a rattling wakes you from your sweet sleep. something heavy has fallen to the floor. tired, you whimper and dive deeper into the blanket to protect yourself from the outside world: the sound, the sunlight coming through the window and the cold.

"damn," you hear the swearing as someone crawls back on the bed, wrapping their arms around your waist. you realise that the chill you felt was due to the fact that he wasn't lying behind you.

"did you fall, joonie?" you look out from under the duvet with half-closed eyes. the answer is an annoyed hum. "are you okay?" he buries his face in your neck and nods.

"go back to sleep. jin's alarm will go off soon, but you can rest until then."

you sigh and pull him closer to your back.

"you too." you roll over him, squeezing him a little, eliciting a surprised groan from him, and bury your head in his chest, pushing him further into the mattress. "i won't let you fall down again." namjoon smiles at how sweet you are half asleep, before sleeping again.

☼ hoseok ┊ yoongi ☼

you wake up to a gentle caress. the skin of your face, neck and shoulders tingle gratefully with the touch.

"what time is it? what day is it? what year is it? where am i? who am i?" you mutter a barrage of questions as you find yourself confronted with hoseok's smile and loving gaze. you usually wake up to this beautiful sight, and each time pushes you into oblivion: only he exists.

"haha, i ask the same question every time i see you two," hoseok giggles, then starts stroking and arranging your hair like you used to do with his.

"shut up!", yoongi groans tiredly, and then, hugging the other boy tighter, he presses a kiss on his shoulder, burying his head in the smaller boy's neck.

"grumpy sleepyhead," you laugh, and crawl closer to them, pushing the blanket a little lower over your body so you can hug more effectively.

yoongi sighs a couple of times and settles in again before kissing you to let you know that he is fine, that everything was fine with the nap, but that he would like to rest.

"another half an hour?" hoseok offers to the man lying behind him.

"one."

"fine, but you'll do the breakfast then" you agree, and greet hobie with a morning kiss.

"hmn." the eldest reaches out his arm to gently caress your waist until your wakefulness wears off.

☼ taehyung ┊ jungkook ☼

in the morning your only wish is to wake up in the arms of your boyfriends. although this is achieved, waking up now is unpleasant because of the noise it causes.

"it can't be true," jungkook mutters angrily, unbelievingly, against the thin skin of your neck, hugging you tighter. he wants to hide behind you, but when the horrible concert refuses to end, he groans crankily.

he sighs contently as he presses the pillow over his head, revealing more of his upper-body artistry: the sharp lines of his shoulders, his biceps and triceps, his abdominal wall thanks to the sliding blanket.

you're not happy about his estrangement, but you accept and understand it, hoping both of you get back to your dreams.

you imagine his chubby cheeks, parted locks and half-open eyes, so that you can go back to sleep, but the activity is precluded by the noise from outside.

"who's the idiot who mows the lawn at 4.30 a.m. on a sunday?" taehyung grumbles to his partners, or rather to you, that he is now half awake, but not in the mood.

"our neighbor, auntie kwon's daughter, who's been grumpy from the first moment she saw us."

"what can i say, she's off to a good start on her first day at her mother's." the eldest clings to you, pulls his body up on the bed and buries his head in the pillow. "i don't think i'll sleep until tonight." he declares that he's given up trying, unlike jungkook, who shows no signs of life except for breathing, so you conclude that his plan worked and he's taking a nap successfully.

"i'll join you," you announce, and kiss him. you're lucky to open your eyes, because it means you get to share in the sight of taehyung's first smile of the day. your heart melts, and only continues to flow as the other pulls the blanket over you to give you a more private kiss.

getting lost in the sound of your kissing and your occasional bursts of laughter, it feels like the lawn mower has been turned down. only you and taehyung exist, this is your own realm under the covers.

but the world will only be complete when jungkook resigns himself to the fact that he can no longer nap and climbs under the blanket, hoping to get some of the innocent love you are showering on each other.

his dreams come true, as taehyung leans over you and greets him with his lips, and you do the same after turning to him. meanwhile, taehyung is kissing your neck with sloppy kisses, and every area he can reach from the top of your pyjamas.

you'll sink into the tender caress: in this loving, sensual atmosphere, there's no room for anything heavy or distracting, neither of your minds focused on the song of the fierce shearing tool, but on each other, on the more precious, priceless spiritual factors.

you prefer to be woken by jimin, because you don't like ringtones, and he wakes the earliest of the three of you, snuggled up to your neck.

"pretty" this is how he starts the process, with little caresses and pecks. he continues to call and caress you until you wake up, embracing him, expressing that you are awake.

"good morning!" you return his many pecks with a kiss, then turn to your other side. if yoongi is not hanging around your waist then usually by morning he is facing the wall.

now it's your turn to wake up. you cover the free skin with your lips, and you're satisfied when the boy whimpers, it's a state of half-sleep.

"love!" you nuzzle against his body, whispering sweetly. you're getting a little chilly, you've pulled the covers off during the night. "chim and i want to cuddle you before breakfast." the boy, as if yoongi sees something of him, nods vigorously.

"hug each other," he murmurs, uninterested in the subject.

"are you trading us for sleep? is that what this is about?" you gasp in indignation, disappointment at his reaction. before you can really believe he's that mean, he flashes a yoongi grin and pulls you into his embrace. a surprised chuckle breaks out from you, and as jimin joins in, the three of you laugh at nothing, at sweet nothingness.

The pub, if anyone could even call it that, as it was more of a dive bar, was dimly lit and certainly one in which they did not ask questions and people would not bother looking for them there. Yoongi swirled the whiskey around in his glass, the two blocks of ice clinking against each other, and looked at his phone, waiting for an answer.  He had sent the address a little earlier, and logically knew it could get him even longer to get there, depending on where he had been before, but his fingers still shook slightly as he pressed the buttons.

He was on his second glass - and maybe he had drunk the first quicker than usual - when the door of the shady place opened up and there stood him, Park Jimin, model and South Korea’s sweetheart. And there in that seat waiting for him, Min Yoongi, rockstar, black sheep, and purveyor of scandals galore (albeit none of them true).  

Jimin’s walk was mesmerizing to Yoongi, sultry, enticing, sometimes even without intention. “This isn’t the… best place.” Jimin said.

“But no one will recognize you here.”

“You know I don’t mind…” Jimin started, but was interrupted.

“My reputation is at its worst right now. Are you sure you want to be seen with me?” Yoongi asked, right hand twirling the glass and trying to control the shaking.

Jimin sat down by his side, getting closer to him. “You know that I know the rumors aren’t true. And I don’t care about them.” 

Yoongi hesitated, a spark of hope starting to inflate in his heart. “Still. Our situation is… delicate.”

“Yet you still called me here.” Jimin’s response froze Yoongi, hand halfway to his mouth to sip more alcohol.

Each and every time they would have a similar conversation. Their delicate situation had been going for over a year, and they still had not defined a label or gone public. Yoongi wondered when Jimin was going to get tired of this - of him. Jimin was even sporting dark jeans and sneakers, something Yoongi never thought he would see the model wearing. All for the discretion; meeting in inconspicuous clothes, in shady places, sometimes for mere fleeting moments. 

Yoongi put the glass down with a soft noise on the counter, a confession escaping his lips. “I like to pretend you’re mine.” 

“I am yours. If you want to. If it’s cool with you.” Jimin draped his hand over Yoongi’s. “Is this too soon? I just want to feel your hands in my hair again, feel them all over me.” He took a breath and almost begged for the same thing he had asked many times before. “Come home with me. Third floor with a view.”Yoongi closed his eyes and his fists, hands tight and fingernails pressing into his palms, trying to hold on to his fading determination of staying away from Jimin in public, and failing. He smiled softly. “You truly must like me for me. Let’s go home.”

The first one to arrive was Namjoon and his wife, "Hey Jiminie, where is Y/N?" Namjoon asked Jimin as he handed Jimin a gift that he bought for the baby, "She is with the cutie", "Ok, I'll go and meet her, btw congrats again Jim ;)"

A few minutes later Yoongi came and then the rest of the members came. "Hey bud, missed you, looks like you have two baby girls now (If u know what I mean) *wink wink* said Yoongi while giving the killer smirk that everyone dies for (Sorry but Meows is my bias wrecker!)

It was time to reveal your cutie's name!!! "Hello everybody, now me and Y/N will reveal the name of our sweetheart!... And her name is …. Park Chaeyoung! X)

Your other two girls were running around the venue...least bothered for the new addition to the family since they both were jealous about not getting attention from their beloved father but they were still happy for you both knowing how much you loved kids and wanted a lot of kids. when world-renowned pianist yoongi is hired to play a piece for the beautiful up-and-comer to the dance scene, jimin, he never thought that he’d fall in love so easily. the dancer was graceful as a swan, ever-flowing as a river and had a body that was sculpted by the gods themselves. had he believed in love at first sight? not in the slightest. but, would he change his mind for jimin? yes.

their time together was first spent in the dance studio, where they both practiced for hours to get timing and positioning right… but the moments he cherished most were whenever jimin took a seat beside him on his piano bench, his perfume so sweet and intoxicating as it surrounded yoongi, and played a few simple songs with him. the two of them were inseparable for the months of practice they had together. when the night of the performance arrived, yoongi was more nervous than he would ever let on but managed to keep his composure when he saw jimin completely in full dress - makeup and all.

when he was bare-faced, he was so beautiful. but, when he had the whole look… he was ethereal.

his calm and confident demeanor before the show probably helped too. once it was over and the roar of the crowd had faded into silence, the two of them finally shared their first kiss in the shadow of the large velvet curtain; a fitting end to their beautiful beginning.

Jimin replays that night in his head over and over again. Silk against silk. The pale flowers embroidered on Joon’s suit jacket. Green silk against the satin of his hands. He would have clung harder if he knew. Balled his hands into fists, grated against the lotus threads so hard they would have formed calluses on his palms, dug his nails into cold fabric until they left tiny snags.

But he didn’t know.

So their last night was the routine. Jimin had incense burning that time. It curled around the parlor, sweet little scent ghosts trailing in the unmoving air. Joon complained it made his head swarm. Made it too heavy on his broad shoulders. They discussed work. They touched and sighed. They parted ways. They’d meet again to finish the work. Each job had such a delicate plan. It had to be executed perfectly, that’s why they met to discuss beforehand. 

Jimin was an actor and Joon was the director.

He had to play the part, twist and manipulate their victims into place. Sometimes they fell for sensual. Sometimes they wanted cute. Sometimes they just needed someone to ramble to. 

If only he knew.

The bite of the handcuffs was sobering to say the least. Incense and silk, grandmother would have told him. She would have yelled until she lost her voice. This was inevitable, your stolen luxury could never last.

The charges were baffling.

Art theft. Fraud. Tax Evasion. Identity theft. Money Laundering. 

Of course Joon’s list was longer. Or Jimin assumed anyway. They were pulled apart. Not in the same pod. Not in the same courtroom. Not in the same prison after sentencing. Maybe it was in case they filed a mistrial. Maybe they didn’t want them talking. Planning. Worming their way out of their sentences so they can continue to spin silk together. And of course it burns. 

Jimin kept his hands smooth for him. Like clouds. Sanded and moisturized. There was a vanity drawer full of products somewhere. They used to be Jimin’s but god only knows where they ended up. Rose and lavender. Starseed and promise. More scents than he could count. One for every mood and every hair color he tried. Red and wish. Silver and citrus. Black and sandalwood. Yellow and kisses. 

He would be luxury for his partner.

He missed him. He craved him. Every second. And he tried to connect. Maybe a phone call. Or at least a letter. From one prisoner to another. Different cells, different pods, different buildings, pulled apart by the blind hand of lady justice. 

It had only been a few weeks since he arrived. The unanswered letters… maybe they just never made it. Maybe he should be more patient. 

Or maybe he should just distract himself.

He had only really talked to his cellmate. He was cool. Icy. He played his solitaire, delt hands in the dayroom, shuffled and shuffled when he was bored. A gambler. His list of crimes was long, and he never disclosed them all. Jimin didn’t know how to navigate this new landscape, but one thing was clear to him judging by his cellmate's detached demeanor. You’re not here to make friends. 

But Jimin needs a friend. What’s a distraction if there’s not a friend involved?

There are demons moving between these white walls swathed in orange. Jimin watched them carefully. Some of them do seem to crave companionship. 

There’s the man that sits next to him in their art class. The class itself? Something about anger management. Venting emotions healthily without violence or addiction. Jimin would always eye the canvas next to his. Such a soft boy with a wide chest that reminded him of Joon. His voice was quiet, a sickly sweet whisper dripping wisteria and dreams. His words were bundled in brightly colored wax wrappers. He never fights. Never insults. Just exists. Compliments and small tokens of friendship. 

But Jimin’s seen what his pens do. Broken bones and gore. Twisted animal fetuses and teeth that jump from the page. Nightmares and crows. Melting skin and demon’s with fox skulls. They’ve whispered about him in the pod. He’s cursed.

And then there’s the art teacher himself… there’s the prize. Pale with long fingers, black hair that falls into his eyes. He’s a healer. Jimin may still crave the silk clad man that handed him millions before setting fire to everything, but he can crave other things too. Distractions. Sweet thin boys that get tangled in the sheets.

But that was… ambitious. To seek someone not stuck behind painted metal like he was. And Joon was still so… fresh.

Incense and tattoo ink. Silk and lotus petals. 

Art teacher Min would have to wait. Jimin needed an easier ride first. His blood obsessed peer would be easy, but to be frank he made Jimin nervous. There was something dead in his eyes. 

But not everyone looking for a companion screams it. Attention seekers can be quiet. They can stick to floors and loiter in dark corners with hot tears in their eyes. Of course there were people like that here. 

Joon always called him a whore. Jimin never really bothered to correct him as he wasn’t entirely wrong. Long term? Tied forever to one person? A ball and chain. That’s why he and Joon worked so well together. They would explore and come back together again. Billions of faces on the earth, what was stopping a person from sampling his fair share? 

Jimin’s met all kinds of people in his line of work. In both the very legal tattoo parlor he ran and the very illegal side hustle he started with his long term booty call. But only meeting a person, only talking to them? Sometimes it's not enough flavor. Sex was a merging of souls. And now, it can serve as a distraction. A short term fling to pick up and drop. He could work his way through this prison until he had the gusto to challenge the art teacher with those long pale fingers that haunted the inside of his eyelids.

A whore and an attention seeker. That’s what Joon would say if he was here.

And of course there was a silent attention seeker.

Jimin was leaning in his doorway. It’s where he usually was, watching the commotion. Listening to the screaming.

The boy from his art class was with the smaller, meaner man he was always with. They were pouring over a thick book. His cellmate was dealing hands to a gaggle of men, as usual. The gentle CO was on duty. The one that was easy to bribe and would twist rules meant to be iron. Roses crawled up from under his collar. Jimin wondered if he knew the artists that colored him.

The attention seeker that refused to seek attention was alone. A wonderful distraction. Something to burn the silk he spent years spinning off his hands.

Jimin knew how to sway when he walked. He had an arsenal of smiles and he wore this one very carefully. Sultry. Venus. 

There was a felt pen in his hand. He snagged it from the art room a few days ago. Min had seen. He didn’t raise a single finger to stop Jimin from carrying it back to the pod. He really just wanted it to draw. It’s not like he had foul intentions. At least not yet. Not like others around here.

That’s what Jimin thinks of when he looks into the eyes of his chosen toy. Those same, hateful, tear lined eyes. Mistrusting. Abused. His jaw locks when Jimin slinks closer, entire body tensing. He was running red beads through his fingers. Over and over again, a nervous reflex. Each one would quickly pop through his clenched knuckles in a way that was almost comical. There should be loud sound effects. Clack clack, pop pop, squelch squelch. Jimin didn’t realize the beads were a rosary until he was on top of the table looking down on the hunched figure in front of him.

Jimin cooed. A sweet sound. Venus draped in layers of pink satin. “So lonely over here…”

A quick study with an artist’s eye. Big nose. A diagonal line of moles on the right side of his face. A cupid’s bow that twitched beautifully as he reacted to Jimin’s words. Cat eyes. Furrowed brow. Bleach damaged hair.

Jimin wasn’t keen on waiting for the response. It wouldn’t be anything affirmative. He reached out instead, grabbing his right wrist, pulling it towards him. Extended arm, his limbs were long. He braced himself on the table, not fighting Jimin at all, but remaining tense. A tightly wound spring, he was preparing to react violently if he had to. A dog would growl. This man only glared with his sad eyes.

Prison issued clothes are short sleeved and thin. Jimin’s seen his fair share of supplemental clothing on commissary. His new toy had some. A white thermal. The sleeves were pulled low, down to his palms with the white collar rising higher on his throat than the issued orange one. Jimin pushed the sleeve up. Gold silk, he needed skin. The marker was balanced between his ring finger and pinky, and he hummed tilting his head. What would look good on this skin?

“I’ll ink you.”

Jimin turned his hand over exposing the hairless inside. This was where the line was drawn. His distraction grunted and tried to pull his arm away. Jimin may be small, but his strength is not to be contended with. He dug his fingernails into that honeyed skin and wrenched it back towards him. 

“I said I’ll ink you.”

Distraction sucked air in heavily. “Not the inside.” His voice was nothing like Jimin expected. It was a lullaby, not nearly half as harsh as his eyes. As his permanently furrowed brows. Musical. Not too deep and not too high. The right amount of soft.

Jimin leaned closer to his face, plastering the sweetest smile he could on his face. “Why?”

The hand was flipped again. Another smaller tug of war. Toy didn’t seem to have the heart to win it. He could have pulled Jimin off the table if he really wanted to. 

Jimin cooed again. “That’s not worth all that fuss is it?”

Scar tissue. That’s all it was. Pink parallel lines. Some fresher than others. 

Distraction’s eye twitched, and he pulled his lips into a tight line. Disagreement.

Jimin ran his thumb over the raised skin, tracing at first, before drawing circles making a strange pattern of touch. Smooth rough. Flat raised. Honey crystals. Silk burlap.

The marker made a distinct pop when he freed it of its plastic cap. “You remind me of a mourning dove.” He needed a cover up. Doves would do it. Doves and flowers. Jimin concentrated on the black lines. The closeness of skin. The heat of art and breath.

Toy was silent for a long time, dark eyes following the lines forming over his self hatred. Jimin sensed it would take a long time to mold this toy into the distraction he needed. He wondered if it would be worth it, or if he should try for another boy. It’s not like there was a shortage of them here.

“I could make a gun,” Jimin said softly. “I could make this forever.”

“And mutilate the body God gave me?” The rosary was tightly clutched in his left hand. Gold satin staining white at his grip.

Jimin stifled a laugh. “More than you already have?” The scars were obvious.

Toy turned his head away, some distance spot on the concrete floor suddenly more interesting than the artwork blooming on his wrist. “Self flagellation,” he mumbled.

“Should I cover you in crosses, oh pious one?”

The head snapped back towards Jimin. Fire in the eyes of Lucifer. Jimin can’t help but smirk. He always enjoyed being annoying. Getting under the skin, but only a little. Not far enough to hurt, just enough for those dramatic head turns.

Distraction’s eyes traveled around Jimin’s face for awhile. Responses were weighed. The one that came was not as confrontational as Jimin expected. 

“Why are you here?”

Jimin quirked an eyebrow, marker still poised above his skin. “For fun.”

Silence, and Jimin focused on his feathers again. They were furling. He would do an entire sleeve. Stay here with this man’s skin forever. He smelled like the same prison issued soap they all smell like. Jimin wondered what he would smell like naturally. In his environment, in his prime. A thick cologne? Incense and pews? A light floral scent?

“You have such nice skin…” Jimin mumbled.

“And I suppose you’ve seen a lot of skin, Michelangelo?”

Plush lips turned up in the corners. “I’ve always considered myself more of a Rembrandt. And yeah, I’ve seen a lot of skin. I could stand… to see more of yours?” He raised it as a question, eyes flicking upwards to read distraction’s face. The expression was the same one as before. Pained. Bored. Hateful. Jimin wondered if his face ever changed.

Toy’s tongue clicked against the roof of his mouth. A clear tsk. “And you haven’t even taken me out to dinner.”

Jimin feigned a gasp. “My dearest apologies, would the gentleman prefer the undercooked grits or the burnt tater tots tonight?”

Toy’s nose crinkled. Jimin reveled in the expression change. “Fair point.” He turned a little pensive, then, meeting Jimin’s eyes with more curiosity than animosity. Jimin let go of his hand. A drowsy mourning dove cradled in a wreath of roses and thorns. Distraction studied it for a minute, pursing his lips. He took a breath. “You can call me Donghyun.” He stood, and Jimin was pleased to note his height. “The extra skin can come later.”

He left Jimin with that invitation like a puff of fading incense, walking away studying his inked wrist. Jimin smirked to himself. Oh, he would be coming later all right. How could he deny such a golden invitation.

English is not my first language and I can never construct my words the way I want to or ever really stay on topic (my thoughts wander a lot) so please ignore any weirdness in this ask😬

I just wanted to say I've been thinking a lot about what has been transpiring these past few days, and I think I've finally, truly come to understand the phrase "misery loves company."

I'm not on Twitter but I can imagine that immediately after that last episode of Are You Sure, Taekookers as well as other shippers got to the usual work of twisting things and moments just to soothe their own burn & bring Jikookers down a peg from their high.

I've noticed this thing where every time Jikook have Jikooked and Jikookers celebrate it, bask in their joy, interact happily with each other, and don't talk about other shippers or bring the negativity of "what the cult is saying", and their spaces is just so jolly, clean and healthy or whatever, no toxicity whatsover.. Taekookers and others take it upon themselves to infiltrate the space and bring their misery and bitterness and what's frustrating is that they actually 100% succeed all the time. It's an energy I can literally feel (sounds cringe, I know, but it's something I've always had) the same way just spending an hour in Taekook spaces makes it clear that they have this weird combination of being somewhat secure that their ship is real & being hidden by Jikook but also being so fearful of the thought of Jimin next to Jungkook & not trusting Jungkook to act like a loyal, faithful husband towards Taehyung where Jimin is concerned. And this does not come from their words, it's just something that's there. It's as if they are sitting in anxiety just waiting for the moment JK reaches over and kisses Jimin full on the mouth, and they are dreading (and by the way, they and other shippers see moments between Jikook as romantic or at least unusual for simple friends to do, even more than Jikookers. I've seen Jikookers say it's a bromance, they act friendly because they are friends first and foremost, while the other sides cry fanservice and make entire analyses about how Bighit would have never shown AYS or any of the past moments between those two if Jikook were a real couple👀)

JIMIN more than Taekook has infested himself in the deepest parts of their minds, like a terrible disease. They even fear him for things independent from their ship; like his greatness as an individual and artist. What makes Taekookers so unique from others is that they do not only move like toxic shippers but toxic solos as well. They bash Jimin outside of things that have to do with Taekook. His artistry, his personality, his relationship with his loved ones and others closest to him. I've never seen anything like it.

Similarly, I feel a majority of Jikookers let Taekookers get inside their heads, when there's really no reason for them to, in my opinion. Jikookers would see a moment between Jikook and take it for what it is.. until a Taekooker comes to twist it; and no matter how absolutely delusional it sounds, it'll take root inside Jikookers' heads and do its work. That's the feeling I get being here for almost two years now.

Anyway, I've been seeing the mini back and forth between Jikookers and some Yoonmin-something blogger and it's been really interesting to him. It's really like clockwork that every time Jikookers are happy about moments from their ship and not bothering anyone, there will come someone from the other side trying to poke and start something, and unfortunately, they succeed every single time.

And it's not only that blogger but I've seen several from different platforms just clearly trying to start a fight (and by "starting a fight" I don't mean having a different opinion about the boys' relationships and shipping a different pair, but deliberately undermining Jikook even as a friendship & subtly suggesting that they have poor character & are extremely ambitious) and when Jikookers rightfully respond (although I really think y'all shouldn't but we do what we want) they turn things around & make it look like Jikookers are the toxic ones and then boast "lol they are so mad, oh the cognitive dissonance, they are crying because there are people who don't believe what they believe" because they somehow think they got their lick back simply because Jimin & JK did whatever they did and those who love their bond had the audacity to hype it up and believe whatever it is that they want to believe about it.

(Also saying all those things about cognitive dissonance & making it seem like "Jokers are mad for no reason" when it's extremely clear that you wrote that post to soothe your own cognitive dissonance and bring Jikookers down to your miserably emotional level, is wild. It's a diabolical tactic)

I've noticed that other shippers literally hate Jikookers for believing in a "company sold ship" and this behavior is basically them punishing you for it. They are projecting their own toxicity onto Jikookers by saying Jikookers are toxic when all Jikookers have ever done is retaliate.

I’ve seen even some of the more “level headed” taekook blogs on here losing their shit today and trying to cope with the information we just got by clinging to Jimin and Jungkook saying they didn’t see much of each other before and all I could do was chuckle because nothing screams more pained than that.

The difference is astounding while in jikook spaces or just as a blog owner myself, I notice that while jokers enjoy the occasional taekooker drag, they don’t like going on and on talking about taekook or taekookers. I delete asks I get from people responding to asks from taekookers because after talking about the cult in two or 3 post, I start seeing jikookers clearly not being interested to talk about them and asking for us to move on to topics that concern Jikook. I also get some of the lowest engagements when I talk about the cult while I get my highest engagements when we talk about Jikook being cute and in love. So while jikookers don’t care to go on talking about the cult, the cult’s favourite topic is jokers and jikook.

As for yoonminers, they are a lost cause to me. You know what I think might be like- super cute? Alpha yoongi who makes a living making custom nests for omegas, they come in a variety of different shapes and sizes for different sized packs, some with awnings or removable tops.

So yeah, yesterday just 4 days before JK's single Seven is about to land, after JK's concept photos and clip were released showing us a clear bias and after the BTS book pages about Jikook's Tokyo trip surfaced, surprisingly (or not so much) this BTB was released.

Cannot help but wonder if this was a scheduled release or one of those pieces of content they had waiting in the vault to release at some point, not necessarily yesterday.

Everything that makes Yoongi solos, yoonminers and diet rap line stans cry it’s a win for me.

Imagine shipping and pretending to stan someone you don’t like because it allows you to brag and belong. Armys/shippers extreme fear to become solos is deeply rooted in the sense of self importance that they gain belonging to “the biggest fandom in the world”. You take away that from their personalities and it’s just another loser out there in the world. Not to mention a lot of them are Yoonminers because they are Tkkrs, it’s funny.

Jimin plus Hobi on a track together, making something like Set Me Free Pt 2 + More combined, will certainly be more flammable and deadly than Huh?!…. and that’s saying something. I pray it happens in PJM2, but even if it doesn’t, because it’s BTS, there’s almost no doubt in my mind that jihope will make this sort of track eventually. It’s within their music scope and their egos need the outlet.

Other underrated pairings I’d love to see more music from are:

Taejoon: Joon loves himself a good bit of Soul and Tae seems to have made Swing and Jazz his go-to styles, so in my mind, the possibilities are endless.

Jinkook: I think their chemistry is underrated and I like how their voices sound together.

The Daegu boys: Yoongi and Tae used to have personalities that clashed quite a bit in their earlier days, but their chemistry has matured into an easy understanding of each other. I want to see that expressed in music they make together.

Minimoni: Joon helped Jimin make Promise, Jimin’s first published solo project. He’s helped Jimin on several solo songs since then, but I want more examples of their work together, because all their work so far, especially given what I know about the temperaments of Joon and Jimin, feels too safe. Imagine a song like Change Pt 2 and SMF Pt 2… Yeah, I need more angry music from Jimin + every member of the rapline. I know they’ve got the rage to pull it off.

Hopekook: Speaking of rage, I want a similar thing from Jungkook, but with Hobi. Somehow I feel this is the optimal combination to bring out a particular kind of energy from Jungkook, what that is exactly I don’t know how to say. But when I hear it, I’ll know.

I'm not a shipper, I'm Jimin-biased, and I also came across that post. One thing I've noticed about people who ship Jimin and JK with others is that they are always extremely insecure and bitter over Jimin and JK's friendship. They are just incapable of being satisfied with their ship being real while simultaneously accepting that there's at least a deep, platonic bond between JM/JK. No, in their minds, those two have to hate each other when the cameras stop rolling and every nice thing they say about one another has to be scripted in order for them to be able to imagine Jimin coming home to Yoongi, JK coming home to Taehyung or Jin at the end of the day.

I always wondered why, but I've come to realize that there's only one example for it, no matter how crazy it may sound every time I think about it. They see whatever Jikookers swear is there too, but they obviously hate it because they wish it existed somewhere else and they hate that other people boldly point it out over and over again, like rubbing salt into their wounds,

and that's how posts like the one from that Yoonmin blog come to be, that's how there's always this unnecessary outrage within the fandom every time Jimin and the maknae just exist next to each other and treat one another like human beings (I acknowledge they objectively have some very eyebrow-raising moments; I'm not talking about that but just genuinely mundane moments where they just smile at each other, laugh together, touch each other in the most innocent, typical way ever and say decent things about/to each other. Even those things get people mad). That's how their relationship as a duo becomes somewhat taboo in the fandom.

It's fascinating to witness as an "outsider", someone unattached to any of them as hypothetical romantic pairs.

Also I ask myself why these people ship Jimin with their favorites so much when it's clear as day they don't like him. You can't believe Jimin is in a loving, committed relationship with this one person while he, according to you, consistently plays at romance with another and lies every time because he's apparently so fame hungry. The way you describe the general attitude towards jkk (within the fandom) as 'somewhat taboo' is honestly spot on. It's something that's always fascinated me because even bringing up the word 'jikook' within a broader fandom context gets everyone's panties in a twist. There have been countless ot7-focused accounts who've gotten harassed to the point of having to take down jkk-focused posts or posts even mentioning them as a duo. It's pretty mind-boggling because the outrage wouldn't exist if it wasn't rooted in some sort of fear.

There's a vast majority of army that are cultists or, have joined the fandom through the cult's indoctrination (I can't think of a better term:)). Part of this indoctrination is the narrative that jm is incentivised by the company to tear taekook apart. Yet apparently, he's also their beard? So, jm is the devil but also simultaneously Mother Theresa because he selflessly protects his best friends who are a couple. Unfortunately, there are so many people with this mentality who make up the older part of the fandom (people who have stanned them for a while). Somehow, the cult has normalised default favour for themselves and have so much sway over the fandom. It's so disturbing because of their generally deranged attitudes towards jm and jkk.

On yoonminners, again, you've hit the mark:
