Ways to use Yogurt in Indian recipe
Tumblr media
When is yogurt good for you?
1.Yogurt consumption may or may not be a healthy choice, depending on who is drinking it and what sort.
2.Yogurt contains significant amounts of protein, calcium, vitamins, living cultures, and probiotics, which can enhance the gut flora.
3.These might safeguard teeth, bones, and the digestive system.
4.Low-fat yogurt can be a useful source of protein when trying to reduce weight.
5.Probiotics may help to boost the immune system.
Types of Yogurts
1.Traditional Yogurt
By adding microorganisms to milk, yogurt is made and thickened, giving it its well-known tart flavor. In order to stop curds from developing, milk is heated. The mixture is then chilled before adding bacterial culture. Probiotics, which are live, active microorganisms found in most yogurt, support gut and intestinal health.
2. Greek Yogurt
This is strained to eliminate the liquid and whey after the yogurt base has been made, giving it a thicker consistency than regular yogurt. Greek yogurt is a well-liked alternative to sauces used in savory foods because of its potent sour flavor. (Did you know that ricotta cheese consists of the liquid and whey extracted from Greek yogurt?)
3. Australian Yogurt
Australian yogurt is unstrained, just like regular yogurt. Greek yogurt is thicker than standard yogurt but has a creamier texture. Since it is cooked more slowly and for a longer period of time than regular yogurt.
4. French Yogurt
Instead of being created in a large vat and then divided into containers, French-style yogurt is cultured in the individual-sized containers it is served in. It is much like conventional yogurt, but it is less sweet than other yogurts and has a smooth, creamy texture.
5. Skyr/Icelandic Yogurt
Greek yogurt is notably thinner and less tart than Icelandic yogurt, or Skyr.  It may be claimed that it is cheese because of the way the process causes curds to form. Skyr is promoted as Icelandic yogurt in the United States because, whatever it is properly called, it is eaten like yogurt. Skyr is one of the thickest yogurts on the market since it has been strained four times.
Indian Recipes With Yogurt Or Curd
1. Low-Fat Dahi Chicken
The dahi chicken recipe is flavorful and low in fat. Furthermore, it’s easy to make. Chicken pieces can be simply marinated in a curd marinade and left to rest for around 30 minutes. Once you add your onions and tomatoes, you can fry them in masala.
2. Dahi Aloo
This gravy side dish pairs beautifully with plain chapatis or hot, steaming rice. The dinner, which includes curd-cooked potatoes, is simple, quick, and delicious. On those leisurely days, you may prepare this meal in about 20 minutes.
3. Dahi Bhindi
It is a well-known Hyderabadi dish. Curd can be helpful while making dahi bhindi, a straightforward and speedy curry preparation that has a smooth and creamy texture. When you eat this sabzi, the spicy curd (dahi) gravy absorbs into it, making it juicy.
4. Kadai Paneer
This delicious and delectable dish is not only simple to prepare but also a favorite of paneer lovers. You can quickly prepare this dahi kadai paneer when you have visitors over because it only takes 30 minutes to prepare.
5. Chicken Yoghurt Curry
This is a recipe that all chicken fans will like devouring with roti or chawal and will taste fantastic. However the dahi in it adds a calming taste to the dish’s robust masala flavor. Chutney is an additional option that you have with it.

Just saw the most rancid food take on pinterest so, here's your reminder that adding foods to other foods, even if those foods are calorie-dense and highly processed, doesn't negate the benefits of the food they're paired with. This is especially true if you wouldn't eat the nutrient dense foods without the other ones.

YogurtXYakultNutrition
We are all aware that yakult and yogurt are beneficial to our health, in addition to being delicious and addictive. Let us compare who has the most advantages
Due to its nutritional richness and potential health advantages, yogurt is typically considered healthful. Reasons why:
Probiotics: Live microorganisms in yogurt can boost your health. Maintaining a healthy gut bacteria balance with probiotics can improve digestion, enhance the immune system, and avoid some diseases.
Calcium: Bones and teeth need calcium, which yogurt provides. Osteoporosis, a bone disease, can be prevented by getting enough calcium.
Protein: Protein helps build tissues, maintain muscular mass, and regulate hormones. Yogurt is ideal for sportsmen and bodybuilders.
Nutrient-dense: Yogurt has many nutrients for few calories. One serving of yogurt contains calcium, protein, vitamin B12, and other minerals.
Yogurt may boost gut health and reduce inflammation, according to studies. Yogurt may contain gut-healthy bacteria and other chemicals.
Yogurt is generally nutritious. Whenever possible, buy plain, unsweetened yogurt because many flavored types are heavy in added sugars.
Why Yakult is healthy:
Probiotics: Yakult is strong in probiotics, helpful bacteria that can promote intestinal health. Probiotic Lactobacillus casei Shirota can survive the stomach's acidity and reach the intestines, where it can promote health.
Digestive health: Yakult promotes gut bacteria growth, which improves digestion, immunological function, and inflammation. Yakult may relieve constipation, bloating, and diarrhea.
Yakult has 50 calories per bottle. It's good for calorie-watchers.
Yakult has vitamin D, calcium, and magnesium. These nutrients support bone, immunological, and general health.
Yakult is easy to drink and requires no preparation, making it a practical option to add probiotics to your diet.
Yakult can be part of a balanced diet, especially for digestive health. Yakult contains added sugar, thus it should be used in moderation as part of a healthy diet.
Advantages:
Probiotics: Probiotics, helpful bacteria, are abundant in yogurt. This aids digestion and immunity.
Calcium: Bones and teeth need calcium, which yogurt provides. Yogurt prevents osteoporosis and other bone problems.
Protein: Muscles need protein, which yogurt provides. As a snack, it can also keep you full.
Yogurt contains vitamin B12, phosphate, and potassium. These nutrients improve health and lower chronic illness risk.
Disadvantages:
Lactose intolerance: Some people cannot digest lactose, a milk sugar. Yogurt can cause bloating, gas, and diarrhea.
Added sugars: Many yogurts contain added sugars, which can cause weight gain, dental damage, and other health issues. Choose plain or low-sugar yogurt.
Fat content: Flavored or added yogurt can be high in fat. Excess consumption might cause weight gain and other health issues.
Yogurt proteins may cause allergies in some persons. Hives, itching, and breathing problems can result.
Pros:
Probiotics: Probiotics, helpful bacteria, are abundant in Yakult. This aids digestion and immunity.
Digestive health: Yakult relieves bloating, constipation, and diarrhea. It also reduces inflammatory bowel disease and other digestive problems.
Convenient: Yakult's tiny bottles make probiotics portable.
Yakult has few calories, making it a good choice for dieters.
Cons:
Yakult has added sugars, which can cause weight gain, dental decay, and other health issues. With Yakult, watch your sugar intake.
Lactose intolerance: Yakult contains milk.
SO WHO HAS MORE BENEFITS?
Yakult is more expensive than other probiotics, making it unaffordable for some.
Yakult's probiotic strain is limited. Some may gain less from this.
Probiotics in yogurt and Yakult promote health. However, some distinctions may make one better for some people.
Yakult contains Lactobacillus casei Shirota, while yogurt has many probiotic strains. Due to its bacterial variety, yogurt may offer more benefits. Protein and calcium, which develop strong bones and muscles, are also greater in yogurt.
Yakult, on the other hand, delivers a set dose of probiotics with each bottle, making it easy to take. It may also work better for bloating and constipation.
Yogurt or Yakult relies on personal taste and health. Choose items with low added sugars and high beneficial bacteria for a healthy diet.
Both of them can be seen or bought anywhere in convience store and supermarket. Yakult cost 10 pesos per piece and for the yogurt 30 pesos per piece.

Revealing Yogurt’s Probiotic Wonders
Tumblr media
Looking to boost the health of your gut? Yogurt is a delectable and creamy superfood packed with probiotic goodness. This article discusses yogurt's hidden health benefits and how eating it can improve your overall health.
What is yogurt, and how is it made? Yogurt, a fermented milk product, has been enjoyed for millennia. It is made by adding starter cultures—specific bacterial strains—to milk. Lactic acid is formed when bacteria in milk ferment lactose. This fermentation process gives yogurt its distinctive tart flavor and smooth smoothness.
Yogurt can be made with a range of milks, including goat and cow milk, as well as plant-based replacements such as soy or almond milk. The type of milk used may alter the yogurt's flavor and nutritional makeup.
