Yoko Miyoshi holds a photobook of “Yohko (Yoko)” in front of Masahisa Fukase’s photographs at Akio Nagasawa gallery in Ginza, 2023.

Yoko Miyoshi met a Japanese photographer Masahisa Fukase in 1963 and got married to him in 1964. She became a model for his photography book "Yoko," which was published in 1978.

They divorced in 1976, but Yoko and Fukase stayed in an intimate relationship afterward. She was devoted to looking after him as he became ill in 1992, and remained close to him until his death in 2012.

Huevember 2023 Day 10

Experimented with color mixing/hue shifting instead of strictly sticking to the colors I picked out for the palette. Also tried to be mindful about choosing shadow colors based on the same ambient lighting. I think it turned out pretty good.

i think maisie peters is, to me, the only songwriter who can balance quirky, silly lyrics that sound very gen z with actual good songwriting. usually when i hear a song that incorporates current slang/jokes/whatever i feel like becomes borderline unlistenable after like a year because the moment the song was written in has passed but smth about the way she approaches it.... ive never once had an issue with it somehow. she's a very solid songwriter but honestly this skill of hers impresses me more than her ability to write gorgeous poetry does lol
