This. Is. Genocide we are talking about- WHY ARE WE TRYING TO DOWNPLAY OR SILENCE THAT??! Why?! I’m sick and I am tired of these businesses siding with the oppressor and aren’t seeing the glaring issue (or I’m realizing they don’t give a damn). I’m tired of the fact USA is siding with them to the point of denying for the ceasefire the SECOND TIME MIND YOU!! So again we here the grey area? There isn’t. This is a genocide plain and simple.

More people need to start talking about this. More people need to boycott. More people just need to do whatever they can to help Palestine (and Sudan and Congo). Donate, calling rep, anything. This can’t go on as 2024 rolls the corner. They need our help. And we need to help them.

If I sound angry in this post, I’m not sorry. This is upsetting and you should find this upsetting too.

Just wanted to say my piece regarding the Gaza gofundme campaigns. I understand skepticism and being scared of a scam and not wanting to trust bloggers that vet them to a certain extent.

But I notice we often commission artists from all over the world and trust that they will deliver on promised art you paid for and won’t hack your account or be a scam, etc because so and so blogger received their art and can vouch for them. Absolutely valid.

Though, I remember when in the Dragon Age fandom, there was an artist who scammed A LOT of people and that didn’t make everyone stop commissioning art. It just taught us all not to commission that one artist.

My point is that, isn’t it worth the risk to help someone else’s life for the slim chance that you will be scammed? Just as it’s worth the risk commissioning an artist you don’t know, it’s worth it to donate to vetted campaigns. I cannot force you to suspend your skepticism but I can ask you to kindly consider at least reblogging the campaigns so the word can be spread around to those who can donate.

These are other people with families living in conditions most of us on here cannot even remotely relate to or even fathom. So I just kindly ask that you please consider reblogging at minimum.

this is going to very different from my usual content, but it needs to be said now, loud and clear.

while I'm not going to get up on some soapbox and talk politics, cause they are quite frankly not my thing, it makes my head spin and I would surely misspeak like an idiot and make a fool of myself, if not do harm with my lack of political knowledge.

what I will do is say I stand with Palestine with no if's and's but's or exceptions of any kind, and if you don't stand with Palestine in that manner do us both a favor and block me now.

no one, not a single soul on this earth, deserves what Palestine has gone through in the last few decades, much less the last few weeks.

what Israel has been doing in just the last few weeks alone goes so far beyond sickening I don't have words to describe it. they're bombing innocent people, civilian homes, schools, hospitals, and ambulances of all things. targeting people fleeing on the route they told them to take, forging 'evidence' of heinous crimes that never took place, spreading horrific propaganda, the lot of it. not to mention this has been going on for decades, that barely scratches the surface of it all.

they are calling Palestinian's animals, cutting off food and water and power, cutting off the internet to silence them and it is sickening.

Palestine deserves to be free, they deserve peace and prosperity, they deserve to live and if you disagree with that, you are a monster. Palestine has done nothing to deserve this, nothing to deserve decades of apartheid, mass bombings and violence, having the world turned on them in their greatest time of need, it is sick.

this isn't some fancy speech, I know, this is just the thoughts and feelings of some stupid young (white) american who is for all intents and purposes unaffected by this genocide outside of how its tearing my heart to shreds. I don't know everything, hell I don't know anything, but my feelings stand, no one deserves to be genocided, especially not Palestine, and they need every ounce of our support.
