guys i think elden ring might be sucks. like well its a good game but i think its replayability is not very good at all for me, im feeling so bored trying to replay it. the map is way way too big everything is too far apart i love my cutey yonkey but i hate how much i just have to ride it in a random direction to get to something and then 75% of the things is like, a skyrim dungeon tileset thing. i know the smart way to do another play through would be to like beeline for The Stuff I Know I Want but that would require going on the wiki and reading up on everythings locations and making a spreadsheet and checklist and stuff and its like. ugh. idk man i have so much fun in the first area of this game its so well designed then as soon as i finish limgrave im like auuuuuuuugh i have to play the rest of it for real?

well i hope the dlc is designed more like limgrave and less like the consecrates snowfield. lol.

anyways my elden ring review as someone who has only played ds2 before playing elden ring: preddy fun when you ignore how frustrating/rng it can be. i surprisingly liked a lot of the "open world" exploration and found most of it pretty relaxing (when I wasn't getting scared about falling off cliffs, still my #1 talent btw) i think adding the yonkey was actually pretty nice for the gameplay i liked getting to wander around on the yonkey and just see the wretched and sickly world #vacationgoals

i enjoyed a lot of the bosses but on many of the "tougher" ones it kind of felt like rather than encouraging you to learn the fight the game just asks you to pray that the ai breaks or that you get lucky on which moves are chained together bc there are some combinations of moves that you just literally couldn't possibly dodge like i'm sure some sick freak gamer could but I can't because i'm mr bad at games so for that reason i generally liked the boss design of ds2 more. i do think the very fast elden ring boss fights were fun when all the moves had really good telegraphs my favorite fights by far were probably the death knights in the dlc bc i felt like i could actually tell what was going on (<-guy who gets overwhelmed by too much stimuli). Could anyone actually see the arena and tell what was going on during the Bayle fight

I have my issues with The Giggle but I really don't get the criticism that Ncuti Gatwa got overshadowed by David Tennant. For me it was the complete opposite, Ncuti was the big standout and he is clearly meant to be that.

At first I wasn't convinced but I did enjoy the execution of it. The 15th Doctor freshly regenerated and fully healed out of all his trauma is of course more than ready for action and adventure so he gets the more bombastic role while The 14th Doctor is tired and depressed so he gets a more laid back and sweet role to say goodbye.

I wouldn't say it was perfect, but I would say that this made Ncuti have more of an impact on me than the usual thing of the next Doctor appearing on the last 30 seconds of the episode to say "yonkey my bonkeys what is happening?!?"

the jury is still out on whether elden ring dlc is freaking epic misogyny brain chess like the old hunters or if its stupid and unfinished and they didnt want to make it. but so far im having more fun with it than the base game, the yonkey riding isnt grating on me too badly. and if youre having trouble with it, my advice to you is to grow up and stop swinging around your gay little katana like an idiot and try being a horrible screaming axe murderer like me.
