Woodz

Career: His career s going well, not only he is able to show a more true self on camera, he is happy to be free to communicate with his fans without much pressure or rules. Woodz also has a good communication and relationship with his company and honestly he is able to decide what he wants and what he doesn’t 

Love: He is currently dating someone, and this person is the base of his self esteem. Thanks to his partner he works on himself, he tries to be a best version of himself and it honestly helped with his self esteem issues. He is happy  

Spiritual: His energy is rather very neutral, I don’t sense negativity nor positivity, he is just patient and taking whatever comes his path and his way to work with 

DRP Ian

Career: I believe there’s a lot he doesn’t say, either to his fans and to his company. Ian keeps things to himself he doesn’t like people to know he struggles with x or x reason. I think he tries his best to portrait his idol image the best he can but Ian has troubles to show his true emotions and true self in front of the camera when it comes for work 

Love: I do believe he is in a relationship as well, but his partner I someone that his inner circle don’t approve/don’t like. However he has kept himself deaf to the comments of people and he has fought for the relationship. I also fee like communication might be hard for them and Ian sometimes feels very frustrated. 

Spiritual: I have no idea how his relationship with Mito is but at the moment I feel like the real Ian is slipping away since his energy is getting very low and it’s fading in a way to let space for something else. 

Dawn

Career: When it comes to his career he is actually happy with his situation. Dawn doesn’t need to be constantly providing something, he likes to have time for himself and for his own projects. He has been kind to people who work with him and also thoughtful to their needs so he knows not to ask for too much 

Love: Love is complicated, I feel like he is still healing his inner child and he is still trying to learn to live with himself and learn all about his own needs and what makes him happy or not. 

Spiritual: There’s something that bothers me on his energy is the lies that he might spread around him about his situation, about his relationships or about his state. The fact that he isn’t being honest with people and with himself affects his energy greatly 

Park Jihoon

Career: There’s a lot going on here, when it comes to his career, his company as full authority and power over him. He cannot do anything without their approval and all projects are decided for him. he doesn’t really has his word to say on this which is kinda of sad.

Love: He is in a relationship at the moment, his relationship is rather stable and cute, things are going well for them and it’s probably the only thing he has power over. 

Spiritual: He is coming to an end of something, probably an awakening he had or to an energy he has around him. At the moment I see him more neutral, but he definitely came out of a difficult period. 

Yongguk

Career: Thankfully everything is going well on his career, Yongguk calls the shots, he is the one planning his things out and he has total freedom on what he does and what he wants. Thankfully his experienced has helped him choosing something that works fo this mental and physical health 

Love: He is dating as well, his partner is someone he protects so much that he makes sure he doesn’t leave any clues for anyone to know who they are. He wants them to be protected from the public eye or at least from rumors so it doesn’t stain their image either 

Spiritual: His energy is complicated, since it changes whenever he is with someone. but Yongguk still struggles a lot with self esteem and how he sees himself and his worth so whenever he is on a lower mood, it’s complicated for him to see the true 

Hanbin 

Career: This boy is preparing something new for his fans, new music, new videos, new shows, new activities ! he is happy with where he is now, he has no regrets and Hanbin is able to grow properly and with love around him. 

Love: He is also in a relationship, a strong one and the way he loves them is quite impressive. He is also extremely loyal to his partner and his partner to him, it’s honestly a beautiful union 

Spiritual: However his energy is dark at the moment, probably because he has been dealign with unhealthy habits and a lot of non heal darkness that keeps haunting down. Hanbin struggles a lot with his mental health 

Somi

Career: in her case, her current situation isn’t making her happy, Somi feels betrayed ad abandoned by her company, she is basically doing nothing for herself and she feels that everything that she needs to do isn’t earning her anything. She feels alone and unheard by her company 

Love: She isn’t in an official relationship, but on a on and off fling with someone she has faith will become an official thing one day. Things are complicated enough that she doesn’t have time to actually enjoy a couple life 

Spiritual: At least her energy is peaceful and light, Somi works a lot on herself and on her inner self, she probably meditates a lot and works on her health too. The fact that she takes care of herself is actually helping her keeping her energy balanced and positive 

Hyuna

Career: She is definitely enjoying herself with people around her, with people she work with. She is very close to her coworkers and she goes out with them and has fun. Hyuna also spends a lot of money on her friends and on the company. I don’t think she has other artistic plans for now 

Love: She is healing, being resilient when it comes to love, she doesn’t want it nor does she wants to think of it for the moment. She believes she isn’t ready and that unless she heals what she needs to heal a relationship is off limit 

Spiritual: Her spiritual part is rather blocked, she doesn’t believe that much on that, and her mind is more focused on proper and material things. Like I said, Hyuna spends a lot of money on things to make herself feel better 

Kim Jaejoong 

Career: New opportunities are arising for him, Jaejoong has been talking with his company and sponsors to find new horizons and new projects to develop. I believe he wants to show his public he is a versatile artist and that he can do more things that what he has been sowing so far

Love: I believe he came out of a relationship very recently, this person simply left but so did he. It wasn’t taking them anywhere, they both didn’t had the same dreams or values and they have parted ways peacefully. They are friends just not a couple anymore 

Spiritual: His energy is soft and very balanced. Like most of them, it seems like he is able to control and process emotions and events in order not to get overwhelmed. Jaejoong is a spiritual being that has a high intuition and he uses it for his good luck.

"Colors of Bang Yongguk Tour" Fan Account - Oakland, CA (230616)

It’s been 2 days since I saw Yongguk live and he’s truly been on my mind non-stop for the last 48 hours. :’) 

>>Personal “Origin” Story<< Since B.A.P debuted and were active during my high school and college years, unfortunately I never had the money (or time) to be able to attend any of their concerts. When I saw that Yongguk was going on tour, I didn’t know what to think -- I’ve been in and out of my “kpop phase” for the last 12 years, and the only group that I consistently stanned throughout that time was BTS. All of my friends are either newer kpop fans or strictly girl group fans so I knew I’d be going to this concert alone, but ultimately I knew it wouldn’t be a big deal as I’ve gone solo to many concerts in the past. I saw the (shockingly) low price of the ticket and the venue being so nostalgic (I partied a decent amount at The New Parish pre-COVID lol) so I bought my ticket happily in May. The excitement did nothing but grow overtime.

I’ve been thinking about how many BABYz used to write fan accounts during fan signings/concerts waaay back in the day (if you were on Tumblr during 2012-2014, you’ll know what I mean). I remember being a teenager discovering kpop for the first time, having B.A.P be the first group where I started stanning since debut, learned every member’s name, kept up with releases on the daily, had Yongguk become my first “ult bias” (before I even knew what that was) and “fan’d” my heart out every comeback on Tumblr. I wanted to write a fan account to remember this concert but also hopefully share it with other long-time BABYz who are feeling nostalgic!

>>Going solo to the concert<< As (somewhat) expected, I met some amazing people in line as well as inside the venue who were also attending the concert solo! For me, I love hearing about how others got into stanning a certain musician or group as well as their favorite(s) song(s). As someone who didn’t grow up with other “kpop friends”, it felt so surreal to think that there were others like me 10+ years ago fully enjoying the same music, and having that musician tie everyone together now one decade later. Sometimes I get anxious in crowds and especially with strangers, but I did not feel that way for even a minute before, during, and after the concert. Maybe it’s a mix of the Bay Area/California and long-time BABY vibes. (Also fun sidenote: some people and I were comparing our tattoos in line and we said “Okay now it’s time for Yongguk to do a tattoo tour. Show the chest piece pls” -- So when Yongguk came out in that button-up shirt with only two buttons buttoned and his chest tattoo on full display… I need y’all to know we manifested that for everyone’s benefit. 😩��)

>>REACTION TO THE CONCERT & SONGS<< I’m not sure how long people were lined up for, but I arrived around 5PM (doors opened at 6PM and the concert started at 7PM) and I ended up standing to the right of the stage (Yongguk’s left) in the second/third-ish row right next to the speakers with an amazing up close view the entire night. (In hindsight, I should have remembered to bring my ear plugs because I’m not as young as I used to be and should probably take better care of my eardrums and hearing lol). Also, as I mentioned before, I knew the venue relatively well so I knew to go to the side closer to the stage rather than standing several rows back in the middle even if it meant having not as wide of a view of the stage. The person next to me and I were super excited because our angle meant we were going to be able to see the minute Yongguk appeared from off stage and onto the stage. 

Although normally I do not listen to the setlist of artists before their concerts, I hadn’t listened to Yongguk consistently in years so I did look up the setlist and made my own Spotify playlist to get myself hyped up and ready to sing along. As soon as Yongguk came out, I feel like I metaphorically blacked out for the first couple songs (GMT, Up, Race) because I did not remember those performances until I watched others’ fancams. I think I came to my senses during “Rain on Me” because that is THE twerk anthem. The sex appeal and confidence from him from the start of the concert (and especially during “Rain on Me”) was no joke. I feel like my jaw was probably embarrassingly dropped wide open for all of the first songs. There’s also something feral that awakes inside me everytime he says “you never fucking know” and the chorus of “UFO” starts then his voice DROPS a register as he starts rapping and hearing that live??? I was transported to another dimension.

When he started singing “Hikikomori” then went into “I Remember” I think it was then I realized he was doing this tour for us -- for the fans and the BABYz who have been here the whole time (or at least a very long time). As I’m writing this now and reflecting, everything he said during his ments/talks was him just continuously thanking us, telling us how much he loves us, and saying how it��s been “such a long time”. I literally could choke up thinking about it right now how he’s waited just as long as we have.

Yongguk asked the audience to put their phones down so he could make eye contact with every person. And like someone said, “when Bang Yongguk tells you to do something, you do it no questions asked.” Then he started singing “Screwed Up” while literally looking at every corner of the venue, balcony, floor, sidestage -- literally my delulu mind was convinced he was staring and flirting with me too. I lost the “IDGAF if this man notices me” war right then and there. (I have yet to find a fancam of “Screwed Up”, which is fair because he told us to put our phones down, but if anyone has a video of him literally making flirty eyes to the entire audience, PLEASE send it to me.) 

Right after “Screwed Up”, he goes into “Green” and at the end said something similar to “I wrote Green so I could sing it with all of my fans one day, so thank you for singing along with me.” and I just about sobbed. 

By “Ride or Die” and “YA” he is fully body rolling everywhere on stage, flirting with every single person in the audience, and everyone is losing their minds (including me).

Also at some point during the show he started sending so many air kisses to everyone. He also would be (seemingly) speechless in between sets and just repeated “wow… woah…” and kept showing his gummy smile 😭 The cheers were so loud inside the venue sometimes my ears were ringing just from the crowd singing and screaming so I wonder if he was in awe or wasn’t expecting that? (Even though he deserves all the love!)

Then at some point the crowd started chanting “take it off” (meaning his shirt that was truly barely hanging onto him) and he gets SHY and kept asking “Why?” -- I just don’t understand how someone can go from biting his shirt, flirting with the entire audience, body rolling nonstop on stage, to a completely genuine “I’m so shy” cute smiley lil baby. He was so cute I could barely process him going from rapping his lungs out to “uwu vibes” in the matter of seconds and the only single thought my single braincell had was “so cute so cute so cute”. Yongguk is truly the duality of mankind. (He did eventually give one more ab flash [in addition to his “tattoo sticker” promo shirt lifting] so you can find that photo floating around on social media.)

He threw water (from bottles he drank out of) into the crowd twice during “OFF” and “YAMAKAZI” and I have never been happier to be blessed with holy water. I think “OFF” is my favorite hype song in recent years so I absolutely loved hearing that live -- despite it being toward the second half of the show, his energy never stopped and the crowd’s energy also kept getting more and more hyped.

Towards the end Yongguk said, “Although tonight is the last U.S. stop for the tour, it’s not a goodbye. I promise to come back… I’ve said this all tour, but as much as you all love me, please also love yourself.” Before starting “Orange Drive”, Yongguk dedicated the song to his fans and his grandfather in heaven. Then during the encore, alongside the usual “Xie Xie” and “See You Later” he also sang “Ride or Die” one more time and did a lot of fanservice. 

His marketing worked because all the merch was soldout after the show, but I was able to snag the "tattoo sticker" sheet just like he suggested :') -- I am lowkey glad I was unable to get a meet & greet ticket because I feel like I was already internally combusting at the thought of having to meet him and take a selfie after the concert, so if it actually happened I probably would've externally exploded.

ALSO -- This man’s stamina is no joke though because he really kept going for a full 1.5 hours and jumping around on stage with minimal “ments/talking” in between songs. If this hadn’t been the last stop on his tour, I would have definitely considered attending another stop. If I had known how amazing of a performer he was and how great the energy would be to hear everything live (from him and the crowd), I would’ve balled out and gone to the LA stop the day before.

>>FUTURE?<< Yongguk promised he would release another album in the future and go on tour once again. Though none of us know when that will be, I know I will wait with anticipation for this experience to happen again (and again if he and/or other B.A.P members decide to tour). The combined elements of a small venue, love from BABYz and Yongguk, and seeing someone I feel like grew up alongside me is something that I won’t ever have the right words to describe, but can only feel. 🎤 Quem: O retorno dos astros de K-Pop BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON: 'Este álbum reflete o carinho durante o período de ausência'

Em uma entrevista para a Quem, os membros do BANG YONGGUK, JUNG DAE HYUN, YOO YOUNGJAE e Moon Jong Up, falaram sobre o EP 'CURTAIN CALL', suas expectativas para o futuro e recordaram momentos especiais com os fãs brasileiros

Os ex-integrantes do icônico grupo de K-pop B.A.P, BANG YONGGUK, JUNG DAE HYUN, YOO YOUNGJAE e Moon Jong Up, fizeram um retorno muito aguardado no início do mês de agosto. Sob o nome BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON, eles lançaram o EP CURTAIN CALL, marcando um capítulo final na história dos artistas e prometendo ser um "adeus bonito" para uma era que deixou uma marca indelével no cenário musical.

Em uma entrevista para a Quem, os membros compartilharam os detalhes por trás deste esperado retorno. No entanto, YOO YOUNGJAE não conseguiu participar da entrevista, e o quinto membro do B.A.P, Zelo, não pôde se juntar ao novo álbum devido ao seu serviço militar.

Ao ser questionado sobre o motivo do retorno depois de tantos anos, Moon Jong Up explicou a motivação por trás da reunião: “Falamos sobre isso há muito tempo, sobre a ideia da reunião, mas então seis anos se passaram. E agora acho que encontramos o tempo ideal porque sempre falamos sobre isso.” JUNG DAE HYUN acrescentou: “Eu acho que, como o B.A.P, eu não pensava que tínhamos isso encerrado. Então, se isso faz sentido, é como encontrar um fechamento na nossa carreira antiga, e eu acho que é assim que o nome ‘Curtain Call’ surgiu, como uma forma de encerramento.”

BANG YONGGUK ainda detalhou o processo de criação do álbum: “Trabalhamos com pessoas que trabalharam com a gente por muitos anos, já antes dos dias do B.A.P, e, no geral, muitas pessoas nos ajudaram. Recebemos muita ajuda e somos realmente gratos por isso. Isso resultou em um ótimo álbum.”

Sobre a faixa-título Gone, BANG YONGGUK explicou: “O conceito por trás disso foi, na verdade, como uma espécie de término de um relacionamento, uma partida. Se pensamos nessa ideia de partida, determinação do relacionamento, eu percebo que não é realmente o fim. Não existe um verdadeiro fim. Então, eu acho que o título reflete isso: é uma partida, mas sem um fim específico. E é uma boa maneira de relembrar sobre os membros e o que compartilhamos juntos.”

Sentimentos esperados com CURTAIN CALL

JUNG DAE HYUN falou sobre o impacto emocional do álbum: “A ideia de um ‘Curtain Call’ é um ‘fim’, um encerramento. Quando questionados se os membros sabiam algo sobre a cultura brasileira, BANG YONGGUK expressou que, embora o foco de seu trabalho tenha sido frequentemente a promoção da cultura coreana ao redor do mundo, ele reconhece a falta de oportunidades para conhecer mais sobre o Brasil na Coreia do Sul. “Sinto que, de certa forma, nosso trabalho também é expressar e mostrar a cultura coreana para o mundo. Uma das coisas que pensei sobre suas perguntas é que talvez não haja tantas oportunidades na Coreia para realmente conhecer o Brasil. Assim como gostamos de ir ao Brasil e fazer com que as pessoas conheçam a cultura coreana, gostaríamos de ter mais oportunidades para conhecer a cultura brasileira na Coreia.”

JUNG DAE HYUN relembrou a experiência marcante que tiveram no Brasil durante o “Music Bank” em 2014. “Music Bank no Brasil é uma memória realmente forte para nós. Os fãs brasileiros nos surpreenderam com a cultura e tudo mais, porque estavam tão empenhados e, ao mesmo tempo, aproveitando aquele momento intensamente. Era como se a empolgação e a paixão não pudessem ser contidas, e realmente sentimos que cada fã, individualmente, é como se fosse um artista por si só.”

Hey! What do you think about B.A.P?

i was a big b.a.p fan from right when they debuted to ca. 2014 and can say i genuinely think they are one of the two defining groups of kpop's 3rd gen - because they made it. one shot is one of the most apparently 3rd gen kpop songs that has ever existed and for someone who grew up listening to lots of 90s and 00's hip-hop the song in itself is almost an entire pastiche of different influences from the time. b.a.p did a lot of that, and better than a lot of groups that came after them or rose up at the same time. i have gotten a lot of flack for it before, but it's obvious that b.a.p sort of got the faster ticket to the exact standing in idol culture that bang pd later achieved with bts. if the lawsuit and other things wouldn't have happened, b.a.p would have been as big as bts, or bigbang at the time, and would have made it alongside exo to that cult status as both groups were sort of vying for that at the time.

i think b.a.p really showcased the origin of 3rd gen sounds. their discography is deeply entrenched in sound from the 00s and early 2010s and you can tell. listening to their music makes me extremely nostalgic because of that. they also had "actual" rappers in their group with yongguk and zelo, who were as good as bts' rapline and who really were rappers in the sense of the word you only really get with artists like b.i in k-hip-hop these days. b.a.p was one of the groups that so overtly and heavily borrowed from black music, not only hip-hop, and really bridged that with more classically eastern sounds in a way many groups would follow as a defining soundscape of kpop. coma is one of the best kpop songs of the last decade to me. it's almost too perfect with the way it blends the top vocal line of the song with its hip-hop sound. no one ever had the magic touch quite like that and helped put a distinct kpop sound on the map before noisier edm music took over. all of that is to be taken with a grain of salt, though, as they have been a product of the time and due to their sound there was also just several instances of cultural appropriation that were very common at the time (as it was for most groups but it still needs to be mentioned.)

i only really have kept up with yongguk, zelo and jongup, but i am always delighted to still see them hang out and work with each other. seeing zelo on street fighter and jongup on peak time thrilled me because these two are just extremely talented and it would have forever been a shame for their artistry to go to waste. jeongup's solo was great! i don't think b.a.p will ever reunite in an official sense or release music again, for obvious and evident reasons, but the mark they left on kpop is undeniable and i am glad to see the members continue as solo artists while still letting the world know they're still close to each other.

HimChan í, vừa là cái người mà gần 20 tháng trước nhan sắc khuynh đảo chúng sinh bao nhiêu thì 20 tháng sau đã trở thành một con nhợn biết đi và cũng vừa là cái người sở hữu chất giọng đặc sệt như rượu vang nghe sếch-xi tưởng chết, làm mình bao lần nhầm lẫn với giọng của Bbang. Chất giọng ấy, đến tận bây giờ, vẫn là thứ khiến mình phải ngừng hết m���i hoạt động đang làm chỉ để chú tâm vào, mỗi khi Blind vô tình được bật lên. Đối với mình mà nói, HimChan là người rất quan trọng, quan trọng với cả Yongguk và Báp. Bọn mình hay đùa rằng bên cạnh Thang Duy - hình mẫu lý tưởng, Tiger - người tình thuở thiếu thời thì muốn chạm đến con tim của Yongguk, phải qua được HimChan - chánh cung nương nương. Thật vậy, moments của BangHim không bao giờ hiếm, đến nỗi dường như đã trở thành lẽ tự nhiên, chỉ có Yongguk mới có thể lạnh lùng tạt câu nói như gáo nước lạnh vào mặt Him "Hôm nay sinh nhật cậu à, tí thì quên" và cũng chỉ có HimChan mới được tự do ôm ấp rồi tay đan tay trong sinh nhật Yongguk trước toàn thể sự chứng kiến của thế giới, còn lại, đố đứa nào dám =))) HimChan í, nhìn mặt là thấy cả một bầu trời đanh đá rồi, vậy mà nghe Yongguk nói thế cũng hóa thành mèo, lườm cho một cái rồi thôi.
