I’m very in much love with someone going crazy for another and *mwah* do you do it right and justice! That said, prioritize yourself! Drink water! Eat! Don't you know that the truest, most profound kind of love is born not beneath the soft, pale light of the full moon, not in the sound of a pair's steps as they dance the night away, not within the warmth and security of a tender embrace, but within the walls of the solitary confinement cell in the "dangerous and violent" housing section of a psych ward? LOL jk. It's really fun writing a lovesick/obsessed person for some reason. I don't have this dynamic for any of my other ships, this is the first time I've opted to explore a darker, more uncomfortable and unstable route/interpretation of a "relationship" and it's honestly been a blast lol. (I DO also ship mutual BurningCheese, but under specific conditions, AKA Burning Spice has a redemption arc and GC falls for him on her own. I just can't justify them being together if he's still evil. So long as he is, the love is one-sided)

I really am grateful for your compliments and encouragement. I've got a super big and important BurningCheese fic in the oven rn, but I do need to actually focus on real life for a bit, so it'll be some time. Your colours might seem off for a number of reasons, it’s hard to tell exactly why by just guessing. It can be related to your software/display or directly to your choice of colours.

Trey is, if my memory serves me correctly, one of the most well-liked characters in the Japanese fandom (i remember there used to be a JP poll asking which character in Twist was the most loved). Most likely due to his personality, which again makes sense given that the majority of Twist users are grownups and Trey's portrayal of a character who, despite being a young adult, is quite mature.

Furthermore, even though I realise I'm going to sound like Idia, I detest how the "Normies" entered Nerd/Geek spaces after gaining popularity and then pretended to be uncomfortable with what they saw. You came to OUR space, dude! What did they expect?!

It really is an obvious joseimuke in how the game is written, how the game operates (the gacha system, like you mentioned) + even the type of merch that exists for this game. If you think about it, this is probably the best way to determine the actual target audience of any piece of media: just like Prince of Tennis is technically a classic Shonen Jump series, but all the merch they have is clearly aimed at adult women (purses, perfume, etc).

So yeah, even if that wasn’t the case, calling people predators over shipping themselves with Azul would be a bad thing to do, but in this situation especially it’s absurd to call people out for interacting with TWST pretty much the way it was indented…

What you said about the characters’ age and Trey specifically is so true. To be fair, this could be said about any joseimuke-like title with a big ensemble of boys, Prince of Tennis included. All the characters there are 12-15 years old, but god some of them look over 30.

I think it is important to keep in mind the intended age to a degree (= I dislike how the EN translation tries to dance around mentioning the boys’ age), and Twst does a good job at keeping these boys authentic when it matters, but it doesn’t mean that people won’t ship them with other characters or themselves. And no one questions it and no one finds it weird because it isn’t. It’s not that deep, it has nothing to do with how real teens look or act, this is a fantasy in people’s heads, it’s escapism, it so different and so far removed from the regular boring life it’s insane. It’s so difficult not to sound like Idia, SO I FEEL YOU ANON.  Someone called it the moe factor that some people just don’t get. So I guess it really is about people being normies sometimes lol I wish they would leave already.

I'll make the amulets powers, side effects, guardian, and weapons! That way you guys wouldn't have to figure out what it is and who gets what!

(BTW! I'm also using some pictures on Google since I can't draw and Gacha isn't helping, so I have to be creative... Sorry guys! If you want, you can design some of these if you want! Just credit me!)

Crimson Red Amulet

This amulet, maybe, the very first color based thing, it's actually the third most powerful amulet. This one has the ability to control blood, inside or outside of the body, and teleportation through smoke, it's a thing they use to escape from conflict.

Obviously, this one is a dark amulet, but, the side effects of it makes it interesting. It's from the blood thirst family (aka vampires), where they gained it after a man made a deal with the devil for immortality, but sadly, that turned him into a vampire, where he was thirsty for blood, which, the holder will die in 2-3 weeks if they don't get blood.

However, once they bite down into the victim, that victim becomes a mindless husk that obeys the holder, which they can proceed to kill anyone, innocent or not, and deliver the body to the holder and creature, so they can gain strength and feel full.

The amulets will have the spirits of each holder each generation, but for this story, it'll be the holder of a man named Damien Nobel, who was a Mafia leader of the northern region, and the very first blood thirst, who passed this amulet down to his son after his death of not finding blood in time, but not only that, he can also be the guardian, which is a giant bat, who is a merciless monster, who can eat anyone whole, while inhaling the blood to help gain power for the amulet. (Whenever a creature kills someone, they gain power for the amulet, while the holder and weapon does not).

The weapon the amulet holds is a sword, that is known as the Crimson Blood Sword, which was made by the cult of blood thirst family as a way to protect their lord and have his loyalty. As you cut into its skin with this sword, your blood will disappear into the sword, but really, it's holding the blood for the amulet holder when it gets hungry.

Jasper Heart Amulet

This amulet is the fourth most powerful amulet, considering this one can have fire manipulation (like lava, heat, ashes, etc.), and also telekinesis, which obviously means they can move things with their minds.

Even if this is typical magic, the side effects are that, 1. The skin burns whenever they use their powers, and yes, it hurts, but it doesn't slowly begin to show their bones, but it just leaves nasty blisters.

But besides that, they have heat mimicry, which means they can transform into fire, or have their opponent turn into fire, which for them, is very deadly and painful, but it can make them into soldiers with flaming skin.

The amulet that holds this, was a woman named Enya Blaze, who was a tyrant soldier of the army near the northern west, with flaming soldiers and her guardian form, which is a beautiful phoenix, who can burn or return the dead.

The weapon is a whip sword, that is known as the Lavastone Whip Sword, which was handmade by the very first holder, who died alongside it and it became one with the phoenix, which, once it stabs you, it'll burn your inside slowly after a day, but a cut will burn your wound, which is good and bad.

Yellow Topaz Amulet

The third colored amulet is the sixth powerful amulet, due to the amulet containing electrical based powers, like controlling electrical powers and thunder/lightning, but it doesn't control the weather, just thunder or lightning storm, meanwhile it can shock anyone. This power also can be magnetic, which is known for electromagnetic, which essentially, moving electric charges create magnetic fields, and changing magnetic fields can induce electric currents, meaning they are intertwined powers within the same system.

The side effect is that if you use too much, the electricity can fry your brain into stupidity, like Denki Kaminari, but it can mostly lead you to death, if you don't do it right. And the metal has to be iron, nickel, and cobalt, no steel, gold, silver, etc.

The shock can debate how deadly it is, 0-2 level of shock can hurt, 3-5 can leave wound, 6-8 can put you in a coma, and 9-10 can fry your brain, but the 6-8 to 9-10 only works if you shock the person for a minute or two, so meaning, it'll be deadly if use right.

This amulet was the holder of Amber Storm, where she was a queen, who has a kind person, who wanted to care for her people. She can also change into a giant bee, who can use its wings to generate a positive electrical charge.

The weapon is a hidden blade that is called Hidden Shock Blade, that can be activated by a push of a button and it can shock you on the blade, plus, it might be used to charge some stuff.

"Plot": After being mostly alone for most of their own travels, Leilani keeps meeting a strange cryptid huntress and the two start sticking together and meeting (and befriending) weirdos like them. (Dw, I'll make a "meet the gang" post soon and I'll put the link here.)

For part of her lore: nephilims are beings who have an angel as ONE of the biological parents. Most often than not they are half-humans, however that's not Leilani's case.

Ask and I’ll usually always say yes. I just want there to be enough communication between us :).

To be honest with you I do to, once you dream of it you forget when you wake up but there are sometimes where you wake up remembering, I write it down in my dream book before I forget about it later on, what’s Tom Moore? OKAY SO, these people are Cosmicco (on the left) and Mist-Jun (on the right)!

(Excuse the crude doodles but I assume I have tons of drawings of them posted so you've probably seen them before xP)

And they look human, right? Or, at least, mainly human? Well, (dun, dun, DUN!!) they're not! They're (and a lot of my other ocs but this is about Mist and Co 😇) a magical species called Starions!

(It's a play-on-words of the word "star-crossed!" Hehe, don't ask...)

Cosmicco has reactive powers (to be exact, it's a cross between Earth powers and Fire powers but... Way more explosive. She's vulnerable to fire cuz of how reactive fire also is. It can like... Make her literally implode.) and Mist-Jun controls the wind/air. Mist is weak to thunder/electric powers cuz yk... Electrocution.

They look human but are actually just elemental spirits that possess human bodies. However, that's not all bad cuz, without their human emotions, they could only feel fear and m u r d e r n e s s. However, their elemental forms can still be "unlocked" if they are exposed to high levels of elemental "particles" or corruption.

So... Wanna see their "true elemental" forms? Also, sorry for using Gacha Club but it's honestly good for mapping designs–-

This is --true elemental form-- Cosmicco! She's faceless/expressionless and it's unknown if she has eyes under her flower crown or she simply never had eyes. Every time something should kill her, all that happens is that another flower blooms someone around her head/eyes. The middle parts of each of the flowers actually act as eyes. So she has hundreds of eyes

She barely has a soul of her own in this form so that's why ghosts control her (or she controls ghosts) and she can mimic anyone's appearance that she has collected enough data on while she's in this form.

She, of course, cannot talk; she has no mouth. To work around that, whenever she tries to communicate, she exaggerates gestures and such like a speechless cartoon character xD. Oh yeah, and she moves like a zombie–-

Cuz, yk, she's either completely mindless or constantly possessed–-

This is --true elemental form-- Mist-Jun! Fun fact: Starions have "levels" of magic. Mist-Jun has an extremely high level. Naturally, he's very powerful–-

And no, he can't talk. He can only make roars and screams and such.

I'm only half happy with their designs... They're meant to look inhuman and magical but they just look like edgy anime characters... Especially Cosmicco's...

Also yes, their normal colour schemes are different than the representative colours of their powers. Ik it looks cursed but that's what I was going for–-

My Top 5 Favorite Magia Record Character Designs!

I've been in the Magia Record fandom since the game came out. I adore it as it combines one of my favorite animes with my crippling gacha addiction. And since I've been in the fandom so long I wanted to show off what I consider to be my favorite magical girl outfits.

5. Rika Ayano

I know I know its a little plain but I genuinely think its an adorable design. Her design grew on me the more I began to like her character (sorry) and I'm sucker for anything cute. Also, the little makeup mirror weapon she has? I actually think its a creative choice for a weapon.

4. Iroha Tamaki

I really think Iroha's design is seriously underappreciated. To be honest I think she has one of the most practical and bad ass magical girl designs I've ever seen. She looks like an assassin but with a heart of gold. The touches of black on her outfit I feel are a bold move (in my opinion) considering she's the main character.

3. Moka Megumi

Moka is only available on the Japanese server currently and only recently became a playable character. Ever since her design was released I've been in love with her outfit. It's meant to resemble a dessert and the choice of colors is amazing to me. It's not every day you see colors like brown or orange used for magical girls and I love it here.

2. Konomi Haruna

I'm so happy she's a fan favorite and she deserves it. There's such a whimsical element to her whole aesthetic that just draws me in. She's always resembled a little fairy to me and her weapon goes so well with that look. Her outfit just gives a cozy vibe.

1. Sayuki Fumino

Ah yes, the idol has my favorite design! I can't even describe how much I love the color choices and outfit as a whole. When I first saw Sayuki I legitimately thought "That's what I'd want to look like if I were a magical girl." I feel like they robbed her by not giving her a sword for a weapon, but I even think the microphone is incredibly cute.
