It has the vague feeling of being lived in only sparingly, with little in the way of personal effects or anything else that might convey the homeowner's personality beyond rich enough to afford a sprawling apartment in New Jersey of all fucking places.

Severen, sprawled dog-tired on the couch, stinking of death; the Corinthian, cross-legged on the coffee table, cleaning his knives. Enclosed together like this, the Corinthian can feel Severen's fatigue - not quite as if it were his own, but as if he were consuming the beast's eyes even now, seeing what he sees, feeling what he's felt...

"I'm not a storyteller, I'm afraid."

Thinks of Cain and Abel, of Eve, of Lucien. Of the Prince of Stories himself, locked in a basement far from here. The Corinthian can still feel him too, distantly... though he can never tell if it's really Dream he's feeling, or if it's just the fantasy that he can.

The sunglasses removed, he glances over with open eyes at the thing lying on his sofa, and hums in thought. The sun is rising out there, beyond the curtains. Soon Severen will be dead to the world--but not to the Corinthian, who has to fight these days to keep from entering his dreams each morning, and doesn't always succeed. They go tumbling into the fractured, dead Dreaming together most days; the Corinthian loves and hates him for it, knowing neither of them will shrink back from the other now.

The Corinthian could stop. If he wanted to. Cut the cord; sever the tie. He could find a way.

In the book camille is obsessed with her 14 year old sisters big ol titties. truly insane.

I love these teeth sisters so much. Camille obsession with Amma in the book and the way she can’t stop talking about how beautiful Amma’s looks. The drug kiss at the party and the way Amma/Camille can be consider a form of mother/daughter incest due to their age gap and the way they’re recreating the trauma of past relationships like their mother and late grandmother.

I think an interesting concept would be a rival group full of characters that parallels of the characters of the main cast.

Caine’s would probably be a drill sergeant like character that’s named Abel and has a nose as its head with only eye brows to expression himself.

Jax’s character would probably be small fox character, who’s actually pretty nice and actually tries to help gangles parallel when their mask gets broken.

Gangle’s opposite would definitely have the mask motif but probably wear a sad mask but have a happy mask underneath, kinda like a “woe is me” but in a way where it’s obviously fake. I don’t know what their actual body would be, probably cardboard tubes because ribbons are usually sold on a tube, though they could be a knotted string.

Kinger’s would be a checkered piece who’s very level headed that does rebel against Abel a lot.

Now we’re getting to the harder characters, ragatha’s character would be a toy that can’t be changed or moved easily, I was thinking of a little toy soldier, kinda like the ones from Toy Story, I think this little man would be very blunt. I like the concept that the little fox follows them around like they’re this cool older brother.

Ok I know that everyone is going to be asking why I made ragatha’s character a toy that can’t be easily customized when zooble is right there being ripped apart and remade. Well the thing is ragatha is made from a material that can be squished and added too very easily, zooble is made to be customized, that’s their whole gimick. Also zooble is what I can only assume is hard plastic.

Zooble’s oppisite is a slime, I don’t have much on this one, it’s moldeable, but can’t be changed once you add color to it. I don’t have much for its character, it’s just there, but unlike zooble we don’t get the angsty teen attitude, in fact Abel is the only one that knows what it’s saying.

Pomni is probably one of the harder characters to think of, because every archetype is taken. Let’s make them a king/queen, oh we already have royal characters, let’s make them a ringleader because actually pomni’s “jester’s” motif is actually a fool, oh wait there’s Caine. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, idk a maid? While yes in media it’s directly opposite would probably a king or a ringleader leader especially since they’ve basically become lower in status than those characters. Jesters were a pretty high level status, so our best option for an opposite character for pomni would probably be a maid character that’s name roughly translates to forget or something. I’m sure y’all could think of better.

Anyways of course glitch studios isn’t gonna do this idea, because that’s way too many characters in one episode, coffmo already had to be killed off because the main cast was too much. Also then the question of who created them or if they’re npcs. Would come into play. I’d imagine that Caine made them to add more pizzazz to adventures but like, I like to imagine Caine hates Abel so why even make them? I just think this concept is fun and would work for fanfic adventures especially since I’m sure tadc is only getting one season, of course that can change.

I am here to announce what I've been hinting at for the past... idk like, few days? Artificially Organic fans and Caine Angst Club, RISE UP!

I know that a lot of you may have been hoping for a sequel, however. To write a good sequel, I felt as if I needed to rewrite the original. This time, its in 3rd person, and hopefully easier to read. (and I'll make Abel even easier to hate)

This will also help me remember what I wrote, so that the sequel can be accurate. Yes, I am planning a sequel, do not worry. however, for now, I hope you can appreciate the rewritten version of the fic that actually helped me gain an audience!

Recently Vivienne posted a new character with Emily and Sera on her social media account, as I think you might have also noticed.

Adam's son Abel is gonna be shown in season 2 of Hazbi Hotel, and I want to know your thoughts on him.

I personally think he wouldn't be an antagonist character like his father(Adam), considering his kind looking smile and face. On the other hand, Adam was just giving off a clear antagonist vibe by his headress (horns and evil grin and all). I feel like Abel would agree with Emily's thoughts and also help Charlie achieve her dreams of helping sinners' redemption.

What kind of role do you think Abel would play throughout the upcoming season?

If they're going to have his characterization be close to the Abel in the Bible, then i highly doubt he'd be the bad guy. He was God's favorite! Tho if they want a twist, there's also that fact that in the bible Abel sacrificed one of his beloved lambs as a gift to God as a testament of his love for Him(as opposed to Cain who only offered crops that he had no attachment to). There's certain ways you can use a character trait like that for antagonistic actions, but eh. I dont have too much of a high hope for that. I dont think I'd want that route either.

What I do want is for Abel to form some kind of(non-romantic) relationship with Lute. Aside from the fact that they're both mourning Adam, I'd like to see parallels drawn between Lute and Vaggie's rivalry and Cain and Abel's tragic brotherhood.

So if you're not familiar with Genesis, in their part of the Bible, Cain and Abel were both sons of Adam and Eve. Abel was the one favored by God, and Cain found this unfair and was very envious of his younger brother, to the point where he ends up murdering him. On the other hand, Lute and Vaggie were both angels under Adam's command. Although the brief flashback has us implying Lute attacked Vaggie due to the demon she spared, I really wont be surprised if she happened to be envious/threatened by the fact that Adam favored Vaggie in any kind of way too.

Since he's literally humanity's first murder victim, I'd really like to know his thoughts about the Extermination and Lute's bloodthirst. I'd like a scene of him attempting to reel Lute in, warning her how he'd seen the same look in his brother's eyes before and how it consumed him.

You know this one song number from Tangled the series? I'd like something like this with them(yes, that's Lucifer's VA. Yes the VA for the lady also gives off Lute vibes. That's probably because both of their VAs have played Elphaba in Broadway)

Firstly I just wanted to tell you that I love your AU! Your Harlequin au was what intorduced me to lovely TADC au Tumblr community and I absolutley love it! I haven't seen alternate universes as creative as these since the Sansverse era!

Secondly, I hace a question about the Patriarch: He seems to have a very good idea of who Caine is, wouldn't he be this world's equivalent to Able? I ask because althugh his design is WAY different from most fan Able depictions, he still has that "The Puppetmaster's brother" vibe that all Ables tend to have, a peace of Caine's past that he can never get rid of!

If he is not Able then I am curious of who he is, if he is then the lore just got spicier and if you don't want to spoil anything I'll understand.

But honestly: Keep it up! Your au has filled 70% of all my daydreams, the only thing I have been able to think about for a while has only been game mechanics, combat and chase sequences!

Though I am very proud of that because that means my design philosophy worked somehow, and for that, I'll throw you guys a bone. And also because I can't keep it a secret any longer I've been holding it in since the very beginning of this au

The Patriarch of Puppets is none other than Abel, Caine's biological brother.

When I was first designing him, I wanted every aspect of Abel's design to scream "opposite of Caine", and to hold some form of symbolism. From his megaphone head, down to the color palettes, there is meaning. Don't get me wrong, Mushy's Able is a very memorable and awesome design and I could've incorporated him the same way I did Souls-like, but I wanted something deeper for Harlequin.

While Caine is adorned in golds and maroons to symbolize his warmer nature, Abel has teals and silver, a very cold and intimidating stature. Their outfits and the colors are an opposition towards each other yet reflect one another somehow, the way Abel dresses tightly and formal when Caine is loose and open, his intense red pupil conveys his hostility, whilst Caine's eyes are softer blues and greens.

His king-size height dwarfing Caine tells just how much the Puppetmaster felt living on his shadow, HELL, someone noticed the weird "A" on the sides of his head and I had to shrug it off because I didn't want to reveal it as early as that time.

Even the megaphone head design holds SO MUCH UNTOLD STORY BETWEEN THE BROTHERS THAT I WILL CHOOSE TO KEEP A SECRET FOR NOW. I've put SO MUCH THOUGHT behind his design.

*sigh*... Which is also why I very much dislike the "siren head" jokes, because it's the one thing I didn't really foresaw when I was developing his design until I finished, and someone pointed out it might cause jokes like that to prop up. Something I thought I wouldn't mind initially, until everyone made the same joke over and over again and I just audibly groan irl.

But you know. internet's gonna internet, they see one thing that resembles a popular media, it's an immediate connection. I didn't even give a shit enough about Siren head to know how the design actually looked like, just a silhouette of the guy.

Therefore, I would really appreciate it if saying this out loud would help lessen the jokes, but ik not everyone is going to see this post so.

I do still wanna thank you for your kind words, because these kinds of asks are the fuel to my fire of inspiration and motivation for this AU, and I wish that I can keep this fire going till the very end of this AU's story :')
