A\N: AS always I did not create the Gif I do not posses those skills I used the gif search bar. If you are the creator of any of the gifs I've used and would like to to Gove you proper credit please let me know and I will edit to tag you for the credit. I know I’ve been gone forever and I’m getting flakier and flakier and at this point I’m truly surprised if anyone still follows any of my stories. Again, I apologize the headspace has been utter garbage and I’m fighting as hard as I can to get content written and posted if only, I could get the headspace and the family to cooperate at the same time that would be wonderful. After all that rambling, here’s the story, enjoy and happy reading.
Yondu began to talk to Y\N trying to calm her anxiety that seemed to spike out of nowhere in the middle of the night taking her hand from his thigh and bringing it up to his lips to place a gentle kiss on the back of it before placing it over his heart.
“Darlin’ I don’t know what’s got you fretting all of a sudden, but I want you to listen to me. As long as that heart right there is beating you ain’t ever gotta worry ‘bout nothin’ getting you in the night. I promise you that.”
Yondu, as gently as he could, pulled Y/N to his chest and slowly rocking her back and forth trying to calm her as quickly as possible. He didn’t know what she may have been through, but he knew it had to have been something terrible to have her this out of sorts from simply being in a different bed than her own. Why hadn’t she realized yet that she and the boy were the two safest ones on that ship as long as he was around. Yondu would rather sacrifice his own life than to ever let either or those two get hurt in any way, shape, or form.
If Y/N questions, her safety still after being on his crew for this long, could something have happened with them or was this something from her life back on Terra messing with her still? Yondu made a mental note to try and ease her into opening up as to why she had this reaction later when she was actually awake enough to delve into potential past traumas.
Yondu managed to get her calmed and back to sleep within about an hour of her waking as she had, and it was a restful rest of the night. As the day started it came with the sounding of alarms to wake and get to work on the ship. More maintenance for the ship and caring for Peter he was still young and needed taught the basics or everyday life all be it not the everyday life that was expected by him and Y/N.
Yondu carefully woke Y/N and handed off her daily Ravager attire of her denim coveralls with the Ravager emblem over the part that rests over her heart and the pants and plain white tee she wore under them. She offered a small smile as she took them and hurried off to the captain’s bathroom to ready herself for the day.
Once dressed she left the captain’s quarters, checked in on Peter, and started on her daily tasks. She did her best to avoid Yondu all day and for the most part she was successful until it came time for the nightly meal.
Yondu basically cornered her asking her why she had been avoiding him all day to which she tried to get away without responding. She wasn’t ready to talk about what had happened the night before and was going well out of her way to avoid it. She just wasn’t ready for that particular conversation with Yondu. She thought if he knew what caused her to wake the way she did in his bed he would see her as ‘soft’ and that would be the end of their relationship. Something she wasn’t ready for, nor did she want.
Yondu decided to let her avoid their conversation at that moment but was determined to at least find out what had happened last night that she had woken up so terrified. He left her eat and socialize like she normally would, but he watched her closely. Waiting for her to decide to call it a night and retire to her quarters for the night after making sure the boy was in for the night. Once she had tucked the boy in then Yondu would make his move and get her to talk to him.
Yondu was waiting outside of Peter’s quarters for Y/N to finish up the boy’s nightly bedtime routine. A fact that Y/N was unaware of until she exited Peter’s room. Upon realizing Yondu was waiting for her startled her which caused her to let out a little yelp of surprise before greeting him.
“You surprised me Cap. Wasn’t expecting you to be lurking just outside the door, Sir.” She spoke barely loud enough to be heard by him and made no efforts to make eye contact. She wasn’t entirely up for the conversation she knew was about to be had but she knew Yondu was like a bulldog with a bone when he wanted answers.
“Well Darlin’, you’ve done an excellent job of avoiding me today and I needed to talk witcha ‘bout las night…” He stopped and gave her a knowing look he had a feeling this was going to be a hard conversation to have with Y/N, but he needed to confirm his theories about his love. Deep down he wanted to be worried over nothing more than a simple bad night but something in his gut told him there was more to it. He really hoped it wasn’t as bad as he feared.
With a sigh Y/N nodded and agreed to talk with him only in his private quarters as to not risk the rest of the crew overhearing the conversation. She motioned to Yondu to lead the way back to his room as she was clearly not in any hurry to have that conversation.
Her childhood was the one thing that she never talked about. It wasn’t a good experience and not something she enjoyed revisiting. It was a harsh reminder that she was damaged goods. A fact her father would remind her of almost daily. Y/N was starting to feel the anxiety build at the thought of telling Yondu what caused that nightmare the night prior. The fear of her father’s words ringing true was weighing heavily on her. What if they were true what if once Yondu finds out about how damaged she was and decided he wasn’t interested in her anymore because the trauma was too much to deal with on top of everything else on his shoulders. What if he agreed with Y/N’s father, that she was in fact completely unlovable…
To Be Continued…

Touch me
Pairing: Yondu Udonta x female reader
Word count: approx. 300
Warnings: sexual tension
Summary: You have a thing for Yondu and he knows it, deciding to let you have what you want
---
Like many times before, you were doing your job while being totally lost in a fantasy about your captain, and because of it didn't even notice him entering the room. He walked right behind you and you only realized he was there when you felt his warm breath on your skin. You flinched, but didn't have time to do anything before his strong hands found their way to your hips.
"It seems like you're not really focusin’ on your work, hun. So tell me… Whatcha ya thinkin’ about?" Yondu asked seductively right next to your ear.
Shivers ran down your spine and your heart rate quickened.
"You, actually", you breathed out. You could feel your cheeks heating up and your crotch starting to tingle sweetly, and it was all because of him.
"Is that so? What about me?”
His words were followed by a nervous silence. You couldn't say a thing. How on earth could you tell your captain you had just fantasized about how those fingers would feel on your most sensitive spot? Only the thought of telling it made you shiver.
“Lemme guess”, Yondu murmured, moving his hands slowly up and down your sides. “Ya were thinkin’ how these hands would feel on your body.”
You gasped, but it turned quickly into a moan when his hands got right under your breasts. You felt all dizzy and weak, not believing it was actually happening.
“All ya need to do is say the words”, he whispered.
“Captain… please, touch me”, you stammered breathlessly.
Yondu's warm hands grabbed your breasts as soon as the words had left your lips. You arched your back and whimpered out of pleasure. He kissed your neck, and before you realized it, his other hand had found its way between your legs where you had wanted it for too long. You knew there was no turning back now, but that wasn’t a problem at all!

Temporary Home : Chapter 32
Guardians of the Galaxy fanfic | Reader x Guardians (With Yondu and Kraglin!)
Summary: What happens when Rocket wants to make amends, but Agent isn't ready to hear them? Or even willing to acknowledge that Rocket exists?
Previous Chapter here | Next Chapter Here Or click here to: Start From Beginning
Author’s Note: Thank you to @obsessedbigtime for the suggestion of the nightmare scene, as well as all the anons for their suggestions for scenes! For my records this chapter ends on day 101 of the Guardians living with reader. Enjoy!
Word Count: 3,654
You withdrew from the world for several days after what Rocket did.
Well, as much as the others would allow, anyway.
Yondu was the first to wake the next day- or so he thought when he found you in the kitchen, already drinking and halfway to piss drunk at just barely 9:00am. He didn't waste time with talks about feelings or any of that junk. Rather, he simply walked up to the table, nicked your bottle, and continued about his way to the pantry.
Of course, you didn't like that, and you did make an attempt to get your bottle back, but stopped when he wordlessly threatened to dump it by holding it over the sink until you backed down.
He also threw one of the pre-packaged pastries he had retrieved from the pantry at you, which hit you in the chest before you caught it, as a way to tell you to put some food in your stomach before you slunk off to go be alone somewhere else.
Somewhat foolishly, however, he hadn't considered that you would eventually just go to the cellar for another, which he caught you with sometime around noon, and again which he confiscated without a word.
The two of you might have had another silent fight about this, had it not been for a knock at the door.
Begrudgingly you go to answer it, and open the door to see a sharply dressed woman in thick rimmed glasses holding a notebook.
"Hi! I'm Dr. Adams, and I'm a therapist sent by SHIELD to-"
You shut the door in her face and go up to your room.
Gamora and Yondu share a look after having witnessed the exchange, and Gamora considers for a moment letting the woman in herself, but they could already see through the frosted window the shadow of the woman was retreating back to her car, almost as if she had been told to expect that that might happen and not to push if it did.
* * *
That evening Yondu finds you retrieving one of the confiscated bottles from the fridge and takes it again.
You roll your eyes but just start to walk away.
This time Yondu knows where you're probably going, however, and he whistles, sending his arrow to hover right in front of your face. The message was clear. You were not going to go to that cellar for another bottle unless you wanted run through with his arrow.
He thought he'd won, that was, until he could see you were actually considering it, and then he just called his arrow back, sat your ass in one of the kitchen chairs, slapped a glass of water and an apple down in front of you, and sat there with you until you finished it.
(In this process he also gave Peter a heart attack, who came running with Kraglin to make sure everything was good when they heard the whistle- only to then just nod approvingly (and in relief that no one was dead) when they saw him more or less babysitting you.)
* * *
The rest of the night you spent alone in your room, and had fallen asleep by the time Mantis went to bed.
Honestly Mantis was relieved to see you sleeping, and she briefly considered using her abilities to ensure you had kind dreams, but she didn't. She still felt bad for the day before and didn't know if you were already mad at her for trying to break her promise of not using her abilities on you without permission. If so, she didn't want to make it worse- even if you'd probably never know if she'd done it given you were asleep.
She would feel guilty that she hadn't later though, when she was woken by the sound of you waking with a start from a nightmare, and then leaving the room.
Mantis wasn't the only one you had woken. Yondu had also heard you leaving your room in the middle of the night, and, when he heard you going down the stairs, and knowing you were wont for leaving the house in the middle of the night when you were upset, decided to follow you and stop you from going out in the cold-ass night like an idiot.
However, when he got downstairs he noticed you had instead retreated to the sitting room, and you were just sitting on the sofa, in the dark, crying softly to yourself.
He softened then, and decided to sit with you rather than to leave you alone. To his surprise you didn't try to shoo him away or anything, instead allowing yourself to be held in silence as you cried until you ran out of tears.
* * *
The next day was much of the same, as was the day after that.
You avoided everyone, not speaking, barely eating, having your whiskey constantly confiscated. The therapist from SHIELD would show up, and you would shut the door in her face.
On the third day, however, after you once again brushed off the therapist and shut the door on her, she knocked again.
You roll your eyes, but do open the door once more.
"I'm sorry to inform you of this, but Director Fury has made it clear that if you don't accept these visits SHIELD will be forced to terminate you."
You stare at her for a long moment, before shutting the door in her face again for the second time that day.
Peter had heard the entire exchange from the sitting room, and hearing that you were about to throw your whole career away, the one thing that seemed to keep you going and that you were desperate to keep when they first arrived, made him immediately jump up from his seat and rush to the door.
You were already partway up the stairs by the time he flung the door open and called out to the therapist, who was still on the steps, that, "She'll do it! She'll do it!"
Hearing this, you turn around at glare at him from the staircase, but he only turned to meet your gaze in turn and said firmly, "You'll do it." Turning back to the therapist and beckoning her inside before closing the door, he said a third time, "She'll do it. I know she loves her job- she'll do it."
You continue to glare at him and clench your teeth. You consider brushing her off again, but since she was already inside and it was clear Peter wasn't going to let it rest, you just sigh and motion for the woman to follow you to your room.
That said, even after she leaves you still remain withdrawn from the others. In fact, it isn't until the next day that you actually speak a word to anyone, and that was to Mantis.
Mantis had somewhat learned how to use your Terran stove, at least well enough to boil the kettle, in the time they'd all been staying with you.
On this day she wanted to make some hot cocoa for herself and Groot. She had attempted to offer you some as well, but you only shook your head to decline, though you did stay in the kitchen to keep an eye on her under the guise of scrolling on your phone at the table, sat alongside Gamora and Drax- who also had declined the cocoa.
Everything was going just fine, until somehow Mantis burnt herself.
You didn't see how it happened, only heard her cry of pain after the fact which caused you to jump up into action.
"What happened? Let me see- Here, let's run that under some cool water."
All of this half-surprised Drax and Gamora. Not the fact that you jumped to help her, but for the fact that they hadn't heard you say a word in four days now. They were glad to see you talking again, though they perhaps wished it was under different circumstances.
The burn didn't appear very bad, which was good, but you still needed to treat it. As you had her running her hand under the water you retrieved the first-aid kit from under the sink and prepared the aloe and a bandage for her burn.
Once she was all fixed up you opted to finish making the cocoa for her, and deliberated if she needed more supervision around the stove in the future.
* * *
You weren't surprised when Fury showed back up the next day, but you were disappointed to see he brought the therapist in tow.
Part of you hoped he would wait longer before coming back, seeing as he was just there a few days ago, but you also knew you were due for a restock on supplies, so he was bound to stick to his "schedule" regardless.
The visit was awkward, to say the least, though moreso for the Guardians. You begrudgingly had your little therapy session in your room, and the others helped Maria unload the van and put things away for the first ten minutes, answered the basic check-in questions for the next ten, and spent the rest of the hour awkwardly sitting around and waiting for you and the therapist to finish up so Fury and Agent Hill could leave.
The only one who didn't make much of an appearance was Rocket, who had also been laying low the past few days. He wasn't as withdrawn as you, but it was clear to the others that the guilt was eating at him- which was a side they don't think they had really ever seen of him before.
Then again, they also didn't think he had ever fucked up quite like this before, either.
He came out for maybe five minutes just because Fury liked to visually make sure all the Guardians were accounted for each check in, but retreated back to his room almost immediately after.
For the first couple days everyone was mad at him- and they still were- but after a bit they started to see he actually did feel really bad about what he had done.
Not once had he attempted to make any excuses, or say that you had overreacted, or anything else he usually did to avoid taking accountability for his shitty behavior. In turn, this made the others start to ease up on the disappointed and/or dirty looks they would give him. If anything, they were almost starting to feel sorry for him. Not in a "he should be forgiven" way, but because they knew it had genuinely been an accident- a very bad, very stupid, accident- and for the first time since they'd known him, he actually seemed quite remorseful of something he had done.
And they were right about that. Even Rocket couldn't remember a time when he felt this bad for something he did. Those first few days he could barely look any of his friends in the eye, and when he did they either looked back in disappointment, disgust, or a mixture of both. The only one who didn't was Groot, but that was just because he was so young and didn't quite understand what had happened that night.
Rocket mostly stayed in his room anymore, but when he did come out he made an effort to avoid you. He wanted to say sorry, he really did.
But he just felt like he couldn't face you just yet. Maybe he'd try tomorrow.
* * *
Peter had noticed the next evening that you seemed to feel a little better, in the sense that you had actually started speaking a few words now and then. Well, to anyone but Rocket that is- who you seemed to be ignoring the existence of on the rare occasion that he showed his face around you.
Regardless, Peter thought he'd try something to help cheer you up- and he hoped it wouldn't backfire and make things worse.
He was about to find out which that would be, as he watched you enter the kitchen and saw you were heading to the fridge for a drink.
Sitting at the table, he watched you open the fridge door, reach in, and hesitate... before finally pulling out a bottle of juice and staring at it for a moment.
Peter had drawn goofy faces on everything in the fridge.
You turn to him, automatically assuming he was the culprit, and raised an eyebrow.
"Surprise?" Peter said, laughing nervously. "I thought you could use some cheering up?"
"Hmm," is all you respond before pouring yourself a glass of the juice, but Peter could have sworn he saw a slight smile as you shook your head.
He'd consider that a win.
Rocket saw you in the hallway as you were taking your juice to your room. He shied back for a moment, as he had the other three times he'd come in contact with you that day, but decided now he was finally going to try and speak up.
He stepped forward and tried to get your attention as you crossed the hall from the kitchen to the staircase.
"Uh, Agent?" he said softly.
You didn't seem to have heard him, so he tried again, a little louder this time and moving to stand on the first step so you'd notice him.
And you did, but had little to offer him but a half glance before you continued up the stairs without a single word.
"Right... maybe later." Rocket said softly as his ears fell, speaking mostly to the air at that point.
He could try again tomorrow.
* * *
'Tomorrow' didn't work out so well either.
Rocket tried several times to talk to you, even to just say 'hi' or make small talk before trying to build up to the apology. Every time it was like you didn't even notice he was there.
At breakfast he gave you a quiet, "Morning, Agent." You just turned away with your bowl of cereal, causing Rocket to shrink back and just nibble on his protein bar instead.
Later that morning he passed you on the stairs and said, 'Hey-' You continued climbing as if you had not heard him, leaving him to continue his descent looking dejected.
Sometime that afternoon you were trying to reach something on top of the fridge, and Rocket offered to climb up and get it for you. You grabbed a nearby chair and got it yourself, never looking at him or acknowledging his presence. Gamora and Peter, who also happened to be in the room, looked at Rocket with pity as he slumped out of the room.
A little later he actually made a point to get your attention in the hall, asking if he could talk to you. This time you did finally look at him, just briefly, before merely turning away and going to your room.
Rocket's shoulders fell and he looked at the ground. 'Way to go, asshole,' he thought, 'You make a friend, and then screw up everything- just like you always do.'
* * *
Having finally started to come out to join the others more often again, you were relaxing in one of the armchairs in the sitting room after supper. Peter had turned on a random action movie for himself and Drax and you were only half paying attention to it while scrolling on your phone.
At some point Peter pauses the movie to go make some popcorn, leaving you and Drax alone in the room. You happen to glance over while he's gone, and for some reason in that moment you felt like you were really noticing Drax's tattoos for the first time. Which was odd, considering he had started wearing shirts more often due to the colder weather. Today he was wearing a vest/jacket type thing, and you could see the tattoos on his exposed arms.
They were raised, more like scars than tattoos, really. And they were so intricate- you wondered how he got them, or if they had any meaning.
So, you decide to ask, or rather, you asked permission to ask, which Drax seemed confused by initially- because why would one need to ask permission to ask a question? But eventually you got around to it.
He told you that the markings on his body were the story of his life.
Pointing to his right bicep he said, "This one here, my soul union with my wife, Ovette, upon Mount Kylos," he then partially unzipped his vest to point to another on his chest, "This is the day Kamaria, my daughter, was born."
"I didn't know you had any children," you say softly. "Where are your wife and daughter now?"
Drax zipped up his vest. "They were slain by Ronan the Accuser."
"Oh-" your eyes widened. "I'm so sorry-" You thought you remembered that name from a story Peter had told awhile back, but you didn't remember any mention of him having killed Drax's family at that time...
"He is dead now."
"Oh..." That's right- you had forgotten that was the name of guy the Guardians claimed to have killed with 'the power of friendship' (your words, not theirs)
"But he was only a puppet. It's really Thanos I need to kill."
You blink in surprise. "Oh-" That was another name that you thought sounded familiar.
"And I shall do so, once I and my friends are no longer confined to Terra by the Nova Corp and your planet's weak version of the Nova Corp they call SHIELD."
"I... believe you will..." you reply awkwardly, as there was only so many times one could respond with just, "Oh."
"Thank you. And I believe you too shall one day kill the person who has slain your family." Drax paused, as if reconsidering his words. "Or perhaps one day I may help you with the killing- as you are small and weak like Peter. You would be unlikely to succeed on your own."
You weren't sure if he had only correctly assumed what happened to your family, or if Fury had filled them in on the details of why you nearly killed Rocket the other night after you left, or if it was possibly a combination of both, but you just nod your head before responding with something you weren't totally sure if Fury even knew- though chances are he probably did.
"I already have."
* * *
Rocket laid in bed the next morning, just staring at the ceiling and trying to think about how he might be able to get you to talk to him again. You had brushed off every single attempt he had made over the past few days, and he was starting to wonder if he should just give it a rest for awhile and wait for you to start talking to him again on your own.
But what if you never did?
Rocket realized that he and his friends would eventually leave. What if that day came and you still wouldn't talk to him? Not even giving him a chance to say goodbye?
Wait- What was he thinking? Sappy goodbyes were for losers! What did he care if you never spoke to him again?
But he did. He did care. And he hated it. Just like he hated himself for screwing up what might have been a cool friendship.
* * *
A knock sounded at the door and you sighed, annoyed that your morning had been interrupted.
The therapist was back, yet again.
At least you had had the weekend to yourself- but still. How long was Fury going to force you to keep doing this? And/or how long you were going to need to keep up the bi-weekly visits before you were finally at least allowed to go down to one?
Regardless, you let her in and get it over with.
After your session and while you were seeing the therapist out, Yondu could see how annoyed you were with being forced to talk to the shrink. He could also see, however, that since you finally started doing so you weren't nearly as withdrawn as you had been those first few days. Hell, he hadn't needed to confiscate your whiskey at all the past couple, either.
He was also overjoyed to see you smile again, although he nearly missed it.
In the back of the sitting room Yondu and Peter had been arguing over the details of a past job they worked, disputing whether it had been Peter who had given away their position, or if that had been Gef.
Peter, of course, blamed Gef. Yondu, however, swore he remembered Peter having fallen on his ass and knocking over some bins in the warehouse they were looting.
Eventually, growing tired of the argument, Yondu just started responding back to Peter in gibberish- much to Peter's irritation.
It was after responding to Peter's, "Really! We're doing this now?" with another round of, "Bollie Boli bo-" that Yondu happened to glance over just in time to see you sitting in the rocking chair, hiding a grin behind your book and trying not to make it evident that you were listening in.
So, Yondu continued, riling Peter up with his gibberish responses just to see you gently shaking with laughter behind your book until Peter finally had enough and just left the room, rolling his eyes and calling Yondu a 'childish doofus.'
Yondu decided to follow him out and smiled- both in satisfaction at having been able to annoy Peter, and also to see you were able to smile again.
He knew that shouldn't be important to him. This situation was only temporary, after all. Soon enough they should be able to go back- and you wouldn't be coming with them. But still, it was. Despite knowing better, it was important to him.
It would seem, to his chagrin, that Kraglin might have been right. He was growing attached... but like hell he was ever going to give his first mate the satisfaction of admitting it.

Chaos from the Stars
I'm trying something new so bear with me. I've never written an "x reader" fic before, but I want to try it.
I'm focusing on some of my favorite characters that get like 0 media and screen time
Reader is gender neutral
Summary: Two Ravager ships get damaged in battle so they make an emergency landing on the nearest planet; Earth. Unfortunately for them, they land in the middle of a field near someone's home, and now a human is involved.
Beginning | Next
Freezing, late November air rolled across the fields outside and carried snow toward a single house in the middle of the country.
It was 4 am on a Friday morning, and you were asleep. At least until you heard a loud whooshing sound, followed by heavy, booming thuds that practically shook the land. On top of that, the area was now completely lit up, including your bedroom.
You shot up, grabbed your coat, shoes, and ran outside, thinking there had been a plane crash or something. The icy air enveloped you and bit at your skin as soon as you stepped onto the porch. Frosted grass crunched under your shoes as you ran toward the field. You weren't sure what you were going to find, but still thinking it to be a plane crash, you hoped maybe you could be of help.
Instead what you found was far more confusing, and didn't make sense. There were two large air crafts that didn't look like anything you'd seen before. They weren't planes, that was for sure. One was smoking, and red lights flashed from inside, and you could faintly hear an alarm. The other was tilted on its side, and all the lights were shut off.
The door on the flashing ship opened and people started to evacuate. Only when you stepped closer, you noticed they looked a bit.. not human. Sure, many of them looked human, but others had green or blue skin, some had crested skulls, red eyes, or sharp teeth.. They weren't human.
A blue man jogged down out of the ship, coughing as smoke rushed out after him. He had some sort of red fin on his head, and spoke with a rough voice, commanding the men to get to the other ship and help them open their door.
You watched as at least twenty men rushed over and began prying at the door until it finally opened, and a different crew exited.
A human looking man exited, followed by another who looked like he was made of glass or crystal.. Then a large, red alien with a tail instead of legs, and fins for ears, a woman, and a very large man in a yellow suit.
The human looking man immediately made his way over to the blue man and they seemed to launch into an argument on sight.
You couldn't make out everyone, as the area was only lit up by the lights from the ship that was smoking, and many of the men were standing in the darkness, trying to get away from all the smoke.
You almost forgot you were even standing there, just watching the scene unfold, until you heard a voice call out over the loud arguing.
"Cap'in, I don't mean to interrupt, but there's a Terran.." said another human-looking man, this one a little scrawny with pointed ears. You didn't think he was human, but he did look like it.
Suddenly the attention was on you. At least thirty something men out here, and all of them had turned toward you.
"I-" your own voice came out as a squeak, both from the sudden shyness and the lack of use, as it was four in the morning and you had just woken up, "I heard a crash, I thought maybe someone had gotten.. hurt.." you explained, your eyes flicking from alien to alien. You took a step back, intimidated.
The human-looking man that had just been arguing with the blue alien turned and approached you. He took your hand and shook it without giving you the chance to even raise it first. "Stakar Ogord. I apologize for landing our ships and damaging the field here, we needed to make an emergency landing."
"The fields not mine-" you started, but he continued like he didn't even hear you.
"We may have to stay here until we can get our ships repaired and in the air again. Until then, I guess we'll be your neighbors. No one should bother you, I just recommend you stay in your yard." He gave a rough pat to your shoulder and turned around, walking back toward the group, leaving you standing there.
Your mind was racing, and the exhaustion wasn't helping. In fact, you were half convinced this was a dream. You looked over at the blue man with the red crest, and he just waved you off, like he was shooing you back to your house. His message was clear.
We don't need your help.
With nothing left to say, and apparently nothing to do, you did the only thing you could think of and went back inside. You shut and locked the door, took your coat off, and stepped out of your shoes.
You wanted to go back to bed, but there was no way you could do that with maybe thirty to fourty aliens just outside. Instead, you started the coffee maker and figured you'd just start the day early, at 4:30 in the morning. That was fine. Five hours of sleep wasn't terrible. After you'd poured your cup, you remembered something and stepped back outside onto the back porch.
Once you found what you were looking for, you stepped back inside, shut the door, and started to pour a second cup of coffee, this time into a thermos.
You put your coat and shoes back on, and grabbed an extra coat from the closet before you headed back out, jogging back toward the group, right for the red snake-like alien.
He turned to face you and you froze. No mouth.
Suddenly the gesture felt silly and pointless.
He continued to stare, as did some of the others.
"Uh.. Well, I saw you.. earlier, when the ship- .. Well anyway, you look reptilian, and I thought maybe you were cold blooded, and it's twenty degrees out here.. Which isn't very safe for cold blooded creatures in general, so I brought you a coffee and an extra coat.. But uh.. Well I guess you can still use the coat." You said, handing it over, relived that he actually took it and put it on, bowing his head in silent thanks.
You heard a chuckle from that man earlier, Stakar. "He can still have the drink, his mouth is in his chest. But thank you, on behalf of Krugarr here, for thinking of him."
You could tell he was trying to be polite in order to stay civil, though he was trying to focus on the ships and the fact that they were all stranded now.
The red alien -Krugarr, you learned his name was- bowed his head again and accepted the drink. You realized he also was just trying to be polite, knowing you had good intentions.
You turned your attention back to Stakar. "Is there anything I can do to help? There's like forty of you, all stranded out here.. Do you need food or water maybe? Or a place to stay? My house isn't very big, but I've got a barn on my property that isn't being used."
The blue man with the red crest stepped up. "Can't you see we're handling it? Look, the gesture is appreciated, but we're fine. We don't need your help. We'll stay on our ship-"
"The ship that looks like it's on fire?" You retorted. "You'll die of smoke inhalation. My barn is open, I can get extra blankets and heaters out there. It's the least I can do, just let me help."
He stopped and grumbled a little, clearly irritated. He turned and looked at his crew. Some were visibly shivering, while others had their hands in their pockets, arms tightly tucked into their bodies, pretending not to be cold, but their captain knew his crew and sighed.
"Fine," he turned and faced you, "You can put the boys up in your barn until we get things figured out. But if they give you trouble, and they might, you come an' get me." He turned toward the man who had spoken up earlier, the scrawnier looking human-like man. "Go with them, make sure they don't destroy the place."
The man nodded and turned toward the crew. "Cap'in says we're stayin' in the Terran's barn until our ship is fixed up." He called out. And with a jerk of his head, they followed him, and he followed you.
As you walked across the field, you looked up at him. "Forgive me if this is rude, but.. Are you human?" you asked.
He shook his head. "Xandarian. We share a common ancestor with you Terrans, so we look mighty similar, but we're different."
Another awkward minute of silent walking before you introduced yourself. If you were hosting them, they might as well know your name.
He nodded. "I'm Kraglin, Cap'in's first mate. Behind me is Brahl, Horuz, Tullk, Retch, Gef.." He trailed off, realizing there were too many crewmembers. "Uh.. Well they'll introduce themselves when ya meet 'em." He was quiet for a moment before he spoke up again. "Cap'in won't say it, but thank you.. For lettin' us stay in your barn."
You nodded. "I couldn't let you guys stay outside, it's below freezing. A human wouldn't make it out here.. By the way, what's the name of your captain? That scary blue guy."
"Yondu Udonta. He's the captain of our faction, and Stakar is the captain of his own faction."
Finally you got to the barn, and yanked at the doors, pulling them open, watching as aliens rushed to get inside and out of the snow.
You turned back toward Kraglin, crossing your arms over your chest to try and warm up a little. "What caused you guys to crash here anyway?"
He exhaled and leaned against the door. "We was fightin' with the Kree. The Cap'in doesn't have good history with them, so when he sees their ships, he gets a little impulsive- you ain't heard that from me by the way." You nodded, and he continued.
"They cut us off, and he started chasin', and shootin'. It got so bad that Stakar came an' told him to stop, that he was gon' start somethin'. Then the Kree shot back and nearly took out our ship, and that's when Stakar got involved, cuz he don't like anyone messin' with Yondu. We eventually shot their ship down, but ours didn't turn out much better."
That's when you remembered them fighting. Everyone evacuated, and Yondu made sure Stakar and his crew got out safely, and then they started fighting. It reminded you of you and your family a little bit.
"Come on, I've got some blankets and heaters in my house, can you help me carry them?" You asked, walking toward the house. You heard him jog to catch up and follow you, taking that as a yes.
You came back out with two space heaters and ten blankets, some pulled from your own bed. It wasn't nearly enough, but some people were able to begrudgingly share, and others crowded around the heaters and just sat together. Some were nice enough to thank you, but most either nodded or just grunted.
"Don't take it personally," Kraglin had said, "Ravagers ain't exactly the nicest of people. We're pirates."
Great, you thought, I'm hosting space alien pirates in my barn.
You nodded to him as he headed over toward a stall meant for a horse but hadn't been used and was left empty. Turning to leave, you nearly ran into Yondu, who caught you by shoulders before you did.
"Oh, I'm sorry-" You started but he just let go and walked around you, joining his crew. It felt a little rude, but it was understandable, he was stressed about his ship.
As you walked back toward the house, you saw Stakar, Krugarr, and a very angry looking woman. You may not have known what Krugarr was, but you were sure he was cold blooded. He had to be, right?
"Hey, uh, there's some extra room in the house. I have the heat on, and there's a guest room, if you three would prefer to sleep inside instead of out in the barn." you offered.
The woman started to decline, but Stakar spoke faster, "That would be wonderful, thank you." He ignored the smack she delivered to his chest, and walked inside with her. As scary and as harsh as she was with Stakar, she did thank you on her way in, so you assumed maybe she just hadn't wanted to intrude.
She and Stakar got the guest room together, making you think they were together, and you set up Krugarr in the livingroom couch with a blanket. He may not have had a mouth, but you could see it in his eyes that he seemed to smile a little and was grateful.
You headed back to your room, finally and sat down on the bed, ready to get back to sleep.. When it hit you that you just impulsively let maybe forty dangerous, possibly armed, alien pirate strangers stay with you, and three of them were inside your house.
You hadn't even thought about it, you just let them in, trying to help. You didn't know them, where they were from, their intentions, anything. Sure they seemed nice, but didn't most murders when people talked about them on the news?
You got up and clicked the lock on the door shut before sitting back down. You were sure that wasn't enough to stop them, but if their intention was to rob you, maybe it would be safer to stay put in your room while they did their thing..
You checked the clock propped up on your dresser.. 5:35 am.
Maybe just an hour of sleep wouldn't hurt. They all seemed equally as exhausted anyway, maybe they wouldn't bother you.
So you laid back down, pulled the comforter up, and fell back asleep, trying not to think about the people in your house or in the barn.

Keepin' yer safe and warm
Due to an unexpected stopover, the Ravagers have to set up a camp on a unhabitated planet. And while everyone has laid down to rest, little Peter is shivering in the cold of the night and Yondu, sitting nearby, eventually hears the small Terran.
"What's up with ya, boy?"
A gruff voice called from nearby and Peter shifted his head, shivering and rubbing his shoulders. He looked up to the Centaurian with a sad expression, biting his lip in despair.
"I-i'm cold..."
The child had crossed his arms, in an attempt to warm himself, which didn't help much, though.
Yondu grumbled and let out a humorless laugh.
"Ain't my fault, I told ya to dress warm."
Sensitive Terrans...
Ignoring the child, he turned around again. Not his problem if the boy freezes his ass off. Serves him just right. This stupid brat didn't want to listen and that's what he gets now.
The Ravager grunted, closed his eyes again and tried to ignore the boy's chattering teeth and helpless whimpers in the cold. He waited to fall asleep again. Though, he had to admit that it was kinda chilly tonight, even for him.
Almost dangerously cold, especially for little Terrans - in fact, the boy only wore his thin leather jacket that barely contributed any warmth. Maybe he could...
Nah, he's gonna be fine. Don't care. Ravagers don't give a damn 'bout stupid Terrans.
Yondu still heard Peter shivering desperately under his breath, kinda glad that he at least made any noise by this cold. Admittedly, he had this uneasy gnawing in his chest, whenever he didn't hear any more noises from the kid but relaxed again as he was still breathing.
Great. Now he couldn't even sleep because of the brat.
The Centaurian turned around to the boy who by now had huddled to a bundle, pulled his legs close to his little trembling body. Rolling his eyes in annoyance, the man left out a reluctant grunt.
"C'mere."
Peter immediately turned too, raising his head. The boy stared at him with a glazed sight, surprise written all over his face. He didn't need to be told twice and scrambled over to the man.
"Hurry up, before I'm changin' my mind, boy!"
The Ravager held up his arm, pulling the shivering child under his coat to warm him up. Peter snuggled up to his side, his lips of bluish color, cheeks burning red from the cold.
"And if ye tell anyone 'bout this, I'm gonna kill ya myself an' eat'cha then, got it, boy?!" He hissed down to the kid.
Peter already made himself comfortable and eventually stopped shivering, mumbling into Yondu's coat.
"Mhm..."
And he will deny it later on, say that he just couldn't stand the noise, boy was gonna damage his chompers from all the clatterin'.
Couldn't have let his best little thief freeze t'death, he'd be stupid if he did, now did he?
Hell, he couldn't care less. But when the little Terran lay that close to his body, cradled in big strong arms and buried his face in the warm chest, even the Ravager allowed himself to put his guard down.
There was a feeling in his chest, which he ignored. And he put his hand on the boy's shoulder, just so his coat isn't slipping off and the kid won't start annoying him again. No other reason for that.
And by the stars, Yondu will never ever admit it - even in the afterlife - but he held the boy a little closer that night, making sure he is secured from the cold weather, keeping him safe and warm.

My progress in watching “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2” has been full of pauses-mostly due to the fact I’m simultaneously trying to learn deeply about the film along with brainstorming ideas for a fanfic I’ve been hinting for some time. After experiencing multiple “jumps” through space, an unusual “ability” has been gained. While it isn’t related entirely to “possession”, his mind suddenly “links” to any being he has a strong bond with.

Is it me, or does anyone else wanna see a movie of just the Ravengers? Like look at Martinex! My little twinkle toes looks stunning! I wanna know how the ravengers act towards each other and how Stakar, Martinex, Mainframe, Krugar and Gamora act to each other. Is Gamora Stakars new adopted child?
Tumblr media
I mean look at them😫❤️
Krugarr and Mainframe look adorable and they seem to care a lot about her. I thought Ravengers weren’t into that sentimental stuff unless that was just a Yondu thing (rejecting affection). Did they hug and card about Yondu the same way they are treating Gamora? I need to know please 🙏

Summary: What if the light had stayed with Meredith? This work is the first part in a series that answers that question. It reverses the timeline of the movies; Ego is dealt with in this work, and Ronan in the next. I always thought it was a little lame that Meredith's function in the movies (and comics, actually) is just to give birth to Peter and then die. I think Peter would agree; his mother was more than that. This is a fic to illuminate what might have happened if Meredith Quill had followed her son to space. If you like handyman badass secretly-cinnamon-roll Kraglin, emotional sassy mothering Meredith, grumbly badass angst-covering Yondu, and peppy pickpocket rambunctious Peter, then this fic is for you. Meredith Quill, Mother of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Peter’s grandfather. Pete crush on Gamora. Has a bit of lilo and stitch. Peter quill’s Walkman . Family members start to notice that the character's spending a lot of time in their room, acting rather snippy about people going in there, stashing food, and apparently talking to themselves.(and aprently trees and raccoons) the Walkman was from Peter’s mother. Yondu and Kraglin are at first hired to find and bring back rocket and groot, while Thanos sends his goons to retrieve his “daughters” Lilo and stitch came in 2001. Peter’s element guns. Becoming concerned about Peter’s new habits, his grandfather decides to have Peter talk to a child therapist, who believes Peter made up his new “friends” as a way to cope with the loss of his mother. After discovering the kid’s friendship, as the true nature of the high evolutionary, yondu and kraglin decide to help Peter and his alien friends rather than capture them. Yondu and Kraglin find themselves unexpectedly attached to the unlikely group, especially after witnessing the camaraderie and loyalty the young boy shares with his extraterrestrial companions.
As Peter's bond with the aliens deepens, he starts to learn more about their pasts and the reasons why none of them want to return to their original worlds. Gamora and Nebula confide in him about their struggles with Thanos, sharing the emotional toll of their upbringing. Meanwhile, Rocket and Groot reveal their desire for freedom and adventure, away from the High Evolutionary's grasp.
Peter’s grandfather, still concerned but also intrigued by his grandson's resilience and happiness, starts joining him in his room. Although skeptical at first, he begins to notice unexplainable phenomena – moving shadows in the corner of his eye, small objects being misplaced, and strange sounds echoing through the house. These small clues eventually lead him to believe in the existence of Peter's friends, making him determined to protect his grandson and his new family from the looming threats.
In an ultimate showdown, Peter’s loyalty and courage inspire his alien friends to face their fears and fight back against their pursuers. Yondu and Kraglin, now fully on their side, work out a plan to thwart both Thanos’s goons and the High Evolutionary, using Peter’s resourcefulness and his element guns.
In the process, Peter realizes the depth of his feelings for Gamora, and while it's just an innocent crush, it solidifies the bond among them all. With their adversaries thwarted for the time being, Peter's home becomes a sanctuary where every member feels valued and accepted, laying the groundwork for their collective journey through the stars.
The unexpected blend of beings from different worlds helps Peter cope with his mother's loss, transforming his grief into strength, and he decides to keep his mother's memory alive by playing her favorite songs on his Walkman whenever they head out on a new adventure. Together, Peter and his newfound family embark on a cosmic journey that will forever shape their destinies.

Part 5:
Yondu took her back to his quarters and got her into his shower, letting her shower in peace he set to arranging his room to accommodate both of them. Tonight, he wasn’t letting Y/N out of his sight he was afraid that if he were to leave her by herself, she would focus far too much on the negative things about them as a couple that were intent on creeping into her mind. At least if he were there to hold her through the night, she wouldn’t be alone with just her thoughts.
He knocked on the door that led to the shower and told her that he would be right back he was running over to her quarters for a moment to grab her sleep clothes and a change of clothes for her in the morning. She tried to argue with him, but he was gone as quick as he had appeared. By the time she was finished and drying off Yondu returned and shyly handed off her pajamas that she insisted on wearing even though Yondu insisted that they weren’t lady like. Yondu grumbled the entire time Y/N dressed, but once she stepped out of his bathroom he stopped in an instant. In awe of simplistic beauty.
Y/N tucked a strand of wet hair behind her ear, starting to turn a light shade of pink, again, under Yondu’s gaze. She wasn’t used to such attention. Back home she was always too plain or too boring or something along those lines for the guys back home. Yondu’s enamored stare was still a new concept for her. She watched the blue man before her questioningly pondering his intentions in her mind. He had never been this insistent on her staying with him before. She didn’t fear him, but this was a new thing for him and between them.
Yondu, again, could sense the apprehension coming off her Y/N’s body. To sooth her concerns he gave her a gentle smile before speaking to calm her, “It’s alright, Darlin’. Only thing that’s goin’ to happen in here t’night is sleeping. No funny business, I promise. I just want ta make sure that mind of your’s don’t go getting’ to ya and messin’ up what we got goin’ here. I want nothin’ but your company t’night, Darlin.”
Nodding Y/N agreed that staying with her captain tonight would probably be for the best because she sure did have a lot wandering through her mind that could have potentially done damage to their budding relationship. She knew what her mind did all too well and this was the one thing that she didn’t want it to mess up.
She whispered a soft, “Okay Captain.” And moved closer to him, reaching out a hand hoping for him to take it. Which he did and gently pulled her into his arms, kissing her gently on her forehead hoping the innocent gesture would calm her evident nerves. It did. She rested her head on his chest and smiled against it.
Yondu pulled her back from him again offering that same harmless inviting smile as he spoke to her, “Now Darlin’ you gonna be okay with me sleeping shirtless? I know you ain’t quite ready for me sleepin’ in da buff…” He gave Y/N a wink as he finished speaking and looked her in the eyes waiting on his answer.
Y/N offer him a shy smile in return and nodded in response, “That’s fine Cap. You know I don’t mind seeing you shirtless. It’s quite an impressive sight in my opinion.” She offered him a wink of her own and a mischievous little grin and let go of her Captain.
Yondu felt saddened by the loss of contact with her and smiled and gave her a gentle and playful swat across her bottom, “Alright Darlin’, git on dat bed and git yourself comfortable. I’m goin’ to get myself ready fir bed and I’ll be right out.”
Y/N squeaked in surprise at the swat and nodded again listening to Yondu and situated herself on one side of the bed making sure to leave more than enough room for him. This was going to be a new experience for her as she had been an only child without many close friends and have never shared a bed with anyone before let alone a romantic interest. She had never actually slept with anyone else in the room much less with someone next to her in the bed.
As she was lost in these thoughts and fussing with the little bit of the covers, she had allowed herself to take Yondu had stepped out of the bathroom and watched her for a moment in complete silence, smiling to himself. While he wasn’t going to actually “have” his woman, he still had her in his bed for the night and in his opinion this way was far more intimate than if he were to have sex with her. He definitely wanted that at some point with her but tonight was all about holding her tight though the night and, hopefully, calming any and all concerns that her mind could throw at her. They had been so close to that point earlier much like other times that week only to be interrupted, again. It was always something on that ship it seems that fortunately the only ones that have caught him and Y/N in his quarters together were Peter and Tullk. Neither of them would end up telling anyone on the ship. Thankfully.
Neither Y/N nor Yondu was prepared for the almost guaranteed crap fest that would come from the rest of the crew finding out about their relationship. They both knew there would be at least a fight if not a full-blown riot from the rest of Yondu’s Ravager crew. Yondu didn’t want that on his hands just yet and he knew for certain his woman wasn’t ready for all of that chaos. He knew his crew would think him soft and that Y/N was trying to sleep her way to first mate despite being one of the only ones on the ship that was willing to do every bit of maintenance and cleaning and what not that none of the other will do. Yondu had talked many times with Y/N over the year plus that Y/N had been with him and his crew about the first mates’ position on the ship and she has flat out refused it every time it came up. She was perfectly content with her ‘generic run of the mill grunt’ position. He knew she was happy with the minimal preferential treatment she was given. The separate quarters from the rest of the crew and things like that.
All these things passed through Yondu’s mind as he walked from the bathroom to his bed and laid down on his back lifting his left arm inviting the timid Y/N to curl into his side and lay her head in his chest. Reassuring her that it was alright and that she was safe. Telling her that he wasn’t sure of the exact name of this on Terra, but he called it ‘Snugglin’ which as she was inching away from the wall she had been hugging and closer to him she let out a light giggle telling him that was essentially what they called it there too.
As he was lowering his arm around Y/N he felt her tentatively reach her arm across his abdomen and lightly place her hand on his chest as he softly assured her that it was okay, she rested her head on his chest and was asleep in moments.
But the sleep was short lived as she shifted away from him only a couple hours later and jumped awake momentarily forgetting why she wasn’t in her bed, waking Yondu with her sudden gasp.
Yondu jumped ready to protect both Y/N and himself only to realize there was no tangible threat in the room when he discovered her sitting up trying to stop the slight tremble she had woken up with. He immediately started trying to sooth Y/N telling her she was alright and that she was safe. He gently wrapped an arm around her to try to stop her trembling. This seemed to sooth her well enough as he murmured soothing words in her ears, he felt a shaky hand on his upper thigh and could just about feel Y/N turning bright red at her own brazen actions and in a soft voice he heard her whisper his name…
To Be Continued…

Hi everyone...I have been doing some re-reading of some older fics I haven't picked up in a while, and I noticed something alarming. Does anyone know where @loveisyondublue is?? I found them on AO3...but they seem to have vanished from Tumblr and her fics have been altered on AO3. Literally every ounce of smut is gone. Wiped. I mean not that I read the Vital Series for the smut....the story is the best part - it just struck me as odd. Anybody know anything on that? I was rather shocked.

It's so annoying how it's virtually impossible to find any platonic fics... They're harder to write, I know that, but I want something to read!
My ask box is open if someone finds something and feels like sharing (no angst though, please)

8 & T - Yondu X daughter reader ❤️
Thanks for the prompt! 8. Snow down back of neck T. Tickling [Send me a prompt and I'll write a drabble]
***
"Zip up your jacket." Yondu scolded you flatly as he locked up the ship.
You ignored him and continued chattering about the winter festival that would be happening in the nearby town the next day and how excited you were to see the lights. "I read that the trees look like mini nebulas they're so bright!"
Yondu had decided to take the crew on the rare vacation that wasn't on Contraxia. Currently most of his men were in the town drinking it up and the two of you were heading to join Kraglin and Peter by an out-of-the-way ice-fishing hole that Yondu was familiar with. He had sent them ahead to set up while he and you stayed back to repair your collapse-able fishing rod.
Yondu knew the repair would have actually only needed maybe five minutes to complete, but hey, it got him out of having to saw holes in the frozen lake and he knew you wouldn't complain either.
Now the two of you were on your way to join them, following the tracks they had left in the snow.
"Eh- probably exaggerated to bring in tourists," Yondu said, responding to your earlier comment about the lights.
"Can't you let yourself be excited for once?" you half-whine, half-tease.
Yondu glanced at you with a grin. "Nope."
You playfully punch him in the arm.
He returned your playful punch, and told you again to zip up your jacket.
Again you ignored him, a mischievous grin forming on your lips as you allowed yourself to fall behind in your pace just long enough to quickly grab some snow from the ground before recovering your pace to rejoin him at his side.
You turn the subject towards a job you knew was coming up after this vacation would be over, asking about the planet it was to be set on. This, of course, was just a means of distraction before you enacted your mischief. Nothing big. Just a little snow down his back... heck, you could probably blame one of the trees overhead for it.
Yondu starts to answer, and you think you're in the clear to pull off your prank, but the second you go to raise your arm he reaches out and grabs your wrist, making your hand open on instinct and drop its snow.
He turns to you with an eye roll and a smirk, still holding your wrist. "Did you really think I wouldn't notice? You gotta be sneakier than that, kid."
It takes a second for the shock to wear off, but once you recover you return his smirk with one of your own. "Or have a good backup plan!" and with that you swung your other hand up over his shoulder and shoved the other handful of snow you had grabbed down the back of his coat, sure that you possibly even made some of it go down into the back of his shirt.
Yondu's eyes widened and he recoiled as soon as the cold hit his skin, immediately releasing your wrist so he could reach back and attempt to fish out any un-melted snow- though of course that was a lost cause.
In the meantime you just stood there, laughing your ass off.
After a moment Yondu turns back toward you and narrows his eyes. "Betcha thought that was real funny, didn't ya? Real proud of yerself, ain't ya?"
Still giggling, you nod. However, your giggling slows once you notice the look on his face.
He steps towards you and just glares at you for a moment. By now you had stopped giggling and started to wonder how many toilets he was gonna make you clean back on the Eclector for your little stunt.
The silence hung for a good couple moments before Yondu spoke. Eyeing you, a playful smirk played on his features as he asked, "Thought I told you to zip up your jacket?"
You only just had time to look down before Yondu lunged for you, his hands quickly flying past your open jacket, latching onto your ribs, and sending you into hysteric laughter as you tried to fight him off.
You squealed out a "No! No fair!" as he continued to tickle the snot out of you.
"I think it's more than fair, missy!" he laughed. "You ignored me twice about zipping up your jacket, and then you shoved snow down my back! Far as I'm concerned that's three strikes against ya right there! If anything I'd say I'm going soft on ya!" with that he moved his hands up to tickle under your arms, which practically made you scream as it was one of your worst spots.
"Sorry! I'm sorry!" you squeal out, grabbing his wrists, but unable to push him off you.
"Yeah, bet you're really sorry. Sorry that you got caught, and sorry that you didn't zip up your jacket when I told you too!" he laughed.
Through your hard belly laughter you manage, "I give! I give up! I'm sorry!"
"Ya gonna do it again?"
"No!"
Yondu finally released you. "That's what I thought. Now get your jacket zipped, it's cold out here."
Still giggly, you finally obey his command and zip up your coat. "That was so mean!" you whine, punching him in the arm again.
"Yeah, you deserved it, brat." He answered with a smile and pulled you into a side hug and ruffled your hair. "You're lucky I didn't decide to bury you in the snow and leave ya there."
You simply stick out your tongue in response, and after he playfully shoved you in the shoulder in response to that, the two of you continue on your way to meet the others at the fishing hole.
