Hey! First of all thank you so much for reaching out and sorry for confusing you!

I did indeed upload something! But after a while I got very self concious about it. I have been experimenting a lot with both the content I draw and my artstyle since I have not been very happy with my art recently so I wanted to change things up. At the same time though there's this underlying anxiety or fear of judgement for some reason. not to poke my head in where it doesn't belong but. i have very little context for the current RW drama- but yall really need to stop acting like everyone who likes the same thing as you is your best friend. and that ALL different opinions are something to be actively shunned and shamed. ive seen like 3 posts that all boil down to "fandom bad it ruins the game for me im gonna leave" and people getting the weirdest anon hate, and its so confusing to me. Block the people who are weird (in your opinion,) and try not to make everyone in the fandom your bestie.

Note: never join a fandom discord expecting to make a bunch of live long friends. they almost always end up this way. if you are in a room with people who literally just have the same POPULAR game in common, there's gonna be people you dislike. and people who do bad shit.

And for the love of god- this is more general- take words like "zoo," "proship," "groomer" ect out of your mouth and just say what exactly they actually did/support. trying to figure out what the hell yall are talking about whenever this stuff comes up is impossible, because some people think its "proship" to write a fic where the adult characters are mean to each other, people think ALL anthro nsfw is zoophilia (including??? literally just adults doing it in suits?? you can think its weird but if it isnt hurting any real animals please just block and move on.), and that a 19 year old dating a 17 year old is grooming. (NOT examples i saw in the tag but ones ive heard in other places).

My dream tonight was fucking insane. I'll just write bullet points.

First off all the baki anime was getting rebooted so this time they'd fucking made Baki a furry. Not as in he was anthro, no, he had to put on a fucking suit (it was a cute big cat :) ) and i was so maaad about this change because the old outfit was iconic enough and this was being made to appeal to a larger audience or something.

Also i think they killed off Jack Hanma or something i was mad about that too

Next thing i remember I was outside, in some hike. I always dream about being outside.

I don't remember shit i did except for the fact when i was tired i decided to lay down in the middle of the fucking field for no reason and i threw a pillow and a blanket and it was a wide thick blanket this magenta color, close to this one,and i laid down i started seeing in the horizon with the clouds all going down one was coming over which very clearly brought rain and i knew rain at night while i sleep on the grassy ground was like a death sentence but i just didn't feel like moving to the house a few blocks by where other people lived because i'd fumbled it pretty hard before.

My death wish wasn't granted however because one woman and some maybe male pal of hers came over. She was blonde and had an eyepatch. I pretended to be fast asleep so she wouldnt try to move me. She didn't, instead, she covered myself with a plastic wrap (head to toe btw i got scared for a second about it but decided to just trust her y'know?)

Lady said i looked cute and retold a story about one time i helped her, something related to her eye prob. I think her name was "one-eyed Jackie" btw. Also, i didnt feel like an adult in this dream, i felt like a kid, put a pin on that.

Now cozy and safe i decided to quote a poem from memory to sleep a poem which does not exist and of which i dont remember enough to write it down but the main theme was about holding on against the unstoppable crushing pressure and this was all illustrated on a comic in a dark pool where the character (fucking PG btw idk how he didnt short circuit also im really normal yes thanks for asking) started floating but then there was no water and he was just gripping the edge to not fall and he never did but the poem ended with the repetition about gripping on. It was a somber one but bc my loving nature i just wanted to save him tm and i kept (no pun intended with that last one) thinking of two people walking across different landscapes like a documentary montage. It was nice.

Unfortunately i was almost ran the fuck over while i was trying to dream in peace.

I jumped to the side and avoided the truck but my devices were there and i told to Jackie "My phone is there :( " and she was like no they retrieved it now stop worrying about that are you ok?!

I think it was then when it fully transformed into a movie, or perhaps the earlier scene with Jackie was, either way, i am now no longer me and im instead L.L.

And for dear life I'd not explain to you what happened in this movie although i think they mentioned Sam Raimi made it? It did have some horror things like uh, a fucking werewolf. Like out of our pals, he was just a werewolf and he'd transform each part whenever he wanted. It was nuts, hilarious too.

There was a big bad and his team too at one point they set our little clown shack (bc it was the size of a letrine yet like 8 people were inside it) on fire.

The ending was nutty too actually papyrus fucking died i just remembered. There was this giant freezing mechanism and he (who btw didnt look like paps he was naked his head was very rectangular and cartoony and bigger than his arms, also he was my height) was like "i'll just wait for them to come back to talk this out! :) and i was like PAPYRUS NO! but then it was too late he was head to toe frozen with a smile still on his face....... tried to whipe the moisture from his face maybe w some heat we'd save him but a girl in my team just was like cmon we need to go so i had to leave him.

And then we faced the big bad who was literally just some guy who kinda looked like uh. Hang on. Well i cant find his name but the guy from bg3 who looks like a fucking clown and people love to hate or something. Except w longer crazier hair. And he did fucking kil my epic werewolf bestie but we managed to get rid of him locking him up Somewhere i guess for him to die.

and then we were all coming back from the intensity of it all and the girl from before is like "you gotta admit, that was the best terrible movie ever" and i didnt dare to say i actually loved it

also i forgot if i mentioned this but this movie had a fandom and fanart and somoene had drawn my wolfy pal (who my brain keeps insisting on calling trevor but im pretty sure that's an unrelated werewolf. Also this guy i remembered his looks, his fur was grey and black but he was pale and blonde w short hair sticking up, like, platinum blonde) like "yeah im a werewolf despite that never being explained ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" which is why when it happened i didnt question it, ironically.

anyway i think i brought up the poem and this is when you take off that pin because now one of my childhood friends from primary school (or a representation of her) started talking about how she wrote a following poem or maybe i was talking about a different one idk but she talked about how it opened doors in her life and she annoyed me so i went to sit somehwere else.

And i remember this scene where someone went to sleep so we were told to be silent and a friend was looking thru my drawings adn they were all things i never drew of characters that dont exist and it had this tangible mischevious energy like we were two kids trying to not laugh annoying each other who might get in trouble.

Then i finally sat down in a corner with a friend, could have been my childhood friend (only one i still talk to who's male) or my platonic partner (eye, if you're reading this, hi! ^_^) and we just started talking about friendship, with him mentioning i'd go talk to the rest in the main table instead of lingering here alone but i conter argued i'd eventually do it, it'd just take me a long time. After all, it did take me quite a bit to get close to him, did it not? this was fine.

I woke up so groggy i wouldnt have been able to tell you my own name if you asked me but that whole thing just felt like, such a peaceful story. So fun ! Sad i couldnt save the wolf but you cant save everyone out there tbh

What if the Gods were the reason the Puzzlepeaces survived their various traumas?

Now, when i initially thought this up i was thinking of applying this to specifically Luna, my main character and The Childrens Disciple (unwilling. being a Disciple is never a choice), but im thinking of incorporating this into some of the other Peaces backstories, too.

(mainly the more...Displacing ones? Phos, Sulfina, Ray, Nora, maybe even Octavious and Pietro. Who knows)

See, heres the deal with Luna :

(TW: Bullying, Discrimination, Species-ism (is there a proper word?), Arson, Childhood Trauma obviously, so many fucking allegories. tell me if i need to add more)

Is this the first time i talk about her in depth? yes.

Luna Claw, her birth name, is born into a small Wolf family comprising of her father, his parents, and her human mother.

Due to this is she is a hybrid, which would be fine if she wasn't living in a predominantly human area.

For most of history, anthros and humans have lived together peacefully, no real conflict has ever risen as they have evolved and ruled the earth hand in hand.

Until about the early 1800's. This sparks a shift in the perception of non-human humanoids among the homosapien population.

It's not entirely clear what started this, maybe tension between perceptions of power or influence...

Anything, really, but what should be noted is that the humans vastly outnumber the rest of the people, and thus quickly overwhelm the people fighting back against this discrimination. Villages are burned to the ground and castles and manors are set ablaze (lore relavant...).

Fire becomes a common thing to use to rid of the unwanted to this day.

As a result of this, everybody but humans are oppressed. Even actual humans with non-homosapian traits. Things like witches, wizards, sorcerers. Magic users in general. Ghosts, created that way out of nature or tragedy. Vampires, mermaids, anthros, the like.

So where does this place my little girl?

Well, she grows up in this small little forest cloaked community, yes? This just so happens to also be the base of operations of a corporation. A certain Petnos.

Petnos isn't a government run corporation, nor is it's operations very legal as soon as you look underneath the charitable donations to organisations that notably only support humans.

But the government sure isn't stopping it. Nor is it asking what the hell the flamethrowers and gas masks are doing under company expenses.

Because of proximity, Petnos weeds it's way into the roots of the community, posters and fliers and 'helpful' tips to 'protect your family'. The fact that non-humans are few and far between - and suspiciously turning to ashes - doesn't help either.

This turns the community against the family, Lunas parents have trouble finding work, they're all frequently harassed, and Luna is bullied awfully by her peers.

The bullying was always some bullshit regergated from Petnos->Guardian->Child.

It took an awful lot to even get through the day, let alone do work at school. They didn't have any of those specially designed pencils so Lulus little paws could grip better on her pencils, so her teachers would always scold her for her messy handwriting and that she never could write as much as the other (human) children.

They'd step on her tail, growl at her, trip her up, anything you could imagine a brainwashed kid would do to get the approval of a bigoted and similarly brainwashed parent.

It was awful. But at least Luna had her family.

But hey, remember when I mentioned those arsons?

Lunas home & her entire living family burn to the ground while she is on her way home from school.

Like normal, she is bullied and harassed on her way there, but today they are particularly vicious. They take up more of her time than usual, having had to chase them down multiple times to get her stuff back, take winding paths. The like.

The Petnos employees assume Luna is at home when the house is ablaze. They track every households activities before they carry out their operations, they're professionals. They've been doing this for centuries.

But Luna just happened to run late. And so she was spared. Or, not really. As soon as she is seen by the employees, she runs into the forest and runs and runs and runs.

They follow her but presume she is dead, or will die from exposure in due time.

I don't know how she didn't. Maybe the Sun and Moonchild had something to do with it.

Maybe the Sun and Moonchild had something to do with Lunas 'random' lateness, maybe they, with their influence, did something to extend the child's berating, to make her run just late enough to spare her life.

Is that even mercy? Is that not still torture? If they're so all powerful, why not stop it all at the root? Have it so the shift never happened, Petnos is never founded, Lunas family is alive?

Did they traumatise her on purpose to plant the seeds of rebellion in her young mind? To fill her with helplessness and then rage at the injustice, only to anoint her as a Disciple to go through with her pipedreams of peace?

She's just a damn child. She wants to be a scientist, not a revolutionary. She's only 17 when the story starts, and she loses her family at 6. Six years old.

Yes, she gets taken in, adopted by Loretta and Eryl, yes, she gains a sister, a healthier upbringing in another place. With people like her that like her.

But that was all though the God's help.

Not directly the Moon and Sun, but of Nature, guiding the little one to dry places to rest, safe berries to eat, clean water to drink. It is because of specially curated, divine circumstance that Luna is even alive to start a revolution.

To march up to Calice and deck her in the face, or kiss her girlfriend on the cheek, or cwtch her best friend, or relax with her sister.

She is essentially indebted to them. Do they take advantage of that? Maybe. Are the Gods even good? One would hope so.

Disciples are always a good thing. Always liberating and overcoming. Does it matter if it's unwilling if you're forced into such goodness?

You should be honoured, really, to have such frequent encounters with THE Gods. Does it matter if you never wanted this in the first place?

You don't have a choice.

dream job? — i loooooooooove the idea of both being a researcher or being a teacher, i would especially love to get to do primate cognition studies or any reasearch on the areas where bioanthro, cultural anthro, and neuroscience overlap but like when i tell someone about the science that im excited about and then THEY get excited about it too from what i told them about it?? like the most rewarding thing ever so i think i would like being a teacher and i think i would be good at it/.... also not necessarily a dream job but i do think it would be cool to work on anthropology documentaries bc i have so many pet peeves about anthro and nature documentaries that im always like i could do this so much better let me be the art director and trhe script writer and the consultant and let me make the documentrary.

realizing now its less of the antagonists backstory and more of. the entire personaverse story. oops

okay so basically his name is Pynk (yes like pink with a y) and hes an anthro pink cat with white on his paws and chest and like. white stripes on his ears and face. his body is organic while his face is a computer screen (traumatic backstory) his best friend is a tv-head robot named Telli (yes like tele-vision) and shes basically a secretary to him. they met while Pynk tried to rob a store for parts and she was the one who manhandled him into giving it up before the police arrived, because she ALSO wanted the stuff (you would think Pynk would hate her. but he just HAD to befriend her) Telli is basically the one who tells him where and when stuff happens and hes the one who robs and asks questions.

oh yeah. the protagonist is Ghoul (yeah like. me. but also hes his own character now but i got attached to the name) hes also an anthro cat, whos grey and can see the dead and has heterochromia. normal stuff. Ghoul basically tries to stop Pynk from doing illegal shit, but Pynk almost always gets away with it because Pynk, whenever the police show up, has done nothing wrong and look, officer, theres no fingerprints!! and Ghoul just seethes.

but then one day, after months of this happening, Pynk kidnaps him. Pynk seems stressed, the fur on his body stiff and matted, like he hasnt been taking care of himself. Ghoul is a bit terrified, because hes never actually had a full-on serious conversation with the guy, and this seems serious. well, Pynk explains: apparently, his dads in town. who is Pynks dad?

oh. oh well get to him.

Pynk hasnt seen him in ten YEARS! and as far as he was aware, his dad was dead. Ghoul then asks what he has to do with this. Pynk, too caught up in impressing his dad, forgot why he even kidnapped Ghoul in the first place. (yeah... out of canon, i have no explanation, i just wanted them to talk. to move the plot forward. you get it-)

upon untying Ghoul, Telli, whos also confused, asks Pynk what his dad looks like, and why hes never brought his dad up before... Pynk just taps his screen, before smiling and saying "never mind. sorry about that! =} lets just move on"

yeahhh... Ghoul and Telli dont fall for it. they look at each other, suspicious of what Pynks doing, and deciding to investigate themselves. ofc not telling Pynk, who doesnt realize the two are gone when his back is turned, trying to distract himself. he only notices theyre gone when theyre outside, cursing tk hkmself before scrambling after them.

cue epic chase scene. although, Telli and Ghoul have no idea what theyre doing, or where theyre going. the chase goes on for about 15-ish minutes, before Ghoul bumps straight into...

Head CEOs of Roborganic (a robotic-organic group that makes robotic-organic relations better, with some science mixed in) Cole and Sparkz. Cole is a tall, slender white anthro cat with black ears and thin, judging green eyes, framed by thick black glasses. Sparkz seems to be a campfore come to life, though leaning in closer tells you he is, in fact, robotic and not flame. They are wearing matching suits, and seem to be talking when Ghoul bumps into them.

Yeah, this is Wixiban. This ref is for Dungeons and Dragons specifically but she’s an alien that travels the multiverse for funsies and also because her home planet has a bounty on her but that’s a whole other can of worms. While Wix can look very different depending on what world she visits she’ll try to keep her appearance as close to normal as possible and D&D is one of those worlds, so besides a downgrade in tech this is how she normally looks :P

Her race is called “Aphorah” and they’re telepaths ‘n shit it’s cool. But whatever I’ll get around to explaining that another day.

ok so im going to give the most through explanation i can here, please feel free to ask more if you are confused on something or if you want to know more: so fantasy racism is when a work will have a non human race, (for example, the taugel from fire emblem awakening, who are a race of wererabbits), but then will apply in universe discrimination against that race (the taugel people were victims of a genocide, with panne and later her son yarne being the last remaining taugel that we know of). in my experience fantasy racism is very rarely written well. many of the people who write it have a fundamental misunderstanding of how racism works and why it happens, and in some cases when the writer is white, have never experienced racism themselves. in dsmp fanworks, fantasy racism is most often carried out against characters like ranboo, who is canonically a enderman hybrid, or characters like techno or fundy, who are popularly headcanon'd to be shapeshifters or part animal or just anthro characters. it is important to note that all of these characters are played by white men. my problems are these: 1.) the character who is most often shown to be fantasy racist is quackity. this is not present in the source material, and is entirely an invention of fanworks, and is furthermore in bad taste considering he is one of the few people of color on the server. while yes, quackity and the butcher's army are the ones who created the propaganda that referred to techno as a pig, this is not fantasy racism. rather, this is an act of political dehumanization. however, because techno is commonly headcanon'd as a shapeshifter or a piglin or a hybrid, fanworks tend to interpret this as a racist act. i do not think i have to explain why showing a mexican man being "racist" against a white man is inherently problematic. these works go further then that, however, by showing quackity being fantasy racist against ranboo, to the point of violence against him. this has no canon basis. it is done solely to write whump fic for ranboo where quackity hurts him and then tubbo or whoever comforts him. again. ranboo is white. quackity is not. it is fucked up to show one of the few people of color on the smp as a violent, angry bigot, when there is no canonical basis for it. it is purposeful misinterpretation of his character, and it is frankly racist as fuck to apply that dynamic to again, a person of color and two white men. 2.) this is used for whump fics for white characters. whump fics written by white writers, because this fandom and many other fandoms are majorly white. it makes me angry that the pain i go through every day, the pain every person of color goes through, is being used as whump material for a character played by people who will never go through the pain and the hurt of racism, who will never be effected by racism, who will never even have to think about racism if they don't want to. by white writers, for white fans. it is alienating being a person of color in fandom, this fandom especially. the only desi streamer i have ever seen is skeppy. i have never seen a muslim streamer other then myself. this fandom continually sidelines and ignores other nonwhite characters. ponk's lore is referred to as "semi lore". ive never seen eryn on his own in fanart. he is only ever referred to in connection with tommy. tina is ignored constantly. quackity is the only poc streamer on the server who's given an ounce of respect, and yet his character is still misinterpreted like this because white writers want angst for their fave white boys. it fucking hurts. the abundance of fantasy racism works in this fandom only adds to this hurt. and when this is called out, people rarely listen. fandom is hostile to people of color and has been since it first started. what i want people to take away from this is to stop creating these works. stop consuming them. start listening to people of color when they say they are uncomfortable. start putting in the work to undo your own racism.

Anyways. i feel like you have some really interesting takes so i was wondering if i could ask you abt what you think of the series?? like. idk it's so good?? you start and it's fun but then it just keeps building and building and then poof you now have a wonderfully crafted story and it's seamless and amazing??? also the designs. i LOVE the designs. tade is so agdjwgdhw and falin and marcille and namari and- anyways women <3. but yeah all the designs are so good, and the characters.... at first i was like. ok. abt laius but now i love him and just. wow ryoko kui is so skilled. manga so good it makes me forget abt the horrors even if there are horrors in it too lmao. anyways, i'm really excited to see how this story is gonna end!!!! and then ill make time to reread it slower too..... but yeah, i'd be happy to hear abt your thoughts on the series!!!

dungeon meshi is very nice :) i think it's as basic as it can get in terms of plot/writing but it excels in other categories. it's just pleasant to read, pleasant to look at, misses the rough around the edges feel a lot of obscure manga have (not that it's obscure lol it got awards and stuff. but it's taken a while to get an anime project) but doesn't feel forced & fabricated either, it's a rather intricate work, like a beautifully crocheted shawl done in vibrant shades... it strikes a good balance between feel-good and eerie. what i personally like the most is how you can see that the author is a very artsy person through her additional sketches, it's someone passionate about her craft who has depth of perception but also knows how to appeal to a wider audience without losing authenticity. i like how her sketches are individualistic and at times unsettling, but the manga itself has a very neat, rounded up, tidy style. another thing i like about the manga is just how diverse the character designs are, not in a "races have distinct designs" way, but that there's a wide variety of physiques, body types, skin colors, and it just does not feel forced or tokenized at all. it's just nice to see something different for a change! and like, i'm a person who really dislikes the setting itself (dungeons & dragons lol. and i don't like anthro stuff and human/animal hybrids either) but it's still easy to enjoy it even for someone like me. and it's rather funny! it has an up-beat optimistic tone overall, light-hearted, the comedy is always timed and delivered well. it's like a more nerdy less plot-heavy fma, comparison to which is always a huge compliment in my book. and yes, the characters are very lovable. marcille is the poster girl for classic main female character, it feels like they even stopped making those lol. everyone is just so different from each other and all have unique personalities explained by their circumstances, even rather episodic characters, and with that you can feel the tremendous care that went into creating them. as i said i don't consider it anything worth writing home about in terms of plot/character writing (it DOES have a video game setting after all...) and frankly in the beginning it was a bit boring but with time it becomes really fluid. "pleasant" is the perfect word for it, it's a good manga

Retrospecter and the sin of wrath

so, i wanna talk about retrospecter for a sec, speficically about his mascot well retrospecter... (this is going off to a great start already.) he is the sin of wrath yes? now i have a problem with that and i im gonna say that here, GREAT JERIMAIAH JESUS CHRISTO THAT AINT AIN’T A DEMON THAT’S A FUCKING TEAL ASS DRAGON, maybe im ranting for no reason, but in my book demons should at least be abit scary, but when i look at retro, even with the demon context applied, i kinda think: “oh baby very cool a new anthro pokemon.” and even then, his berseker form aint that scary either. and another thing, his link to wrath is kinda weird in my opinion, he gamer rages.... that’s it, and maybe he gets grossly over-violent when he does, but some gamers when they rage,they get violent, and start breaking things, so it isn’t changing anything in my perspective.      at this point i am now realizing i am grossly over-nitpicking on a few problems that dont really matter in the grand scheme of things, i dont even dislike retrospecter at all, i just wanted to go on a insane half baked rant about some minor problems about a character over at tumblr, so uh yeah, thats it. bye bye now [[bigshot]]

I sent this blog to a mutual and she just said it was mario & sonic at the olympic games but with plot so godammit ill make one more post before i dissapear into the abyss.

So TLR, talked about it last post. I aint got a single fucking clue how to describe its appearance, ill have to draw it out. Until then, ill just explain what it is. Its a self sustaining place where people who have had their worlds destroyed can go. Its also got pretty much everything; restraunts, shops, housing, jobs, etc. Yeah, ill leave it at that.

Anyway, the owner there likes regulation. She requires every person who can travel to different multiverses be registered into a system to like, prevent crime or smth. Theres also a mercenary for hire system in there too that she set up, and goddam i’m biased to like mercs. Lemme tell you bout em.

First theres these two rapscallions, these absolute scoundrels Cathy and Chromas. One is a mad scientist, the other is gay. I really want to leave it at that but fuck yall i love these fuckers. Cathy is a woman who dont give a shit bout what people think so she aint got much of a filter for her words and actions. Chromas is a ghost controlling a metal body, and he’s the voice of reason. They’re both smart and not normal. Cathy makes a bunch of experimental tech and somehow it works most of the time (She’s missing her right lower leg it got blown off). Chromas makes drones and other weaponry. They even got different fighting styles too i could go on all day bout these fuckers but i aint cause theres others.

Then there’s, uh, a group of 7. I aint got a name for em yet. I started at the most developed and im going down. I based most of em off the tf2 mercs, thinking that I cant just put the tf2 mercs in a game ima be sued. Then I realised yes you can just put the tf2 mercs in a game but i didnt wanna scrap em i had already developed a buncha (sorta) unique characters and a buncha unique character interactions. I’ll list em all off from most developed to least developed: Beastmaster, Seeker, Healer, Bomber, Tank, Inventor, Scope. Ima talk about them in a separate post since theres just a lot to cover (and ive barely developed the last couple at all)

Lastly, there two birds and a walking plant. All anthro btw. Theres an owl, a falcon, and a floran from starbound. I havent touched these fellas much, specially the falcon, but the owl has a shotgun, so thats something.
