Why do we compliment/celebrate someone losing weight THE MOMENT we notice??? Like, if you mention you've been trying to lose weight and there's a noticeable difference is one thing, but complimenting/celebrating someone's weight loss unprompted ?????

Why do ppl do that??

#yes this post is due to being PUBLICLY CONGRATULATED on losing weight.#um. i barely remember to eat twice a day. this is not a thing to celebrate #& THEY'VE TOLD ME THAT TWICE IN LIKE. 2 WEEKS #I wasn't even like. fat?? i just wasn't super skinny #why is this a thing #why do people do this #w h y #sigh #anyway #demon tedtalk™
