What made you ship it?

da train scene.. but seeing Tanjiro crying over Kyo at their last scene together is what nailed me to this ship 😭😭😭 it was so good.. sad yet bittersweet.. and you can see that even gone Kyojuro is still very much there throughout his journey and how could i not ship that lmao..

WHY THEY DON'T HAVE MUCH OFFICIAL ART TOGETHER??? LIKE COME ON HANTENGU/URAMI IS THE FIRST DEMON WHERE TANJIRO LEAD THE ATTACK AND EVEN KILL THE MAIN BODY HIMSELF. SURE HE GOT HELP BUT TANJIRO IS MOSTLY THE ONE WHO FIND OUT HANTENGUS WEAKNESSES LIKE COME ON. IS IT BECAUSE HE'S UGLY???? Okay I am confused. I have never hear of okaeri tadaima yoru no yorimichi. Is it new work or a side story? I checked the other blog and manga updates and couldn't find anything with this title. Thanks for any info!

Byodo-in

Byodo-in is a Buddhist temple complex at Uji, south of Kyoto, which was founded in 1052 CE by the important court official and regent Fujiwara no Yorimichi. The large Phoenix Hall is one of the finest surviving examples of architecture from the Heian Period (794-1185 CE) and is often referred to as the most beautiful building in Japan. Byodo-in is listed as a National Treasure of Japan and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Foundation & Purpose

The temple was founded in 1052 CE by Fujiwara no Yorimichi (992-1074 CE), leader of the powerful Fujiwara clan which dominated Japanese government in the Heian Period. Yorimichi actually built on one of the estates of his famous father Fujiwara no Michinaga (966-1028 CE), who had turned to Buddhism late in his life and built an opulent villa there in 998 CE. The date is a significant one in Buddhism as it was believed that year marked the end of an era and the beginning of a new period when decadence among the ruling class would adversely affect the appeal of Buddhism and cause a feeling of pessimism amongst the populace. Now, more than ever, an impressive Buddhist temple would be needed.

Oh, god, ch 6 might have had the “Fundamentally I’m someone who acts with ulterior motives” / “Ulterior motives?” / “It’s all right if you don’t understand” interaction—or if not, then ch 7. That nearly killed me in the novel, and the manga just might have finished the job.

Or imagine if it got to the dōjō yaburi and Yuni’s smile that bares his canines, which I think makes him look pretty reliable, but all Chika can think when he sees it is that this guy really is related to Kuroba Yorimichi?

Or in the second novel with Ochi kneeling and resting his forehead on Subaru’s hands while Subaru softly tells him to say it (“Make me a manager at HaruKou’s center court”) even if it’s a lie, and Ochi says that he won’t lie and him wanting to go hasn’t changed, it’s his dream to cheer them on from the bench at center court, so he’d better make him a manager at HaruKou’s center court??

I really hope this manga gets taken off hiatus at some point, because I need it to murder me.
