Set-up of a fictional movie: A squad of South Korean soldiers and a squad of North Korean soldiers discover these unnatural monoliths on their respective sides of the DMZ. Both monoliths are identical to each other and they seem to have been sculpted by someone. When the soldiers approach the monoliths, they end up being teleported to an unknown location.

(Note: later in the movie, it’s revealed they are in an ancient, underground city on Mars).

While trying to find a way back home, both squads are attacked by what appears to be alien monsters (think something along the lines of the Xenomorphs). The survivors of both squads are then forced to team up in order to stand a chance against the monsters and find a way back home…
