You can't contain your happiness anymore, you feel that you might burst out crying. [H/c] locks of hair were flying around your head as you took a sprint towards a certain hospital room. "Yu!" You halted at the opened door, merely tumbling because of inertia. "[Name]?" The black-haired male turned his attention to you. You flashed him a cheeky grin while trying to breathe properly. "It looks like [Nickname]-chan is here to watch over you now" Shinoa stood up from the chair she's been sitting on then proceeded to the door. "Have fun you two!" The lavender-haired female took one last look at the two of you before hopping away from the room. "S-Shinoa!" You yelled, face flushed red because of embarrassment.

You looked at Yu and noticed that he's been staring at you. "Yu... I'm happy you're okay" You made your way to the chair near his bed and took a sit. "Yeah, sorry for worrying you" He nodded his head slightly then looked down. "It's fine. I'm just really glad that you're fine" You smiled, reassuring him. "[Name]...?" The raven-haired called, looking at you. "Yes?" You tilted your head with eyes closed, awaiting his statement. Instead of a statement, you felt that Yu was near your face. "W-what are you doing, Y-Yu?" Your face turned pink when his hand touched your neck. "The vampire got you too, huh?" You stated while touching the part where the vampire had bit you back then. "Y-yes..." You replied, a bit embarrassed and flustered. He pulled back his hand and then looked at the ceiling. "Oh, right! This is for you" You pulled a small silver heart-shaped locket from your pants' pocket. "What is this?" He asked as he accepted the gift. "That's a locket, haven't you seen a locket before?" You asked, he just shook his head. "What's inside this heart?" He asked then opened the locket. You smiled while watching his actions. Inside the locket was a carving of his name, as well as Mika's, Yu's family. He read the carvings as his eyes got watery. "I wanted to give you something that you might like. And I plan to give another for Mika-san" You told him while looking down, a smile gracing your lips while you placed your hands on your lap.

Suddenly, the raven-haired boy grabbed your wrist and pulled you to him, much to your surprise. "Y-Yu?! W-w-what are you doing?" You stammered while resting your chin on his shoulder. Your body was embraced in his arms while you sat on his lap. "Y-Yu, t-this is embarrassing. What if the others will arrive?" You told him with your face flushing red. When you didn't hear him reply, you turned your head a bit to see his black hair. "Thank you" He whispered. "Huh?" You didn't quite hear what he just said. "Thank you [Name], for everything" He repeated, you just smiled and then placed a hand on his head. "You're welcome" You replied while rubbing his head gently. He pulled you away then looked deep into your eyes, you felt yourself burning under his gaze. "Y-Yu..." You turned away from him, your heart beating fast. "Hey, idiot Yu! I thought--" A certain blonde stopped at the door frame when her voice dropped. Your [E/c] orbs stared at Mitsuba who just had a shocked expression, you sweat-dropped while staring at her. "Yu! What are you doing to [Name]?!" She stomped in with her hand forming a fist, vein popping from her forehead as she glared hard at the male. "M-Mitsuba! You got it all wrong!" Yu tried to defend himself as he waved his hands in front in a dismissive manner. When she neared the bed the two of you were in, you were suddenly lifted off his lap. It was your twin brother, Shiho. "Hey stupid Yu, are you trying to harass my sister?" Shiho's voice is filled with venom as he asks the raven head who is about to get beaten by Mitsuba. "N-n-no! It's just a misunderstanding! I swear!" Yu pleads for his life as he suffers under Mitsuba's hard glare. Your brother placed you down as Yoichi and Shinoa came inside the room. "Oh~? What happened here? Did you enjoy, [Nickname]-chan?" Shinoa teased while placing her hands on your shoulders. "Haha, Shinoa. You're really getting on my nerves" You faked a laugh then shot her a glare. "Scary~" She pulled away from you and sat on the couch, and you followed suit. You sit there while watching Yu and your brother fight again, Yoichi is in the middle, trying to calm the two, and Mitsuba is still scolding Yu who doesn't even care.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Yūichirō is nice enough, arguably the most welcoming as he ushers you into their circle, their 'family's as he calls it. He always insisted you call him Yū from the second you met. It's kind of nice.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 He's very reassuring, though he's a tad hard-headed and quick to rush into things. He means well enough, and you know that at the first sign of danger he'd save your life in a heartbeat.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 He has this way of managing to get you in every conversation, making sure you feel included and he asks your opinion on things and will ask you to back him up. You can shake your head and laugh about it, but it's always endearing.

₊˚⊹꒷ shinoa hīragi

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Shinoa is easily one of your favourite source's of entertainment between her subtle sass and sarcastic quips, she manages to brighten the mood even in the midst of war, but she's always on her toes in combat. She has your back, you know she does, and you trust her with your life.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 She might need to work on boundaries though, because sometimes she oversteps and takes things a little too far. The one thing she won't overstep on is her family, you've asked her and she doesn't have much to say, she danced around the room a little and told you she was 'basically a princess'. You sensed she didn't really want to talk about it.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Shinoa is somewhat teasing toward you but your can usually tell it's all in good fun no matter what she says, but you've also learned never to tease her back about her height.

₊˚⊹꒷ yoichi saotome

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Yoichi is one of the kindest people you know, though he comes off as being a little soft sometimes. He tries his hardest and you can respect that.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 He's always checking up on you, more so when you first came to the squad, always wanting to know how you were doing and if you were ok. It was nice to feel like someone really cared about you in this new squad.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 He's always quick to back Yū's family ideals and think of it the same way, and in enough time you realised that Also meant there were lengths he would go to for you that went beyond the others. At first it was a bit terrifying, but it became comforting once you really thought about it.

₊˚⊹꒷ mitsuba sangū

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Mitsuba's way of caring takes a bit to get used to, keeping you in line and watching your every move like a hawk to catch you out. With enough convincing you accept that this is her way if protecting you from yourself.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 She does warm up, and you manage to become good friends. Following the rules is her way of keeping you safe, there's a protocol for everything and wanting you to follow that to the letter is just an attempt to keep you alive. Doing your best to please her and follow your orders is your way of giving back.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 She has her moments, a certain kind of vulnerability that she lets show. All of her insecurities and her dreams are right there laid out before you, even if those aren't things she thinks she can achieve, it feels nice to have someone trust you to hear their secrets.

₊˚⊹꒷ shiho kimizuki

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Kimizuki is easily one of the sternest people you know, but his way of logic does not outweigh the care he has for each and every member of the squad. That now includes you.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 It initially surprised you he was something of a homebody, or at least would've been with how well he can cook an clean up after himself, that's what you concluded at least. Sometimes he cooks for you, assuming you're not out in the field and everyone else is struggling not to burn the food. Sometimes he tries to teach you, and some attempts are more successful than others.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 His ability to put up with Yū as he would see it is admirable, and he also encourages you not to listen to the things he says. You're no exception either as he tends to scold you. A thing of endearment? You're not sure yet. You'll figure it out eventually.

₊˚⊹꒷ makoto narumi

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 Narumi is somehow stricter than Mitsuba and can rival Kimizuki, though that's not to say they're the same. You felt horrible to learn about his squad, but unlike Mitsuba he didn't allow himself to be vulnerable toward you.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 But he does look out for you in all aspects, as with everyone in the squad. He does things you may not necessarily like, but he doesn't those things to keep you safe. They're things other people don't want to do, but he'll do them for the sake of the others.

⊹ ִֶָ𓂅 You're not sure what he was like before the deaths of his friends but now he seems more careful than ever. He's someone you can easily feel safe around. He's tight on regulations and has told you to your face that if you can't follow orders he can't say the same for you. It's a good motivator.

Still not over the fact that people actually want this

There’s this idea that’s been floating inside my mind for months now and I am extremely tempted to turn this into a full blown series of sorts. It’s related to the latest chapters of Seraph of the End and they somehow get transported into our world and then they meet you, the reader, by sheer accident. You freak out because of course you do and when you try telling them that they’re fictional characters it all backfires on you because whenever you try looking up their names on the Internet there is no information about them whatsoever… You are the only one in this world who knows who they are which could cause trouble. OnS Upcoming Theories!

Hello everyone! I hope you’ve been doing well, and yes, I disappeared for quite a while, I apologize for that first of all...to be fair, I wasn’t expecting to take a break but at the end, I felt like I needed one due to some issues going around but well, they’re alright in some sort of way.

Sypnosis: A budding friendship happens when a poor boy is saved from bullies.

You can't stand bullies today, they always boast that they are part of the Moon Demon Company and order others just to make friends with them. You heard that they are bullying a new student in your school, Second Shibuya High School. His name is Yoichi Saotome.

"Hey, Shinoa..." You called on the lavender-haired girl who was standing beside you. "Hm...? What is it, [Name]-chan?" She asked, arms behind her back. You closed your locker before looking directly at her. "Why does the student have to claim to be part of the Moon Demon Army just to receive praise?" You asked, somewhat irritated by the bullies in the school.

"Hm...? Now you said it..." Shinoa placed her index finger on her chin, looking up to the ceiling to think. "There's one right there!" She pointed behind you, a smile gracing her lips. You turn back to see what you are searching for. There he is, Yoichi Saotome. The male who always got bullied by Satoshi Yamanaka and his gang.

"P-please stop," A brunette male said. "Huh? Stop? I'm just asking you to go buy something for me, cuz we're friends!" Satoshi replied. You were enraged by this. Satoshi pushed him back and he fell on his rear, your eyes widened in shock but then hardened.

From the moment you saw the helpless male, you wanted to help him. "It seems [Name]-chan wants to help him. Go help him!" Shinoa pushed you forward, and you glared at her who just gave a very annoying smile. You sighed to yourself and decided to get things done.

"Hey..." You went to them. Yoichi, Satoshi, and his gang looked at your pissed expression. "Huh? What do you want?" Satoshi asked you in a mocking tone, nearing his face to yours, while you didn't care a bit. "Why are you bullying him?" You dead-panned.

"Bully? Hahaha!" He laughed, and his two companions followed. "He wants to be friends with us, right?" Satoshi placed his shoe on the poor male's head. Your heart thumped hard at his actions. Yoichi just accepted his fate to be bullied. "Then work for it, like a livestock"

That one made you enraged. You didn't hesitate to punch Satoshi in his face, releasing his feet off Yoichi. "W-Wha!" He touched his wounded cheeks and then glared at you, but yours is so hard and deadly that he might want to run for his life.

"I see... So you claimed to be part of the Moon Demon Company just to bully others, eh?" You continue to glare at them. "But I hope you would know, I am originally a special private of the so-called vampire extermination" You got out your miniature cursed gear from your skirt's pocket and then revealed it to them.

"S-Satoshi! S-she's [Name] [Surname], the number one vampire exterminator. W-we will be dead if you anger her!" One of his companions told the info to the brunette, and the three of them were shaking in fear. "Oh? So you knew me, huh? I must be famous then" You gave them a smirk.

"R-run!" Satoshi shouted as they stumbled to get away from you. Once they were out of sight, you sighed and then looked at the male. "I hope they won't bully you again" You smiled at Yoichi and then held out your hand to him. "Thanks" He looked away while blushing, pulling himself up.

"You're Yoichi Saotome, right?" You asked him. "Y-yes!" He replied, standing up straight. "And... You're [Name] [Surname]-san?" He muttered, looking away from you with sweat appearing on his face. "Yes I am. You don't need to add honorifics in my name, and please don't be scared" You chuckled at his politeness.

"Y-yes!" He once again stuttered in his response. "Say, why do they bully you so badly?" You asked him. He finally looked at you and then looked down. "Actually, Yamanaka-kun told me that if I became his friend, he would let me in the Moon Demon Company" He explained, "That's because I failed the test"

Now you understand the situation. "You know...." You placed your hand on his shoulder, and he looked at you. "I can get you in the Moon Demon Company" You smiled brightly with closed eyes. "Really?" His face brightened up, and you only nodded.

"Thank you very much!" He suddenly captured you in his arms, forcing you into a hug. You blushed instantly at this, and when he finally realized what he had done, he released you at once. "S-sorry, [Surname]-san..." The brunette bowed down in apology, with a blush creeping on his face.

"That's fine, we're friends, after all," You titled your head to the side then gave him another closed-eye smile. "Uh-huh!" He agreed.

And starting on that fateful day, your friendship with Yoichi grew. He finally got into the Moon Demon Company because of you, and he also befriended Shinoa, Yuichiro, Shiho, and Mitsuba. And really is thankful that he met you on that day.

     It was a beautiful day. Not too hot, not too cold. The only disturbance in the air was a peaceful breeze that gently ruffled the leaves on the trees. The sun produced just the right amount of light, beaming through the gaps in the clouds.

     Those clouds were the focus of your attention, as well as Yoichi’s. You laid in the grass besides the small brunette, watching the clouds as they drifted across the sky, forming various shapes and silhouettes. 

     Yoichi pointed at a small, fluffy cloud. “That one looks like a dog.” He moved his finger to the left, now looking at a bigger, wispy cloud. “And that one is a peacock.”

     You studied the other clouds for a minutes, trying to imagine pictures in their formations. Finally, after a long moment of silence, you pointed at a tall, skinny one.

     “That one looks like Kimizuki,” you announces proudly, and Yoichi laughed. He looked at the cloud in question, trying to see your friend in its constantly shifting shape.

     “No, I think it looks a giraffe,” he eventually stated.

     “Same thing,” you replied, causing your friend to burst into laughter again. You giggled quietly with him, unable to contain your happiness around the sweet boy.

     You laid beside Yoichi all afternoon, talking about anything and everything, and just content to be in each other’s presence. Occasionally, one of you would point out a picture in the clouds above, sometimes causing an argument between the two of you over what you each believed it resembled most.

     Eventually, the sun began to set, and you knew you couldn’t stay there with him much longer. A quiet sigh escaped your lips. Yoichi heard it, and he looked over at you with a small frown.

     “What’s wrong?” he asked you.

     “Nothing, you replied, pushing up into a sitting position. I just wish we could stay here longer, that’s all.”

     Yoichi sat up beside you and nodded. “I had fun today.”

     You were both reluctant to leave, though, so you sat there a few more moments, watching the sun set.

     “I love sunsets,” you gushed. “They’re just so pretty.”

     Yoichi turned his head away from you shyly, and murmured, “Not as pretty as you.” His cheeks turned bright red, and so did yours.

     His words gave you a burst of confidence, though. You impulsively reached over and took his hand in yours. His bright green eyes widened in awestruck surprise as he looked first at your intertwined hands, and then up at your blushing face. You gazed back at him, a small smile curling your lips.

     Yoichi smiled back at you, that precious smile of his, before saying, “We should probably go back now.”

     You sighed again, but nodded your head in agreement “By now, Shinoa will already have thought up a thousand possibilities for what took us so long.” You imagined a few of her more likely guesses, and found your face getting hot once again. 

     Yoichi stood, pulling you up after him. Your hand remained locked in his grasp, and you held his tightly as well. Together, you walked back, smiling, and never once letting go of Yoichi’s hand.
