Much to Sophia and Lara’s dismay, you and Manon—the two most tone deaf members when it came to the kitchen—were tasked with preparing the food. Neither of you knew a thing about anything related to food, so you were sure this was going to be entertaining for the fans.

“Manz, can you help me tighten this?” you asked, spinning around to peek at her over your shoulder. You flashed her the cutest look you could, your eyes wide and lips pursed.

The two of you read the instructions aloud, Manon’s sharp eyebrows furrowing as she hovered over your shoulder. The two of you stood oddly close together, despite the kitchen being rather spacious and aerodynamic.

“Wait, Manzanita, we need to oil the seaweed before we roll it up,” you called, watching as she halted her actions of rolling the gimbap up. You cleaned your hand of the teriyaki sauce you were coating spam masubis in, bumping her with your hip gently to nudge her away.

She watched your hand work the rice and seaweed swiftly, your fingers a line of oil across the sheet before rolling it up. The camera angle switched, to one closer to your faces.

Manon’s eyes could be seen darting between your fingers and your focused gaze, then down to your lip, tucked between your teeth as you carefully cut the gimbap into slices. The subtle gesture didn’t slip past the fans’ sharp eyes, the moment being famously known on tiktok as the moment she earned herself the nickname, “Meret ‘Marry Me Eyes’ Manon”.

You organized them neatly. “Okay, how does this look?”

She smiled, her cat eyes softening as she nodded. “They look amazing. I can already imagine Yoonchae’s precious little face beaming at us, she loves this stuff.”

“Totally worth the ten nights of Megan snoring, ‘cuz it was cookie dough flavoured.” Daniela sighed, looking up, as if imagining the tub in her hands again. “Anyway, we got home and she would have a clothing rack in between our beds and y/n would be forced to sleepover for the next five nights before she was allowed back to her own room.”

You groaned, “Oh my God, I twisted my spine permanently.”

“Yeah, well, at least Ms. Drama Queen was happy. She’s quiet and not Sophia’s problem when she’s happy, so Sophia always uses y/n as a scapegoat when she doesn’t feel like dealing with Manz’s theatrics.” Daniela snorted.

“So y/n, your motorcycle photo shoot with Teen Vogue last week. I saw you did a shoot with Yeonjun from TXT, and the internet has been going insane for you lately!” The host said in a teasing manner, the other girls joined in, letting out ‘oohs’ and muffled whistles at the mention of your shoot.

There was a particular photo from the shoot that went viral:

You were both posed around a motorcycle, you stood in front, leant against the bike. You were told to pretend you were putting on the fingerless leather gloves, toned torso exposed with a belly chain across your waist. In a sheer black top that just hugged your chest and saggy silver track pants that had a mercury textured look to it on. You had a motorcycle helmet on, your alluring eyes seen through the flipped visor. Yeonjun was in the back, dressed in his own outfit, leaning over the seat was shooting the camera his signature cat-eyed glare.

“That photo shoot was really good, but I had my dad sending me screenshots of it on Teen Vogue’s magazine,” you joked, “He saw us on the cover, he got every copy at that store.”

“It was so cute though! You showed me the selfie he sent you, he was holding the magazine up and he had the biggest, most innocent, smile I have ever seen but next to him were you and Yeonjun half naked posing. It was adorable.” Sophia added.

The host nodded, chuckling. “Who did you borrow from?”

She was in a denim dress, her goddess braids done up in a high pony, a stellar tiara necklace dangling around her neck.

On came you, in a denim tube top and black leather skirt with buckles around it. You were wearing a white button-up, your outfit underneath, awaiting to be shown. Megan and Yoonchae were guided back to hair and makeup to freshen up from the last scene, and the studio was growing chilly. You grabbed the nearest outerwear you could, landing you a dress shirt.

“Hey, I was looking for you,” you chimed.

Manon tilted her head, “Why, am I supposed to be somewhere? Oh sh—crap, am I in trouble?”

You chuckled, “No, no, you’re not in trouble. Yoonchae brought the instant camera, I wanted to get a picture with you.”

“Well, I’m chilling with the eyekons right now,” she pointed at the camera, looking between you and the lens. “You should come chat, we can take a lot of photos later.”

“But you look so good right now, I want it to last forever,” you pouted, “And a photo lets me remember it forever.”

Manon smirked, “Oh, yeah? What about this outfit you got on, hm?” She tugged at the collar of the dress shirt, fumbling with the buttons. “I mean, I love the outfit you had on before, but woof, this is giving like sexy office siren, y’know?”

She smoothed out the creases in the shirt, wolf-whistling.

“This does the job, plus I was going for that ‘sexy office siren’ aesthetic.” You pouted, winking at the camera before blowing them a kiss. Manon shot you a faux look of disapproval before hooking an arm around you.

“At least button it up properly, so you’re warm.”

She began doing the buttons up on your shirt, you went to protest, but she was quick to silenced your complaints.

“That’s much better now, isn’t it?” She chuckled, watching you shoo the camera a pout at the shirt buttoned straight up to your neck. “Honestly I prefer you like this.”

When neither of you could see, Sophia turned to you.

“Dani’s not gonna be home till tomorrow, right? She’s staying with Lara and Rhea tonight?” she asked.

You nodded, “Yeah, I think it might be Manz.”

Sophia looked back over to the doorway, her hand still stirring the pot. “Manon?” she called out, “Is that you, Manon?”

Both of you paused to listen in, when there was no response, you called out, “Manza?”

“Yeah?” Manon’s figure suddenly popped through the doorway. Sophia groaned, flashing her the stink eye. “Really? You’re not gonna answer my two calls, but y/n says your name once and you’ll immediately get summoned?”

"We're pigs! This is the pig level!" You gasp, Sophia just seems to have registered. "WAIT, WE'RE PIGS!?!" She basically shouts in your left ear. "Oh my g-" your hand shoots up to your assaulted ear as you give the camera a blank but defeated look. Sophia notices and chuckles nervously as she says hurriedly "Sorry sorry sorry"

You both start to mess around in your in-game pig form, hopping around each other until, "I CAN FART GLITTER!" She shouts in excitement, letting out a loud laugh at the discovery of having an ability to fart glitter and rainbows. "WHAT?" you burt out laughing with her at the silliness of it all, "wait, YOU got fart power, and I get THIS?" You say as you activate your own piggy power of being able to extend your body like a coil spring. "Oh jeez, oh you're scary.." She says, cringing her teeth, "first you get the cooler weapon, and now the cooler Piggy power.. Not fair!" You say molding at your lack of luck in the game.

"Yeah, I have rainbow farts, I'm way cooler" She says in a haughty tone with a proud smile, you throw her a playful glare.

Throughout the rest of that side story you guys would not stop laughing at the fart sound that plays everytime Sophia uses her power like two little kindergarteners, "this is so dumb" you say between laughs all the while Sophia is now holding her stomach in laughter, her controller already forgotten on the couch between you two.

So after the cameras started rolling to film your new challenge of "recreating viral tiktoks" and splitting into two teams: Manon & Dani, Lara & Sophia and lastly you, Megan and Yoonchae in one team.

The video cuts to you, and Megan huddled around the camera that Megan was holding, "Okay, so here's the plan." She says and laughs goofily (it's an actual word i can't💀) and roll your eyes at her usual silly self, "SO Yoonchae obviously thinks that we're filming content, right?" She explains as she turns to you "yup!" You answer. "Well, WRONG! We're not filming content. We are actually her distractement?" She says hesitantly "Distractors?" She turns to you again as you try to stiffle your laugh. "Yeah, distractor... right?" She says directly to you. "You mean... distracTION?" You say with a playful tone, a smirk painting your lips. "Oh! Omg how did I forget that-" She bursts out laughing, her laugh contagious that it was inevitable to not join in on it.

"Anyways! We have to distract her. Which I'm really good at" She states confidently. "Ehhhhh I... don't know about that" you say with slightly squinted eyes at her. She gasps faking being hurt. You three are inside the van taking to your filming location, you decide to interview Yoonchae a little. This time your are holding the camera and pointing at Yoonchae "Give us some ideas of what you're thinking" Megan asks her. "Actually, I don't know." She answers shaking her head "Huh?" You chuckle at the younger member's cluelessness when it came to internet trends "I don't watch TikTok" She whines holding her hat. "Yoonchip, aren't you the youngest here? Istg you're like, physically 17 but mentally 71" you tease her as she snaps her head toward you in offense "Hey! I'm not!" "So how are we gonna win?" Megan says laughing "I don't know" the star of the show answers in a high pitched voice. "Welp" you say as you zoom into her face "Guess we'll figure something out when we get there lol".

You guys made it to the park, where you filmed a bunch of silly but lowkey funny tiktoks you were beat and exhausted. With the three of you resting on a bench, you spot an ice-cream truck "Hey want some ice cream?" You turn to the two girls that look completely drained of energy, but as you say that both of them straighten up from their previous slouched positions at the word "ice-cream" lol these kids. "YES!" The two of them shout simultaneously in enthusiasm, and you giggle at their reaction. The three of you go up to the ice cream truck, and you pay for them. Once you finish paying, you turn to see both of their energy already restored to the max after a single scoop. A small but gentle smile adorns your face. Good, now you can make it back home in high spirits for the surprise awaiting.

It was no news that Yn is Manon's biggest simp, some might say that she is down horrendous. If you thought that you are Manon's biggest fan, wait until Yn walks into that room. So it was just another one of those times in which Manon only exists and Yn relishes in that fact.

In this live, Manon was trying out different hairstyles, testing out which one looks the best. She turns to you for your opinion on yet another look and says somewhat quietly almost sneakily, "How's this one? You respond in a matter of fact tone but with underlying sincerity in it.

"Aww, Ynnnn, you're so sweet, baby." She reaches over, encircling you in her arms in a tight side hug, and she then gives you a little peck on the cheek. You grumble at her actions and try to push her off you gently, known for being the "don't-you-dare-initiate-any-physical-contact-with-me" in the group, but everyone and their mothers know that you secretly like it. "Alright now, ma'am, I know you're fine shyt and can bag anyone with a single bat of your pretty eyelashes, but take me out on a date first, jeez." You say with a hint of smirk in your voice.

"What do you mean, babe? We're already past that stage, don't you think?" She says with that killer smile of hers and that playful look in her eyes,"oooKAYY i'm done" but you obviously couldn't handle when she reciprocates your playful but flirty remarks, and you get shy and escape with a red face. That's just the Ynnon dynamic.

The video shows you and Dani in a skating park (one of your other friends is taking the video), and it is apparent that you are in the midst of teaching Dani how to stabilize her weight on a skateboard.

"Alright, looks like you're a goofy" you tell her while she is holding onto your hands outstretched to her for dear life, "are you seriously making fun of me right now, yn??" She says with a small frown and an accusing offended tone. You chuckle at her, "no idiot, goofy is term for a stance, to explain it better it is basically if you put your right foot on the skateboard and the left one goes on the floor." Her face lightens and her frown quickly disappears as you explain, "Oh! Well that's stupid. Why is it called that tf?" You shrug with a smirk "I don't know. Alright, now time to start moving!"

"Don't you DARE let go of me I swear to god Yn I'll murder you if you do" She threatens quickly with a panicked voice as she practically claws onto your arms that she's already holding tightly. "Relax! I'm right here next to you. I won't let go okay? You trust me right?" You reassure her. "Mehh debatable" she says, in one motion you let go of her with a blank expression on your face. "WAIT WAIT IM SORRY HOLD ON TO ME PLEASE" She says in panic, and you instantly hold on to her again "that's right. Now... slowly just keep your eyes forward, feet no too wide apart," you adjust her feet correctly on the board "and push with your left one with small force".

"OKAY! seriously, don't let go of me. I will slip and fall and break my Shakira hips, and no one would want that." You roll your eyes playfully at her dramatics,"Ugh FINEE drama queen." After much reassurance, she FINALLY starts moving the skateboard with you keeping her steady by holding on to her waist and the small of her back, but at one point when you thought that Daniela got the hang of it you decide to sneakily slide your hands off her. And Dani overly concentrated on her board, and balance doesn't even realize it. You turn your head to give the camera a proud smile and thumbs up. You chuckle watching her stray further and further from you on her skateboard, that's when Dani realizes something is amiss. She looks down at her body, then at you a couple meters away from her, "YN-"

It is your 7th game already, and to say your braincells were fried is an understatement so you decided to seek Lara's help because you couldn't find it in you to decline her father's offer to another game. Thing that leads us to our current present, but since Eyekons were unaware of what is going on and what you meant with your comment you send another comment to give a little more clarity to the situation,

Waking up to silence and peace is something you could never get accustomed to. From the yelling of Dani and Manon to Megan and Lara belting a random song, peace and quiet is a rare occurrence in the dorms.

Today was one of the days where the elder members had schedules, so that left you and Yoonchae alone at the dorms, enjoying the silence and each other presence.

You get up, stretching as you exit you and Sophia's room to the living room, spotting Yoonchae on the couch. She immediately beams with a smile and her usual brightness as you walk towards her on the couch.

You plop next to her on the couch, immediately cuddling up to her side. This was also a rare semblance of privacy and alone time between you two, since the other 5 didn't know you two were together, and you'd like to keep it like that for a while.

"Morning" Yoonchae mumbles into your hair as you bury your face in her neck. "Morning, happy Valentines day my love" you reply, voice a bit muffled due to being almost against the shorter girls neck. "Happy valentines" she also says.

"Do the others have a schedule or it's something else?" You ask, looking up at her as you pull back but keep your chin on her shoulder. "They went shopping" The shorter girl replies, as she looks down at you, eyes raking over you face with the loving sparkle they've had since you two met.

Her lips catch yours in a swift peck before turning away, trying to stop you from doing the same. You immediately pounce up, tossing and turning with her until you have her beneath you on the couch, catching her lips in a slow loving kiss.

You didn't know or care when tye members left, you probably should've but you didn't as you and Yoonchae stay in that position, lips only ever leaving each other's for breath in between.

So caught up in the moment you both don't realize the door of the dorms open until you hear the familiar voice of a very shocked Filipina leader "What the hell is going on?"

You immediately scurried off Yoonchae, cheeks heating up as you put some distance between you two as you both tried to not meet the eyes of your seven older members.

Nobody spoke, the silence tense and uncomfortable as you and Yoonchae avoided each other's, as well as everyone else's eyes, while the other 5 just looked between you two with Jaws dropped in surprise and confusion.

"Since when" Lara asked, finger pointing between you and Yoonchae. Silence again until Yoonchae took initiative. "A few months after debuting" she mumbled. "That long?" "Damn!" Manon and Dani spoke over each other. Megan just stood shocked, not knowing how to react and Sophia, being the ever perceptive, yet blunt, one spoke up again.

"It better have been only that and not s-"I immediately cut her off "It was" I almost scream, absolutely horrified and embarrassed. "Well what do you want me to expect, you're both teenagers, it's normal" she quips as they finally break from their trance and enter the dorm fully, putting their bags and stuff on the counter.

I grimace at her words, and Megan, who's been uncharacteristically quiet speaks up. "Why have you guys been hiding it for so long?" We all look at her. "We were nervous about how you guys would react" I reply as Yoonchaes lips press into a line.

"Theres nothing to worry about, we'll support you guys no matter what." Sophia responds with that usual motherly tone and smile. An onslaught of agreement comes from the others as they settle down around the living room. "But I will be monitoring you guys more now just so you know." Sophia follows up as she sits between us.

There's a burst of laughter in the room. The day goes about normally, minus Sophia checking on you and Yoonchae once in a while to make sure nothing "funny" is happening.

Night falls and there's silence in the dorm as the others are asleep and you and Yoonchae cuddle in your bed. Today's has been the best Valentines ever, coming out to the others (more rather than finding out), being able to be affectionate around them, and now ending the day in bed with Cuddles and a few light kisses.

Manon was the worst at PR training. The woman had lips looser than an unbuckled belt. She was much more tame when they were surrounded by crew members, but when it’s just her and her phone on Weverse, you can expect a lot of slips.

Especially when she’s paired alone with Daniela.

“‘Where are the others?’” Manon read aloud, looking back at Daniela, who was finally settling to sit behind her roommate. “What, you sick of us already?”

Daniela swatted her arm at the tone she used, as if a silent warning as to be careful what people could take out of context. She toyed with her hood, listing what the girls were occupied with. “Well, Sophia’s on a zoom call downstairs with her family. I think Yoonchae went to bed… Lara and Megan went out to get something at the convenience store and Y/N is probably online shopping or something in her room.”

“Yeah, she better be getting me my Christmas gift.”

“Didn’t she already give you like three ‘pre-game’ gifts?” Daniela turned to the camera, “Oh my God, Y/N does this thing where she gets Manon a million things for the week leading up to Christmas. She only does it for Manon and I always feel like choking her out ‘cuz she’s spoiling her rotten.”

Manon rolled her eyes, “They’re gonna know we’re—!”

Daniela widened her eyes, shooting Manon a knowing glare before the older pursed her lips together. The both of them went silent for a moment, scared to look at the influx of questions and comments they were getting for the sudden cutoff, curious to know what the end of Manon’s sentence was.

“You’re just making stuff up, I swear. You still wear the other one so much more than the Ferrari one.” Daniela scoffed, “You wore the blue one like five times this week, like you literally wore it to dinner yesterday.”

“Oh, is it this one?” Manon flashed her wrist to the camera, where a couple cuffs and bracelets hung. Her other hand picked out a thin silver chain with a “K” strung at the end of it. “This is the one Megan got us for Katseye’s first birthday.”

She flaunted her hand, fingers waving around as she showed off her accessories.

Daniela skimmed the comments, suddenly bursting into a fit of high-pitched giggles. Manon, her arm still up, in the middle of her accessory tour, leant back. Surprised by the Latina’s sudden change in attitude, she glanced between the camera and her roommate as if she was an insane person.

“Oh my God, they’re saying your hands would make a really good necklace for Y/N.” Daniela explained, still laughing.

Manon’s eyes widened, heat immediately flushing to her cheeks. She thanked all the Gods her smooth skin tone hid any hint of fluster, or she would have been beer red at the comment. She placed a hand over her eyes, her lips quirking into a small smile as she groaned.

“That’s good, that’s a good one. I like that.” Daniela sighed.

Next door, you could hear the two of them screaming and squabbling on live. You opened a new tab, sick of scrolling through the same catalogues on different websites. You were feeling lazy, didn’t really feel like getting up to join the two nextdoor, so you pulled up Weverse, clicking onto Manon’s live. Right off the bat, you were met with the Ghanaian woman showing off her bracelets and such, and you couldn’t help but giggle at the comments that followed.

Sometimes, this was your favourite part about having fans.

When Daniela’s laugh on the live had synced with the one next door, you couldn’t help but also giggle at Manon’s reaction when she was told what eyekons thought of her tour.

It was enough of a motivator to go nextdoor; to tease her.

“—Anyway! Can we please talk about anything else.”

A knock sounded through the room, both their heads turned to the door, watching Y/N’s head pop through the doorway. Daniela pounced to her feet, jogging over to jump into the older’s arms as Y/N carried her back in front of the camera.

Manon rolled her eyes, her tongue sticking against her inner cheek as she stared at the two goofing around in the back.

The Ghanaian woman didn’t turn to greet the younger member, instead, with her lips pursed in envy, she deliberately made sure her efforts to ignore Y/N were evident.

Y/N smiled, biting her lip. “Manon, are you mad at me?”

“Why would I be mad at you?” Manon huffed, her eyes still trained on the phone. “I’m just tryna talk to eyekons.”

Daniela hissed, making an “Oh, shit” expression and backing away so the other member could slide into where she sat. She eyed the phone from over Y/N’s shoulder, as if telling them she was unaware of what was about to unfold as well.

Y/N chuckled, shaking her head at the eldest’s sulking.

She slid an arm under Manon’s legs, the other securely held over her back. Kneeling, Y/N sprung to her feet, lifting Manon from the ground. The Ghanaian woman let out a bloodcurdling shriek, hands clutching onto Y/N’s hoodie for dear life.

“Did you feel left out, Manon? I was just joking around.”

Daniela watched in terror at the younger member flung Manon around the room in her arms. She slid forward to mouth “help me” into the camera, scared Manon’s feet might hit her head by accident.

“Oh my God, you ass—you bully, put me down.”

*Loud technical difficulty transition* Cut to being interviewed as promotion for the release of Touch, Y/N seemed to be the interviewer’s main foci.

“—Yes, thank you. My next question is for Y/N, uh, so we heard you like a tall, dark and handsome type.” The interviewer read off his card, a mic held up to his lips. The question immediately raised some red flags for the group, Sophia and Manon—as the eldest and the leader—shared a knowing look. They were ready for whatever the man had to throw at them. “You’ve posted a couple of instagram photos and been seen out with a certain singer that’s been on Euphoria, is this a new potential partner, or what’s going on there?”

Y/N was slightly taken aback by how blunt the question came out. Usually management did a good job keeping questions about their personal lives out of interviews when they approve them for the video, but this one must’ve snuck past them.

The woman raised her mic, flashing the cameras her signature smile. The other members could only sit and admire how well her composure was, despite being asked such an intrusive query. She chuckled, eyeing Manon, who didn’t bother hiding what she was feeling. Her eyebrows were furrowed and she looked to be ready to pounce out of her chair whenever. Y/N gave her a subtle nod, as if telling her to stand down.

“Well, he and I met through mutual friends in the industry and we all get together to hang out on my day offs.” Y/N explained, “We’re just good buddies, nothing more.”

The interviewer chuckled, naive to the searing glares he was receiving from all the girls.

“Shame, a lot of people think you’d look like a power couple, the both of you being very talented singers and all,” he scanned his card, the only one laughing in the room full of dozens of people. “Is there anybody special in your life then? Or is this a chance for me to shoot my shot.”

Oh, six pairs of eyes glared daggers at him.

None of them were smiling anymore, not even out of courtesy. Daniela and Lara in the front had their arms crossed, their legs spread as they sneered at the man. Megan and Yoonchae were the better ones at concealing just how aghast they were at the unprofessionalism, their expressions stoic, but the aura around them growing cold. Sophia sat upright, ready to jump in when the man stopped talking, but Manon—Manon was sitting beside Y/N, and it took one look at the woman’s uncomfortable expression for her to want to break the man’s neck.

“—Actually, we’re all really focused on our journey as Katseye right now, so we don’t really have time for other kinds of commitment just yet. Even then, we try and keep our personal and professional lives separated because a healthy work-life balance is very important.” Manon answered passively, her smile immediately fading when she finished talking.

But by the way the man gulped and stopped chuckling, it was obvious he finally noticed the elephant in the room.

“I understand how people are very intrigued by that aspect of our lives though, it can be hard to know where to draw the line sometimes.” Y/N added in a smoother tone, hoping to soften the blow of loathing this man was hit with. “But, respectfully, we love talking about and sharing our experience with making music more than we do discussing our lives.”

The interviewer nodded, “Of course. We can move on.”

Throughout the rest of the interview, Manon had a hand on the younger member’s thighs. Their fingers laced together as they answered the rest of the questions. Later, Y/N would tease the Ghanaian woman with edits people have made of the moment Manon stood up for her.

Y/N ran a hand through her hair, dapping Megan up before the two of them approached Megan’s phone. It was resting on a chair against the wall, so it would stream everything they did.

In a sports bra and baggy jeans, Y/N had her hair down. She was sporting thick glasses, ones fans pointed out Daniela liked wearing in the series of tiktok’s they filmed last month. Megan on the other hand, had a more Adam Sandler type fit going on. The two of them devoured their individual styles.

“That’s the choreo Megan and I have done so far.”

Y/N’s phone buzzed. She reached into her pocket, pulling it out to see a text from Manon asking if she was in her room.

Megan’s infectious cackle interrupted before she could reply.

“Someone said we’re not pregnant but we always deliver,” she managed to read out in between gasping for air amidst her fit of amusement. “Oh my God, that’s so iconic.”

Opening her mouth to retaliate, another buzz sounds.

Y/N pulled her phone back out from her pocket, seeing another text from Manon, urging for an answer. She chuckled, shaking her head at the woman’s impatience.

Megan skimmed the comments, before turning back.

“Somebody said, ‘Only one thing could have Y/N smiling at her phone like that’.” The Chinese dancer read out, “Another person added, ‘Manon’s probably missing her boo thang’.”

Y/N shook her head, deciding keeping up appearances with their fans was more important than replying right away.

“It was just our manager, guys. A reminder for what we need to do tomorrow.” Y/N lied, “Anyway, if anybody was wondering, we are working really hard for MAMA. Especially Meggers here.” She grabbed the redhead, yanking her close to knock their heads together. “She’s carrying the dancing with Dani right now.”

The meme reference squeezed a laugh from Y/N, who shook her head. But, still, it’s Katseye. Of course she couldn’t resist joining in on the teasing herself. Her voice dropped low, “News flash, Dwayne’s forehead isn’t real. It’s a prosthetic.”

Y/N’s wrapping a gift set, a Fenty beauty make-up kit she specially assembled for Manon. She knew the woman had been complaining about her makeup supply running low, so what better chance than to get her what she needed?

“I know, I know, I went a little over budget,” Y/N chuckled, taping the edges of the wrapping paper together. “But Manon’s been really needing new stuff, and I wanted it.”

“Also, let me tell you guys a secret.” Y/N walked offscreen, coming back with a tiny box.

She motioned for the camera to zoom into the box, before popping it open. Inside, there was a gold necklace, a crown charm at the end of it. Y/N tucked it back into the box, holding a finger up to her lips.

“I got Manon an extra gift, but that’s for after work.”

Sat around a table on a very festive set, Y/N was instructed to slot in between Megan and Manon.

One by one, the girls presented their gifts to their designated person. When Yoonchae presented Daniela her gift, a neatly wrapped book, it was the Latina’s turn to pull out her gift bag.

“And my secret santa is…” Drumrolls against the table followed, “Y/N!”

Cheers erupted amongst the girls as Daniela slid the bag across the table to Y/N.

“Hope you like it, babe.”

The wrapping paper was still being pulled off as Y/N let out a surprised gasp. Underneath the vibrant wrapping was a vinyl—Rumours, by Fleetwood Mac. Y/N’s eyes lit up instantly. It was one of their favorite albums, something she had been looking for on vinyl forever.

“No way…! Dani, how’d you find this?” Y/N exclaimed, holding it up to the group, her voice practically sparkling.

Dan smiled proudly, her hands still resting on her own wrapped gift. “Well, I know you’re all about that rock life,” she said with a wink, knowing how much this record meant to Y/N. “I had my ways. As long as you’re happy, it was worth it.”

As everyone cheered and clapped, Manon side-eyed the gift.

She had noticed the way Y/N's eyes practically glowed when Daniela handed her the vinyl. It wasn’t just about the gift itself—it was the way Y/N was so genuinely excited. She loved seeing her happy, but Manon herself would have been happier if she had been the reason for such a smile. The way Y/N laughed and praised Daniela, even going as to get out of her chair to tackle the Latina in a hug. The little things that made Manon feel... well, a little left out. She quickly shifted her attention to the other girls, pretending to focus on the conversation, but her mind lingered on the discomfort.

Y/N notices Manon's mood; she smirked.

“Okay, so, it’s my turn.” Y/N turned, grabbing her bag from the floor. The bag had been topped with a cute silver ribbon, the gift itself wrapped with the same paper as the others’ gifts. “And, there’s two people left who hasn’t gotten their secret santa gift yet, so, drumroll, please!”

The table once again rocked as they drummed their hands.

“I have… my favourite drama queen, Manon.”

The Ghanaian woman widened her eyes, hands taking in the present Y/N shimmied over to her. The younger slung her arm over Manon’s shoulders, rubbing it as she watched her open and unwrap the present. A loud yelp rung through the studio, startling the others before Manon fully unwrapped it.

Her face softened when she saw what was inside: a Fenty beauty set—lip glosses, a highlighter, and a few items she had been eyeing for weeks but hadn’t splurged on herself.

“Okay, now I know for a fact this is out of budget.” Lara crossed her arms, her eyebrow raised in question.

“Bro, can we do secret santa without Y/N next year?” Sophia chimed, earning a couple teasing agreements. “You’re making all of us look bad now, N/N.”

“Y/N...” Manon whispered, her heart fluttering. “You really did this for me? This was probably so expensive.”

Y/N waved a hand dismissively. “Best way to spend my money. The holidays are all about love, right? This is how I show you guys I love you.” She pulled Megan and Manon into her arms, squeezing them both as the others joined in for a big hug. “I got you all things you want, don’t worry.”

Manon’s smile returned, brighter than before. She leaned in to hug Y/N individually after, her voice quiet but sincere. “You didn’t have to, but I’m so glad you did.”

Their hug lasted a little long, even their editing team seemed to tease them a bit with the excessive exaggeration of how long it was with a time ticking effect over the other girls’ reactions.

The rest of the group watched, their smiles growing as they witnessed the little moment between the two. It was clear, despite the playful teasing and occasional misunderstandings, that Y/N and Manon were closer than anyone could imagine.

Manon held the box up to her chest, beaming.

“Okay, so, Manon, you’re doing yours—!”

“Yoonchae, I swear to God, I’m telling you.” Lara held a hand up, “It’s me, you, Megan, Dani and then Y/N.”

The youngest huffed, unwilling to argue.

Sypnosis: Being the biggest extrovert in le sserafim meant you knew a lot of idols. Which means a lot of greetings at award events and a very possessive Yoonchae who doesn't like people hovering around you.

The hustle and bustle of end of year awards has arrived. Katseye had gained a lot of traction within their few months of being debuted causing them to be nominees and performers at this year's MAMA awards.

All idols were sat in the usual section in front of fans. Katseye is currently seated a row behind le sserafim, your group, which just so happened to be seated next to IVE. And to Yoonchae, you and Liz were being too close.

You are known as the "human magnet", the only extrovert in le sserafim, being able to make friends with anyone anywhere, no one hated you and you hated no one which made you one of the most loveable people in the industry.

So Liz and the other IVE members clinging onto you wasn't a surprise to Yoonchae. She knew you could have friends, she knew she couldn't restrict you from having them either but the way Wonyoungs hand rests on your bicep or the way Liz puts her hand on your knee was really pissing her off.

The first intermission of the whole 2-3 hour ceremony just came around and she already feels her blood boiling. The unbelievable thing to her was the fact that when the cameras stopped rolling you went immediately to ILLIT who won best rookie award, sure you went over there to congratulate them but you could've atleast came to say hi to the Kats first.

Yoonchae hasn't ever felt jealous or possessive before but her patience is being tested today as you prance around this venue "flirting"(thats what she thinks it is) with every thing that so much as has a pulse.

After a few arrangements in the venue during the intermission, Katseye ends up seated besides le sserafim, you're seated on the end and Yoonchae's seated first, leaving you two next to each other.

Yoonchae, despite being the older out of you two,(by only 2 months mind you), won't hesitate to act like a kid, which means pissing you off on camera the way you did, without even knowing you did(Chae lwk petty like that😭).

When she's sure cameras aren't paying attention to your two groups, her hand finds your knee, tracing small patterns on the fabric of your pants, an innocent thing she does even when you're at the building, but with the way her nails are poking into the fabric, you can tell there's something off about her behaviour.

The more she continues her antics, tracing her nail up to the middle of you thigh(not too high pls don't flame me😭) and tracing back down to your knee, the more annoyed you get, which is what leads to you practically dragging her to a secluded place when the second intermission comes around.

"What the hell Yoonchae" you whisper yell as you lock the door of a backstage room. She silently walks up to you, you, in turn, back up till your back hits the door. "Oh so now you get to be mad after all the stuff you've pulled tonight?" She says in a low intimidating voice. You start to stumble on your wards not even knowing what to say and quit honestly your brain just stopped computing.

She puts both her arms loosely around your neck, her right hand playing with the hairs at your nape. "You gonna explain or what?" She asks, snapping you out of your trance. "I-i haven't done anything tonight tho" you stutter genuinely trying to recall if you did something that you believe would've upset her.

"Oh so you flirting with anything and everything is nothing right?" She scoffs inching her face closer to yours. You try to back your head against the door but her hold the back of your neck stopped you. "Babe I didn't flirt with anyone" You say nervously. "So Wonyoung and Liz touching you like they have alterior motives?" she says as she presses a light kiss to your jawline. "Come on Chae be rational, they're way older than me, that can't happen" you state matter of factly, Yoonchae was so blinded by jealousy that she hadn't taken time to remember the age gap is illegal.

"Then what about ILLIT huh? You and Iroha seemed too close" she murmurs placing another kiss on the corner of your lips. "Me and roha are just friends" you say, which is also a fact but convincing Yoonchae would take more than that. "Roha? You even have a nickname for her" she scoffs. "Chae, I have nicknames for everyone" you say as you snake your hands around her waist.

"And plus, you're my girlfriend, I'm yours, and no one will ever change that ok?" You say pecking her lips. The look of possessiveness in her eyes melts away and she smiles, kissing you a little longer before pulling away. "Such a smooth talker" she giggles.

"You're not cleaning those off by the way" she says in reference to the lipstick marks she left on your jaw and the corner of your lips. Which causes you to look at her incredulously "Babe, it'll spark a scandal and my unnies will kill me" you grumble as you fix your hair, the back being a bit messed up. "Well next time think of your actions she giggles before pecking your cheek and walking our of the room first.

You do clean the ones on your face but decide to leave the one on your jawline for shits and giggles before going back to your group. The second you sit down Eunchae side eyes your neck and you know immediately this is going to be a long night and an even longer next few weeks, already knowing the cameras and fans have picked up on it.

defending KATSEYE (long post bc wtf)

i feel like hating KATSEYE should be an immediate red flag just in general, but especially in k-pop spaces. that should be means for immediate expulsion from fandom spaces, okay? right off the bat, probably a kboo. you don’t have to like their stuff, but if you’re one of these people who despise them/participate in the online hate train, there is smth deeply demented happening and my tingling spidey senses scream fetishization.

there is not a single scandal between Manon, Megan, Lara, Sophia, Yoonchae or Daniela (that’s six whole people to slip up over the years, and they haven’t!). not only are their demeanors very sweet, OT6 is ridiculously talented and dedicated to their craft. they’ve all been dancing like pros since childhood. they’re all gorgeous in their own lovely, unique ways. not a single bad singer or dancer. charisma 9,000. the only argument i’ve heard against KATSEYE is essentially that they aren’t all East Asian, which is gross for so many reasons.

1) they aren’t k-pop, j-pop, mandopop, or cantopop. they’re a global English-speaking group that uses the methods made by the k-pop industry. neither the girls nor HYBE Labels x Geffen Records have claimed the KATSEYE project as anything other than that.

2) we saw the same reaction to VCHA. people freaking out mostly over KG and Savanna, although i doubt the people complaining even knew the girls’ names. the moment an artist doesn’t fit their “uwu unnie/oppa” ideal, they get mad. as if the idols who do fit that standard are obligated to and as if that isn’t them outing themselves as kboos. every member of VCHA is qualified to be in VCHA and w recent accusations made against JYP-USA by former-member KG, they’ve clearly endured a lot of abuse to stay where they are… mind you, KG and many of the remaining members are minors and they were still subject to literal torture. any harassment atp of idols (particularly minors) needs to be dealt w swiftly. we know the industry won’t protect them, so we’ve gotta do smth.

3) these weirdos will hate on a group regardless of if they sing in Korean, like BLACKSWAN, who still are largely ignored and purposely overlooked despite their immense talent and great chemistry. all they see is no Koreans and a Black leader. they’ll also whine regardless of if they have mostly East Asian members, like NCT, whose Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, and American-born Korean members are given far less hype from fans and less promotion from their own company. this is mostly directed at the Zennies who treat Nakamoto Yuta like he is invisible. Johnny is given the shittiest lines possible and he is treated like a joke bc of it. Yuta, who has been waiting for his own solo for several years, barely got any promo that wasn’t a consecutive effort on the part of Ai (his fandom). WayV, whose members are mostly Chinese and Taiwanese (Ten is Thai) are continuously neglected by SM in ways a Korean unit would never be.

4) they are weird to mixed idols. you have likely seen it before, they’ll ostracize them for not being a “superior full-blooded Korean,” w a special credence saved for half White idols bc apparently hating on Wasians fixes the racism a lot of White people have. (so smart! wow!) TXT’s Hueningkai, Pristin’s Kyla, NWNJ’s Dani, and SVT’s Vernon. what makes this worse is half-Korean people in South Korean (labeled ‘halfers’) are almost always bullied as children. we’ve seen how bad Korean bullying can get, and it doesn’t usually change once they’re adults. in Vernon’s case, he was born in Manhattan but he moved to S. Korea when he was 5. he is culturally Korean. he speaks Korean more confidently than English. he even dropped his American citizenship and will be enlisting in the S. Korean military. he could have easily dodged mandatory service if he remained an American citizen, but he dropped it. he is Korean. he’s also been the most vocal about how he was bullied for having a White American mom and had to drop out bc of the ostracism and loneliness. yet people still other him, dilute him to either the “weird meme guy” or “hot guy w no thoughts,” when he’s arguably the most philosophical and socially conscious member. they still call him a White boy, in FAN SPACES.
