Olive and Logan for the OC ship game? <3

i'm gonna do the first 20 questions for rn, so if you'd like to send questions 21-50 again for a later date feel free to!

1. Describe their first date.

their first date is mid s3! they decide to try and keep things casual, so they go to the movies and then go to a pizza place nearby for a late lunch. they have their third kiss afterwards. 

2. Who wakes up early/Who sleeps in late? 

logan is a perpetual early riser. he only ever sleeps in if he’s really feeling like shit. olive on the other hand could sleep her fucking life away if someone let her. 

3. What was their first impression of each other? 

olive thinks he’s a poser, and doesn’t understand the boy band hype. logan think she’s pretty but intimidating. 

4. Who initiates affection? Why does the other not initiate affection as much? 

logan! he’s a cuddly guy, and he likes being affectionate with the people around him and especially with olive. olive doesn’t hate pda, she just never really grew up seeing it, so she’s kind of like oh ew at first. 

5. Do they argue often? If so, what do they argue about?

not really. olive’s working really hard on controlling her anger and her triggers, and logan isn’t typically a confrontational person. when they do fight, it’s usually over jealousy. olive still isn’t the biggest fan of camille and logan staying friends after they break up for good in early s3, and even though she tells logan that it’s fine, he can tell that it’s still bugging her. their biggest fight to this day, was logan accusing her of being jealous of camille and her denying it. 

6. How do they make up/apologize after an argument? 

logan usually goes for saying that he’s sorry and then trying to find something to make olive feel better, ie after the big camille fight where they almost broke up, he gives olive one of his t-shirts so she can sleep in/with it while the boys are on their summer tour. olive cuts up fruit and makes snack trays and just gifts them to logan. she’s not really a words girl. 

7. How often do they say “I love you”?

pretty often. logan says it first, but olive says it more frequently, bc as stated above, she’s not a words girl, so she knows it means a lot to logan when she does say the words. she’s also more likely to say it just randomly while logan says it in very pointed moments. 

8. What do they love most about the other? Why?

logan loves olive’s passion and her loyalty. he also really really loves her hair. olive loves logan’s intelligence and how self assured he is about it. she also really loves his eyes, especially when he looks at her in a certain way. 

9. What do they dislike most about the other? Why?

logan dislikes how olive will retreat into herself when she thinks she’s fucked something up. he just wants to communicate with her. olive hates how stubborn logan can be, and how he sometimes will outright ignore her opinion because it’s “wrong” 

10. Do they share any hobbies or interests? How do these things bring them together? 

music i guess? they both like a lot of the same indie bands, and they enjoy sharing new songs. they also both like reading, though olive is more fiction while logan’s a non-fiction dude. 

11. How do they feel about nicknames/pet names? If they like them, what pet names do they use? If they hate them, why do they feel that way? 

olive initially hates nicknames, but she hears logan call her his sweetheart once and is like okay maybe i get why people like this. logan’s nicknames for her are sweetheart, liv, ollie and baby. olive’s are babe, bro and dude. what? bro is totally a pet name. 

12. Do they have a difficult time when separated from each other, or are they fairly independent? 

yes. olive knows it’s part of the deal of dating a band member, but it still sucks. she has a couple of shirts and sweaters of his that she sleeps in, and they facetime a lot. 

13. How do they keep in contact when they’re apart? Do they write letters, talk on the phone, or simply wait out the time?

14. Do they enjoy PDA, or are they more private with affection? 

logan’s a pda guy. olive is okay with it, but she gets flustered easily. however, in her more risky moments ie post s4 when they are in college, she has been known to climb into logan’s lap for a kiss or to give him a solid makeout session before he has to go onstage. it becomes an ongoing joke for the btr boys that logan can’t sing as well if his tongue isn’t down olive’s throat ten minutes before a show lol! 

15. What songs remind you of their relationship?

well, i have an entire playlist for them linked here but their top four songs are, all over again by big time rush, falling over me by demi lovato, ko by the ready set and love me again (uncensored/demo version) by big time rush. 

16. Would they ever get matching tattoos? If yes, what would these look like?

yes! they both get 11.21.11 tattooed, which is the day that btr released all over again, and i hc is the day when logan confessed his feelings for olive. they also both get small heart tattoos on their inner wrists for their 10 year anniversary. 

17. How well do they communicate? Are they open with their feelings/thoughts or more reserved? Why?

they communicate pretty well, but they have their struggles. olive has a tendency to withdraw into herself after a particularly bad ied episode. logan sometimes pushes too hard to try and get olive to tell him how she feels and when olive snaps, he gets angry at her for being angry at him. 

18. How do they care for each other when one of them is wounded/sick? 

logan goes full doctor mode (even more so after he is… y’know a licensed doctor) and he’s got all the meds olive could need, plus his laptop to watch movies. for olive, she freaks out for a moment bc logan never gets sick, but once she gets her bearings, she goes full mother hen. 

19. Do they wear each other’s clothes/jewelry? 

yes! olive steals logan’s cardigans and shirts all the time, and she will do so forever. she also steals a couple of his rings. olive gifts logan a silver chain for his 19th birthday that he wears on a regular basis. 

20. How do they comfort each other when one of them is upset? Is this method of comfort effective? 

lots of cuddling and holding hands. olive likes being smushed by logan’s arms after a long and stressful day. logan just likes being close to her.

Aaaaand almost a week after I am here 🥲 finally finally FINALLY read starry night 🥲 First off, I really wanted to be there during the drop / immediately after but life is wow oh wow ANYWAYSSS

The chapter is just everything and more. Lived up to the hype fr ☝🏼 While reading all I can think of was wow they're both so hurt it hurts me too lol and as much as I wish that they just be soooo alright already, I realized how what you write just shows how real it is to go through pain and heal and everything that comes during and after that ❤️‍🩹

Yes oc was a bit over BUT I completely get it. As much as we don't want to be reactive and all, sometimes we just can't hold it in and it's okay bc one way or another what we feel might just burst and that's worse, I think. Seriously though kudos to them for communicating so well, they're growing lol. AND most of all I think thank you so much oc for standing up for Kook 🫂

DAMN i love that 😭 they're truly hurt lol life did a number on them. and yeah, while their issues are close to reality for sure, i just hope they'll have the opportunity to wind down soon and keep finding comfort in each other. (i say as the author, fully knowing there's pain ahead 😂). and you're SO spot on!! it's normal to react, right? i know the ideal situation would be them moving on and not caring at all and being friends and chasing rainbows, but– human emotions are complex, so i guess she was bound to feel hurt when she loves him sm. you're totally right. but yes, we love communication and ppl defending loved ones <3

he's very similar to uni in some ways, and that isn't intentional i've had pink for a WHILE. they would b good friends tho. i gave him mega-sads instead of ultra mega-sads ( normalest sentence ) just to differentiate. Bc i do not want ppl to call him a clone of uni they are very much diff people just with the same sort of outward flavor.

speaking of which he probably has more afflictions i just didnt know how to sparklecare-ify having ADHD and probable BPD. nor did i rlly want to make terms for it. likely has a physical affliction as well before coming to the hospital i just didn't know what to give him

he has two prosthetics! one prosthetic arm, one leg. yes, this obviously means those two limbs were removed from him somehow. most people assume and theorize the staff at sparklecare did this during a surgery, but... pink gets very dodgy about this topic and never answers it in a clear way.

due to him being very sociable and easy to get along with he's friends with most patients . sort of like a Hospital Celebrity. he's known and he's cool and he's chill so ppl like him.

also i'm not sure if it matters but the bro and scatterbrained art is pulled from the official website, which is prob obvious

his favorite holidays are palentines day and kissmas and its obvious. loves anything associated with love and that whole aesthetic.

either has the default rainbow armband or the ITP band ( he's usually pretty compliant .. mostly out of fear. he does and will join or help escape attempts sometimes tho )

sleeps a lot. possibly narcolepsy possibly just not that ( like. napping a lot or depression naps or naps bc hes dissociating and or understimulated. )

he's often found doodling idly or singing and making music in his spare time. he's expressed a desire to become an idol or an actor in his future. ( referencing how canon pink/razz is an idol robot lol )

sleazy/flirtatious

honestly this one is a give or take but it's a trait he eventually has. he definitely flirts with people often and casually. whether or not he actually sleeps around is a give or take though because i can see it either way, but, probably. he has an Allure to him. and he's. hypersexual so i mean yea.

egotistical/self-absorbed

this one isn't super bad, but he hypes himself up a lot and compliments himself casually. it's mostly to make him feel better about himself... but he does sometimes put other people down in order to put him up. it's always jokingly, at least... mostly, but it can become a problem later down the line. it doesn't feel good to be called lesser to someone!

tech-savvy

he's probably edited videos and audio a lot. and is or wanted to be a streamer/youtuber.

outgoing/extroverted

outgoing and affectionate are sort of hand in hand for pink. although, he has a very high social battery.... somehow, and is always around people or talking to him. he's also pretty impulsive.

affectionate

sometimes overly so. he'll even be affectionate or call people nicknames who he really should be at odds with - this includes staff. he's incredibly chill with most of the staff, or at least seems to be... giving them all nicknames and talking with them as if they were casual friends ( they aren't ). or it's to annoy them. it's not really clear with razz, ever.

presumably, this is a bad way of coping with how shitty people treat him by acting as if they're his friends - or something.

sensitive ( if you told razzy you hated him or smth he'd take it super personally but he'd come off as not offended but he'd think about it way too much. surprisingly he doesn't do this with like threats. he's numb to threats almost entirely )

conflict avoidant ( mostly explained in chill but they prob should be separate things there just wasnt enough space lol )

he casually swears a lot and says a lot of sex jokes or things like that. Very casually, once again.

dissociative

his response to anything traumatic is usually just being really zoned out and dissociative after - due to this people think he doesn't really have a proper response to trauma. he does! people just don't think the zoning out counts as one! he has others, but he tries to hide any other trauma response for when he's alone.

fear of hospitals/medical stuff/etc

surprisingly, this didn't happen after being admitted to sparklecare, but it very much didn't help. goes hand in hand with claustrophobia and a lot of other fears he won't admit to. he's gotten numb over time. it still messes with him badly, but that mostly shows in the form of him dissociating... or in rare cases, having a panic attack. he only really shows emotion when he's in very very bad mental health or alone. at the very least he has people to talk to - if he didn't, he'd likely have completely broken by now.

thats a lot of things and i could probably find more to describe him but yea. He should prob also be more saturated n simplified but ehhhhhh. My oc my funny my silly he gets to slightly bend rules cuz he isnt in the comic its fiiine.

( plus its kinda symbolic of how many people in universe would see pink as surprisingly mentally well-adjusted and fine considering the situation he's in, which reflects in him not being 100% saturated. but he is. it just doesn't show outwardly )

Would you mind explaining more about how character cool-downs will work, esp at the beginning of the rp? It sounds like an interesting system. 👀 Glad there won't be any hard limits bc I already have three different concepts rotating in my head like a rotisserie chicken.

Ah yes, the OC rotisserie, my old friend. ♡

"Cool-downs" may have been the less apt term to use in retrospect, but essentially you can create OR drop one character once between each monthly world update announcement. This is mostly to keep staff pressure light and provide ample time both for new characters to set up and for outgoing characters to get all of their loose ends accounted for, but also to encourage players to think carefully about which characters they bring and hopefully avoid falling into the "revolving-door" cycle of making and dropping characters that gets the better of a lot of WCRPers. Making new characters is fun and exciting, but with Legacies we want to keep the story and the world front and center with as consistent a cast as we can comfortably manage.

That said, we do have space on the server for AU drabbles, character/story drafting, ClanGen save sharing, and so on so you can still tap into that new character hype when you want to! Rapid character turnover isn't something we consider a bad thing, it's just not what Legacies' RP proper is built for.

Submitting a character into active play and removing an active character from the RP setting/roster are bound to monthly limits. Creating adopts for others to pick up is totally free rein, and adopts can be very simple to make if you want them to be - our only requirement for adopt listings is that all adoptables must be stated to be sufficiently closely related to an active approved character; close family (including mentors, apprentices, and found family) and friends are fine, but nespring, grandparents, cousins, etc are not adopt material at Legacies unless they have a clear close bond with an established character. This is so we keep plenty of room for creating family trees between players, and so we don't flood the RP roster with unplayed NPCs. Picking up an adoptable character to RP, however, is also limited to the monthly timeline, since that is functionally the same as submitting an OC. Normally, you can only do one of these three things one time each month, unless you specifically need to gut your roster for essential activity purposes (in that case, just ask staff; we'll usually be happy to help!)

For example, if you choose to drop an active character in June, you can't pick up a new adopt or drop a second character until July. You can ask adopt makers to hold their adopts for you, though, and while there aren't currently rules about this specifically, we are going to encourage that sort of patience and flexibility when it comes to adoptions specifically because the timeline for roster edits is so slow.

There are some exceptions to this timeline, though:

Newcomers to the server can make or claim two characters in their first month. This isn't just for server launch, but for all future openings.

New faction openings will give all current players the option to create one "freebie" character in or related to that faction without any impact on their roster timelines.

Certain RP events may introduce new adoptable characters or openings for plot-specific character roles; these also function as exceptions to the standard roster timeline, but require staff approval before starting. Some characters of this nature may be temporary to the RP setting and tied specifically to the plot that introduced them, while others may be or become long-term residents - ultimately these details are down to whoever is running the event.

Other players dropping plot-essential characters is a major point of staff concern at Legacies that we hope to address by giving players the option of creating substitute characters - not copies of the absent characters, but new faces filling similar relationship and story roles where they are needed to keep RP accessible to everyone - in the event of a drop, character death, or other major plot event that might otherwise render an associated character or storyline difficult or impossible for others to safely play. These special staff-assisted plot adopts will never be bound by roster timelines so that the players who post them may get back to the action as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Kit births do not qualify as extenuating events in the RP, and kit claims function as standard OC submissions and adoptions on the same timeline as other standard characters. This is because Legacies runs in-RP litters as player or staff-run adopts, with the actual kitting only happening once adoptions for the litter are closed.

That said, the roster timeline is not a hard 30-day wait - creating a character at the end of one month doesn't mean you'll have to wait until the end of the next month to make another, you can make your next submission or drop as soon as the next monthly RP update goes live (something we will endeavor to always keep within the first week of each month). We just ask that you don't add or drop multiple times in a single month, as both can be complicated affairs that require a lot of attention and writing work for involved and affected players.

1) How many works do you have on AO3? - Honestly only like 3, I don’t usually post my fics on there bc I always forget. I need to sit down and do that. I have 11 on tumblr though.

2) What’s your total AO3 word count?- Like 30k

3) What fandoms do you write for? - Just Stranger Things atm. I have been considering a few other things lately tho.👀

4) What are your top five fics by kudos? - Again I don’t really post my fics on AO3 as much so I only have 5 on there lol but my top fics on tumblr are Beer and Bunny’s, Cat and Mouse, Best Mates, All You Have To Do Is Ask, and See You Again.

5) Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? - ALWAYS!! Sometimes when I’m feeling down about my writing I go back and reread them and it keeps me going/hypes me up.

6) What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? - I do not have a single fic that ends even remotely angsty. I cannot do angsty endings, reading them or writing them. I need my happy ending.

Who am I?

My name is Casper, my birthday is July 24. I use they/them pronouns and I'm nonbinary biromantic and asexual. I love animals and I have a cat, her name is Midnight and I love her more than life itself. I like to read a little, my favorite book series is Warriors by Erin Hunter. I'm a writer and an artist, I'm currently writing three books and working on a small art print business called "Starlight Studio" where I make and sell galaxy themed art prints, with a frame included in each order and I'm writing two scripts for an object show created by me and my little sister and an animated series called "Call of The Stray" as well as a webcomic called Sunny Skies and Coral Depths. I like cooking and baking. I also like to to roleplay and create characters with fully detailed stories that I spend months to years on, one of which is my oc Kiry, you'll see a lot of her. I am also a beginner witch learning about paganism so you'll see a few things related to paganism and witchcraft.

Why am I here?

I'm here to get advice to help make my art style better and learn to draw more than just animals and furry ocs, as some of my ocs are humans or have human characteristics. I tried getting people on TikTok to help, but all I get is "your art is awful/bad" with literally nothing else and whenever I try to get them to elaborate, they never respond, so I'm here to try out anything people tell me to do as long as no one is telling me to stop drawing like a few people have done bc apparently wholesome furry art is "weird" so I'm gonna see if people here are more helpful. you and one other person asked this so i will give you one (1) artist and one (1) song that give me nostalgia

soft by washed out gives me intense nostalgia. the ties in my head aren't the best but the song is really nice so i still think of it fondly

then uhhh an artist.. i used to listen to ben howard a lot when i was younger (and by a lot i mean like 2 or 3 songs on repeat for days) so i'll use him for this answer!

i really vibe with California Friends by The Regrettes bc (related to the next question) it's an oc song that reminds me of robin and piper and it gets me hyped up bc i love my ocs. there is a lot of oc music that gets me hyped up. OH ALSO Hey There Cowgirl by Palm Springsteen (also an oc song) (it has iris and rosie vibes) (specifically from iris' pov) (i like to sing along to it very loudly in the car)

second re: Liv and the shotgun. first thing I thought of? well that’s sexy. and badass. bc if I had personally been through all the shit that Liv has and this was happening to me? You best believe I’d be doing the same. so for me to see all the backlash on this? (safety, kid in the house, etc.) like this grown ass woman isn’t a decorated nypd CAPTAIN and police officer for half her life. like cmon friends. lol.

ok so third I’m LOVING at this continuity piece they slipped in with oc by saying Elliot lost a friend, partner recently. It puts so much into perspective as to why they don’t talk. it also gives the shows and sr’s an out I think. What I mean by that is I know some big accounts on Twitter (and more than one) talk about having one sided conversations on the respective shows. Like why can’t we see a “text” from Elliot or a “call” from Liv? This requires no budget, planning, etc. (and I agree with that perspective) but it just gave us so much. And that’s so positive imo. Like FINALLY we’re acknowledging this pink elephant in the room as to why that hasn’t happened and that was awesome for continuity and esp for progression.

I think it also gives the viewers a chance to be rightfully angry for Liv and at Elliot in a way we haven’t seen yet. He just acknowledged that he was neglectful, selfish, etc. that hasn’t been talked about yet. so we aren’t watching two different shows in two different universes. there is a reason!

In all, I just think that that one comment gave us so much and that has allllllll the potential for this upcoming arc. It’s disheartening to see the negativity about it in twitter, but hey that’s Twitter for ya. 😂

lastly, I say all these things with respect and a little bit of humor-never anything seriously negative. I know how tone can be weird through the screen and would never want to come off that way or disrespect anyone in any way 🥰🥰

first - i do watch episodes live! i usually don't liveblog or check in on tumblr or twitter, but i always post a little immediate thought when oc is over and my inbox is always open for yelling lol

second - yes. there was an immediate backlash to the visual of it, a backlash that doesn't account for who she is, what we know about her, what we saw, and what we didn't. i'm surprised anyone is surprised she has that weapon at home. i think it makes people uncomfortable, and i understand that, but olivia isn't us. olivia lives a very different life from most of us, and she has a familiarity with guns, and a real, visceral reason to be afraid for her safety, and she had to turn in her service weapon. and of course in the wake of a trauma like that this is how she responds. i personally loved it.

third - yes i'm actually kinda hype for the idea that they had a falling out, or a drifting apart, and they are going to have a chance to choose. when he's healed and she's not trying to hold his life together any more and they both have to think about they really want. i'd rather them be in a fucking fight and angry with each other than find out they were having a lot of important relationship development that we didn't get to see.

The only kind of ship I truly ever enjoy seeing...

honestly there's something so liberating about people shipping their ocs/self inserts with canon that's really refreshing to see. It's people being themselves, and at peace with themselves and at the same time showing the love to (insert the character of honor here).

Not that there's anything wrong with canonXcanon either, but I've just grown up seeing it so much and I never got the hype for shipping in the first place...? I mean I guess it's a me problem idk. I don't hate it by any means or dislike people who make canonXcanon stuff, I'm just kind of neutral abt it and it gets boring to me after a while (yes I know... shameful of me).

I'm speaking from the art world, not the fanfiction world btw, so keep that in mind as well. I have read one or two self-insertXcanon out of curiosity but I could never really feel immersed bc the fic would "miswrite" me XD I think that's because the writer is projecting themselves more than anything and hey! I got to give them credit for doing that. Honestly just be yourself when creating and have fun, that's all that matters to me. Do it for yourself, not for "what people want from me".

re-reading WITS because all this hype is sorta giving me FOMO and just wanted to say thank you for giving Jacaera two strong mother figures in her life. Usually aemond fics make it so that the OC is treated badly by either Rhaenyra or Daemon, so to see her being cherished by the Blacks AND Laena too means so much to me. And it meant a lot to be when I first read it too.

i have yet to read an aemond fic where rhaenyra treats an OC (especially a DAUGHTER) badly and thank god i haven't bc that's simply clown behavior 😗 going into WITS, i knew for sure motherhood was one of the themes i wanted to explore and not just biological mother-daughter relationships but also adoptive ones as shown in how laena and rhaenyra raised jacaera. with rhaenyra and jacaera, there's a stepmother-stepdaughter adoration and strain that's complicated by laena's death, jacaera's need for daemon's approval, baela and rhaena being seen as legitimate, and jacaera frequently taking on the mother role with her siblings. even rhaenyra's manner of raising jacaera is influenced by her own complicated parental relationship with alicent which i don't see a lot in fics but it's an underrated dynamic. however, jacaera is fervently team rhaenyra and they would move mountains for each other <3

I am German but I haven't lived in Germany for years. I only moved back. Basically I missed all the joko & klaas hype. Oc I know about them and heard about what they do/did but I also was (yk louis style) 'they are so trendy can't like them'. Even though people said I would if I'd give them a chance. And now Louis comes on and I am finally forced to learn stuff about joko & klaas but I also am feeling slightly overwhelmed and it's more funny to me than anything. I will say I typically stray from “Idol-verse” just because if we’re being real, the cultural difference alone sometimes stunts my creativity...BUT I just had a little fun with this one...so I hope you all enjoy it. Also, I don’t go into much physical details but in my mind regardless of race, aesthetic wise the OC is a huge contrast to what he’s use to which is part of her appeal. I picture a tatted Barbie of some sorts...

“Well, it’s a yes for me” Eyeing him in this Hot pink-fitted Burliti suit, which you paired with a very sheer black Arnar Mar turtle neck. The minute you saw the piece on the runway you’d been dying to get it on someone with melanated skin, and it just so happens, the boys are fresh off the US leg of their stadium tour! So, lucky for you, baby boy’s been in the sun a lot, and Namjoon’s currently a sinful shade of brown and you're totally here for it…

Then to top it off, the mesh material of the turtle neck creates the perfect silhouette around his offensively toned chest, outlining the muscles sinfully. Eternally snorting at the way the fans are gonna thank and curse you out all at the same damn time once they see the looks you’ve pulled for this man!

And yes, you had your crew bring extended shades of foundation and concealer, because his face and neck will match if your name is going to be attached to these damn photos! 

Head tilted to the side as you silently observe the way he rakes over his reflection in the mirror, it’s a sixth sense you’ve acquired as a stylist at this point. Half of your job is essentially being a hype man/self love coach, real shit, a lot of these artist aren't always as...confident as one may think!

And just like clockwork Namjoon runs his palm down his thighs, smoothing out nonexistent wrinkles on his pants for the umpteenth time in the span of oh I don’t know 30 seconds? Which in turn prompts you to say….

“You look good Joonie...” Musing over your second glass of Don, the compliment was genuine, tone warm, soothing even, not a hint flirtation insight because that wasn’t your motive. You weren’t trying to get him flustered you’re just trying to gas him up a little, you wanted to see Namjoon get alittle cocky and feel himself!

Ears perking up like an overgrown puppy, head whipping in your direction “Yeah?” The way this man’s eyes just lit up like the soul skyline. I just-goddamn, an almost bashful smile toys on those plush lips of his, and you can’t help the way your chest flutters with nothing but fondness.

“So fuckin cute” Flutters off your lips, as you hide a smile of your own behind a half empty whine glass. The delivery was so faint it almost go lost in the background music floating through the air. However the slight flush hitting his cheeks let you know Namjoon heard you whether he wanted to admit it or not!

”Mmmhmm, the color looks fuckin insane against your skin, not to mention, the way everything's going to pop once we tone your hair a little! “ Eyes drinking him in from head to toe, though there was nothing suggestive playing within your iris. Very much aware of time and place and right now your genuinely looking respectfully! Seeing if any alterations are needed, making sure you like where everything sits along his frame. Making notes in your phone of places you want to pin and adjust later...snapping a couple shots here and there. 

Licking his lips anxiously as he plays with the lapels on the blazer “But like-I mean-I- dont’-It doesn’t look like I’m... trying too hard or anything?” Brows furrowed in the center of his face, jaw tight, wincing slightly at his own words, almost as if he was afraid of your response. The vulnerability within his delivery was more than evident, and no matter how common this is with artist, it’s still just as devastating! Regardless of how much he tried to play it off as if he was just making casual conversation, you can see how blatantly uncomfortable he is . Gazing back at you wide eyed, and uncannily exposed, pointing at the outfit in question. Licking his lips anxiously as he plays with the the blazer, switching posses subtlety trying to get a better feel for the suit.  

You stayed silent for a minute, taking the time to actually process before speaking which is rare, not gonna lie. Gaze piercing as you hop off the bed, wine, and accessories in hand, swaying closer. “It’s fashion”. The baited pause almost implied that’s all you had to say, as if one-word was self-sufficient, and in your mind it was...but you knew better than to just leave it at that.

“Art at its finest Mr. Kim” You smile something a little devious, and he flushes even deeper as you slowly start to invade his space eyes locked with him meaningfully. You can physically see the shift, the closer you get, Namjoon starts fidgeting slightly under your gaze but he doesn't back down.

“It gives you room to play, create...it’s something that let’s us connect to people without saying a damn thing.” Suddenly the hand that wasn’t holding your alcohol has become a prop, flailing around haphazardly as you spoke, pointing at the various pieces hanging on clothes racks in your suite! The penthouse has essentially been transformed into your own personal walk in closet for the next 5 or so days! “It’s a statement. A opportunity to tap into a side of yourself that maybe you can’t always verbally articulate to the world around you! More importantly, it’s supposed to be fun, it’s literally something that can be removed within seconds! I mean we all have to wear clothes so why not just enjoy it?”  Head cocked to the side as you appraise him, brow quirked, eyes warm, yet there's a clear challenge playing within your gaze.

Namjoon’s watching you intently, almost as if he’s taking mental notes as you speak...the heaviness within those dangerously honed eyes of his could almost be unsettling to some, but you quite like it. Made you feel as though he actually gives a flying fuck about what you’re saying.

“In my opinion the only time it looks like someone’s “Trying too hard” Making little air bunnies with your spare hand “Is if they look uncomfortable in what they’re wearing, confidence is key, and I know you know that better than anyone RM!” You muse batting your lashes in Namjoon’s direction, and he dimples back at you, eyes sinking into tiny crescents, face rivaling the color of his suit, trying to hide said smile behind his own glass of champagne.  

“I could put you in a damn clown suit...” Words trailing off your tongue lackadaisically as you grow distracted searching the bar for a specific chain from John Hardy. “Which” Focus snapping back in his direction making the later splutter a little “Would be fire as fuck if I did by the way, but-”  Namjoon ended up cackling midsentence, almost choking on his drink in the process, fist pounding against his sternum.

Yeah..killing the leader of Bangtan wasn’t really high on your list tonight....

“Ayee, none of that shit...” Smacking him in the back a little more so just to be an ass because he wasn’t even choking anymore “Don’t die on me until we at least get this damn photoshoot done, I had to cancel my trip to Jamaica for this shit!”

Now he’s damn near choking and his laugh was contagious, it’s just.. loud, carefree so yes, your cackling, and there's nothing cute about it. But you honestly don’t care, you let yourself get lost in it! Finally able to feel the atmosphere in the room start to shift to something a little less scripted and a little more organic...

Throwing his hands in the air as If he’s waving a nonexistent white flag “I’m sorry, noona” There’s a pout playing in his lips, not exactly aegyo per say, but it’s fuckin adorable “Blame PD-nim, it’s his fault we had to do this so last minute” Wheezes from his throat, in the form of a slight whine, almost rivaling Jimin if I’m honest.

You already know he was laughing more so due to your delivery, specifically, your casual use of profanity over anything else. This is actually something you use to be self-conscious about, especially at your first shoot with the boys, at the shoot for GQ . Well aware it wasn’t as common in Asia for people especially women to use “fuck” like a comma. So you were hoping they wouldn’t be offended, or uncomfortable by your dialect, and, thankfully they didn’t seem to mind. Much like Joonie over here, they found it entertaining over anything.

“Yeah, a huh, sureee...” Eyes rolling to the back of your head playfully as you start lightly altering the suit in question with clips and pens. “Stay still babe” The pet name slipped off your tongue effortlessly, honestly, that's what you call most people in your life. However you were far too focused to notice how wide eyed and flustered the man before you became upon hearing it directed at him so casually.

A faint little “Sorry” muses off his lips as he gnaws on his inner cheek, trying to stay still as you ghetto-rig hems into place until you can get this under your sewing needle.

“ No, but real shit…” You sigh, taking on a slightly more serious tone “If you step in front of that camera like you own the bitch, regardless of what your wearing..., then they can’t tell you shit! If your comfortable there’s no such thing as trying too hard” You shrug nonchalantly like that was the simplest concept known to man, downing the rest of your drink “Alright, that’s all, thanks for coming to my Ted talk” Waving him off as if you’re about to leave the room and he pouted playfully, jokingly begging you not to leave him yet...it felt good to be able to banter like this. The shift continuous shift within the atmosphere was more than welcomed…

Hesitantly you watch his eyes find their way back to the full length mirror, which promptly smacks you back to reality!

Unfortunately you didn't fly all the way to Seoul just to drink,  and shoot shit with Namjoon for hours on end,  your actually here to work…

Sooo...

“Alright” Placing your arms on his shoulders, giving him a reassuring squeeze as you peer over his shoulder. Meeting his gaze through the glass, chin resting gently against the blade. “Back to the reason you came Mr. “I’m sooo anxiously” Shooting him a teasing little smirk in the process “The suit, yay or nay”

So, here’s the thing technically the official fitting is tomorrow, and as far as his team knows he’s in the studio with Yoongi and Hoseok finishing up a song!

Which of course raises the question as to why he’s here..alone..mind you..no staff or security in site.

Heyyyy, Lemme know if you guys want this or not, it will leave kinda open ended because it was supposed to kinda be a 3 part mini series initially. Part 1 ends the morning of the shoot, the full thing is set to be around 6/7k! Spoiler, the company is going to want to keep her around for more than just Namjoon’s solo project....

Also, YES...I did see that they actually put Tae in that Burliti suit (I wrote this long before that shoot was released)...I actually hated the way it was styled it though...I never thought I’d say this but MGK’s team did a better job than BH....
