Just writing this for my own organization and an excuse to gush abt my ships hehe. Here's a list of gifts I've given to every Ryan F/O, most things I own IRL, so they think of me when I'm not in their dimension (in order of the movies I've watched) that I want to draw at some point:

🐎🏖️ Ken: blue and white beaded bracelet with a letter "K" charm attached to it, as well as little star charms (given pre-relationship, something I've owned for years IRL) we have also given each other those little palm pals plush horses and named them Mister Ed (which I also own IRL!! shoutout to the anon who said Ken would get those for me because I'm absolutely in love with them and think of him every time I cuddle with them now 🥰🥰)

🎹🌃 Sebastian: a small piece of stardust he can pin onto his tie... haven't decided if I want a letter "K" charm attached to that or not yet (given during relationship, something obviously I don't own IRL as a real star obviously LOL but I do have a little star pin that could be used as a tie clip... so... technically something I kinda own??? I guess!!!)

🖤🎆 Six: a kandi friendship bracelet with red, gray, and black beads and star shapes -- charms not attached, as they would get caught on something easily (given pre-relationship, very early even before the mutual pining stage, something I have IRL)... as well as, later in the story, a wedding ring he wears on a chain around his neck that he hides underneath his shirt or tracksuit (can't wear it in the field because it can get caught on something, lost, and his enemies can use the fact that he has a loved one to his advantage if they find out)

💐💛 Officer KD6-3.7: a gold chain necklace with a very small lowercase letter "k" charm attached to it (given pre-relationship, also something I've owned for years IRL)

💙🔨 Driver: a Rubik's cube!! it has a letter "K" sticker on the blue side hehe >w< plus, it has a keychain thingy on it so he can attach it to his car keys if he wants to! I was originally gonna gift him a bracelet with a scorpion charm on it, but he doesn't strike me as someone who would... wear bracelets. I mean, I know he would if I gave it to him, but I do rather like the idea of him getting bored on set when he just stands around for 8 hours a day and he can play around with his Rubik's cube and think of me. one of my friends once told me "the Rubik's cube is a fidget toy that you can win, of course Driver would love that" hehe. (given pre-relationship, something I have IRL)

🧸🌟 Lars: a sensory/stim bracelet with bright pastel colors. lots of stars and hearts and squishy shapes, ofc a letter "K" charm attached to it that's safe to chew on (given pre-relationship, something I used to own IRL but I actually lost it LOL) I've also decided to add a design to the bracelet it didn't originally have; I want to attach a teddy bear gummy charm on it, because Lars is my teddy bear ;w;

🌲⛈️ Luke: a silver charm bracelet!! it has a few charms: pine trees, a motorcycle, a lightning bolt, a glowing star, a ghost, skull and crossbones, a ferris wheel, and... yeah probably a letter "K" too, honestly why not. hehe. (given pre-relationship, currently something I'm making IRL)

❤️💥 Colt: a rose gold necklace with my name written in cursive + a pink heart attached to it! and a kandi friendship bracelet with his name on it :D (bracelet given pre-relationship and will probably be something I make IRL, necklace given during relationship and something I own IRL)!!

🤍🥂 Jacob: a polaroid camera!!! I'm rly proud of this one bc it was really hard for me to decide what to give the man who already owns everything. I juggled back and forth with a necklace or a tie clip or even a shot glass or something for the longest time until it finally hit me: making memories with someone is something money can't buy!! so our thing is we take pictures together and put them in a scrapbook :D (given during relationship, something I don't own IRL yet but I will one day when I save up)!!

💙🍦 Dean: a silver heart-shaped locket with my initial on it painted in blue glitter! can hold a photo inside if he wants. (given during relationship, something I've had for years IRL)

🎶🔍 Holland: a lighter! I don't smoke so I wouldn't own this IRL but I've thought about maybe giving him one with constellations on it, probably during the relationship! I don't have much of our story figured out yet bc he isn't really a main F/O, but I still like to think abt him lighting his cigarettes and momentarily I'll cross his mind when he pulls out his lighter C:

⌚🌹 Stephen: also a very new relationship and idk anything about our story whatsoever -- I don't even know if we have a story tbh bc the movie just baffles me dude sldfkjsfdf I think I'd just drop into the universe to kiss him for a while honestly -- anyway!! I've thought of giving him two pieces of stardust he could use as cufflinks. or a piece of stardust on a chain that attaches to his belt. or... idk... a necklace? a ring? something subtle but meaningful that he'd wear everyday. hm.

🏠🦢 Noah: he isn't a main F/O so I actually haven't thought much about our story together either. he's more of a kissed-and-thrown-into-the-pile kind of boyfriend for me. I think I'd give him a plushie of a swan though :)

🌠💌 Julian: haven't watched his movie yet but he's next on my list. I'd probably give him a necklace or a bracelet unless if there's anything particular about him that makes me think "oh!!! yeah!!! he'd want [insert very specific item here]!!" I already like him soooo so so so much even tho I don't know anything about him. heart squeezing in my chest as I type this I wuv him soooo muuuuch. ahh. can't wait to give him something so he can think of me fondly when he sees it :)

📜💕 Steven: A bracelet! I don't know what kind yet though :) maybe a kandi friendship bracelet.

Other Ryan F/Os such as BV, and uh. [squints] idk if there's anyone else actually. I'm running out of movies. I'll probably give them gifts too if I end up shipping w/ them. but this is my list for now :]

He was sent away for a mission for a couple days due to fluctuations of Wanderers in the area. Unfortunately if he was by himself, it wouldn’t have taken days but his teammates were dragging him down.

His phone chimes, signaling a notification from you. Opening his phone he sees a video you had sent him.

“Rahhh!!” Your son squeals, hitting his toy sword at your plushies that you both won a couple years ago. Your laughter was in the background, making his lips tug into a smile. He missed you both as he watched the video. He was quick to text you back.

He clicked off his phone, determination bursting through him. He wants to go back home. The warmth of your laughter and the sight of your son, drove him forward. This mission dragged on way too long, he was going to finish this himself.

He moved swiftly, slashing his sword with precision. The hours flew by as well as the number of Wanderers. Without any word to his teammates from the mission, he headed out. He couldn’t wait to see the look on you and your son's face when he walked through the door.

Zayne:

Zayne isn’t easily distracted except when it comes to you and a box of macaroons. Now if it was you and a box of macaroons that would be a deadly combo.

During his meetings or when he’s about to head into a surgery, he always lets you know if he’s occupied so you know he won’t be able to reply right away. But right after all of that is over, he’ll immediately check his phone for you and ignore any of his notifications.

But when he’s in his office, the moment he receives a message from you, he can’t help but glance away from the reports he needs to file or send over to the nurses. Your messages always pull him in no matter what.

He unlocks his phone and is instantly met with another cute video of your baby daughter. She’s wearing his freshly clean white coat, which she had pulled from the laundry basket. She’s also wearing his oversized shoes that are comically too big for her tiny feet. “Papa!” She squeals, her face lighting up with a silly smile as she looks into the camera.

A soft laugh escapes his lips and he can’t help but replay the video a couple more times, his heart melting each time. It’s as if he can hear her giggles through the screen. With a wide smile curling up on his lips, he texts you back.

☃︎ ♡: I have one more break after I finish this report. I can call you both when I finish.

☃︎ ♡: I’ll finish up my work quickly so I can get home sooner.

Rafayel:

He didn’t want to be at this art exhibition, or quite frankly any art exhibition if you weren’t there. All he could think about was being home with you and the babies. Leaving them behind felt like one of the hardest things he could ever do.

You sent him a cute and chaotic video while he was away. “Quick, show daddy what you just did!” you exclaimed, as you aimed the camera at your baby waving a crayon clumsily in their tiny hands while you cheered with enthusiasm. “Glub! gub gub!”

He couldn’t help but let out a wide smile, his little baby was going to be just like their papa, an artist in the making and even better they were learning Glubglubnese. The video ends up with your other baby blowing bubbles to their sibling and they start wailing.

Watching the video, his heart ached with longing for his family. He was a father. He was your husband and he shouldn’t have to miss out on all these precious moments he has wanted with you for a long time. He wanted to be there in person and experience the joy with you.

He texts you while making long strides to the exit, ignoring all the reporters and critics that tried to approach him.

He was away for another business deal for a couple of days, a business deal that shouldn’t have taken this long and Sylus was getting irritated. “Mr. Sylus, we’re really sorry! Please give us a couple more days! We don’t know what happened to half of the inventory!” The man begged with desperation on his face but Sylus did not have the time for a couple more days.

Before Sylus could respond, his phone chimed with a familiar notification. He raises a finger, signaling for a moment while Luke and Kieran keep the restricted men distracted.

Opening his phone, he was met with an adorable video of your baby daughter. She was dressing up Mephisto in her doll clothes, her giggles flooding through the speakers of his phone. “Caw....” Mephisto caws defeatedly, his head drooping down. “Caw! caw!” Your daughter squeals, her laughter and yours was infectious as she lifts him up in the air, dashing around the living room with pure joy.

He couldn’t help but chuckle, a smile tugging at his lips as he watches the video. Once he clicked off his phone, a sigh escaped his lips. His heart ached with so much longing for you both and he couldn’t bear missing even more precious moments with you and your baby girl.

As Luke and Kieran snicker, stepping aside, crimson swirls began to surround the men, slowly suffocating them until they vanished into thin air.

“Send their team another warning. We’re going home.”

𓅪: The business deal is finally finished. I apologize for the wait, sweetie.

𓅪: I’ll call you both before I get on the plane. I hope I didn't miss much.

𓅪: I'll pick up more doll clothes for her on my way back.

Once he was in his private jet he couldn’t wait to have you and his baby girl in his arms again.

It’s Logan who sweeps you up. You know it is, because he’s a solid wall of a man under your hands where you’ve buried into him. His chest is warm and reassuring; you focus on it, trying to ground yourself even though you can taste your pulse thrumming in terror.

“It’s okay, baby. We’ve got you,” he mutters under his breath, a growl in your ear, a tender little secret of his softness shared between the two of you.

It had all been so sudden. You’d been taking the shortcut home after going shopping for tonight’s dinner when you’d felt someone grab you. Tomatoes had rolled across the ground, cans denting loudly as they fell, and you’d been dragged towards the back of the van as your captors loudly discussed if they had the right person. They said something about you fucking two mutants, and the bile with which they had spat it chilled you.

You’d been certain you were going to die. Cold fear flooded you, your eyes squeezed closed tight. Please, don’t let Logan and Wade find my body. They won’t be able to take it. If these guys are gonna kill me, let me just disappear.

Then again, that was before the claws came through the metal of the roof and all hell had broken loose. Guns went off and you screamed, unsure if they were Wade’s or not - but strong arms had picked you up and hauled you to safety.

You feel yourself being passed to someone else, Logan pushing you into Wade’s grip and giving him strict instructions to look after you, then he’s gone. The sounds of violence continue and, without thinking, you turn to look.

“Oh, no, honey, you don't need to see that. That’s just… plain disgusting,” says Wade, grimacing, “even looking at this mess is better than seeing what Peanut’s doing to those guys.”

Upon the word ‘mess’, he gestures to himself. Despite your heart hammering against your ribs, you reach up to press your hand against his cheek.

“Don’t talk about yourself like that, Wade. You came to save me.”

A flit of confusion crosses his face, knocking his usual bravado.

“You thought we’d just let them bundle you into their ‘not allowed within five hundred feet of schools’ van and disappear? Give us some credit. We’re not white knights, but we’re at least, y’know, morally grey knights.”

He says this to make you laugh, and it works. You’re distracted as the sounds of screams literally die out and Logan stalks back over. You see him removing his jacket to hide the blood on it from you. It’s still spread across his knuckles, though, a masterpiece of the revenge he just enacted.

“Don’t worry about them. They won’t be bothering you again,” he says with an air of finality. His hand raises to cup your face, so gentle with you, such a contrast to moments before. His voice is laced with a tenderness when he asks, “you doing okay?”

You nod. Yeah. With them here, you are doing okay.

“Thanks,” you manage, shakily, adrenaline leaving your body to give way to fat, rolling tears of relief. Not missing a beat, Wade looks Logan up and down.

“Hey, there’s still some viscera on your shirt, Peanut. Maybe you should take that off, too?”

“Watch it, bub,” he growls, but you can tell his heart isn’t really in it. They’re both just thankful that you’re safe.

A/N: these are loosely inspired from real life experiences I’ve had living on a military base, these men have a on & off switch it’s crazy

• Simon first saw you while he was in the States for a training exercise, he was out at one of the local bars with some of the other soldiers he was with

• Soap had actually asked for your number first & since he was so intoxicated you turned him down

• it was a long distance relationship at first (from personal experience it sucks in the beginning)

• you cried constantly whenever you saw some horrific news in the paper about what was going on overseas, the anxiety was awful

• but when he returned the reunions were euphoric

• you have a bottle of his cologne & aftershave so you can always feel close to him

• and you’d spray your perfume on the letters you sent so he couldn’t always smell the paper when he was missing you

• it took him sometime to open up to you about what had happened to him in his past, & your respected that

• when he first met your family, he was shocked by all the support he had received from them

• he asked your parents to marry you the first time he met them & showed them the ring too (ofc they said yes)

• he proposed to you in private after a nice dinner, he got choked up during the proposal

• your dad specifically was elated, he got to brag at how bad ass his son in law is

• your mom if she’s a teacher, had her entire class send cards, candy, anything they’d need in care packages Soap nearly cried when he opened the sweetest letter from a little girl (this actually happened irl my mom’s class did this & one guy got really choked up)

• Simon always would be your fiercest protector

• since he’s like an freakin tree he will guide your head with his bear paw of a hand in crowds

•he CANNOT sit with his back facing the door it stresses him out

•this man is strapped 24/7 whether that be a knife, bear spray etc. he’s ready

•he has a trauma kit in his car because “you never know”

•Simon is 1000% one of those apocalypse preppers you have freeze dried food, medicine, water, etc. he’s always on edge

• he sleeps with a damn rifle next to y’all’s bed

• you have a whole security system too

• your guy’s apartment is impeccable like you could eat off of the floor

• hell your guy’s bed has damn hospital corners

• Simon adopted a cat so you don’t feel as lonely when he’s deployed

• He’s your chonky boy & you do send plenty of photos to Simon when he’s deployed

• Gaz & Soap tease him about him living his “cat dad” life

• you start trying for a baby two years into your marriage

• Simon does fall victim to the “curse of the infantry” (which is not a negative thing btw it’s a running joke that infantry soldiers have all daughters) he makes girls

• he was deployed during your pregnancy & was worried sick he nearly missed the birth of your daughter

• that little girl is the most well protected baby in the whole world, the Task Force gifted him not just baby stuff but damn security for the nursery

• He watches your baby from his phone in the nursery on deployment, he was silently crying once when he was watching you sing a lullaby to your baby girl

•Price had to comfort him father to father

•In reality Simon has a very hard cold exterior at work for the sake of keeping his mental health for the profession he’s in but deep down he’s always held a soft spot & your relationship just brings it out

-Robotnik and Stone are married, very much married. Cartoon villains in love, I love that for them.

-["MARTHA I'M COMING HOME SWEETIE-"] Mixing up the movie things and the whatever's going on in the Sonic Boom, so Robotnik was gone for eight months and when he's back she's already born.

>Also the drawing is a reference to Icarly's "Whatcha got there?" "A smoothie" but she was clearly asking about the ostrich Spencer brought with him.

>Alternatively, Eggman's there and they go through the journey together yippiee. Choosing names, making evil parenting plans and whatever, being their idiot selves.

(After celebrating because they're good news actually) "I want a boy or a girl-" (Eggman) "Yeah me too." (Stone) "-and we should name them a single, worth of remembering name! Like... -In the one where he comes back and the baby's already there, Eggman does a terrible job as a father the few first months, but then he gets the hang of it and it's not so bad.

-In the one where they wait for her together, he does all the research necessary in all those months, absolutely refusing in doing an average job in that matter, he's the great Ivo Robotnik c'mon. He excels at anything and he'll be a great father (jk he's terrified of fucking up).

-The Stobotnik family is an evil but loving family, like the bears in Puss in Boots whwh criminal family✨

-For the funny of it, Sonic and Eggman got a sort of relationship like in Sonic Boom, so sometime maybe our favorite boy, Tails and Knuckles had to look after their child.

-Also since Knuckles broke Stone's and Robotnik's hands with their handshake, let's have him handle the baby with the most careful grip ever, just to demonstrate that he didn't have to grab their hands that hard aksdjask

-She's a big fan of Sonic and friends (Sonic the Hedgehog, not Sonic Wachowski, the second guy hadn't done even half the things she admires him for, but no one has the heart to tell her when she's a kid). Has a bunch of merch and all the comics of Sonic the Hedgehog.

-Remember that Shadow said in a game that he wouldn't mind taking a candy from a baby? (fandub I think but still) This comes in handy when neither Tails, Sonic or Knuckles want to upset the kid (so Shadow does it instead).

-She plays sports too because she got too much energy. In each of them she loses her patience. She grabs the football and hauls it at the nearest team member, she throws her baseball bat to the ground and starts beating up whoever threw the ball that she missed, she stomps in frustration if she loses, she's great at dodgeball (sends her classmates to the infirmary).

-Throws tantrums and stuff and overall's an annoying kid if she's upset. Eggman's like UGH WHY'S SHE LIKE THIS?? and Stone's like Because of you, doctor (terrible temperament runs in the family and also Robotnik just spoiled her too much).

-I'm kinda dressing her up in the clothes that existed in my mind that supposedly Eggman wore (the weird dress-like jacket with the big zipper in the middle). Under her jacket there's a dress in the same pattern as the original Eggman's clothes, also she wears a baby onesie like that too.

-When she's older she's definitely proud of her fathers, but she doesn't appreciate the rumors that she's prone to go power-crazy like Robotnik did. Especially because it may be true, but what do they know.

-For the irony, she can't stand drinking coffee, but loves the smell of it because it reminds her of home (omg).

-THEY HAVE A PET CAT like I read in some fics and her name is Robot and she's a lil shit and also grumpy like Robotnik.

Okay so super random but what if reader wants a puppy and finally convinces Rafe to get one ( he was expecting a big scary dog). Reader comes in with a little ✨Dachshund✨. Rafe is all grumpy about it especially since the Dachshund is getting ALL the attention. So a rivalry between them happens.

Oh this is so sweet! I had a dachshund as a kid! 🥺 I changed it up just a bit! Hope you enjoy!

A/N: Fluff! Rafe has beef with a puppy bc he’s so territorial! 🙄

“You have got to be fucking kidding me!” Rafe shouted, his patience worn thin at the sight on his bed. His side of the bed now completely overtaken by the little brown shit that’s been tormenting him since y/n brought it home. When she said she’d wanted a dog he was prepared to be the owner of a nicely bred beast. Maybe a doberman or cane corso he could train to protect them and attack with just a snap of his fingers or whistle of his mouth. No. His girl brought home this little floppy thing that has been taking over the attention and affections that so rightly belonged to him and he hates it. The puppy now laying on his pillow making him groan and run a hand over his face as y/n giggled at his reaction. He’s such a brat she thinks, how can he be so impatient with the sweet baby she brought home for them? He’s so perfect!

“Aww, you big baby! He likes you! He just wants to be with daddy.” She giggled to him, sitting up with her back against the headboard as she brought the puppy into her lap and nuzzled her nose against his. “Huh, my baby. You just wanna be with daddy, don’t you?” She cooed to it with a baby voice, giggling even more when it let out a little arf as it licked her nose and wiggled excitedly. Tail wagging with excitement as its long little body shook with happiness. Rafe just sneered and rolled his eyes, grumbling to himself as he changed into a pair of grey sweats ready to sleep after the long day he had. He moved to his side of the bed and threw the covers off, making a show of swiping his side as if it was dirty and turning over his pillow with a huff. Y/n rolled her eyes with a soft mocking smile on her lips. “Daddy don’t be mad, we love you.” She gave him big doe eyes that matched those of the little puppy in her lap, already trying to wriggle out of her grasp and trail over to his side once more.

“No! Keep that little shit over there and with you. I’m too fucking tired right now, alright?” He got into bed, a scowl on his face as he got under the covers and laid his head on his pillow. He closed his eyes and huffed out before relaxing into the mattress and throwing an arm over his eyes. “Get your ass over here. I don’t need to fight that little punk for my deserved attention.” He griped, his other arm opening up and signaling her to lay onto him. “But Rafey-,” she was cut off by a growl that rumbled from his chest. His patience was wearing thin. “I said. Get. Over. Here. Or so help me god, I’ll throw the dog out on the street right now. C’mere, now.” He left no room for argument and y/n rolled her eyes. Even laying down with his arm over his eyes he’s so demanding. She gave the puppy one last peck and nuzzled it with her nose. Setting him down and watching him move to the end of the bed and nested by their feet before curling up like a small little cinnamon roll. She then leaned over and rested her hand against Rafe’s bare chest as she pecked his lips softly while his arm wrapped around her. The arm over his eyes moved to grip the back of her head and press her lips to his harshly as she squeaked into his mouth. He forced his tongue in and ran it over hers a few times as she moaned into the kiss and relaxed into him. Her leg came to rest over him and she nuzzled into his side and ran her hand down his chest to his toned stomach. She loved how domineering he was when he got his hands on her.

“I had a hard day and I just want to go to sleep with my girl next to me, you think that’s too much to ask for?” He said lowly as he pulled back, their lips wet with saliva while her now lowered and sultry eyes nodded stared into his. Bringing the arm on his lower stomach to wrap around his neck as she nuzzled deeper into him and pressed a peck to his nose. Nuzzling it with her own as she gave him a soft smile. “M’kay. I love you.” She told him, immediately laying her head next to his on his pillow as she tightened her hold around his neck. On her stomach with her leg thrown over him while his arm under her wrapped around her waist. “I love you too, now go to sleep.” The two sighed softly with sleepiness, both of them immediately dozing off in each other’s arm and presence. The stress of the day lifting away from him as he entered dreamland. Little dachshund nuzzled at their feet in his own little word of sleep. The three of them a little family on the bed.

Sometime later in the middle of the night y/n woke up from the pressure in her bladder. She blinked the sleep out of her eyes careful not to mess up her lashes as she lightly rubbed them. Rafe’s arm still around her as his head was bent to the other side, soft breathes and snores leaving him while his chest moved up and down softly. She gave him a warm smile and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek before making the effort to move slowly as to not wake him. But Rafe’s a light sleeper and the loss of his favorite pillow was definitely affecting him. His arm tightening while she pushed back against it to get out of his grip. “Go back to sleep.” He mumbled to her, voice raspy from his slumber and his eyes still shut. Y/n sighed and pushed against his arm harder as she told him, “I have to go pee.” Rafe grumbled before removing his hold on her and relaxing against the mattress once more while he mumbled a “hurry up.” He hated sleeping without her.

Y/n quickly slipped out of bed and put on her pink, fluffy slippers while she walked quietly to the door. Turning her head back to observe her sleeping puppy and her sleeping man. Both having the biggest place in her heart as she smiled and gently opened the door, shuffling outside quietly and walking down the hall to the restroom. She knew Rafe would warm up to their baby eventually he just had to be a little ass about it first.

Eventually y/n made it back to the room, having gone down to get some water and munch on a couple snacks. She quietly opened their bedroom door and shuffled in, the sight she saw making her insides warm up and heart swell so much she swore it’d pop out of her chest. There he was, their little dachshund nuzzling next to his Rafe’s head as he had an arm wrapped around it. His face nuzzling into the puppy as his thumb stroked it back and forth. Y/n smiled and took off her slippers before getting onto the bed gently and reaching for her phone to take a picture of the soft moment. About to unlock it when a voice gritty with sleep spoke up. “Don’t even think about it. I just missed you, alright?” Rafe spoke, face still nuzzled into the puppy with his eyes still closed. He opened his tired eyes slowly and looked at her as she sat up and smiled at him with a mocking smirk that said everything. Rafe rolled his eyes before he lifted his arm and gestured for her to join them. She could never say no to that.

Y/n immediately laid on her side and wrapped her arm around his waist, their legs tangling together as they laid on their sides with the sleeping puppy inbetween them, his little head turned to y/n. They both nuzzled into it, encasing it between them as they all relaxed. “I’ll admit he’s a good sleep buddy.” Rafe said softly, their eyes looking into each other’s as the room filled with love. Y/n just shook her head with a smile as she replied, “I knew that, you’re just too stubborn to like anything until it’s proven worthy to you.” She meant it, he’s always so stubborn but it’s such an endearing trait of his, at times. Rafe just rolled his eyes as the puppy twitched between them, paws stretching up from its position on his back as he turned over on his side and nuzzled deeper into Rafe. “Whatever, go to sleep.” He said gruffly before closing his eyes and sighing with contentment as he allowed his sleepy daze to succumb him once more. Y/n following shortly but not before staring at them nuzzled into each other, closing her eyes with a smile as she fell into her own sleep. She knew he’d love the puppy.
