don't you just love it when people on here post the most hostile, bad faith takes and then when the post gets popular and people respond with nuanced opinions that the op happens to disagree with, they reblog it with that little "i forgot that we were on the piss on the poor website" so they don't have to acknowledge why their hostile post would receive hostile responses

Message to those who continue to push the fake narrative for Chris Evans hope you learn something 😜
Hollywood PR Marriages: When the Yacht Girl Doesn’t Graft, and the Illusion Falls Apart
In the wild terrain of Hollywood PR, where relationships are chess moves and red carpets are business meetings, the “showmance” or PR marriage is a calculated tool. It’s a game of mutual gain—until one party drops the ball, or worse, exposes themselves (literally or figuratively) and forces the machine to pull the plug.
Let’s break it down. And yes, we’re naming the sins. Because not every yacht girl was born to be a star—some were just born to self-sabotage.
What’s a PR Marriage Supposed to Do?
The goal is simple:
• Control the narrative.
• Push a product, a film, or a “clean-cut” rebrand.
• Leverage each other’s platforms for visibility and financial gain.
She brings beauty, mystery, and digital reach. He brings prestige, connections, and legacy. Together, they make headlines—so long as she shows up.
But when she doesn’t? Oh honey… that’s when it all begins to rot
Red Flags It’s Time to End the PR Arrangement
1. She’s Not Grafting.
No promo. No glam. No red carpets. Not even a hint of a “soft launch” on social. Just radio silence or worse—giving low effort pap walks that look like two coworkers forced to split an Uber.
If she’s not building her brand or helping yours, she’s baggage. And expensive baggage at that. If she can’t fake a smile or play her part, she’s not a partner—she’s dead weight.
2. She’s Posting Nudes for Free.
Here’s the golden rule of PR pairings: Mystique sells. Once the yacht girl starts flooding her feed with desperation thirst traps or posting uncensored photos under the guise of “self-expression,” it’s time to reevaluate.
And no—blurred nipples in black and white do not count as art.
If she’s giving the world everything for free, what’s left to fantasize about? It dilutes the illusion. The moment a topless pic hits Instagram with a fake-deep quote like “feminine energy is chaotic and divine,” the curtain is falling—and fast.
3. The Chaturbate Account is Real.
Yes. This happens. Sometimes the whispers about “old content” being discovered turn out to be fresh and active pay-per-view streams. And nothing kills a legacy actor’s quiet dignity faster than Reddit threads titled “Is this really his girlfriend???” linked to archived cam footage.
Once it’s confirmed she’s streaming from the same living room she shares with your PR boyfriend? That’s not just a scandal—it’s career collateral damage.
4. She’s More Interested in OnlyFans Than the Oscars.
If her PR arc was supposed to take her from yacht to YSL, but instead she’s pivoted into “content creator” mode and starts monetizing her body instead of the relationship? That’s game over.
She was hired to enhance the brand—not to make it look like you’re dating the algorithm’s favorite micro-influencer turned e-girl.
5. She Fumbles the Bag Publicly.
Maybe she gets caught arguing with fans in the comments. Maybe she soft-launches a real boyfriend mid-contract. Maybe she outs the PR contract itself. Or worst of all, she pulls a “go rogue” moment and tries to spin the relationship into a real one… without backup from the PR team.
Sloppy. Amateur. Fireable offense!
When To Pull the Plug
💥 IMMEDIATELY if:
• Explicit content leaks or resurfaces and her team fumbles containment.
• She monetizes herself independently in a way that directly clashes with your image.
• She embarrasses the actor in his own fanbase.
📆 Within 3 months if:
• She fails to build buzz around award season.
• No engagement metrics improve across either party’s socials.
• She’s still acting like a yacht girl, not a leading lady.
🕊️ Quietly end it with a soft breakup press release when:
• The public is already bored.
• The relationship is hurting more than it’s helping.
• He’s got a new project to launch and needs a new narrative.
Final Word: PR Isn’t Therapy, and You Can’t Fix Lazy
Hollywood runs on smoke and mirrors, but you need a willing magician. A PR partner who doesn’t show up, doesn’t post, and starts selling herself on platforms that scream desperation rather than allure? She’s not failing upwards. She’s just failing.
In this game, if you don’t graft, don’t grind, and don’t elevate the illusion—you get cut.
And no amount of blurry sunset thirst traps can save you.
This is what should happen but it proves that Chris Evans’s publicists are useless incompetent and he needs to sack them asap for continuing this charade!
#chris evans shitshow#chris evans pr#fuck around and find out#useless team#fuck caa#fuck narrative pr#it’s pathetic#hope it was worth it#lying to a government department#prison time#deportation#declined immigration#lies will catch up with you#boom#dgaf#hollywood is corrupt#hollywood is evil#worst pr ever.#hope you enjoy#lesson of the day

do you have a pattern for that black edwardian-esque shirtdress you made?
Hey all. So one of my sewing posts has gotten a lot of unexpected traffic in the past day. Whenever this happens, it's usually because the tumblr algorithm is pushing the post onto the dash of anyone who follows the sewing tag. So for everyone who is sick of the dress in question assaulting your dash for absolutely no reason, I am so sorry.
@curiouscalembour
Short answer: yes, scroll down to the photos below
Longer answer: kind of, not really, I mean I have a pattern but it comes with no instructions and you're going to enjoy it about as much as most people enjoy scaling up Patterns of Fashion patterns, maybe even less. Also, this is not a tutorial, just an approximate recounting of what I did. So, uh, good luck.
So here's the thing. I don't use commercial patterns because they often have me finishing seams with a serger which I don't own, or constructing garments with the modern bag-lining method which just breaks my brain. I'm also not a professional pattern maker and have no idea how to digitize patterns, so I do all my drafting with good old-fashioned pen and Christmas wrapping paper. I'm also entirely self-taught and learned everything I know about pattern alterations through osmosis from TheClosetHistorian's videos, so I don't know if anything I'm doing here is industry-standard.
I got the original base pattern by tracing a modern button-down shirt that already fits me, and then converting it to be back-closing, then slashing and spreading the pattern pieces to get the desired style lines and amount of pintuck/floof I wanted, and then adjusting the fit over a series of wearable mockups. (5, to be exact. I now have 5 of these things in my wardrobe, and only 1.5 of them are successful.)

So here's^ the yoke piece. Wait, why are there 3 of them? Why do 2 of the pieces have a weird diagonal line running through them with the grid lines all messed up? Because I suck at this, that's why. I frankensteined this pattern from a previous mockup pattern that had a narrower V-shaped yoke and needed to widen it. If you want to digitize this for yourself and clean it up, you'll have to take one of the faint blue squares (they're 1"x1") and make a grid and then overlay that on top of the photo of the pattern shape. The back yoke piece has 2 different grainlines marked because the fashion fabric has a bias pintucked yoke, so its grainline is going to be different from the lining. The fashion fabric is meant to be pintucked beforehand, and then the pattern pieces traced on top of the pintucked panel and then cut out. Oh, and all of these pieces are drawn net, so you'll need to add seam allowance all around. Except at the center back, apparently, where past-Me already added allowance for a bound edge.

The bodice front and back pieces^ are a little more straightforward. No pintucks needed here. The upper edges ease into the bottom edge of the yoke, and the bottom edges gather/tuck down into the waistband. The center front tucks you'll have to drape on a dress form (or on yourself - I pinned a strip of twill tape which was my skirt waistband around my waist and then pinned the excess front bodice fabric onto the twill tape, then covered the raw edges with a dip-waist belt). The center back is a lot shorter than the rest of the bodice because I have a swayback. I learned from a previous mockup that if I leave the back of the bodice longer, I have to constantly tug my shirttails back down into my skirt because it gradually gets untucked throughout the day. These pieces also need seam allowances added. I assembled my bodice by sandwiching the bodice front and back pieces between the fashion and lining layers of my yoke pieces, but it was a bit bulky dealing with the folded back pintucked parts of the yoke seam allowances, so you can finish your seams however you want.
I'm fairly short-waisted, so if you have a longer torso than mine, then you'll want to lengthen the pieces vertically. You want these pieces to be longer than your torso, so that they poof out a little like a subtle muffin top, to get that Edwardian silhouette where the waist looks tiny under the poof:

Here's^ part of the sleeve pattern. Again, sorry it's a chaotic mess. I had to use bits of scrap paper and cobble the pattern together. The pattern above is just the upper arm part of the sleeve and ends at the elbow. You'll have to extend about 10" all along the bottom edge to make the smocked part that covers the forearms. I only sewed the sleeve seams closed down to the elbow, then left the seam open from the elbow down to the wrist, so that it closed with rows and rows of buttons and loops. The smocking will give the lower sleeves a bit of stretch, so you might still be able to get your hand through even without the button closure.
This is also a net pattern so you should add seam allowances, but the sleeve is ridiculously puffy already, so forgetting the seam allowances here isn't a big deal.
(I call it my Elphaba shirtdress but it's not an actual replica of anything she wears in the movie. If you want your sleeve to look more like Elphaba's, which is puffy at the shoulders and elbows and fitted around her biceps and forearms, you can change where you add your rows of gathering/shirring.)

And finally, the collar piece. I'm not completely satisfied with how mine gapes at the center front (I think I need to contour/curve it a bit so that the top edge is narrower than the bottom edge), and I think the whole thing could be another inch taller all around, but this is the pattern piece I used to get my finished product. Notice that the back half of the collar slowly curves downward so that the center back is about 1/2" longer than the center front. That's on purpose. If you leave this little detail out, your collar will tilt backwards and make you feel like the front is trying to strangle you.
And because I'm nothing if not inconsistent, this piece features hem allowance already added to the top edge, but no seam allowance pre-added to the bottom edge where it attaches to my bodice yoke, and no allowance for overlap for the center back closure. So be very careful when making and marking your own copy and maybe be a little more consistent than I am?
Speaking of inconsistencies, remember how I drafted my yoke pieces to be cut from an already pre-pintucked panel of fashion fabric? Well, I didn't do that here for the collar. Instead, this collar piece is meant to be cut (on the fold) directly from flat fabric, and THEN pintucked (with lines of vertical pintucking perpendicular to the collar) after cutting. The pintucks are 1/4" deep, spaced 1/4" apart. So the pattern piece you cut out will pleat down to half its original length.
So this:
Becomes this:
Also, note on the pattern piece that I drew a horizontal line across the entire length, running parallel to and about 1.25" below the top edge? That's the point at which your pintucks stop. This gives the collar that ruffle you see at the top.

Okay so I think the anon that asked for cute moments yesterday probably did end up praying for me to have more time because European trains did what they do best and ruined my entire schedule so I got an entire hour that was normally gonna be spent on a lecture for free & I instead got to do the hardest part of making this post and transferred most the romantic reels to my laptop?
You can't see the fact that GD liked this stuff cuz Instagram still hates me, which is why I always tried including the name of the account so that you could find it, but if you ever need a link to a particular one cuz you can't believe it, I got ya (because I myself had to double check some likes, even tho I personally saved these reels, this man is something). And I have managed to set my perfectionism aside by convincing myself that I'm going to make this a trilogy instead of a duology cuz otherwise I'll keep delaying this (lol don't hold yer breath for part 3).
WARNING: INCREDIBLY CHAOTIC WRITING
I'll try and make everything as chronological as possible, but Instagram is a bish and using anything other than Whatsapp for messaging is SUCH a hassle, so the flow of time will be based upon certain events taking place rather than dates, especially since I needed to comb through 400 saved reels to find these :'D GD plz just publicly date perform with Tabi again so that I don't have to bother with this anymore~
a) Well, we got GD manifesting MAMA being a GTOP thing + manifesting T.O.P in all common (yes I paused at the T.O.P moments, Ji's man is fly, what can I SAY?):
(This one above made me crack up; the creator literally went all "Not even comparable to GD and Taeyang" and GD still liked this reel. Now I have an image of GD pushing YB under the bus and while holding hands with Tabi lulz).

b) Now here comes just SOME, not even all, of the BS I had to sit through while nobody believed me when I said that he was in love again because he was being romantic on main. This man is cheesy, cringey, insane, lovey dovey, crazy... *keeps waxing poetry for the rest of her life*. These likes are over the course of a few days? But lord he was in a MOOD.

instagram
Listen. This man is a teenage girl. He's a TEENAGE GIRLIE POP. Just ask @deliciouskamepi, I was losing my MIND over all these dumb af likes. MY DUDE. YOU'RE ON MAIN. COMME DES FUCKDOWN.
Okay so listen, it keeps going. Like, it keeps going on like this for multiple days and my algorithm still hasn't recovered completely to this day. Maybe I'll share more of Ji's romantic likes in part three (since I do wanna make a record of more things? And document this properly?). BUT LIKE. THIS IS SO SO BLATANT?? You wouldn't be liking any of this if you weren't in a romantic mood? I am losing my mind ALL over again TTOTT. Last like from this time period that I'll share (for now):
instagram
c) I like to call this section: Tabi stole GD's phone there is NO other explanation.
(He liked three different posts about Graffiti sofas.. KWON JIYONG!)
(What... what even IS this device for? Hmmm? GD I hate you.)
instagram
instagram
It keeps going btw. It just. F-cking kept on going... and ruined my algorithm, my poor poor algorithm that has just started recovering.. *is in TEARS recalling the panic attack I was having while it was like 5 A.M. because I was being delulu beyond belief imagining T.O.P using GD phone and the pass code still being the same and--*
d) We then had the space MV BS, blah blah blah, the jacket he was wearing was too big for him just look at how they don't sit right on his shoulders like at all, blah blah blah, a billion TOP references, blah blah blah blah blah, this man was on a personal mission to assassinate me.
Here's where it gets interesting tho. I believe GTOP had an argument, because GD's behaviour mirrored his 2014 break up behaviour.
So the last positive GTOP thing I saw before this BS started was him liking a post of 'Missing You' + confirming that he was copying Thanos from Squid Game, who was copying T.O.P from Zutter, during Good Day just before he went on his date with Kwanghee.
Because then came the bipolar stories (that I already covered and posted (except the Secret Admirer story)) + GHyuk content. I shall admit that I kinda zoned out and just despaired during this section and focused more on going through old content + trying (and failing) to start watching Good Day + irl stuff + fics since I was sick and cuz it was obvious to me that something had happened and I was upset their "tryst" had ended (So I thank Rachel for helping and keeping track of things for me) :"(((.

(GD you 1000% wrote that Soopalomi BS you are NOT slick hun).

instagram
Here's an anecdote: I was running on like 2 hours of sleep when GD posted this story. And since Korean is like my 6th language, I thought the song was saying "I MET someone else" in English, after which I saw the Palomi Insta stories. Yeahhh I was PISSED at Tabi for a while and thought it was over fr fr this time.
e) And then everything starts to heal again? Because GTOP is stronger than anything and everything? Like, GD goes on to post his collarbones via Palomi and likes posts that are calling him hot and several other things happen really (including this possibly being when Tabi unblocks GD?). But the point is, by the time Dae's concert comes up and goes on, everything is fine again, and we're all in on the fact that they're talking again starting from he posts 'High High' on main, likes that one post about how he "does everything intentionally" and "disappears" for 4 days, after which he's back to liking GTOP on main and proceeding to reference Tabi on main + other stuff I've covered these past few days.. :D Anyways here are some fun likes that I still wanna share.
Btw this ring like was after Dae's concert, just like the "Rockstar married to a supermodel" like (which you can find using the tag '#so be patient :")'), and it's 100% a reference to Tabi *sparkle sparkle*.
instagram
HE ACKNOWLEDGED TOP DOLL'S EXISTENCE OMG MY REAL OTP OF GDXTOP DOLL IS SAILING
G-Dragon is the definition of "I'm just a girl"
He wasn't tagged.. like at all.. sweetie pie I know you love your husband, never stop making it so obvious plz :"))
Love love love love love love (in Mac Miller's voice)
This post has so many quotes that give me feels, I wish I could link it, I SWEAR Tumblr and their 10 link policy is the definition of pain.
#part 2 of the tryst delulu#the first part is the previous tag but the number is 1 instead of 2#gtop#is real again#kwon jiyong: biggest shipper of them all#jiyong#gd#stop it gd#stupid cutie#I've been holding this in for so long.. sorry for my chaotic writing haha

When the x reader tag is clogged by asks, memes, text posts, and people complaining about fanfic authors/or a lack of content😭😭
And don’t get me started on finding dc fics that aren’t Batfamily here, feel like I gradually like Jason less and less each year, he’s so overrated…
Like where are the essentials?? The fluff, the angst, the in character smut??
If you don’t mind me asking, what characters are you talking about?? Because I feel like this could apply to a lot of the characters on your Masterlist 😔
(Sorry for so many yap asks in a row, I just get so fired up about this.)
(Also, if this somehow ends up in any character x reader tags, I’m so sorry. It wasn’t intentional. Tumblr’s algorithm just works in mysterious ways like that.)
(Added a cut for this post cuz it’s kinda long.)
It’s so fucking frustrating, good lord. Especially the posts complaining about a lack of content. Not only does it make the actual legitimate writing content harder to find, but it’s also just completely tone deaf the current harassment problem happening to fanfic writers. Like, don’t get me wrong, I’m also bummed out about the reader-insert drought, but as someone who’s been harassed off of previous writing blogs, you have to understand how those kinds of posts hit a sore spot for me.
Ah, yes. Btfm (derogatory) (<- and also written like that to avoid showing up in the Btfm tag). There’s honestly no way to talk about my grievances with Btfm as a concept without people thinking I’m a pretentious gatekeeper, so I’m not even gonna open that can of worms. Also, sorry to all my Jason-enjoyers out there. I love y’all, mwah. You guys are totally welcome in my humble abode. Your man, though? Yeah, no. I’m forcefully pushing him out the door with a broom. And with the current state of the Dick tag, it’s just given me more incentive to utterly despise that guy. Bro really comes in and fucks up everything, both in and out of the comics, LMAO. Kind of poetic, actually.
I made the OG post about this because of Dick. You’re totally right about it being applicable to a lot of characters on my masterlist (eye twitch), but it’s definitely the comic book men that are suffering the most. Weirdly enough, this isn’t as prominent of a problem with anime men and video game men. Like, there are still irrelevant posts in their tags, but those are spaced out enough with legitimate writing posts for it to be a nonissue. My poor Dick tag, though… if it’s not filtered out yandere Btfm or Jason posts, then it’s the memes/text posts/complaints issue or unspecified CW smut posts (I am 100% an advocate for writing whatever the hell you want, but PLEASE give the proper warnings beforehand; that includes any mentions of the reader’s gender).
I just… yeah. I’m taking one for the team and going back to totally SFW writing. We really are missing the essentials right now and it’s hurting the reader-insert ecosystem. I’ll drop the blog url when I finally post something.
(Also, before any of y’all translate this as me abandoning this blog, I’m not, don’t worry. I’m still working on shit here. Always have been. Nevah stopped the grind. I do want y’all to keep in mind that I write as a hobby, so there’s really no such thing as “a break” from this blog, and if anything, this blog is my “break” from life. A little treat from the horrors, if you will. Trust me, I wish I could post more often, but… nothing I can really do about real world responsibilities and stuff. Bwomp.)
But, yeah. You know what they say, be the change you wanna see in the world. I guess I owe it to the people after complaining so much about this. Lowkey, I think that’s also why the complaining posts rub me the wrong way. Why clog up the tags even further when you can take this as an opportunity to get a little creative? I don’t wanna write for people who just view me as a reader-insert ChatGPT, y’know?
^ And when I say this, I by no means wanna shame anyone from sending in asks. I have a lot of bangers in my inbox that I just haven’t had the time or motivation to sit down and think about (also, I really want my next writing post to be part 4 of my Older Brother series, so that’s what all of my energy has been going into recently). Y’all are such a great crowd, and I need you guys to understand how refreshing this is compared to my past experiences. Love each and every one of you, MWAH.

🧡 Tuesday Tips #12: 🧡 Be Brave, Be Weird, Be Unapologetically You | An Introduction to the Sovereign Web.

Today, I want to share something that means a lot to me - and maybe, it’ll mean something to you too.
Let’s talk about the Sovereign Web. Not just what it is, but what it feels like. What it stands for. Why it’s more than just a movement; it’s a quiet rebellion, a healing space, and a return to something deeply human.
When I first discovered the Small Web and similar movements, it felt like opening a window after being in a stuffy room for too long. Suddenly, there was fresh air. I saw creators sharing from the heart, websites that looked like people, not corporations. Messy, beautiful, honest. It reminded me of the early days of the internet, before algorithms, before ad trackers, before everything became a numbers game. And I thought, "yes. This is what I’ve been missing."
But as I stepped deeper into the community, I also noticed something else; something harder to talk about. Even in a space meant to be free and open, there were still unspoken expectations. Standards. A kind of “right way” to participate. Certain underlying systems. Certain philosophical leanings. Certain unwritten rules and peer pressures to conform to a certain way of doing things.
And hey, guidelines aren’t always bad. They can create structure, help us discover people with shared values, and help communities grow. But I started to see something that broke my heart a little: people being pushed out, dismissed, or even shamed for not fitting perfectly into that mold. Folks who didn’t code their own site from scratch. Folks who had different or unpopular ideas. Folks who showed up a little differently.
That’s not what the personal website building should be.
The whole point of reclaiming our digital spaces is to free ourselves from those systems that told us who to be and how to show up online. So why repeat those same patterns here?
That’s why I’m writing this today. To remind you, and anyone who needs to hear it, that you don’t need permission to take up space here. You don’t need to be perfect. You don’t need to follow some invisible rulebook or ideological guidelines to join the Sovereign Web.
If you’re here because you want to break free from surveillance capitalism, because you want to express yourself without filters, because you want to connect in real, soulful ways; no matter what your reason is for being here, you are already part of it.
If you’ve ever felt alienated, suffocated by the noise of the corporate web, or burned out trying to keep up with ever-changing algorithms… the Sovereign Web offers a way out. A different path. One where you set the pace. Where your site doesn’t have to “convert” or “perform.” It just has to feel like you.
And that’s what makes this so powerful.
You get to be the architect of your own corner of the internet.
Want to build a cozy blog that looks like your old 2000s diary? Do it.
Want to make a directory of every niche thing you love? Please.
Want to write long, thoughtful posts, or share poetry, or build a fictional world, or just post daily cat photos without worrying about if the algorithm will even let anyone see it? Yes, yes, yes!
You don’t need to justify your presence here.
You don’t need to fit a mold.
You don’t need to build a website that impresses other creators.
You just need to build something that feels right to you. That sparks joy for you.
A space you can come to each day that makes you feel good.
There’s something revolutionary about doing that in a world that constantly tries to flatten us into content machines. Choosing authenticity over virality, over branding, over complying with oppressive systems of censorship that stifle creativity is a form of quiet resistance. A return to self. A declaration that you matter as you are.
And listen; your site doesn’t have to be big. Your community doesn’t have to be massive. What matters is meaning. You never know who will stumble across your little corner and feel seen, comforted, inspired to begin their own journey. That in itself is such magic.
That’s the beauty of the Sovereign Web; it ripples. One site leads to another. One voice gives courage to the next.
So if you’ve been on the fence… if you’ve been wondering if this movement has room for you… if you’ve felt unsure, unseen, or like you don’t fit the “aesthetic” or mold of someone elses vision…
Please hear this: you belong.
You don’t have to earn your place here. You don’t have to follow all the same paths. You don’t have to agree with everyone. You just have to begin. Your website is your sovereignty on the web.
Let your heart lead. Let your weirdness shine. Let your story spill out in HTML or pixel art or essays or stickers or code or comic strips or even AI experimentation. Whatever form feels like home.
This is your sign to build your space and make it unapologetically yours.
The Sovereign Web isn’t about conformity, no hidden ideological agendas.
It’s about freedom. It’s about authenticity. It’s about connection.
In whatever way you choose to express it.
And it absolutely has a place for you. Whether you join an already present path, or choose to forge a brand new one and color outside the lines.
Don't be afraid to let your light shine. 🌟

Is now the WORST time to start a hypno themed content channel? (Yes, but do it anyway!)
So this is going to be a wild ride into hypnosis content creation, inspired a lot by my recent return to making it and how things have shifted over the years. This is in no way trying to deter people from making content, quite the opposite, I want to inspire others to take this as a sign to go for it if you've been thinking about it.
So WTF is going on online?
Welcome to YouTube a platform where anyone with some good ideas can start their own hypnosis channel. A place where you can be a spiral with text, an asmr creator moonlighting as a hypnotist, full cam video or an anime girl with a passion for mind breaking. It's actually wild how things have evolved and I love the shift in the medium. Back in the early days of hypnosis YouTube it really was the wild west, and a lot was able to slip by the community guidelines without a blink of an eye, and I should know, I really did push my luck with some of my own videos. YouTube isn't the only platform in this situation now where you can do hypnosis. You have here on tumblr, twitter (or x, make up your mind Elon), patreon, soundgasm, hypnohub, devient art, twitch. Name a platform or site and odds are someone is doing hypnosis there. This is great because it means the community is growing and the potential reach is expanding but it also means that working as a hypnosis creator is now harder than ever.
Back in 2017 I started a YouTube channel which I had no clue would as of today lead me to 95k subscribers and my entire income being funded through patreon. But if you look at my content from then to now there had to be some massive leaps to keep my name and my work in peoples attention span. Most content creators don't last years, I know I am an outlier and not a norm. This is due to the fact that over time tastes change, the algorithm changes to reflect this audience shift and what you did back then is just not good enough comapred to now. I had to be drastic to weather the storms of mental health, physical health, audience rention and analytics galore, branding shifts, shifts in community. It's all a lot to deal with but if you want to do this in any format you have to be ready to put yourself through it to be a success and even then I look at my work now and I don't think it's truly successful, yet.
I haven't made it and I don't think I ever will because that "made it" feeling, the top of the hill, is such a subjective metric that's hard to describe. Back in 2017 if you'd asked me, "Secret, when will you know that you are a great creator?" and I would have told you, "100k on YouTube, I want my silver play button." I still do want it, but not like I did before. Before it was clout to be quite honest. 100k means you are powerful enough to do what you want to do, to be able to reach brands, to make friends and collab with the bigger channels, to have people look at you and take you seriously as a creator. But none of that matters now. Subscribers are less important than ever. What matters now is attention. Retention. Clicks, engagement and views.
Now back in 2020 I was really rude. I made a video called Seduced into Obedience that blew up my channel. It got half a million views before YouTube made me take it down earlier this year. It's an achievement I could never expect to relive and it was all based on cheating the system. See I knew that back in "the day" people loved doing those audios on YouTube where you would "comment I am a good slave" in the comments. Knowing what I know about YouTube I decided to run a little test, an experiment on my channel. A risk that I thought just might pay off and if not, oh well, worth a try. I made an audio with the aim of making people like it, and comment in the comments. In the same style of those before me, I took a concept that was not often seen and honestly a little stupid, I made it and the worst part is, it worked. It got me seen by huge content creators in the mainstream who memed on me for it. It skyrocketted in views and kept going. It was my first video to hit 100k on YouTube and it is a moment that will never happen again. It was age restricted which killed the growth but the channel kept going and it wasn't a viral hit, but it was a dark horse that built my reputation on YouTube and then I went and changed everything.
Why change if it was going so well?
So one thing about the internet is you have to follow the success where it takes you. I could have made several more Seduced audios for YouTube and in fact I did do that for a little while but, tastes change. I changed. I stopped doing what I was doing and started being a vtuber, a faceless creator and I got into ASMR. At the time ASMR roleplaying was massive so this was a strategy I wanted to try, mix my love of acting and fantasy with my love of hypnosis see what happens. It worked pretty well as those videos also started doing pretty good and now I have a bunch of videos over 100K on YouTube. But this also trapped me in a box. Now I have had time to have a break and come back I noticed, YouTube especially is really hard on ASMR creators. It's hard on hypnosis creators. It's hard on creators because the platform is loaded with content. You have to be unique to stand out. You have to play to your audience. You have to gain people's attention through interest and ideas that are still fresh but not too specific to turn away the people who watch you. It's a battle to keep it going and it's one I have made many, many mistakes in. You have to give your audience the most, but not too much. You have to be avaible to people in the comments, but not too much. It's a fine balancing act and one that will drive you insane if you don't have a great support system.
So why am I sharing this with you?
I'm at a stage in my career as a creator where I am fearless to try new stuff. I am trying not to care about my reputation as a domme or as a person (more on that in a later essay, I'm sure). I'm trying to lead with my creative spirit and not be upset when a video doesn't "hit" or "pop off". I'm not going to leave a livestream anymore and cry because no one came to see me do a thing. I'm splitting my time between making music, gaming and creating fun things for me and making hypnosis and asmr roleplays for the people who want it and not being sad if my song doesn't go viral right away. Because recently after a death in my family, a health scare that nearly ended my career and the loss of a huge opportunity that turned out not to work for me, I have learned that life is too short not to make the fun things I want.
I want to share with content creators that doing this fulltime is scary and it is hard. It is tough to see posts do nothing. It's scary to see that platforms want to ban hypnokink. It's rough to have other creators disown you for being the wrong kind of degen. But if this is your passion and your dream to make this work, you can do it.
How do you get noticed in this challenging environment?
Lead with passion and your own point of view.
I'm not kidding here, it's the best and worst advice I can give you. Too different and you alienate people, not different enough and you aren't memorable. But you have to lead with passion. Passion carries through the screen. People can hear it in your voice, see it in your work. But outside of that, here are some other things you might want to think about if you are going to commit to making content of any kind:
Who is your target audience? If you say yourself, great! What do you like? What do you want? What are you goals with interacting with content? Follow that.
What is your brand (and can you say it in a single sentence) I'm literally not kidding. If you can't describe what you do in one sentence your branding needs work. Eg, hi I'm Secret and I'm a hypnotic nyanpire from New Zealand.
If someone was to see you on the internet, what should they remember? The other day I got a great comment on a piece of art I commed, "I saw this and I immediatly thought of Secret Subject, and then I looked and saw it was posted by her", your branding should be that strong because people see thousands of posts a day. What makes you different? For me, it's purple. It's goth mommy. It's cats and bats. Find your vibe and own it. Do not be afraid to double down and make your entire thing about it. Everytime I get art made, I make it about my character and it must have purple hair because that keeps the brand strong in someone's mind.
What is your purpose? For me without a goal of "this is why I make the content I do" I would be lost and unmotivated. Find your why and write it down, put a post-it on the wall. Tell a friend. Whatever you need to remind you, this is why I do what I do. When times are hard or you run out of steam/ideas go back to this and really hone into what it is you want to say.
Own your mistakes and bad days. We all have them. That thing didn't do well. That video wasn't great. There was a mistake in this thing or I accidentally made a tweet that went viral for all the wrong reasons. It happens. Be honest with yourself but exercise kindness. Own your mistakes and show people you are human even if you play as an anime vampire catgirl online.
Make connections for the right reasons. As an ex-vtuber I can tell you it's hard when people use you or befriend you "for something". It's okay to build business connections and make this all about business but be honest with people, it does go a long way. Have respect for people who are fellow creators and if you seriously are looking for "friends" that's fine but also know that being friends and colleagues in content are not the same and the lines get very blurry at times.
Be persistant instead of consistent. You've probably been told "constancy is key" a bunch here, hell, you may have heard it from me. I used to teach this as part of my content class at cons but it's not as important as just sticking with it. We are not robots. We can't just all schedule tweets to go out perfectly timed and are all amazingly funny all the time. You need time to come up with quality so take it, but do not give up. If you give up and throw in the towel often you won't make it. Especially on social media. Taking a break or hiatus is fine, I just had one myself, but if you everytime it gets too hard say "I'm done" and then come back on a cycle you are just hurting yourself.
Perfection is a creativity killer. Just post that thing. Sometimes just posting that thing will lead to a new classic for the community.
Time to make your mark
I'm still grinding, we all are still out here making it happen in our own ways. I am so excited to watch the next gen of hypnosis creators florish and thrive. I am a huge simp for my friends who take on this challege because they all work so hard and have so much passion for this weird niche kink we all have. I am in awe of people who feel the fear of this journey and keep doing it. I'm in awe of people who started before me and are still here doing it, because it is not easy and I am over pretending it is.
We need diversity in content and especially in hypnosis kink. I am a person from New Zealand, a small country where a lot of us tend not to make a big splash in the world. People like me don't get the kind of platform I am lucky and insanely grateful to have. I encourage you to take your point of view as a kinkster, and make your mark on the world too. Play safe, care about your content and do good. Remember that you don't need thousands of dedicated fans to be popular and you can be someones favorite regardless of how "seen" your work is.

I still sit here and ponder on this scene now and again.
Given how much we've come to learn about Zenless now days. The original task that the Cunning Hares took as a job had to be huge for the behind the scenes. Naturally since this involves the debut of Fairy joining Phaethon. But, there's this detail of the barrage of TVs everywhere that really sets in motion another detail.
This some attempted offshoot of Carole Anna's work. Given that a Hollow did just happen to combust into being here, and reaching a dangerous high off the cuff? The mission here always reeked of suspicion here.
Now I don't imagine that Nicole would up and happily just work for the Institute. Similar to a lot of connections we see her have, it's likely someone she does favor in there, at least enough to pick up this task. Let's keep in mind that this is for Rosetta Data, basically an algorithm so potent that you can just travel in the Hollows like its your damn backyard.
Part of me wants to picture that this person is in the same vein of big leagues as the 'Before Miracles began' trailer.
The HDD system also have many high hands. (Yeah, we're talking about TOPS here) actively trying recreate Carole's old work as well. It's actually in the event with 'Chaotic Fried Rice' aka Astra Yao we learn a tidbit on this.
This was actually her this whole time. She utilized this as a means to sneak around undercover. (To her lucky success.) It's not only potential success with the HDD itself, but the program (to a less successful degree) that actively replicated the system Carole left behind for Phaethon to utilize. To get this far reflects a level of commitment they want to outright monopolize in my book.
A plan they often enjoy employing is 'limit testing' measures through the usage of events or 'kindnesses' they dole out. This way they can come to grasp information for their privatized usage. Case and point? We learn outright the whole fiasco here (since the HIA found itself funded by TOPS for this project was this.) Yet it's the scale of how far that very information goes.
It can outright copy someone's DNA structure down to the molecule which was the pre-req for even undoing Miyabi's sheathe upon Tailless. Authentication like that even finds itself useless once (and its morbidly hilarious to think on it like this) your personal data finds itself stolen. In terms of biological structure and combat experience, they have a great amount of details on her now.
Just as an extra fun tidbit in 1.4. This new plan to assassinate Miyabi was one of TOPS/The Order many attempts to outright take her out. The Virtual mayhem story, using information on Tailess and making an etheric agent to make it freak out in the Outer Ring, to outright agitating Tailless to the point she'd become a mass murderer during Bringer's speech presentation.
And that in itself all began with a story you see in her trailer. When she, Yanagi and Harumasa all stood up against a TOPS consultant that just wanted to nuke a portion of the city, primarily for a business advantage.
I'm really digging to how a lot of these pieces are gradually coming to the light, the more we come to learn about more of the factions. Makes me really excited to see where the Obol squad, and the defense force's war in general is all about.
Leaning back to the original point however! We've come to learn just how valuable Phaethon's technology really is. They're protagonist that don't work with amnesia, but really requiring a specialized circle of trust for their wider goals at hand. While yes, protags, seeing the motive and how they push towards uncovering that truth towards the past has me intrigued. Seeing how their teacher; Carole Arna used to be a member of TOPS, it's likely some gritty circumstances her breakthroughs wound up leading too.
So much so they actively had a staged invasion by The Order performed to just keep her under wraps, that's how close she was to the old possibilities of the ancient civilization.
#| OOC Musings#| Zenless Stuff#tag needs some more filling!#but also the lore nut mode is activating a lil bit

Expert EXPOSES Simple Solutions to India's Fake News Epidemic
Hey everyone, let’s talk about something that’s been bothering me for a while now. We live in a world where information spreads faster than wildfire, and with that comes the responsibility to sift through what’s real and what’s not. But here’s the kicker: when it comes to Bangladesh, there’s a wave of misinformation and propaganda that’s making the rounds, particularly from Indian sources. And it’s time we address it head-on. First off, I want to reach out to my fellow Bangladeshis, whether you’re living in Bangladesh or part of the diaspora in North America, Australia, or Europe. You have a voice, a platform, and the power to make a difference. It’s crucial that we stand up against the fake news that seeks to undermine our identity and our nation. We can no longer be passive consumers of information. We need to actively engage on social media, countering false narratives and sharing the truth about our beloved Bangladesh. Think about it: how often do we see misleading headlines or distorted facts about our country? It’s alarming, and it’s not just a matter of pride; it affects our global standing, our relationships, and it can even impact our economy. So, I’m calling on you—yes, you! Use your social media platforms to share authentic stories, highlight our achievements, and educate others about the realities of Bangladesh. Let’s create a narrative that reflects who we truly are, not the caricature that some choose to paint. And to the Google developers and employees out there, I want to address you directly. Your algorithms shape the information landscape. They determine what people see when they search for news about Bangladesh. If Indian news outlets are dominating the results with misleading information, it’s time to reevaluate how that’s happening. We need to ensure that diverse perspectives are represented and that the truth about Bangladesh isn’t buried under a mountain of propaganda. It’s not just about Bangladeshis; it’s about the integrity of information worldwide. We rely on platforms like Google and Facebook to provide us with accurate information. So, I urge the teams behind these platforms to take a stand against fake news. Implement stricter measures to identify and mitigate the spread of misinformation, especially when it comes to sensitive topics that can incite division or misunderstanding among communities. We all have a role to play in this. Whether you’re a Bangladeshi citizen or part of the global community, we can’t afford to sit back and let false narratives dictate our story. Let’s come together as a united front, leveraging our collective voices to drown out the noise of misinformation. So, let’s get active! Share this message, engage with others, and let’s make sure that the truth about Bangladesh is heard loud and clear. Remember, we are the authors of our own narrative. It’s time to reclaim our story and push back against the tide of fake news and propaganda. Together, we can make a difference. Let’s stand up, speak out, and show the world the real Bangladesh.

do you not think following accounts like that is giving them a bigger platform to spew their beliefs which can be deemed wrong or offensive though? If youre following people who openly vote trump then okay yes you may not support that but youre only allowing their content to grow and it probably makes them think they have more support to spread their message to. I understand where you are coming from, I just think that following people, in particular controversial people, does speak volumes about the media you are wanting to consume
I'm not gonna lie, in this day and age when social media works the way it does, not really... Like I think sharing their posts/liking their posts is "encouraging" but I think following an account doesn't mean much anymore. Someone like Joe Rogan would spew his shit to 5 or 5 million people... I've watched that man do wank standup to a room full of bored people and still make a rape joke with his full chest, yeah the follows will boost his ego and give him a half truth way of being like "all these people follow me so I must be right" but the whole world knows just cause all these people follow someone doesn't make them "right".
idk what it's like for you but scrolling my timeline I get shown content from about 20 of the accounts I follow, and my close friend's stories come up at the top... There are accounts I'm following that I NEVER see on my timeline... And i guess it's because we're all following such a high volume of accounts now unlike how it used to be.
I'd say as well I think we all choose to view the content we see through our own lens, yes I may choose to watch an Andrew Tate video (just an example I don't follow Andrew Tate lol) but that doesn't mean I'm then taking in his beliefs and choosing to believe them... I'm critiquing them, laughing at them, talking to my friends about how fcking scary he is etc... That's what I mean by like you don't know whether someone is hate following or like following to vaguely keep track of things etc... You also don't know how long someone's been following someone or whether they even still know they are following someone... Maybe I'm giving Sam too much credit here but before Joe Rogan was the way he is now, he was just some "dumb idiot" asking "smart people" to explain interesting things so that idiots can understand them... The guy used to appeal to a lot of "good" men...
There's also the fact that everything is so algorithmic anyway and regardless of whether a man follows Joe Rogan, he will get pushed him every day. Me and my friends quite like to play a "how many clicks" game on YouTube of how many clicks on random videos before you get given Andrew Tate or Joe Rogan or whatever, my male friends lose so fast and it's literally just cause YouTube knows they're male, 20-30 and into football.
Like I do understand what you mean, but I don't think that following someone is the same as giving them your mark of approval, and that ultimately if you're looking at who he follows, you can only make assumptions about his reasons for that and not actually know the full story. I think it's just good to treat strangers with the nuance you might allow your own mates... Like I said, if he was my mate I'd rip into him for the Joe Rogan follow, I'd call him a podcast bro, ask him if he just really fuckin loves Punk IPA or whatever haha... But I'd know the wider context and I'd know what he was like as an actual person so I wouldn't be like "this follow here means you are actually immoral and bad bye"
Again sorry for talking so much, I guess I just think it's a complicated subject and needs nuance so I can't answer in like two sentences cause it just doesn't cover everything haha.
Edit: just to clarify... I think it's good to call your mates out about things like that but I don't think it's helpful for large groups of strangers on the internet to all start shouting at someone at once about something, cause it's overwhelming and like just proven not to actually work to change views. So often the "angry mob" thing only ever seems to further push people on the absolute fringe of a political idea right into the heart of the extremists because whilst everyone on the outside is telling someone they are stupid/evil the cult with the extremist views are saying "see everyone hates you for expressing your own opinion, this world has gone mad, come to us we'll validate and protect you..."

Changing the Visual Experience: The Game-Changing Power of iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer
Have you ever watched an old video, grainy and pixelated, and wished you could turn back time to capture it in crystal-clear clarity? What if I told you that you can essentially do just that, without a time machine? Enter iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer, a piece of tech wizardry that's turning the content creation world on its head. But is it really as revolutionary as they say? Let's explore in and take a closer look.

You might be thinking, "Sure, upscaling video resolution isn't new. What's the big deal?" Ah, but iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer isn't just about upscaling. It's about the seamless, near-magical change that happens when AI meets your footage. This tool doesn't just stretch pixels; it rebuilds the video from the ground up, enhancing details, smoothing out the motion, and yes, even upscaling it to stunning high-resolution formats like 4K at 30FPS without any quality loss.
Now, you're probably curious about how this works. Well, without getting too technical, iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer uses advanced AI algorithms to analyze every frame of your video. It fills in the gaps, predicts what should be there based on what it already knows, and voilà, you have a video that looks like it was shot on a camera far beyond your budget.
But let's pause for a moment. Isn't this just another tool that's going to make everyone's content look the same? I mean, sure, your old vacation footage looks better, but isn't originality what makes content unique? A fair point, but iFoto isn't about uniformity; it's about potential. It gives creators the tools to raise their work, to bring their vision to life in ways they never thought possible.
Imagine you're a filmmaker with a passion project shot on a shoestring budget. Your footage is raw, it's authentic, but it lacks the polish of big-budget productions. With iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer, you can take that raw footage and give it the visual pop it deserves, without sacrificing the heart of your story. It's like having a secret weapon in your creative arsenal.
Now, some might argue that this kind of technology is just creating a level playing field, making it easier for anyone to produce high-quality content. But isn't that the beauty of technology? It democratizes the tools of creation, allowing anyone with a passion and a vision to share their story with the world. iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer isn't just enhancing videos; it's enhancing dreams.
Of course, no tool is without its critics. Some say that relying too much on AI to enhance our work makes us lazy, that we should be striving for perfection in the initial capture. But isn't it also about pushing the boundaries of what's possible? If we limit ourselves to what we can achieve in the moment, without the aid of technology, where does that leave innovation?
So, what's the real takeaway here? iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer is not just a tool; it's a testament to human ingenuity. It's a reminder that we don't have to settle for what is, that we can always strive for what could be. And in doing so, we might just change the way we create and consume content forever.
The next time you find yourself looking at a video that's less than perfect, consider this: What if you could make it perfect? With iFoto's Video Quality Enhancer, the future of content creation is not just about the videos we capture, but how we choose to enhance and share our stories. Are you ready to take your content to the next level?

When Cells Go Viral: The Wild World of Bio-Inspired Video Art (And Why Nature Might Sue for Copyright)
Ladies, gentlemen, and sentient houseplants of dubious origin, gather 'round! Today, we're diving headfirst into the chaotic cauldron where biology high-fives art in the most spectacularly weird ways imaginable. Yes, we're talking about how artists pilfer Mother Nature's secret design plans to create video art that'll make your eyeballs do the Macarena!
Imagine, if you will, a world where sunflower spirals and snail shells are the VIP guests at an art gala, sipping on quantum cocktails and debating the merits of string theory in Esperanto. That's right, folks—natural patterns aren't just for making your Instagram feed look pretentiously profound; they're the unsung superheroes of visual media!
Take the Fibonacci sequence, for example. This sneaky little number pattern is nature's way of showing off, like that one friend who casually mentions they ran a marathon while juggling flaming swords. From the swirls of hurricanes to the arrangement of leaves, Fibonacci is everywhere, silently judging your inability to solve basic algebra.
But wait! There's more! Let's not forget about phyllotaxis—the study of how plants decide to organize their bits and bobs. It's like botanical Tetris but with fewer existential crises. Artists latch onto these patterns faster than a cat pounces on a laser pointer, incorporating them into animations that make you question whether you're watching a video or experiencing a mild hallucination.
Now, let's get microscopic—literally. Cellular automata and growth patterns are the VIP backstage passes to the concert of life. They're the reason why snowflakes refuse to conform to societal standards of uniformity. Artists use these concepts to create visuals that are so trippy, even a kaleidoscope would say, "Dude, dial it back a notch."
But how do these creative wizards actually incorporate biological forms into their work? Well, it's not by smearing algae on a canvas and calling it a day, although that would be eco-friendly. They use techniques ranging from generative algorithms to good old-fashioned animation, crafting visuals that make your brain cells do synchronized swimming routines.
For instance, consider the animation "Nature's Algorithmic Groove"—a hypothetical masterpiece where fractal patterns dance to dubstep remixes of whale songs. It's both a visual feast and an auditory enigma, leaving audiences both dazzled and mildly concerned for the artist's sanity.
Speaking of examples, let's mosey over to some real-world case studies before I get carried away and start inventing more nonsensical art pieces. Remember the video installation "Cellular Dreams" by that artist who probably drinks kale smoothies infused with rocket fuel? It's a mesmerizing display of cellular mitosis projected onto the side of a building, making passersby question whether they accidentally wandered onto the set of a sci-fi movie.
This brings us to the artistic and scientific merits of such works. On one hand, they're pushing the boundaries of visual media, making even the most stoic observers emit a whispered "Wow" (or possibly "What the heck did I just watch?"). On the other hand, they're bringing scientific concepts to the masses without the need for stuffy lab coats or the risk of accidentally creating a mutant fungus.
Now, let's talk about the educational impact because, believe it or not, we're not just here for the memes and mind-bending visuals. Using art to teach biological concepts is like sneaking vegetables into a chocolate cake—people don't realize they're consuming something nutritious until it's too late. These science and art videos are the Trojan horses of education, and we're all willing participants in this delightful deception.
By enhancing appreciation for nature through art, we're essentially rebranding biology from "that subject with all the Latin words" to "the coolest thing since sliced bread decided to become toast." People start to notice the intricate patterns in a simple leaf or the mathematical perfection in a pinecone, all because some artist decided to make a video that looks like a screensaver on steroids.
But let's not ignore the technological integration that makes all this possible. Bio-inspired algorithms in video creation are like the secret sauce in your grandma's legendary spaghetti recipe—complex, a little mysterious, and absolutely essential. Advances in microscopy and imaging allow artists to capture the tiniest details, so now we can all enjoy high-definition footage of amoebas doing whatever it is amoebas do in their spare time.
However, with great power comes great responsibility—or so said a certain uncle in a superhero movie before meeting an unfortunate end. The representation of life and nature in art raises ethical and philosophical considerations. Are we honoring nature or exploiting it? Is the artist's role to merely reflect environmental awareness, or should they be out there hugging trees and adopting pandas?
Some argue that by turning biological patterns into art, we're commodifying nature, like selling bottled water labeled "Unicorn Tears." Others believe it's a celebration, a way to bring attention to the wonders of the natural world without resorting to guilt-tripping people with pictures of sad polar bears.
As we pirouette towards the conclusion of this rollercoaster ride, let's acknowledge the ongoing dialogue between biology and art. It's a conversation filled with inside jokes, awkward pauses, and the occasional interpretive dance. The potential for future exploration is as vast as the universe—or at least as vast as the number of streaming platforms you have to subscribe to in order to watch all your favorite shows.
In this ever-evolving video gallery of artistic expression, biological patterns and forms serve as both muse and medium. Artists will continue to draw inspiration from the complexity and beauty of life, from the spiraling galaxies of fern fronds to the labyrinthine networks of neurons firing in our brains as we try to make sense of it all.
So, dear students, the next time you see a piece of video art that looks like it was made by a computer having an existential crisis, take a moment to appreciate the biological inspiration behind it. Who knows? Maybe you'll be inspired to create your own masterpiece, or at the very least, you'll have a fun fact to drop at parties to make yourself seem infinitely more interesting.
And if nature does decide to sue for copyright infringement, well, at least the court case will be one heck of a spectacle.

How Managed IT Services Are Transforming Claims Processing for Insurers

Let's face it: dealing with insurance claims is as much fun as a root canal. At least with a root canal, you're knocked out for most of it. Insurance claims? Not so much. It's a paper-pushing, number-crunching nightmare that can make even the most patients want to pull their hair out. But what if I told you there's a way to make claims processing less painful than a trip to the DMV? Enter stage left: managed IT services for insurance. Yeah, it sounds about as exciting as watching paint dry. But stick with me here because this tech stuff changes the game in ways that'll make your accountant dance happily. The Old Way: When Claims Were a Pain in the Assets Remember the good old days? You know, when processing a claim meant: Drowning in a sea of paperwork Playing phone tag with clients (and losing every time) Manually entering data until your fingers go numb Praying to the insurance gods that you didn't make a typo Yeah, those were the days. Like getting a root canal without anesthesia. Fun times. The New Hotness: Managed IT Services to the Rescue Now, let's talk about how managed IT services for insurance are flipping the script faster than you can say "deductible." 1. Automation: Because Robots Don't Need Coffee Breaks Imagine a world where claims get processed faster than you can say "fender bender." With automation tools, that's not just a pipe dream. It's reality. Intelligent Forms: No more squinting at handwritten claims. Digital forms that auto-populate? Yes, please. AI-Powered Processing: Algorithms that can spot patterns and flag potential fraud. It's like having a super-smart intern who never sleeps. Workflow Automation: Claims get routed to the correct department faster than your lunch order at the drive-thru. 2. Cloud Storage: Because Filing Cabinets Are So Last Century Cloud storage isn't just for your vacation photos anymore. It's revolutionizing how insurers handle data. Accessibility: Access claims from anywhere. Beach-side claims processing, anyone? Scalability: Growing faster than a teenager? Your storage can keep up. Disaster Recovery: Because Mother Nature doesn't care about your paperwork. 3. Data Analytics: Turning Numbers into Knowledge Big data isn't just a buzzword. It's your new best friend in the claims world. Predictive Analytics: Spot trends before they become problems. It's like having a crystal ball but with more math. Risk Assessment: Price policies more accurately. Your actuaries will love you for it. Customer Insights: Understand your clients better than they understand themselves. 4. Mobile Integration: Because Life Happens on the Go In a world where people can order pizza with a tweet, shouldn't they be able to file claims just as easily? Mobile Apps: Let clients file claims with a few taps. It's like Tinder but for insurance (and less disappointing). Real-Time Updates: Keep clients in the loop without playing phone tag. Geolocation Services: Verify claim locations faster than you can say "GPS." 5. Enhanced Security: Because Hackers Love Insurance Data Too With significant data comes great responsibility. Managed IT services for insurance don't just process claims; they lock them down tighter than Fort Knox. Encryption: Your client's data should be as secure as your secret cookie stash. Compliance Management: HIPAA, GDPR, and whatever other alphabet soup regulations come your way. Threat Detection: Spot the bad guys before they can say "data breach." The Bottom Line: It's Not Just Faster, It's Better Now, I know what you're thinking. "Sure, this all sounds great, but what's the catch?" Well, hold onto your actuarial tables because here's the kicker: Faster Processing Times: Claims that used to take weeks now take days or even hours. Improved Accuracy: Robots don't get tired or distracted by cat videos. Higher Customer Satisfaction: Happy clients mean fewer headaches and more referrals. Cost Savings: Efficiency isn't just suitable for your stress levels and bottom line. Real Talk: The Challenges of Change Okay, let's take a breather from all this tech-utopia talk. Implementing managed IT services for insurance isn't all rainbows and unicorns. There are challenges: Initial Costs: Good tech isn't cheap. But neither is falling behind. Training: Your team needs to learn new tricks. And no, "turn it off and on again" doesn't count. Integration: Making new systems play nice with old ones can be like herding cats. But here's the thing: the benefits far outweigh the hurdles. It's like going to the gym. Sure, it's painful at first, but what about the results? It's worth every drop of sweat. The Future is Now (Or at Least Next Tuesday) Look, the insurance world isn't exactly known for being cutting-edge. We're not exactly the cool kids at the tech party. But have you managed IT services for insurance? They're changing that faster than you can file a whiplash claim. The question isn't whether you should embrace these changes. It's whether you can afford not to. Because while you're still pushing papers, your competitors are pushing boundaries. So, what's it going to be? Are you ready to step into the future of claims processing? Or will you stick with the old way and hope for the best? Remember, in the world of insurance, hope is not a strategy. But have you managed IT services? That's a game-changer. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must file a claim. With my smartphone. While sipping a latte. Because that's how we roll in the future of insurance. Welcome to the party, pal. Read the full article

Is Marketing with Video Right for My Business? Here’s Why the Answer is Yes!
In the modern world of business, where attention spans are shorter than ever, video marketing is a game-changer. You've probably heard this buzzing around the digital space, and maybe you're wondering, "Is video marketing really worth it for my business?" Spoiler alert: The answer is almost always a resounding YES! Here’s why.
1. Video Marketing Grabs Attention—Fast
Let’s face it, we live in a scroll-happy world. People’s thumbs are constantly flicking through endless streams of content, and unless you’ve got something eye-catching, your business message might be lost in the noise. This is where video shines. Studies show that videos are the most likely content to stop a scrolling thumb dead in its tracks.
Whether it’s a vibrant explainer video, a slick product demo, or a relatable customer testimonial, videos grab attention immediately. Why? Because we’re visual creatures. Our brains process visuals 60,000 times faster than text! So, if you want to deliver a compelling message in seconds, video is your best bet.
2. Videos Build Trust and Credibility
People want to do business with brands they trust, and guess what? Video helps you build that trust. Why? It’s more personal. Videos give your brand a human face and voice, which helps build a connection with your audience. Customers can see and hear your message, making it more relatable and trustworthy.
For example, imagine potential customers watching a behind-the-scenes video of your team working on a project. This pulls back the curtain, showing authenticity, and making your business feel more real and relatable.
3. Videos Boost Engagement Like Crazy
Social media algorithms love videos. Platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok prioritize video content because they know people engage with it more. Videos drive more comments, likes, shares, and conversations than any other type of content. This means your brand’s message is not only seen but spread like wildfire across networks.
In fact, research shows that video posts on social media generate 48% more views than posts with just images. If you’re not utilizing video, you’re leaving engagement on the table!
4. Marketing Videos Improve Your SEO
If you’re looking to rank higher on Google, video can give you that extra push. Google owns YouTube, which means incorporating video into your strategy can do wonders for your search rankings. A well-optimized video on your site (or even better, a YouTube channel) increases the chances of your business showing up on that coveted first page.
And it’s not just about being found on Google. Videos also keep visitors on your site longer. This longer “dwell time” signals to search engines that your content is valuable and relevant, giving you a better chance to climb the search results ladder.
5. Convey Complex Information Quickly
Explaining a complicated product or service can feel like a daunting task, especially in a crowded digital marketplace. But video has the power to break it all down quickly and clearly. Whether it’s a product demo, an explainer video, or a step-by-step tutorial, video simplifies complexity.
People are more likely to understand and remember information presented in a visual format. So, if your business sells something that needs explaining, video is your secret weapon to making the complex seem simple.
6. Videos Increase Conversions
Let’s talk about the bottom line: money. At the end of the day, video isn’t just about engagement or views—it’s about driving conversions. Video can increase conversion rates on landing pages by 80% or more. That’s a jaw-dropping number, right?
How does it work? By appealing to emotions. Videos can evoke feelings like excitement, urgency, or trust, which encourages viewers to take action. Whether it’s signing up for a newsletter, purchasing a product, or booking a consultation, video helps nudge customers through the decision-making process.
7. Videos Are Versatile
One of the best things about video marketing is its flexibility. You can create different types of videos depending on your business goals:
Brand Awareness: Showcase your brand’s story and mission in a quick, engaging format.
Product Demonstrations: Highlight the features and benefits of your products in action.
Customer Testimonials: Build credibility by showing real customers talking about how great your business is.
Tutorials: Educate your audience on how to use your products or services, establishing your business as an industry leader.
The beauty of video is that you can use it across multiple channels—your website, social media, email campaigns, paid ads, and even in presentations. It’s the marketing tool that keeps on giving.
8. Mobile Users Love Video
Mobile isn’t the future; it’s the now. More than 70% of all online video views happen on mobile devices. If your audience is constantly on their phones (hint: they are), video is the format they want to consume.
Short, snappy videos are especially effective on mobile, where users are looking for quick entertainment or information. This aligns perfectly with modern user behavior, giving your business an edge in reaching today’s mobile-first consumers.
9. Stay Competitive
Let’s be real—your competitors are probably already using video. In fact, a staggering 86% of businesses use video as a marketing tool, according to Wyzowl’s State of Video Marketing report. If you’re not jumping on this trend, you’re at risk of falling behind.
But here’s the good news: There’s still plenty of room to stand out! With the right approach, you can produce videos that are unique, creative, and true to your brand, putting you miles ahead of the competition.
10. Video is More Affordable Than Ever
Gone are the days when producing a high-quality video required a massive budget. Today, video marketing is more affordable than ever. With advances in technology and a range of video production services (including ones tailored for businesses like yours), creating polished, professional videos doesn’t have to break the bank.
From animated explainers to live-action shoots, there’s a solution that fits your budget and needs. And when you consider the return on investment, it’s clear that video marketing offers serious bang for your buck.
So, Is Video Marketing Right for Your Business?
In a word: Yes. Whether you’re a small local business or a large corporation, video marketing is a versatile, engaging, and effective tool to grow your brand. It grabs attention, builds trust, boosts engagement, and most importantly, drives conversions.
Still unsure? Start small. Test the waters with a single video and see how your audience responds. Once you see the results (hint: they’ll be good), you’ll wonder why you didn’t jump on the video bandwagon sooner.
Ready to take the plunge? Let’s get rolling! Your audience is waiting, and they want video.
Now is the time to invest in video marketing. If you're unsure where to start or need help creating videos that truly stand out, our video production team at New World Productions is here to help! Let's bring your vision to life and take your marketing to the next level.
