night time routines!!!!! gah. i usually take meds, scroll on phone, pass out. i try to do my lotion all over too every night (its hempz vanilla lux and its like one of the only earthly goods i let myself splurge on regularly) and if im doing it of course he wants in too. instead of meds he probably packs a lil bowl before for us to smoke while we watch tv before we sleep <3 i’ve mentioned x files is my our favorite and we tend to cycle through that n maybe a couple animes…….we’re both bad at sleeping so i don’t think we usually have an issue settling into a routine but every once in a blue moon i can pass out as soon as my head hits the pillow and he’ll put on some rain sounds and play with my hair or smth. but almost always meds, lotion, weed, tv and cuddle, snooze. tv includes phone time in which we send each other things instead of just tilting our screens to show each other. avg sleep time……..probably like…………2:37am approximately..

ill start with my appearance: im 4’11 in height that is a bit on the thicker side but not too much. i do play a lot of volleyball (i do training for it! + im the libero) so i have pretty toned muscles esp on my legs. i think id describe my body as pear-shaped yeye and then as for facial features: everyhting is quite round for my facial features! round cheeks, round eyes, button nose, etc etc yeah however i have pretty chapped lips T-T when im doing nothing with my hands, rhey just automatically go up to pick at my lips which makes it worse haha so im vry guilty for that ;; for hair, i have short black hair (just under my shoulder kind of length) with a himecut style fringe? for my bangs sometimes i do wispy bangs and sometimes i do a side part with it swept to the sides of my face so its pretty flexible. just depends on how i want my hair to look on that day + i usually put the rest of my hair up using my claw clip ^-^ i just think it looks cool cuz since my hair is short, it looks spiky at the back when i put it up and creates an interesting shape :D

clothing? i usually wear baggy clothing! i prefer wearing something loose for my top and then something a little tighter on my waist/hip area to create form. though sometimes when i feel like it i can wear a tight top with loose bottom + something i noticed in my wardrobe is that my clothes are mostly earthy colors (brown, sage green, creme) and then white&black. i just dont like very flashy, eye-catching colors it seems lul. my hard no’s in clothing are …sleeveless (im a little insecure of my arms :c), baggy top/baggy bottoms and then vice versa with tight top/tight bottoms. i take my appearance very seriously and wld always want to look fashionable when outside :) other things related to appearance: i love gold jewelry. rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, heck even anklets; i love em all! always appreciate being gifted jewelry to add to my collection >o< i also have a few pairs of glasses but not for eyesight problems, they’re anti-rad that doubles as accessories LOL yes i wear glasses for the aesthetic shhh they look so nice. + i also love makeup <3 nothing too crazy like bold colors or super thick makeup but just enough to make u feel bonita yaknow :3c

and then finally starting another paragraph for my personality: im ngl idk how to describe my personality …id say that im a bit of a chameleon socially? altering certain mannerisms and quirks depending on the person im with. however with certain people (which is like only 2 ppl lol) im very close with, u could say that my true self shines a lot more :) i notice that when im comfortable with someone i become very air-headed? like… i feel like i trust them so much that i dont have to think that much which leads to me mixing up my words, forgetting things, etc HAHAH but with normal people, i try to appear more on the nonchalant side. i like to appear collected & gentle (?) and less extroverted & loud and i think that leads people into thinking im very mature (lots of people come to me for advice) ^^” and i guess i just have that grandma-ish aura to me? like very down to earth, chill, laidback, etc etc …cuz one of my friends told me that they feel like they can tell me anything and trust that i wont tell it to orher people and thats so nice yk! i rlly strive to be a trustworthy and good person as much as i can 🤍 but that doesn’t mean that i have no flaws: im very secretive. the way i present myself makes it feel like im an open book but look closely and youll notice that i tell little to nothing about my actual self. i find it hard to properly express my emotions in an appropriate way and that has led me into some tough spots specifically with my family. idk, i just have a hard time with expressing “emotions” tho i feel neutral/empty most of the time (hence why i take on a laidback persona w people cuz thats the closest to being neutral). its really only people im really really close to that i become that loud, goofy, air-headed, fun person <3

as for my morals/values: i value personal space a lot. i personally dont like it when people try to push me into answering personal questions, it kinda makes me feel icky yk? like i just feel disrespected when people do that to me. youll learn those things once i deem u trustworthy, patience. however, personal space as in physically? i do not mind at all! im a very touchy person with people im comfortable with (hugs, holding hands, etc i love physical touch) and i love it even more when they hug me back<3 so no problem there. i value education a lot so i take like a bit of time everyday tk study and do my work :0 and then friends come second! i value connection a lot w the people around me and fully believe that humans are social animals

thank u for the ask!! and thank u for reading i’m so glad you like it <3 i’ve actually thought abt this quite a bit!! the thing with collabs, is that either i could use an irl celebrity, or i could make a character a celebrity and make them work with nico—so here are my thoughts on both options:

1) a real celebrity - i try to stay away from involving real life people in the fic, as in interactions, because i don’t know any of those people irl and i would hate to, like, mischaracterize someone or write positively abt someone who eventually gets revealed to be like a shitty person, yk? the most i’ve ever done, i think, is that one time i mentioned nico taking a picture with lorde - but even then, it wasn’t him talking abt her, it was just a picture that was posted. that, and the absurd amount of taylor swift name drops that i have, which i will never stop😭

basically, though i have considered it (my mind is literally CONSTANTLY imagine collabs of nico and other celebs/other songs), i literally have a playlist of them, i don’t think i would ever include it in the fic. simply bc of the concerns mentioned above :/

(however, i would like everyone to know that ive been imagining nico as a surprise guest on the rep tour, and having him featured on rep tv, for like- literally as long as ive had this au in my head. ill never write him collating with taylor (bc again idk i just feel strange writing abt real ppl) but in my head, it’s canon)

2) creating a new celeb - this one is hard, pretty much bc i’m… out of characters.

like, i still HAVE characters to use, but i already have plans for most of them and a majority of them aren’t actually part of the music industry. i could justify a collab between alex and nico bc she’s like the only music person i have written, but i also don’t wanna force that

if i ever do, which i doubt, bc i don’t have any plans to at the moment, it’ll be a pjo character, i just don’t have any idea of who that would be :/

oh and! last reason why i’m hesitant to add a collab - i feel like nico writing music is so engrained with him working with apollo as a producer, and their studio dynamic. obviously, it’s good to step out of your comfort zone, but i think that it’s also some sense of caution and comfort between them, that they’re the same people who will work on every nico di angelo song and album.

either way, i have seven albums outlined in total. the time span of greatest of luxuries goes from 2018-2024. that may be subject to change, but im feeling pretty confident abt it (it used to be 2028 btw😭) and anything PAST that time range is completely up to the reader!! i have lots of ideas of what could happen beyond that seventh album, and i have an idea (and a playlist) of the eighth album, but i can definitely imagine a lot of features in the future as he branches out. (and also him on rep tv. or ttpd. will update when ttpd comes out if i think there’s a specific song he’d slay as a feature on)

and lastly, for features. yes. he is on the hunger games tbosas soundtrack bc i say so‼️

okay first of all thank u for coming to me with this, i have Opinions, second of all im fairly new to dc and have much to read yet so everyone feel free to add more, and third this is my personal opinion so all other recs are incredibly valid, anyway LETS GO

ofc, if u wanna know who damian is, you gotta read morrisons run on batman, he basically created damian and i respect him immensely as a writer, it starts in batman and son (2006), and here u can learn why damian loves dick grayson so much which is important to me

next! tomasis run which is literally perfect, he wrote robin son of batman (2016) where u get to see damian trying to mend what he did as a child and i genuinely will never be over it, like i genuinely cannot recommend this one enough, then he wrote superman (2016) where damian meets jon, and supersons (2017) which we all know and love where the kids just have fun and save the world and if u want a good series to get into and have fun, this is the one

now comes the more difficult part, damians writting after jon grows up is... weird and inconsistent and writers dont really know who they want him to be so ill do my best to recommend things i liked

the teen titans (2016) series isnt too well liked but the first part i think is solid enough

the end of the second part, plus the batman vs robin storyline and robin (2021) are... i try not to think about them, specially since some people really liked the last one and i just cannot deal with it, the last thing to come out is the lazarus island arc and wow was it not good

unrelated to these, theres a multiple comic event called robin war and... i really liked it, i genuinely really enjoyed it, he gets put in his place so hard by duke that he has to befriend him, plus he has some of the best appearances in nightwing (2016) where dick reminds him hes loved

to close this all up, hes basically one of the main characters in the dc animated universe that started around 2015 so if ur up for some films i had a lot of fun with them!

and then mind manipulation which is the ability to manipulate people's senses (sight, taste, sense of smell, hearing etc etc) which is why the 'blurry faces' option (this option is less on the nose I was just trying to be creative while also somehow making them connect lol) and why the doctors/scientists were 'seeming to fight something you cant see' aka it was all in their head

(if you're curious: they were seeing what the MC was seeing in this instance, and since they didn't know what was going on, they flipped lol)

and then my personal favorite and probably the most unique: illusionist, (the smoke option) and it's the ability to create illusions using one's essence (essentially their soul) and it translates into smoke so for ex your MC can create figures and images and use the smoke defensively (im trying to think of a good example in media since I know theres something similar somewhere but I cant for the life of me remember the name, and I was partly inspired by the night circus, if anyone has read it haha), HEAR ME OUT it'll seem much better on page when the MC actually starts training so im actually very excited to write this power shhsjshsh

the abilities and how vague they are seem to be reoccurring so ill def rework that and make it clearer. ill also likely add more since theres a few abilities I actually want to add, I just need to make sure they make sense narratively since there's a specific reason why I chose these abilities <3

probably my least favorite member of the team for a semi good reason:

the jokes towards trish are really really uncomfy and how fugo doesnt wanna be involved but he is pushing him to do something that makes him uncomfortable did not make me like him a lot

hes goofy but not goofy enough for me to be ok with the repeated jokes about that esp in the body swap episode (ik it was supposed to be funny but it just felt off)

his vibes r good but i wish we got to see his hair

the fandom interpretation is normally pretty good of him overall?

despite not loving him a lot, i really enjoying writing for him (one day might open up headcanon requests or smth but unsure)

hes someone id wanna watch movies w but his taste in movies and mine r very different

love how he and his stand get along

honestly has very very good comedic potential

i really like how he and giorno interact as the series goes on (in a platonic way i need to clarify that i love their friendship)

again him in purple haze feedback was really interesting

As for ideas? Idk they generally come really randomly for me,, (and I’m also lacking motivation rn so I just stare at my drafts for 20 minutes before closing them 💔) But I have a Pinterest board of prompts for when Im really stuck, so I’d suggest just having a search through Pinterest or a writing prompt hashtag and see if you think of any character when you read them! Another good idea is song fics! I like matching up a story or character to lyrics yk?

Or, if you want to do Headcanons or something, choose one of your favourites and start with some dating hcs or a soft drabble (cuddling, birthdays, date night drabbles etc), start somewhere simple and build up when you think of the ideas!

jesse was born may 11th, 1998 to a parents he knows never should have had him. his parents had first moved to new york city from busan, south korea and already couldn’t afford to make ends met when jesse came along and was another mouth to feed, and they never let him forget how much his existence had put a burden on the already-struggling family.

together jesse’s parents always ran one of the most poorly organized money laundering schemes that jesse has still ever seen, which was only worsened by his father’s habit of spending whatever cash the family had on liquor while his mother spent most of her time trying to gamble it back. 

three years later after the  “ family business ”  fell through in flushing, his parents packed up whatever their lives consisted of and moved across the country to seattle to start the same scheme all over again, and jesse’s little sister was born shortly afterwards 

while the two were growing up, they were practically in separable. jesse wanted to make sure her life could be more than just being the brunt of their parent’s problems as their father’s drinking worsened and their mother would disappear for days at a time dealing with him

when he was a teenager, jesse started dealing drugs to try to get any more stable income for him and his sister than what his parents provided and then routinely wasted away, and this quickly progressed to him selling more and more and falling in with the wrong people lmao

the more jesse got involved with that life, the less time he spent with his sister. never had good grades to begin with, now when he wasn’t dealing, he was running deliveries to larger distributors just to for the check. in the meantime, all he could hope was that the money he was getting to put food on the table was doing more for his sister than being there with her could.

but any protecting jesse tried to have done completely backfired. his sister wasn’t oblivious to what jesse was doing, and he could only keep her at a distance from that side of his life for so long, but what he thought was only weed and the occasional adderall or xanax went much further.

his sister died of a drug overdose a little over a year ago, and there hasn’t been a day since that jesse hasn’t blamed himself. he’s tried everything he can to change and get away from the life that he led and that took his sister.

he moved to the building to try to start over, staying in the cheapest studio while he works at a music shop and picks up gigs primarily as a drummer as much as he can to try to pay to maybe one day start college. and while he only goes through more and more cigs everyday, he’s managed to mostly stay away from drugs  ( or at least, selling them )  altogether

okay this boi is kinda an emo mess rn and is only half decent at hiding that fact  ( im sorry if hes just like .. sulking wherever he goes but he’s secretly just a softie who doesn’t like how vulnerable he feels lmao )

he’s kinda noctural at times, and goes up to the roof a lot of the time to have a cig and make sense of his thoughts 

most of the time he’s actually super empathetic and thoughtful, but catch him on a rare day where he’s especially off and he can be brash and easily butt heads with people for no reason which .. he knows he needs to work on and always feels really apologetic afterwards 

jesse absolutely adores music, and it’s prob the only thing that’s helped him get through the last year. he used to be equally drawn to the guitar as he was to the drums, but for some reason guitar doesn’t feel the same as it used to right now and the drums are honestly just a better way to get out that Saddness and Frustration ™

listen i wanna say that he’s a former fuckboi but rly .. he’s just slowed down a little bit because he kinda just wants to avoid any emotional intimacy and complexity like the plague rn

... he hasn’t cut his hair since his sister died. he hasn’t really given any thought to it at all, but jesse really needs a wakeup call that yk .. haircuts exist for a reason
