook you up a date for the party with one of my friends ‘mione”

H: “I think I’m good, thanks…”

DS: “Oh come on, why not?”

Hermione stops walking to look at her

H: “Your friends hate me”

DS:”What? That's not true”

Hermione gave her a look

DS: “Oh come on, you know I'm not going to suggest you’d go with Draco…besides,we’re not really close, he doesn't like me very much… I was gonna suggest for you to go with Enzo”

H: Enzo, as in ‘Lorenzo Berkshire’? I’ll pass…”

DS: “What? Why?”

DS got in front of Hermione to stop her

DS: Enzo’s sweet, he’s like the definition of a golden retriever. He doesn't care about blood-statues’ nor what house you're in…”

Hermione didn't look convinced

DS: “He’s not stupid either, in the first year he almost got put into Ravenclaw…”

Hermione sighed in defeat

H: “Alright, fine. But how would you know he’d want to go?”

DS: “ Well, Enzo adores Slughorn, and knowing Enzo he won't miss an opportunity to go on a date with you…he thinks you're pretty…”

She said the last bit in a whisper, as if someone’s going to hear if she doesn’t, or care

A small smile appeared on Hermione’s face, but she almost immediately whipped it away

H: “Alright, but I need a final answer by tomorrow morning”

DS: “Copy that, you'll have it by dinner”

With that, she ran off to the dungeons leaving Hermione in the hallways by herself, shaking her head with a smile before walking back to her common room
