I genuinely cried bc of these things that jm have to go through all from the debut days but especially after what he faced with his debut album, but today its on whole another level, like good for y'all jkkrs and army but as a jm solo who never dragged other members and even streamed some songs for them, this is heartbreaking but one thing I don't understand is why y'all shade rapline especially yg for Jimin's short and disturbed promo time but not jk for immediately flying to the US with bangpd after jm's BB hit 100 #1 and recorded something and posed for 'history in the making' photos with bangpd and scooter braun, is it just because y'all think he's jm's boyfriend or is there something else that supports this favouritism like it's clear that jm's sabotaged by the company because they want jk to be the one to be the breakout star of BTS but jm disrupted by topping the hot 100 and not to support yg when they know that yg is in no way competition with jm as they released in different genres and they're both different in their popularity levels. Lastly I'm not against your beleifs about their relationship or anything I just don't understand not holding up jk to the standards y'all hold up other members when it comes to the sabotage situation of jm because the one who's going to benefit the most from it is going to be jk, so just a genuine doubt..

I genuinely cried too. After every single sabotage. The most heartbreaking thing to see was that false biggest free fall. I weren’t able to get over everything that happened and I won’t be able to.

I didn’t shade rapline, I said it’s only company’s fault, not any member’s fault. I don’t want other members to get sabotaged or to get less promotion so it would be fair. It just shouldn’t be about priviliges. Everyone should get proper promotion. The unfair thing is that JM was robbed and we can’t turn back time, so it will stay like this.

I didn’t understand how Yoongi could get 100+ days of promotion while Jimin got only 9. Since their albums happened to overlap, they could promote both at the same time. Moreover after JM made history. Normal company celebrates huge success of their artists.

I believe in that company are people who can’t stand to see Jimin’s success and they are jealous of his achievements. They were mad after he was No1 for sure.

And to answer your question about JK. JK is my 2nd bias since the beginning, I loved him before I even thought they are in a relationship and his songs are my 2nd favourite, so I’m happy for his success and I’m excited for his album. It’s not his fault company wants him to be their star.

And if JK gets radio? I will be happy for him, but it will be extremely unfair towards Jimin, so at the same time it will make me very sad.

At the end of the day I only hope JM will be even more successful despite everything and every person who wants to put him down, so they all can be even more jealous. He deserves the best in life. There aren’t a lot of people like him.

Yes. If I believe in afterlife, then how can't I believe in heaven and hell?

Mungkin kadarnya masih belum penuh-penuh amat, but I do believe in akhirat. Untuk orang-orang terutama anak kecil yang mati di negara berperang, atau mengalami krisis malnutrition, gw yakin Allah yg penuh rahmat dan rahim pasti menjaga mereka sekarang dan di akhirat dikasih kebahagiaan. Gw mah awalnya mikir kasian ya, masih balita udah ditembak, ditinggalin, tertimpa puing-puing gitu. Then akhirat is the only answer when I think life must be unfair to them.

And I'm actually still questioning whether heaven and hell sehitam putih itu, atau memang ada hak Allah yg manusia gatau soal gimana sih sistem keduanya. Ini mah gw nya aja kali ya yg harus lebih rajin baca dan cari tau. Yang pasti I don't really (want to) hear human yang dikit-dikit bilang ntar masuk neraka loh kalo ngelakuin A, ato dikit-dikit nyuruh ibadah B biar masuk surga. Alih-alih bikin tergerak, gw malah jadi males sorry to say. Malesnya karena, oke itu mungkin emang tujuan akhir beribadah gitu biar mashuk syurga. Tapi buat gw, pendekatan ke hati itu lebih kena. Pemahaman, penerimaan, sampe akhirnya bisa sabar dan ikhlas ngelakuinnya, itu yg bisa bikin gw terus tergerak. Bukan dengan promosi masuk surga atau ancaman masuk neraka.

Why are rain frogs so round? What's /inside/ of them around such an itty bitty skeleton?

So it turns out this is a really interesting question.

The first thing we must be aware of is that rainfrogs as we see them in videos of them squeaking are not quite the same shape as they are when at rest:

But you are quite right, they are very round. This is exemplified by the skeletal photo you refer to:

So what are we seeing?

Well, firstly, note that the body cavity in these frogs actually envelops the femurs, such that only the tibiofibula (fused in frogs) and the tarsals and metatarsals are outside the body. The arms are quite similarly enveloped, but a bit of the humerus does extend outside the body cavity too. This predisposes them to a rounder body shape.

Next, note the ilia - the U-shaped bone in the pelvic region. These in some breviceptid frogs are synostotically fused with the sacrum - that is to say, they are bound by bone-based connections to the bow-shaped vertebra at their tips. This whole joint seems to be quite smooth, and as a consequence, the back of the frog is quite smooth. The other thing we can see here is that the urostyle (i.e. the frog version of a coccyx) juts quite far beyond the ischium and pubis. This extends the body cavity beyond the hips. Note also that the pelvic girdle seems to be largely below the spine, rather than the typical position for frogs behind it and continuous with it. This makes the legs sit below the spine, rather than at its end, enhnacing the vertical roundness of the animal.

Next, let’s talk some soft tissue. Now, I’m not as familiar with soft-tissue in frogs as I am their skeletons, so you’ll have to bear with me a bit (rawr). Beddard (1908!!) studied the soft tissue of Breviceps verrucosus Rapp 1842. It seems that the majority of the body of these frogs is actually muscle. Beddard noted that muscles join the leg at the knee that extend into the body cavity, such that the inclusion of the thigh in the body cavity is further accentuated by musculature. The rectus abdominalis muscle is unusually large, extending from the lower abdomen up and around the sides of the body. Indeed, this large size appears to be the pattern with all of the major muscles, though in the throat the typical arrangement of large and small muscles is somewhat reversed. On the lateral side of the head, there is a substance that is not muscle, but appears to be loose tissue in which sits what is apparently the thymus gland.

There is a very large gap between the end of the urostyle and the anus (one fifth of the total length of the frog), in which there are almost no muscles, save for the one surrounding the lower cloaca. On either side of this area, between the posterior-most muscles of the thigh, lie two large ‘lymph-hearts’, as described by Beddard. These are between one quarter and one third of the total length of the frog. A further lypmh-sac sits between these lymph-hearts and the skin of the femoral region, and they are thus probably analogous to the femoral lymph-sacs of other frogs.

I find it interesting that Beddard (1908) did not mention any glandular formations in the dorsal region. As is evidence from many images (see below), these frogs are able to secrete a white, sticky, noxious substance from their skin (which they actually have to use during amplexus, as the male is too small relative to the female to mount her properly, and so he sticks himself to her with his glandular glue… kinky).

These glands do not apparently take up a great deal of the cutaneous tissue, and so I suppose are of no consequence to the size of the frog, especially relative to its enormous muscles.

The diet of these frogs consists almost exclusively of hymenopterans and isopterans (ants and termites). Neither of these insect groups are particularly fatty, so it is little surprise that their bodies appear to contain no large fat deposits - fatty bodies extend from the gonads up to the lungs and heart, but these comprise only a tiny fraction of the frog’s mass, and don’t contribute to the round shape. Instead, their bodies are extremely muscular, allowing them to be adept burrowers, ideal for their fossorial lifestyle.

So TL;DR: rain frogs are little balls of muscle (maybe the largest muscle mass relative to body mass of any vertebrate? science just doesn’t know).

Hai, sdh lama g nulis dsni smpe lupa terakhir kpn dikunjungi. Ya memang ini cm sbg catetan sambat saja selama g ada sambatan ya ga tercatat 😁

Mau sdkit sambat ttg perasaan ku yg lg hancur2nya. Bbrpa hr yg lalu istri ku ketahuan selingkuh dg atasannya di kantor, entah sejauh apa hubungan merka aku g tau. Tp istriku dan selingkuhannya mengaku hanya sbatas chat saja, tidak smpai ke hubungn yg lbh jauh ky hubungn badan. Hati ini remuk rasanya, mental aku jatuh sejatuh2nya. Aku memutuskan utk tetap mnjaga pernikahan dan keutuhan keluarga ku. Dg pertimbangan aku mau anak ku kelak tumbuh slayaknya anak normal di kluarga yg utuh dan aku jg masih sayang dg istriku.

Jujur emg terjadi perang di dlm batin. Istriku sdh mengaku trauma dan tobat g akan melakukan hal itu lg dan mengaku khilaf. Aku terima smua permintaan maaf dan pertobatan dy. that sure thing cover is the best and worst thing to happen to me as a blink. the best bcs they all sound so good like helloooo the harmonies omg 🤤 but the worst bcs it's a reminder of what could have been. this was the type of music they always did as trainees but then yg/tbl never let blackpink release any r&b songs like ???? the dumbest decision ever. jensoo especially sound amazing in this cover, i feel like we rarely hear their lower registers and that is a crime 😫 need all of them to do r&b at some point tbh and yeah you're right, we're most likely to hear that from jennie and thank god for that 🤩 possibly rosie too actually, she could do an acoustic r&b moment like sza does sometimes idk
