You wrote hanahaki au so beautifully. I didn’t know what it was until I saw your fic and proceeded to do a bit of research. I thought stories in this au would seem unrealistic, but I was clearly wrong. You made me feel like this fictional disease made perfect sense-

(2/5) the bits and pieces about it being a scientific mystery and the course of the disease really added dimension to the story. And the emotions you captured so well!! Y/n knew it was hurting her, but she kept telling herself “just one more day.” One day turned into weeks, then months. She still couldn’t turn away even though she knew the harder she fell, the worse her condition becomes.You elegantly described her thoughts, and that made the symbolism stand out.

(4/5) IM GETTING CARRIED AWAY HERE. Anyway, I shed a whole ass tear (mayhaps more than one) reading it, right up until the activities out in public 😛 which I might add, was also so sexy and nice??? yes!! honestly the longer it got, the more i hated it and was becoming disillusioned with it,,, like to the point i had to get jane to read each part and give me feedback/validation so i could continue writing it :’))and omg!! i think it used to be a pretty popular trope but it sort of died out aha, but i still think its a really interesting concept and i love playing around with it! my first hanahaki fic was ‘bloom’ for jimine but honestly, i think i outdid myself with picking flowers :’)))

and omg !!!! YES THANK YOU !! I really enjoyed making it seem realistic rather than a ‘it just happens’ kinda thing, and i personally felt the science behind it made it a little more realistic so im really happy you said that because it makes me feel better about including it hehehe
