do you ever get so tired that you see a trope you've disliked for years and within a span of five minutes stop being tired and suddenly feel invigorated?? because you've just discovered that this trope is the best thing that's ever existed!! and then you spend thirty minutes drawing a really detailed comic about it (also you have never even considered comic format for anything you've ever drawn) and the comic is actually well above your normal drawing ability. and then you sleep for a really long time and you wake up and remember how to function like a person and you're once again not interested in the trope but now you have a really well-drawn comic that you also aren't interested in

It’s Bisexuality Visibility Month (also Suicide Awareness Month), and the biphobia has been constant and intense, even in our own bi spaces, mostly from fellow LGBTQIA+ people.

Bi women have been told they are tainted for being with men, that we are dirty and dick obsessed. We’ve been told we are perverted fetishists by both cis and trans lesbians, with even gay men joining in on the insults, with one even threatening violence towards bi women if they come near lesbians. We even got told we deserve to be abused, raped, and murdered by our male partners because that’s what we deserve for dating men.

Bi men are being accused again for being HIV carriers, with gay men saying they are only good for sex because they will end up leaving them for women. One trans man said he would kill himself if a man started dating a woman after him, not leave him for one but just start dating again and that person being a woman.

I haven’t seen insults directly about non-binary bisexuals, but I’m sure there would be and a lot of hate lumps us all together. All this hates stings me but I can’t imagine the pain of all this for non-binary, trans women, and trans men dealing with it all, and it makes me so disappointed and angry that fellow trans people in this community are hurting them.

Pride Month a lesbian wrote “I wish god would eradicate all the bisexuals” while another wrote “For Pride Month let all the bi people disappear” with both having thousands of likes and comments agreeing. Now during Bi Visibility Month, a non-binary lesbian with feminist in their profile posted “Happy bi visibility month, I hope they find a cure soon 💖”. While continuing to mock us after.

Our allies and so-called LGBTQIA+ advocates have been silent and have even participated in bierasure, laughing at us when we point it out, saying “It’s not that serious.” “Lol the bis are getting upset over nothing again”. Only the bisexual advocates and pages have spoken out against the hate.

The B in LGBTQIA+ is suppose to be for bisexual but this community says and treats us as awfully as the bigots do to all of us. Bisexual is the sexuality that is attracted to two or more genders, that we have the ability to love anyone regardless of their gender. But we’re treated as greedy, perverted, hyper sexual, unfaithful, which from bigots you understand and usually brush off, but from those within the community who go through similar prejudice and should understand, sharing the same ignorant mindset.

These spaces are suppose to be our safe havens as well, but are just as dangerous. We try making our own spaces and even that is invaded by these people, we are beyond exhausted. We need the other members of the community that aren’t biphobic to speak out more and shut these people and this hate down. Because the lack of empathy from this community is frightening and all this in-fighting will allow the bigots to pick us a part more easily.

Consider Yelan's facial expression to be my own in reaction to opinions shared on both X and Tumblr, and I guess I'm in the minority of the 'loud ones', but I'm pretty excited for Natlan since that trailer, actually. The previous teasers left me a little 'eh', but this definitely got my hopes back up, and I'm back in the right spirits for it (and ready to catch some Pokémon.)

Now I wouldn't be me if I didn't touch on the salt that I've seen scattered across the dash, so here I go. Listen, I read people's objections and I see what you're all aiming at, but in that light want to note that it's often incredibly easy to point fingers (arguably too much so) at others while being, quite honestly, hopefully rather aware that many of our own countries, cultures, and its populations across the board (and no, I'm not excluding anyone here) would likely be just as easily guilty as MHY is with these things. And no, I'm not blindly defending them, but I also won't point fingers at only one without pointing them everywhere else as well, including those you might think would 'never do such things', because I'm absolutely certain that they would. /continues on in the tags.

DOS2 combat gets easier once you realise that it's not just about getting enemies' HP to 0, but you need to do everything in your power so that enemy NPCs don't get to do anything when it's their turn.

When they have no armour at all, neither physical nor magic, they're an easy target, because there's a wide variety of ways to stop them - knockdown, stun, charm, freeze, sleep, petrification, etc.

I've learned that there's often no point spreading the damage between physical and magic if you can help it, because it just makes chewing through both kinds of armour take longer (unless you have to, of course).

When they have much less physical armour than magic, then you wear them down with physical attacks, until they have no physical armour left, then knock them down or turn them into a chicken. Atrophy can be helpful against melee combatants, but not 100% reliable.

When they have much less magic armour than physical, you zap them with magic until there's no magic armour left, then freeze them, or stun, or petrify, or charm, or put them to sleep, etc. Plenty of options there.

And when they also have the Perseverance talent (the most annoying one ever), so you don't want to stun them or knock them down, because the talent makes their physical and magic armour regenerate after most disabling statuses, guess what - IT'S CHICKEN TIME! THE CHICKEN CLAW SPELL STILL WORKS! Oh, the chicken form has timed out? MORE CHICKEN TIME! Learn Chicken Claw. And always carry some back up Chicken Claw scrolls. Not even the biggest dragon or the meanest demon can hurt you when it's a chicken. 👍🐔

The worst things about making WD just be W.D. Gaster Junior are that 1) the whole story reason for me giving him yellow magic instantly becomes null, and 2) it is now really unclear how Tempus is related to literally anybody. (Is he WD’s first cousin? Or is he Wingdings�� cousin’s kid’s kid? (first cousin twice removed (to Wingdings), and consequently WD’s third cousin?) This is relevant mainly because ⁂ Tempus is ⁂ Gaster’s first cousin. There’s only one “Wingdings Gaster” there, so whether Tempus is arbitrarily first cousins with a Wingdings Gaster across universes, or whether the relationship must be to the Wingdings Gaster is actually kind of important. To me.)

And, 3) if I do this then what happens to WD. He’s not in the game. (Obviously.) Is he just dead? Is he somewhere else? This logic doesn’t apply to Tempus who definitely ended up doing something else after the lab sized down and stuff, so he’s just not around. But WD DEFINITELY would’ve been the next Royal Scientist unless something happened to him.

Is this just a completely canon-divergent AU now??

I mean. It would be kinda funny if WD was very very briefly the RS only to meet the exact same fate (or just straight up die instead). And so when the Followers talk about “the old Royal Scientist, Dr. W.D. Gaster,” they just kinda lump WD in there since he had the exact same name and only lasted like, a month. Tops.

Alternatively, WD finally gets Gifted Kid Burnout and has a breakdown and that’s why he’s not around during the events of the game. (Maybe Tempus is busy taking care of him and that’s why he’s not around either.)

Also, what’s going on with Asteri? Is she Wingdings’ wife? (Second wife?? Since his descendants are skeletons?) Or is she WD’s girlfriend? (Or just regular friend in his age group?) The latter makes more sense story-wise, as far as befriending Seeker (the character). But it has similarly funny meta implications (to me, anyway) as Tempus potentially being WD’s first cousin and the grandson of the actual Dr. W.D. Gaster.

(Because when you flip back over to ⁂, everything gets all kinds of wonky. And ofc it doesn’t have to be perfectly congruent… it’s just kind of strange to me.)
