*24 Reasons Why I Like You - Good Omens Event - Day 3 - Your Eyes Don't Lie*

Setting: Takes place in Aziraphale's bookshop after Crowley saves his books from the bomb in the church.

"Let me see."

"No."

"Crowley..."

"I said no Angel."

"Crowley I'm not trying fighting with you, if you sa ..."

"Just let it go Angel.."

"I want to help..."

There was a pregnant pause that thankfully only lasted as long as Crowley's faith in the Almighty to do the right thing.

"Fine. Just be quick about it."

"Crowley I don't wish to push you, I'm sorr..."

"It's fine Angel, I just don't like being mollycoddle, it's all."

"Mollyc... is that what I'm doing?" Aziraphale teased lighting the mood.

Despite himself, Crowley couldn't help but to smirk as he flicked his glasses off with one fluid motion of his wrist, securing them into his jacket.

Aziraphale automaticly sucked in a breath, alluring as always, the bright yellow flashing him hello and harsh unspoken accusations all at the same time. He felt stupid for being taken back. The sun was bright, the grass was green, the sky was blue, and Crowley's eyes held all the sercrets of stars. Simple facts, that after 6000 years, he should find at the very least monotonous, yet here he was...

Aziraphale hoped he recovered fast enough, knowing how Crowley was sensitive about them and prone to assuming the worst.

Azirphlaple however, he didn't get much time to gauge Crowley's reaction to his own - overwhelming concern flooding his chest like a sharp red hot knife to a human heart.

Crowley's eyes never lied.

They were a thicken goldenrod with no visible human sclera, and the normally curious pupils were almost gone, only thin black lines staring at him, telling him all he needed to know :

Crowley was injured.

"Crowley, please...."

"Awfully invasive today, Angel..."

However, Crowley seemed merciful today on his angst and removed his boots without another word(so to speak). With a snap of his fingers, the dirt leather boot scaled back (quiet literally) to revealing very human looking feet with patches of black glossy scales and angry pink soles, thankfully no blisters.

"Don't look so melancholy, Angel, they'll heal."

Aziraphale just sighed, snapping his own fingers in response to incorporate a tiny glass jar in his hand.

"It's called alo vera, humans use to soothe burns..." he explained.

"And you think that will help... " Crowley spoke with the same body language and tone that time in Roman when he had told him that was aardvark (or something along those lines) all those years ago.

"Well yes, you see I've been experimenting...." Aziraphale voice tapered off with nervousness.

A slight gleamer of light returned to Crowley's eyes upon his words, which Aziraphale rewarded with a scowl.

"A long story, but yes, it works."

Yellow eyes revealed a vulnerability to him, Crowley sighed, laying back on the couch, his injuried feet directed towards him.

"Is it okay if I..."

"On with it Angel..." Crowley's voice was rough.

That was all the encouragement he needed. With all the care in the world, Aziraphale stepped forward, unscrewing the lid and applying the balm to the bottoms of Crowley's feet. Painfully careful not to put any more pressure than absolutly nessicary all while keeping it a soothing even layer. The punisher of damming silence consumed them.

What should have been a connecting moment between them seemed so clinical. Crowley looked at him with readable expression, still raw and vulnerable as ever. If Aziraphale didn't know any better, it was almost like he wanted to ask for something more but was holding back.

Aziraphale felt the same, but he had no idea what it was both of them were searching for.

Moments like this had happened quite often over the 6000 years they had known each other yet Aziraphale had no way to fix the situation. It was madding!

With a sad look drawing his face, Aziraphale finished putting the jar away and applying gauze banage just as carefully as before. After he was finished, Crowley reluctantly withdrew his feet, covering himself with his own coat.

Aziraphale tised miracling him a soft blanket, which Crowley grumbled in response, covering himself with it on top of his coat, turning away from him, curling in towards himself.

"If it's quite alright with you, Angel, I think I'll sleep here tonight so we don't have a repeat of 1827 in the cemetery, yeah?"

"Of course." Aziraphale was soft yet harsh, miracling a chair next to Crowley on the love set.

"Stay as long as you need."

They were quiet after that.

From Aziraphale to Crowley:

Crowley is amazed by Aziraphale's incredible surprise and doesn't know how to react. He has tears in his eyes and says to himself ‘What the fuck, Angel?!’

From Crowley to Aziraphale:

Crowley surprised Aziraphale with a picnic on the top of a beautiful, high green mountain where they can see the fields, villages and towns below. Something Aziraphale has always wanted to do.

Hi guys! I really apologise for posting so late again! Please note: it's not even midnight, which means I'm still on schedule! 😬 I got the prompt wrong today and started thinking about the prompt for the 14th instead of the 4th. As it happens, I already have the post done for the 14th, because I only realised I was doing it wrong a few minutes ago. So I quickly wrote a text for this day. It's a poem of Crowley's thoughts, I hope you like it!

Crowley's thoughts:

Music has a curious peculiarity. It makes you think about things. Visualise things. Experience things!

In every song, I can see a part of you. Even if it's insignificantly tiny, You're there.

You're not perfect, Nor do you have to be! That's precisely what makes you beautiful, Infinite.

You have in you a little bit of everything in the Universe You are marvellous, Harmonious, Unique. An indescribable symphony that no creature would be able to interpret. I find it difficult to do so myself.

I look for you in every song; In all of them I find you.

* 24 Reasons Why I Like You - Good Omens Event - Day 2 - My Favorite Plans Are The Ones We Make Together*

Perhaps one of Aziraphale favorite things was the unspoken plans Crowley and himself made after their 'official plans'. Though when the thought was spoken outloud, he knew it made no sense.

But he supossed like the best things in this earthly realm it didn't have to. Far from a fair comparison, but the taste of crepes, his oldest books and his favorite hot tea crept into his mind - all humanly byproducts of course, that by all accounts should be mundane to an Angel or heaven entity. Yet despite all of heavens presumption of what comfort and goodness should be, he found they gave him an untouchable and indescribable solace.

Much (more) like now, with his current 'unplanned' plans with Crowley.

Meetings to exchange information like two comical spies in some over the top picture film about the going on in heaven and hell was the obligatory catalyst. Followed by a quiet evening in the book shop (reading a 'sleeping' demon a book on morality - score 1 for heaven), dinner at new place they hadn't tried before (falling for temptation - score 1 for hell), setting on the roof top explaining the stars and the people below (score 1 for heaven, 1 for hell) , or even a slow walk down a busy street or park - camouflaged from people around (who was keeping score?). But they would always find themselves in some form 'exciting mischief' that even out in the end, just as intended.

These were "plans" Aziraphale looked forward to making.

Origin of the event:

Dear Good Omens fandom, this event was created from an idea that came to me as soon as I found a box of chocolates for sale that contained 24 chocolates, each chocolate had an affectionate phrase.

I assumed it was to be eaten one a day, probably to be given away at the beginning of December.

I thought it was so cool that I decided to write down all the phrases and use them as prompts to draw pictures.

(I didn't get round to doing any, though.)

A few months later I thought ‘Wouldn't it be amazing if I created an event with this?’.

That's what happened and now you'll have the privilege of taking part or seeing the results of those who do!

For the event I had to translate all the phrases into English.

The originals are in European Portuguese.

*24 Reasons Why I Like You - Good Omens Event - Day 1 - Your Laugh Is Contagious*

Probably one of Crowley's best kept secrets was that there was a lot of overlap between his current corporal form and his former serpent one. His hearing at the forefront of his mind - was lacking and a thorn in his side, as he watched his counterpart chatter away, pausing and tasting his own food in an almost unanglelike manner between bites, a welcomed sight and another sercert Crowley willingly kept. It was a pestering struggle to hear, though Crowley hoped he hid it well. A contrast to watching his lips, clinging to the form of every word. A multitude of emotions alway consuming him for his own meal, that ranged from misplaced envoy (he knew after all these years) to awe as he gazed at him. But what really put him in a trance-like comfort was the Angel's laugh. Even the false chuckle allotted to him, followed by "Oh Crowley." as Aziraphale would lightheartedly humor him in whatever was the topic of conversation. It was a balm he didn't even know he needed until it reached his ears. The vibrations turning everything that was ugly and wrong into a light breath if only for a second.
