WIP Wednesday (1/17) | Arsonist Neil / Firefighter Andrew AU (Part 90)

After cleaning up the mess that Aaron’s birthday dinner left all over the counter, Andrew drops back onto the couch and opens his phone to find a backlog of messages from 10. He’s confused at first, but soon realizes he’s been sent a million updates about an exy game he doesn’t give a fuck about. Andrew lets out a huff of air and begrudgingly starts to skim the messages, scanning for anything not exy-related. 

There's nothing of interest. Except for a couple expertly-crafted insults about the referees. Andrew actually snorts at one, admiring 10's creativity. The mouth on that man... Andrew shakes his head. That has more than one meaning. He finishes reading the messages, finally arriving at:

10 The Sharks won. 42-39. Andrew Why do I care? 10 Because you... secretly love exy? Andrew Incorrect. Though, your commentary *almost* makes it sound interesting.

It nearly kills Andrew to say something positive about exy. But really, he’s complimenting 10. So it’s fine.

HI DEKLO just dropping by to say I absolutely LOVE your art especially this one holy shit. That one literally was such a moment. When I first saw that it was a day after I finished the series and had immediately went to look for rovinsky fanart. It was 4 am and was tired as hell. Blasting my whiteboy trash music and eating tiramisu,,,,, and let me tell you I was so giddy from thinking of rovinksy and when I saw you art I had to stop everything I was doing and I just. Sort of stared at it with my mouth hanging open for a solid minute. Its still my fav art of them to date and I would hang it on my wall if I could. It changed my life btw

I’ve just been busy and low energy lately! Plus I’m trying to make sure I have everything ready for @aftgsecretsnowflake cause I’m starting that almost exactly when I start uni

I do have asks that I need to queue up and I’ve thought about just throwing them in the queue with no response but I don’t want to run that account as something I don’t even engage with. I want every anon and confession to get a response but I am at the point where I might just tag it and post it anyway

I’ve also just really not been in the mood for tumblr in general. This account is really the only one I’ve been using atm and even then I haven’t really been interacting with anyone or anything at all. In short I’ve just been feeling discouraged and kind of done with everything, I’m not gonna deactivate even though I’ve thought about it, it just might take me a minute to get back into things and actually get caught up with everything I need to do

SOMEONE FINALLY ASKED YES OK IM SO EXCITED. (I’m writing a lot of this during a coaches college I’m attending this weekend)

Ok, so I imagine that Ichirou runs the main court of the Raven kingdom with an iron fist. Riko runs the smaller, secondary court to keep him occupied.

In order to start building Riko’s court I think Tetsuji killed Lady Kaleigh Day, they went to some finishing school together, in order to claim her son, Kevin.

Nathan Wesninski donated his own son, Nathaniel, to Riko’s court as well. So Keven, Neil, and Riko grow up together.

Meanwhile, Wymack is establishing The Foxhole court. He names Abby queen. They are also close friends with Duchess Betsy Dobson.

Betsy, who is an accomplished swords woman, finds a feral 13 year old in the woods near her manor.

Andrew spends a lot of time just… fucking around in the forest, avoiding the orphanage he lives in. So Betsy offers to train him, and takes him in as her sword son. But before legally adopting him, Tilda Minyard comes for him. She finally let the secret slip about Andrew and Luther dragged Tilda to go get him. Betsy wanted to keep Andrew, but (at this point they’ve known each other for about 2 years) Andrew asked her to trust him and to let him go. She agrees. Two months later, a terrible fire kills Tilda. Andrew comes home to Betsy with Aaron in tow. A week later, Nicky comes to stay with them too.

Eventually, Kevin is tossed aside by Riko, who finds Neil a much more interesting toy. So Kevin runs to Wymack.
