The reason I immediately hear Kill Bill sirens in my head whenever someone introduces themself as a psychology major is because nine times out of ten the person is some jackass who took a general class, read some wiki articles, and now thinks that they can psychoanalyze everyone’s motivations for anything. And they all love to have the most ridiculous conversations where they metaphorically suck each other’s dicks and refer to themselves as psychologists when they know literally nothing. And they seem to think that they can just go and do whatever they want with a C average academic career backing their shitty little B.S.

Shut up fool!!! You know nothing!!!! You don’t know anything!!!! I can’t wait for the Rat Man to rip you a new one!!!!!!

#personal junk #the rat mans class is where these people go to die #and they get all pissy when no one cares about listening to their stupid 'theories'#its honestly so embarrassing #i bring this up because theres a dipshit in gay class who loves to think that he can comment on everything said #and he and this other dumbass keep going 'as a sociologist' or 'as a psychologist'#bitch you are a whole fool #a whole ass buffoon #youre lucky that youre in the wgs department right now because the other upperclassmen would be assholes right back #he uses that whole pseudo intellectual tone too its so annoying #look ill be the first person to admit that i actively discourage people from considering this degree path #as someone who is in the process of preparing for graduate school and will be graduating undergrad with honors #let me tell you that the actual fields of psychology are nothing that you think that they are #all of the most interesting fields are also the least fun to pursue #you want to go and counsel some really fucked up people? great i hope that youve got the thickest skin #because you have to shoulder all of their issues #you have to be willing to deal with people who are at the end of their rope and its on you if you misdiagnose #because youll get things like heart valve failure that presents as schizophrenia #you arent going into a field where everyone sucks your dick and youre heralded as a prodigy #everyone thinks that theyre the most intelligent person in the room when theyre all dipshits #and because we're a soft science people can take the easiest lowest effort route and graduate with a degree without knowing anything #im judgemental because this is a field that is supposed to help people #not make the psychologist the biggest dick in the room #you can tell how early on they are in their degree and how coddled theyve been by listening to them talk for five minutes #shut up and go inject rats with poison like the rest of us #then you will see
