1. Donation Based Yoga at Stretch
Every Friday join Stretch, a modrern, hip, new yoga studio located in East Austin, for donation based yoga classes all day! Experience a variety of vinyasa flow classes, each ending with guided meditation. Talk about an amazing way to wrap up the work-week and head into the weekend!
Classes offered:
7am - Stretch: mild to moderate flow, with resting poses - might sweat it out.
8:30am – Deep Stretch: mild to moderate meditative flow.
Noon -Stretch: perfect for a early afternoon pick me up.
6pm – Power Stretch: more intense flow with a focus on strength and movement.
When: All day every Friday!
Location: Stretch Studio - 1621 E. 6th Street, Suite 1113, Austin, TX - located in the retail spaces at The Arnold.
Parking: Metered street; 6pm-midnight
Cost: Free: Donation-based; give what you can to their awesome instructors!
Members can sign-up to reserve a spot
Non-members can walk in, but arrive early as space is limited.

2. Yoga With Adriene at Blanton Museum
Join Adriene Mishler from Yoga with Adriene for a free community yoga class in the gorgeous atrium at Blanton Museum in downtown Austin.There is something very magical about practicing yoga in such a stunning place! Not to mention that you get to enjoy your practice with others in the community!
When: Thursday, April 20th - 12:00pm-1:00pm

Beginner friendly class! All levels are welcome and no experience is needed.
Yoga mats are provided, but I recommend bringing your own.
Get there early as the atrium fills up quickly!

3. YOGA at Euphoria Festival
Euphoria is a festival that brings music, art, camping and yoga together over a weekend filled with inspiration and enjoyment. This year Euphoria is partnering with Sanctuary Yoga which is a nonprofit yoga studio in Austin that benefits the Amala Foundation. During the festival they will be offering daily yoga classes for attendess and campers. Morning classes are exclusively for our campers and afternoon classes will be open to all festival attendees.
When: Thursday, April 6th - Sunday, April 9th; morning and afternoon yoga classes.
Location: Carson Creek Ranch, Euphoria festival
Parking: Festival parking lot
Cost: Free for all campers and festival attendees!

4. Yoga in the park With Austin yoga meetup
Looking for a place to practice yoga where everyone is welcome and free to be your authentic selves? Look no further because that is Austin Yoga Meetup's mission! Sydney Ring and Keely Rizzato are the community organizers of Austin Yoga Meetup, an organization that brings the community together through yoga offering free yoga every month at a park or donated studio space.
In honor of two years of free comunity yoga, Austin Yoga Meetup is hosting a free outdoor Hatha Yoga class led by Jonathan Troen near Barton Springs. This event will be benefitting the local Planned Parenthood with an optional fundraiser.
When: Saturday, April 29th - 12pm
Location: Under the large Pecan Tree east of Barton Springs off of Robert E Lee.
Parking: Park on Robert E. Lee Street
Cost: Free! With an optional fundraiser raffle following the class.

5. Yoga Anatomy Workshop with Leslie Kaminoff
Join yoga educator, Leslie Kaminoff for a weekend filled with yoga workshops focused on the power of yoga through the lens of anatomy. This event is hosted at Yoga Yoga, a studio founded in Austin, Texas, in 1997 by Mehtab and Guru Karam, a husband and wife who believed that, “Yoga is the journey. Practice is the path.”
Leslie is the founder of The Breathing Project, a New York City based educational non-profit dedicated to teaching individualized, breath-centered yoga. He is the co-author, with Amy Matthews, of the best-selling book “Yoga Anatomy.”

The "Yoga Anatomy" book by Mr. Kaminoff, has helped shape the way I teach and has deepend my understanding of yoga and healing through yoga. I can only imagine that this workshop will be an incredible experience.

6. Blissful Beats + Sunset Rooftop Yoga with Stretch
