i’d also like to add that arizona being an overly perky, disney loving person isn’t realistic. it’s actually one of my biggest pet peeves when reading fanfics. that and people calling her “ari”. it’s just weird.

but yes, i agree with pretty much everything you said about mark as a father. i literally cringed when you brought up how he was with his grandson. it was uncomfortable to watch. most of his scenes are. especially when you look back at them now. i could go on for days how gross i found him really. he was a walking sexual harassment case. no idea how callie found him funny or charming. i love that it was pretty much canon that neither daniel or carlos liked him.

speaking of them, how gross was it when he was at the dinner callie and arizona had before their wedding? like did he invite himself or was it callie that invited him? i’d like to think he invited himself and callie just felt too bad for mark that she couldn’t ask him to leave. also, it’s like people forgave mark for everything he ever said or did when he hugged arizona during the wedding episode.

yes! i hate the "ari" nickname tbh. i know i'm pushing my luck a bit with "zozo" and "zoie" but i think i've always included a like in story explanation and it's more of a joke? idk nicknames are weird. i could probably write a novel about the weird characterizations in grey's fanfic at this point, but i won't haha

i feel like you can find mark-like characters in so many shows from that same time period. like the charming pervy hot guy was just a thing in so many shows from the late 90s/early 00s.

as for why callie was so charmed by him, i think a lot of it has to do with what callie said in s2? s3? when she says surgeons are all just stuck in high school. callie in a lot of ways is always stuck in a kind of high school mindset and mark is kinda a bmoc type and the kind of guy who maybe never paid attention to callie in high school. that's my theory at least.

yeah, i think you're right about mark inviting himself and then callie feeling bad. (full disclosure: the calzona wedding episode is probably the only episode in s1-8 other than the plane crash that i regularly skip. i just don't enjoy it haha)

OK. That's how it ends. Why is the show called "The Book of BOBA FETT" again?

Things that I can't classify just yet so I put them here:

It's a space western. We get it. Did you really need to give us TWO western- like confrontations in that ep? No. Did you do it anyway? Yes. Am I complaining? I don't know.

The ending with the choice Grogu has to make. What I want him to do is choose Din's gift and go back to s1's spirit of "Mando and The Child Living Space Adventures". What will probably happen is idk what because who these days can f***ing predict what SW will give us or not.

In conclusion: This episode was everything but an episode of The Book of Boba Fett. And somehow I know ep7 will be the same disappointing take. Maybe even worse. I'm honestly disappointed and sad and angry.

For Temuera and Ming-Na,for the fans and everyone who expected and had faith in a series that was supposed to bring (positive) representation of Polynesian culture, with two MC played by a Polynesian Maōri man and a Chinese-American woman, both middle-aged, both talented actors.

So, we all know Papa Zola is a video game character, right? Right.

And we all know the Papa Zola franchise has been going on ever since Mr. Kumar was in his prime gamer youth, correct?

And sometimes or most of the time, depends on how you look at it. A video game franchise this old most likely have multiple canons.

That would be a more logical explanation why Papa Zola suddenly have the same three backstory just with different profession (ie. Math teacher, P.E. teacher, and referee).

My headcanon being is that during his time in the real world, Papa Zola is slowly gaining memories from different games and canons.

And now, the company and gaming team behind the Papa Zola franchise.

Ever since their mascot existed in real life, do the still continue making games or do they just stop? Because if I remember correctly around season 3 Gopal mentions a new Papa Zola game.

Also it would make more sense if Pipi and Nek Pi was pulled out of a different Zola game.

Wait, does Papa Zola have a comic canon? I mean, we saw a TV canon of Papa Zola and he seems to remember the TV canon as well. How about the new games? Do they add more to the Papa Zola lore?

So in conclusion, Papa Zola probably has multiple canons and he's going to remember ALL OF IT.

Well, since s3's ending is now a refreshed memory of mine, something has been floating around in my head for a while.

That one scene where Kaizo just tells Boboiboy to give him more in battle.

It's probably just a taunt but he said it with such..... excitement????

What I'm trying to say is that

Kaizo is a battle thirsty masochist, no I don't take criticism.

But lemme introduce to you:

M.A.T.A. Pillar Sorting.

Don't know what that is? Lemme explain.

M.A.T.A. is an agent organization from the Malaysian animated series Ejen Ali.

Don't know Ejen Ali? Let me give you a quick summary.

Ejen Ali (Agent Ali in English) tells about a young boy becoming an agent after accidentally obtaining a super secret governmental weapon, I.R.I.S., now he has to train into becoming an official agent and juggling between that and school life.

And I invite y'all to watch it, why?

If you like Dream SMP plot or just the angst, then you might like Ejen Ali.

It has the including:

Bad parenting (yes this is definitely shading on the mc's father)

Betrayal, obviously

Morally grey shit

Violence towards animals? Yes

Not giving that much attention about the consequence of child soldiers? You got it!

Unfortunately it doesn't have magic, but it has sci-fi so that means cool robots and gadgets, yanno?

Now, let's get to the main thing, the pillars.

Like Hogwarts houses, M.A.T.A. has four pillars, the different being, you are not sorted by traits instead, you're sorted by skills.

The four pillars are:

Neuro

Neuro is the leader pillar, in every team there's gotta be a Neuro at hand (well, every team has to have one of each pillars but, you get the idea), they read the atmosphere well and make the best strategy for current mission and/or situation. They are also long ranged fighters, well, most of them, I believe. With weapons including guns and slingshots, and jetpacks, I guess.

Kombat

Kombat, as the name suggest, is the brawn pillar, the fighter, the tank, and also the defense, they are close ranged fighters compared to their Neuro companions. Some of them also have semi long ranged/mid ranged gadgets like, plasma daggers and weaponized shawl/hijab.

Tekno (haha funny)

Tekno, unfortunately, is not the orphan killing pillar. Tekno is the inventor pillar, they make the gadgets for the agency, most of their gadgets actually varies from person to person on fighting range, but they also have mostly defense systems, so there's that, they are the brains, the hackers, the tech nerd you probably saw getting bullied in middle school and now they're ready to kick ass.

Inviso

Inviso, the stealth pillar. Also considered the 'Slytherin' of the pillars due to [SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO WISHES TO SEE THE SERIES] the many traitors from there, despite Tekno also having one. [SPOILERS ENDS HERE]. They're stealthy, so they have the more cooler looking gadgets like cloaking devices and suits that can shoots out holographic clones and give super speed.

In all seriousness, please watch it, it's good, you may not believe it because of the things that I mentioned earlier but, this series is marketed for kids and it has no right to be this good and angsty.

Am I making a Dream SMP M.A.T.A. AU? Yes, absolutely.

Why? Because I can and the Ejen Ali Tumblr is dying.

Now, if I see you starting shipping and/or sexualizing the minors, I will make break your kneecaps, I don't care if they're fictional minors, I don't want another MHA case.
