hello, anon! i am happy to breakdown what i am working on! that sounds fun! previously, i had an updates page where i did this very thing, but things got overwhelming and i stopped remembering to update the updates page, so.......i deleted it lmao.

in addition to writing chapters for my main stories, i also do oneshots for various ao3 fests, and other collaborations. i have a lot of wips in the rotation but the main things i am working on literally right now that i want to turn over first, are:

i am also working on bringing back Serendipity and putting together some prequel-type oneshots for Boy Blue, that i want to have ready before i dive into the sequel (which i should be ready to start some time in january, if all goes well.)

this is pretty much how my entire summer looked, too lmao. signing up for far too many fests and collabs without considering time for burning out and taking a break. after november, things will be slowing way down and i will be focusing more on the stories than on oneshots. i want to have dollhouse all wrapped up by new year, if i can help it.

"Have you noticed Hyung has been off?"

"Yeah. He has eye bags for days."

"Come on, I have an idea." Jimin followed the younger upstairs to their bedroom. He stripped the bed of the comforter and pillows. "Help me move this."

Yoongi collapsed on the couch. Jimin bounced over, quickly grabbing and pulling the elder's hand.

"Come on, hyung. We've something to show you."

"Not right now, Jiminie. I'm tired."

"Please? It's a surprise for you." Finally, Yoongi allowed himself to be dragged by the younger. Jimin leads him around to the other end of the couch.

"Look what we made for you!" Sheets held up by chairs towered their newly made bed. The king-size mattress lay on the floor in front of the T.V, covered in thick blankets.

"Don't you like it?"

"I love it," he ruffled the other's hair. "Thank you." Jungkook raced down the stairs and attacked the older in a giant hug.

"Hyung! Did you see our surprise?"

"I did, thank you very much." Jungkook smiled, taking his hand and leading him up the stairs. He helped get the older all ready for bed before bringing him back down. Both Jimin and Jungkook made Yoongi lay down in the middle of the mattress. They covered him in blankets before laying next to him. Yoongi smiled and snuggled into the warmth as the two wrapped him in their arms.

"What is this, Jimin-ah? What are we supposed to be doing?"

"..."

"We finally held a proper conversation after nearly eight years... you accepted my apologies, you let me back into your life and I never expected anything from you---"

"Then why did you kept coming back every night?!" Jimin angrily calls him out. "Why the calls? The texts? The spontaneous late night visits if you expected nothing all along?"

"I don't know." Yoongi admits honestly, letting his shoulders sag slightly. "Maybe because I thought we were fine now; that we had  finally left everything behind."

Jimin sighs heavily and shakes his head while beginning to pace on the sidewalk.

"You really don't get it." The blonde whispers after a moment. "You think, assume and imagine but you still don't understand anything even after all these years."

Frustrated, Yoongi steps forward and roughly grabs him by the forearm, Forcing Jimin to face him again. "Then help me understand!" He shouts, having had enough of this charade.

"Understand what?!" Jimin shouts back. "That you left? That you ran away just like Jin-hyung while I had to stay here and face every GODDAMN DAY the consequences of your--” For a moment he stops himself from saying the next words, but the fire in his heart was far from simmering down as they instead fall out in a sneer.

“Our mistake.”

I’ve been working on this one on and off along side “Lunatic High” and the Daechwita one (also yoonmin) since I can’t really sleep, its been raining like crazy here which results in very cold weather (add to that my toxic neighbor having late night get-togethers with her drinking buddies at unholy hours in the night). So I use this time to write as much as I can till I actually start to fall asleep. XD (not healthy, I know, but we’re in a pandemic so meh)

I think I’ve mentioned before that this oneshot is based on HYYH universe (I NEED U/RUN eras), but it takes place 8-9 years into the future and also this really old fan theory that there was a Love Triangle between YoonMinKook, which perhaps led to the fight between Yoonkook during “RUN”.

“TAETAE LOOKIE! KOOKIE GOT CHOCOLATE!” Jungkook yelled as he ran into the dining room, jumping onto his boyfriend’s lap with his basket of candy swinging from his hand. Taehyung looked up from his phone to smile adoringly at his boyfriend, who had been in little space since yesterday because he had been excited for all the chocolate he could find for Easter. Hugging Jungkook, Taehyung cooed “Aww Kookie, you found so much chocolate!”

“Don’t eat too much chocolate, though. You know your tummy aches when you eat too much candy in one day.” JIn reminded the Little, only to receive a sarcastic look from Jimin who smiled sweetly as he replied “It’s nice to know that you care about his physical health, but not what he can hear.” 

Taehyung buried his face into Kookie’s shoulder as he laughed at Jimin’s sassy comment with Jungkook sitting on his lap, happily munching away on one of the pretty blue eggs he had found hidden all around the living room in his Mama and Papa’s gigantic apartment. His Mama and Papa had said that he could only find the eggs in the living room, but he could go find the rest of the eggs in the apartment after lunch.

“You cannot still be upset about that, Minnie! We’ve apologized a million times already!” Jin whined then gulped when Jimin glared at him as he hissed “Only hyungie can call me Minnie!”

“What’s wrong, love? Who upset you?” Yoongi asked, walking into the dining room from the kitchen with a plate of japchae. Setting it down, he grunted when Jimin rushed into his open arms, whining “Hyungie, make Jin stop bullying me and Kookie!”

Yoongi’s eyes narrowed onto Jin’s form as he snarled angrily “So it wasn’t enough that you scarred Kookie but you’re now bullying him and Jimin?”

“B-But I didn’t bully them!” Jin defended himself weakly against the younger’s icy look. Quickly, Namjoon intervened before things could get out of hand “Yoongi-hyung, how many eggs did you guys hide in the apartment? Kookie’s already found like at least 27 eggs.”

“There’s 125 eggs total hidden in the apartment, but don’t think you two are getting off this easy.” Yoongi answered, his eyes promising pain and torture for bullying his baby bunny and boyfriend. Jimin snickered to himself, knowing very well that his hyungie was just playing with them.

“Mama, Kookie’s hungry.” Jungkook stated with a pout beginning to form on his lips while his tummy began rumbling. Jimin smiled lovingly back at the little as he cooed “Why don’t you and Taetae go wash up for lunch then?”

Jungkook nodded, putting his basket of candy onto the floor then dragged Taehyung off to the bathroom. Pulling away from Jimin, Yoongi placed the basket in the living room then went back into the kitchen to get the rest of the dishes. Just as he placed the last dish down on the table, there was knocking at the door. Opening it, Jimin welcomed Hoseok and Jeonghan into the apartment, leading them to the dining room where everyone was waiting.

“Happy Easter, Kookie! How many eggs did you find?” Hoseok asked the beaming little, who responded with a cute smile “I found lots of eggs! Mama and Papa say there’s more in the other rooms, but I has to eat lunch first!”

“Wow, that’s a lot of eggs, Kookie! Can I help you find them later?” Jeonghan asked, falling victim to little Jungkook’s charms. 

“59...60...61...62...63...64...” Jungkook counted his candy slowly, a frown on his usually smiling face. When he finished counting, he pouted heavily as he walked over to his Papa. Climbing into his Papa’s lap, he whined sadly “Papa, someone took my candy!”

Arching a confused eyebrow, Yoongi asked “Baby bunny, what makes you say that? Who could’ve taken your candy?”

“Kookie found all the eggs in the apartment and only ate 3 pieces cause Mama says Kookie’s tummy will hurt if he eats any more and he gave four pieces of candy to everybody but Kookie gave Mama and Papa six pieces, but Kookie only counted 77 candies in his basket now!” Jungkook explained, showing the basket to Yoongi. Yoongi frowned as he muttered “That is weird. Let’s go ask Mama and see if he knows, okay, baby?”

Jungkook nodded, clinging onto his Papa as he was carried into their bedroom, where Jimin was sleeping. Quietly, Jungkook and Yoongi both got onto the bed with Jungkook whispering urgently “Mama! Mama! Up! Up!”

“Huh? What’s wrong, honey?” Jimin asked groggily, his eyes fluttering open. Jungkook pouted as he explained once again “Kookie’s candies are missing!”

“BunBun, what do you mean?” Jimin asked, confused about what Jungkook was talking about. He remembered that Jungkook had found all the eggs he and Yoongi had hid around the apartment, Jungkook had been allowed three pieces of candy, then Jungkook had given some of his candy away to their friends for coming over for Easter lunch. 

“Baby, do you know what might have happened to some of Kookie’s eggs? He should have like 90 pieces of candy left, but he only has 77 pieces.” Yoongi asked, kissing Jimin softly. Jimin frowned as he thought back to what happened in the day but shook his head, not knowing what happened. 

“I’m sorry, baby but I don’t know what happened to your candy.” Jimin said sadly, hugging Jungkook. Jungkook continued to pout but said “It’s okay! Kookie has Mama and Papa and Taetae and I already has a lot of chocolate!”

“What a good bunny you are, Kookie.” Jimin kissed the tip of Jungkook’s nose gently.

“Uh, Jinnie-hyung? Why do you have so much chocolate?” Namjoon asked warily, eying the pile of chocolate on their dining table. Jin grinned as he responded “It’s Easter, silly! You gotta have candy for Easter!”

“........you took them from Kookie’s basket when he wasn’t looking, didn’t you?” 

“...............Maybe?”

“Oh, boy.”

‘Kay so I’ve had my twitter account for the past 24 hrs or so and from what little bit of info the bird app provides. Along with the following fics that I shared:

What I’ve gathered is that people have “engaged” more with all of the fics that contain either “yoonmin” or “jikook” WITH yoonmin on the side or vice versa (so basically YoonMinKook together).

The ones that contain “jikook” or “vmin” alone had the least engagement.

I even wrote the same post I shared here earlier about the Yoonmin au fic I have on Drafts. And almost immediately got tons of engagement compared to a random post I made earlier in the day complaining about twitter’s lack of a functional “Edit Post” option despite the many upgrades the social network has gone through in the past years that even FB has started to loose users who are migrating to the bird app.

House of Cards by sugamins (orphan account) - Maknaeline ot3 business, taekook, jikook and vmin, some subtle yoonmin on the side. Honestly, I can’t express how good this fic is. It’s a gang AU and I know a TON of y’all have probably already read it but for those of you who haven’t, it seriously is my very favorite fanfic ever. It’s graphic but very emotionally powerful and just, ugh. Read it. 25 chapters

hold me tight (can you trust me) by linzeigh (tumblr -- @kimseokjinsthighs) - Jikook, Jinmin and Jinkook. A cheating fic with a bit of unhealthiness but very real emotions, it’s really, really powerful and fabulous. 9 chapters

Backseat by nomilkonlysuga (Umekozaru)  - I’m yoonminkook trash and this is just a really fabulous ot3 oneshot. So it fulfills my cravings for both yoonmin and jikook (and I originally read it in my odd transition phase where I went from a hardcore yoonmin shipper to a jikook or bust shipper so it speaks to me on a lot of levels). Oneshot

check one two by gangbang - Maknae Line again. Camboy!Jimin has rookie camboys Taehyung and Jungkook as guests on his show. Hot filthy sex ensues. It’s fab. (Also read everything written by gangbang -- it’s all really good.) Oneshot

if i get in, i just might drown by fatal (cumrich) - Jikook ABO, alpha jungkook and omega jimin. honestly this might be the first jikook fic that I read and it was 1000% the inspiration for my fic Helpless. It’s absolute filth (which as you all know is my favorite thing) and it’s just really, really good. Oneshot

As You Are by jonghyunslisterine - Jikook shibari photoshoot business. Jungkook is the photographer and Jimin is his model. It’s really well-written. Love this one lots. 2 chapters

Swamp Magic by GinForInk (tumblr -- @ginforink) - Maknae Line once again! vmin are witches and Jungkook is a human that stumbles into their life and I won’t spoil anything but they have some crazy adventures and a blooming, struggling relationship! Despite the supernatural elements, it’s very real and lovely. 7 chapters (it’s marked complete but the author has mentioned that they may add to it at any point lol)

Tastes Like Victory by  eumorious - Jikook underground fighter au! Jungkook is a fighter and Jimin is a stripper who has some bad business with his boss. They struggle to form their relationship and get into some deep shit. Honestly I’m so MAD AT MYSELF BC I HAVENT FINISHED READING IT YET EVEN THOUGH THE LAST CHAPTER WENT UP A WHILE AGO. Tbh probs gonna reread the whole thing soon. Anyhow, it’s VERY GOOD and I highly recommend. 13 chapters

read between the (panty) lines by TheHalesNyx (tumblr -- @lunaticmyngi) - ot3 yoonkookmin with camboy!Jungkook and roommates!yoonmin. Things go awry and it’s a mess that they struggle to fix but it’s really lovely. Lots of opening up to each other and looking out for one another. Really beautiful. 5/6 chapters

Whiskey by psychojimin (tumblr -- @psychojimin) - Another Jikook ABO lol (I’m trash, kill me -- I promise I’ll do another post without a ton of ABO lol -- gimme like a month). This one is REALLY good too. Like, wow, can’t even explain. Again, it’s really related to that whole primal instincts thing but it really focuses on Jimin fighting against his instincts and making his own way. (oh yeah it’s also camboy omega jimin and gamer alpha jungkook) 4/? chapters
