It irritates me alot when people say that making medic more compassionate is ''missing the point of his character'' when he is literally shown to be in the comics.... did you miss the part where he showed concern for both sniper and miss pauling's well being in comic 5 and 6.

His actions are a combination of genuine attachment + clinical interest and these things do not cancel out one another. He is always pushing boundaries and going against the grain and i think this is what led to him losing his license in the first place. He felt stifled by the rules imposed on him.

He is shown to be extremely passionate so it makes sense that he would use his endless fascination with medicine as a way to show his affection. He loves his friends so he will find a way to make them borderline indestructible. Malpractice is his love language.

the fact that irving canonically survives through the end of asunder to be at wynne's funeral is so fucking funny to me. nothing but love and respect for MY unstoppable cockroach morally grey machiavellian mage dad!!! he's survived in his position through multiple attempted rites of annulment and blood mage plots popping up left right and center around him. the chantry keeps trying to stamp him out but his dodge game is simply out of this world, divine. civil wars, political machinations and minefields, chantry atrocities, this wily old motherfucker is dodging and weaving his way through it all, not-quite-no-hits-taken-running-it-but-honestly-close-enough-under-the-circumstances style. if solas does succeed in tearing down the veil I would fully believe that one of the like three people still alive at the end of it all would be a very weary 90 year old first enchanter irving going 'oh this shit again huh'. the maker has cursed him for his hubris and his paperwork is never finished (affectionate, it's fine he canonically loves paperwork)

Next Shows a side profile of Shang Qinghua looking at the system glitching in and out and yelling "WARNING!" with vocals singing "Are you circling the drainpipe, getting off on pain like" Before Shang Qinghua is standing in the middle of static, he himself glitching out with heavily distorted text saying "You're corrupted?" Then Mobei coming out of the shadows to grab at Shang Qinghuas hand and looking down at him in jealousy and anger, unsure of what he's doing with the green glitching thing as vocals and text sing "I need to know where your loyalties lie, Tell me, are you gonna bark or bite?" Mobei and Qinghua are moved to the side and blurred as the system blinks back to life behind them while vocals continue to sing "Do you really wanna twist a knife in the belly". Next is images in quick succession of Mobei Juns neck and Shang Qinghua's neck both being choked with a system induced lock at their throat.

The vocals scream "MONSTER" while the systems cheery face pops up. Next comes in a strangling, angry Shang Qinghua screaming with text behind him saying "GET THE FUCK UP" and "WAKE THE FUCK UP" With a close of of an angry crying Shang Qinghua while his eyes begining to blink in and out glowing gold. The music continues with "WIPE THE SYSTEM" Showing a new god shang Qingha wiping the system with a gold slice and zooms into Qinghua's serious face as his eyes continue to glow and vocals saying "BACK THE FUCK UP" Next is Mobei Jun clawing at his throat before Qinghuas power overrides the system and breaks the lock as it sings "YOUR A PUPPET WHEN THEY CUT YOUR STRINGS OFF" Before Mobei falls to the floor grasping at his throat and Shang Qinghua yells "MY KING" before running towards him as the sing sings "DON'T COME CRAWLING BACK". Qinghua grabs at Mobei's hand and lowers his head apologizing as he shakes while vocals scream "KINGSLAYER DESTROYING CASTLES IN THE SKY" Mobei looks at Qinghua concerned, confused, a bit angry but intrigued while another "Kinglsayer" screams in the back. Next shows Shang Qinghua crying, his eyes are glowing bright gold and in heart shapes with he has his hands clasped together begging his king. The vocals sing "FOREVER MORE THE APPLE OF MY EYE" the visuals zoom out to show Qinghua on his knees, system boxes pop up but they are bright gold and show different images of Qinghua from his life before and current, some show him as airplane, holding a mobei bodypillow, almost bashing his kings head in, and grasping at Mobeis hand. Text pop up to show as if Qinghua is speaking it "I'd sacrifice my life to find you". Next shows Mobei grasping at Shang Qinghua's hand, zooming out to show Mobei looking at Qinghua like he's the love of his life and would love him no matter hwat, before it zooms back in to then show glowing background and silouhette of Mobei Jun and Shang Qinghua kissing. Mikey and Leo episode centered around Mikey wanting to push Leo and Draxum together since Leo’s the most reluctant to give Draxum any grace (for good reason!) But, thinking on the spot, Leo says he’s gotta go do something for Hueso and “just can’t hang out right now 😔” (yes, he says the emoji out loud.)

Mikey calls his bluff and now the three of them (Mikey having grabbed a weary Draxum along) go to Hueso’s to find that yes, he actually does have a job for him. Said job asks for Leo to go with Hueso to deliver multiple pizzas to this giant yokai quite a distance away, and Hueso figured it would probably go better with Leo’s help (emphasis on probably.)

Well, Mikey decides that this would be a great bonding opportunity for them and basically invites he and Draxum along. Unfortunately for Leo, Hueso doesn’t care enough to wave away more help, though he does side-eye the wanted criminal Baron Draxum coming with them. But who is he to judge? (This choice has consequences.)

The journey goes about as terribly as you’d expect, but at least the pizzas get delivered on time.

Do you think that Snape, after being yelled at by McGonagall for showing her attitude and somehow the fight escalating to their past when Snape was a child, and told that if he was actually traumatised by her actions, he'd be afraid of her, not rude to her, would lock himself in his room and cry, cry, cry, because despite the fact that he fought back and screamed that he IS traumatised, that she DID hurt him by not being there, that she IS responsible for him being this way, he isn't sure? Because every single person around him tells him that he's the problem. That he's rude. That it's his fault the other party was offended. Even though he didn't mean to be rude, he was just being him, but surely he's the problem if everyone's saying it? Or maybe he's surrounded by the wrong people? Or maybe he is wrong, and he is a horrible person, he is a piece of trash, he's wrong and just stubborn?

Do you think that sometimes he doesn't even know if he's right or wrong? That he doesn't even care, all he knows is that he's so, so angry, he's in so, SO much pain, he wants to scream, he wants to cry, it all hurts and no one's coming to make it better and he can never get it out, he can never truly vocalise it because the words won't come, and he looks hysterical, insane, and selfish.

Sebastian is a very attractive man—and a very successful toy store owner too; just like Ciel’s childhood dream, isn’t that such a coincidence? He’s very kind to Ciel—probably out of gratefulness for helping him—and Ciel quickly finds himself falling in love and sharing a special connection with the man, it’s just a shame that Sebastian seems to keep getting possessed by demons way too often than people normally do, doesn’t he? It’s like he just gets repossessed by demons as an excuse to keep seeing the little priest.
