Hey maybe it's less than cool that when I image search "Margaret MacDonald Mackintosh" the first hit is her photo and the very next hit, right next to her face, before any of her actual art, is a compilation of images generated in Midjourney based on her style.

"Oh you can edit your search terms to exclude AI". Shouldn't have to. I'm not searching "art nouveau style" or "hedgehog cute", I'm looking up a specific artist. Imagine buying a chocolate chip muffin at a bakery and having to specify you would like actual chocolate chips in order to not get carob.

FWIW she might have actually loved AI image generators, considering she worked with mixed media and was very experimental for her time. This gripe is a personal one as someone who lives on the internet and wants it to be a helpful place.
