Co-Worker to lover - Hyunsuk was a famous producer, always praised by everyone, especially your other co-workers. You were also a producer but more on the discreet and shy side. You obviously knew Hyunsuk I mean who didn't ? He was the best producer of the agency ! One day, your manager asked the two of you to work together on a song. Honestly, you never felt this anxious before. Not only because Hyunsuk was a really good producer and a very attractive man but also because you started to develop a crush on the latter. Writing and composing the song together was the best experience ever, you got along very well and Hyunsuk felt home. Within only few days, you composed an amazing song, yet you couldn't help but feel sad ; if the song is finished, it means you won't work with Hyunsuk anymore. So he talked to you, assuming his feelings for you and waiting to be rejected. But it obviously didn't happen ; you just pecked his lips and whispered how much you loved him too.

Mashiho was the best friend of your brother and ,and since you were around 10 years old ,you grew used to see him practically everyday at your place, sometimes playing basketball, some other times dancing with your brother. And you genuinely enjoyed to watch him because he was surely the best at the two sports. Actually, Mashiho was good at everything.

Being younger than him, you knew that you should look at the boys of your age but Mashiho was just different, always happy with a smile on his face and you loved him for that... Yes you loved him. You had feelings for him. Sometimes, the older even cooked you some dishes when your parents weren't here ; the boy seemed to have a soft spot for you.

Thereafter, the poor boy just ran aways, suddenly feeling shy and embarassed, he locked himself in his room, leaving you and Mashiho confused "Yeah it's Asahi... one of my roommates." Your friend chuckled.

But your face stayed in Asahi's mind and, haunting his dreams and invading his thoughts. Asahi shamelessly replied ,being a way too serious about you.

Then Mashiho understood that his roommate had a crush on you. Actually, everyone understood it because the boy always talked about you. And Mashiho being the good friend and wing man that he is, eventually introduced Asahi to you properly and the two of you became really close fastly, you were the only one who knew all his secrets, the only he really trusted . You were his favorite friend and he was yours and maybe... you were more than just friends ?

Jongwoo tried to play it very cool when he confessed to his crush. He was good friends with you, but throughout the last 3 months, he had tried to be more touchy and do more boyfriend things. All to see your reactions and see if maybe just maybe, his feelings were reciprocated. 

He gave you extra long hugs, a lot of lingering touches, kisses on the forehead and your cheeks, and even some on your nose. Jay noticed that your jacket wasn’t very thick so between some songs he hurriedly gave you an extra jacket that he had brought, you happily took it and put it over you. 

Jay began singing some songs, one that you didn’t recognize, it took a while for you to notice that it was an original song of his because of the fact that it seemed so familiar. He sang about falling in love with his best friend, the more you listened the more you recognized the things he sang about, moments you had spent together. You began thinking that Jay was being serious, that he was in love with you. 

As the song came to an end, Jay took hold of the mic, bringing it with him toward you, he stopped right in front of you, singing the last line, “I give you my heart to keep, please be mine” he reached out with his free hand toward you, in it laid a necklace with a beautiful heart charm. Jay looked nervous as he gazed into your eyes, wishing that you’d accept his heart. You took the necklace from him, holding it close to you, nodding your head. The people around you cheered and clapped their hands, happy for the new young couple. 

Oh Seongmin

Seongmin did not plan on confessing the day that he did. He had a whole plan and everything, however, he ended up throwing the plan away when he sporadically confessed. The two of you were out shopping like any other day the two of you did some serious shopping where you bought things you needed and also some joke shopping where you picked the ugliest clothes you could find and tried them on. Sharing a laugh at the ridiculous outfits you put together. 

“Minnie, I have to buy a new dress for that event next week, help me find a good one?” “Of course,” He smiled brightly as always, leading you into a store that displayed many beautiful dresses, all of which would look amazing on you, he thought. You looked through many dresses, finding some that you wanted to try on. After finding 12 dresses that you liked, the two of you headed over to the fitting rooms. You tried on the first dress, it was beautiful but the fabric wasn’t very nice, it was a bit itchy, so on to the next one it was. And so you continued for a while, no dress felt 100%. You were now at the last one. The fabric was soft and nice, the color complemented your skin wonderfully, when you stepped out of the changing room, Seongmin felt his heart racing, you looked absolutely stunning. 

“Woah,” “I know, it doesn’t look good at all, on me I mean, the dress is perfect, but not for me,” “What do you mean? You look stunning, amazing,” “You’re only saying that to be nice,” “No, I’m not, I’m being honest. (Y/n), look at me,” He turned you around, standing behind you, the two of you faced the big mirror in the fitting room. He gazed at you lovingly as he explained each detail that made you look beautiful. “You’re perfect, (Y/n), always have been and you always will be in my eyes, because I love you,” The second he said it, he realized that the words had slipped from his mouth. “You love me?” “I’m in love with you, (Y/n), I truly am,” You turned around, now facing him. “I love you too, Seongmin, will you be my date to the event?” “No force in the world could stop me,” 

Yeom Taegyun / TAG

Tag didn’t know how to bring it up in a conversation. He had tried for months, yet whenever he tried, the words escaped him. He could write thousands of songs and sing and rap without a problem, but facing the love of his life and telling them that he was in love with them was impossible. After consulting with one of his good friends, Jongwoo, he was given the idea of writing a love letter. One letter turned into ten. He had so much to say and once he began writing, he just couldn’t stop. The words and emotions flowed out of him as a river running down a mountain. 

Tag began secretly sending you these letters, one each week. You were surprised that you had a secret admirer, but you were very intrigued, trying to figure out who it could be. Telling Tag about all of your suspicions and the candidates for the position. Tag was disappointed when he wasn’t one of them. He persisted and kept sending you the letters, each one making you feel more and more special. “Tag, you don’t understand the way this guy writes is just magical. It’s like he’s painting a picture with words. No one I’ve dated before has ever said these things or treated me like I’m special, this guy makes me feel seen, like he loves me for me and not my body or something superficial,” After that conversation, Tag went home to write a new letter, one he would give you the day after. 

When you woke up that morning, a familiar envelope lay in front of your door after being delivered earlier in the morning. You ran over to it, opening it immediately. The text inside shocked you to your very core. 

Dear (Y/n), unless I’ve been unclear in earlier letters, I’m in love with you. To me you shine as bright as the sun, coloring my world in bright light, bringing me to life. He truly didn’t know what to do. So in his torn and tired state, he took out his phone, and wrote a long message to his good friend, Jay, asking for advice on if he should confess or not. What he didn’t notice was that he clicked on your name instead of Jay’s in his messaging app. 

* Yedam, who is it you’re thinking of confessing to? 

* (Y/n), of course. Who else? Jay come on, you know I’m only in love with (Y/n)

You were shocked to read your own name, and then see Jay’s. Yedam thinks he’s messaging Jay, and not me. 

* Right, sorry. Dude, Idk what you should do. Maybe just say it?

ok, these two are for pretty different reasons. i’ve seen this on enhablr, there seems to be a general consensus that sunoo is somewhat the least physically affectionate of the group - not that he doesn’t like it, but he just expresses his love for you differently. if physical touch was really important to you, he’d of course make an effort, but the only thing that really comes naturally to him is holding your hand. whether you’re walking or sitting, maybe watching a movie or just talking, if you don’t need to use them, his hand finds yours as if by instinct. i think he’d also really like it if you wrapped your hands around his upper arm while you walked, i don’t know why but i can just see it. jeongwoo also really loves holding hands, but i see it more as a too-shy-to-do-anything-else thing (i’m really pushing my shy jeongwoo agenda here). he’s just got this vibe of being super loud and obnoxious around his friends and then super shy and blushy and quiet around the person he likes, namely, you. at first, he can barely look you in the eyes, so when he takes your hand in his for the first time, it’s really a step up. even when he starts getting comfortable around you and showing his completely insane side, the habit stays, so you often find your fingers interlocked with his. he’d die inside if you pressed a kiss to the back of his hand, by the way.

these three LOVE to be babied, i don’t make the rules. they’re so adorable that i feel like whoever dates them would get cute aggression all the time. it may not be as obvious for haruto than for hyunsuk and jaehyuk, but i just know he lets out his cuter side around his s/o, especially if they’re older. he wouldn’t go full on aegyo or anything, he’s not that crazy, but would definitely act sweeter if he knew it would get him affection. if you started kissing him all over his face, he’d pretend he hated it and tell you to stop with a huge smile on his face, so you’d just keep going. i think it’d make him laugh a lot and he’d (not so) secretly love it. hyunsuk and jaehyuk though? they have no shame. baby talk, pouting, whining, they do it all. they’re practically begging for attention even at their grown age, and the more in-their-face the skinship is, the more they like it, so they would absolutely die for something like this. i can also see them loving this in the morning, like if you woke them up like this… can you imagine the sleepy smiles and giggles… i’m gonna go cry in a corner now.

一 back scratches / massages ; jay, mashiho

these two radiate the strongest husband energy from their respective groups and i will die on this hill. not only do they do the cooking and the cleaning, they also check up on you through regular texts, smother you with affection and know exactly what you need and when you need it. the perfect men if those even existed, basically. they’re just always, always taking care of you. they think so much about your well-being that they sometimes forget their own, so when you offer to scratch their back to help them fall asleep or even a full-on back massage, especially if they’ve had a long day, they may burst into tears. or ask you to marry them right then and there. or both. you would probably have to fight jay to stop him from giving you one in return, though. i think mashiho is less mental than that, so he’d just gladly accept it and lay there, smiling contentedly. 

一 lazy make-outs ; heeseung, jihoon, yedam

absolute menaces, the three of them. making out is like, their favorite way to hang out. they just can’t help themselves - if you’re around, they’re gonna want to have their lips on yours. and the setting is always so obvious, like a dimly-lit room with chill music playing in the background and a conveniently comfortable bed or couch nearby. yedam would invite you over to his studio, pretending he wanted you around while he worked on his music but actually just wanting to be able to kiss you. heeseung would use that movie you’d talked about as an excuse - the laptop would be discarded in ten minutes, but you wouldn’t complain anyway. to be honest, jihoon wouldn’t even try to come up with an excuse. this man will fuckboy-text you ‘u up?’ months into your relationship and show up at your house at random times of the day and night just cause he wants to make out. i wrote ‘lazy make-outs’ because they all give that chill vibe, cuddling or sitting on his lap, their hands resting on your lower back and your own in their hair or something like that. it could last for hours (with water breaks), they like it that much. they also like the moments when you take pauses and chat for a little bit, then get back to business. it’s all very chill but intimate, and they love the feel of you close to them.

一 literally anything but they’d rather die than tell you that ; asahi, sunghoon my two biases… either i have a type or i am projecting onto these men, we’ll never know! you could do anything to these two, as long as you’re not in public, they’d be completely fine with it. hold their hand, touch their hair, kiss their cheek, spank their butt, punch them in the face, if you’re touching them, they’re happy. they just like knowing that you’re being clingy and trying to get their attention. but they will never, ever tell you that. asahi, because he’s just shy like that and although he loves any crumb of affection from you, he neither knows how to tell you that nor how to reciprocate it. he’s trying, though. a kiss on your forehead from him is like a confession of his undying love for you, and if he back-hugs you, in his mind, you’re practically married. sunghoon, however… is a menace. you being clingy inflates his ego, and he will never not tease you about how much you love him and how needy you’re being, when in reality, if you spend ten minutes without kissing or touching him, he’s scared you’ve already moved on to someone else. sometimes you’ll get tired of his shit and want to ignore him for a little while. don’t do that, you’ll kill him. or worse - you’ll make him initiate the skinship, and the few times it’s happened, he almost didn’t survive it. he’s actually just a little shy, so you learn to put up with him. asahi and sunghoon are so cute anyway that you can look over things like that <3

Hyunsuk

He had very little patience for what was in his mind, a childish prank. But even with you acting up, his tolerance was low. Since he had clear rules and was upfront about what he expected of you; going against those things seemed like a clear act of rebellion.

You ignored him more in a playful way than in anger after he had teased you in front of his friends and embarrassed you. Unfortunately, you didn't get to do it right then and there but maybe it was best not to do it in front of his loved ones since you had no idea what his reaction would be like.

So, instead, you pushed him away when he tried to hug you once you got home. He called after you, '' Y/n? ''

After no response he followed you down the hall where he found you sitting on the couch, eyes glued to whatever was on the TV.

'' What's wrong? ''

Your lips were sealed tight, but if you looked close enough you could see them trembling as they were holding back a smile. He came around and stopped in front of you.

He started blocking the TV. You sighed and rolled your eyes, attempting to glare up at him. Immediately he scowled at your attitude and his voice dropped.

'' What the fuck are you doing? Why aren't you answering me? ''

Even though your whole body froze in fear, you stood your ground, refusing to give up so easily.

'' I'm gonna give you three seconds to stop this or God help me I will-''

Your eyes widened. His fist clenched hanging to his sides and you knew he probably wanted to say, 'slap you'.

'' One...'' your lips parted, yet nothing came out as you hesitated again. '' Two...''

'' Three- ''

'' No! Please, I'm sorry. I was just joking! '' you blurted out breathlessly.

A tense silence overtook the dramatic theatrics until a scoff disrupted it. You raised your head and looked at him cautiously.

'' I don't care. You're still getting punished for trying to pull something stupid like that on me. ''

Jihoon

It was too risky to do the thing your friends pushed you to do, but you did it anyway, foolishly enough.

They had no idea how your boyfriend really was behind closed doors. Innocently they suggested you ignore him to ' teach him a lesson ' for not letting you go out with them for longer than an hour.

You bit down on your lip so hard in anxiety that it almost started bleeding in the cab home. It was impossible to say no. If you did, they might question how controlling Jihoon really was and if not, then well...you'd face his wrath instead.

The thing was, you had no way to escape it. When you were just about to leave they pressed themselves into the car and insisted you should do it that night and that they would come with you for moral support.

The plan was that they'd confront him and then after, you'd go inside and ignore him.

Your legs were shaking as you slowly ascended the stairs and you knew it wasn't due to the gust of cold wind brushing past. He was definitely still up since he had ordered for you to come home so early; and he was probably positioned near the door so he could greet you and berate you with questions as soon as you'd step in.

You dreaded seeing his face. Just the sight of your drunk friends giggling behind you would probably irritate him to the point he'd consider killing them. But then the fact that you were encouraged to stand up against him would really be the cherry on top.

Even as the door creaked open, you had perfectly predicted how it would all go down. His small smile when opening the door, then replaced with a twitch of annoyance as your friends stumbled into his view.

'' You brought your friends, '' he said, not sounding very amused.

'' Yes...they um- '' you inhaled shakily, '' They weren't really happy with you. ''

His eyebrow rose and his lips stretched into a very faint smirk, barely concealing his anger.

'' Oh really? ''

'' You're too strict with her. She's an adult, she can make her own decisions, '' your friend chimed in.

He looked at her with disdain as she struggled to keep herself upright and leaned on your other friend. You started to feel even more uncomfortable.

'' I think you guys should go, it's getting late. ''

But your friends had more to say and waved you off.

'' You're a shit boyfriend. ''

'' She deserves someone better. ''

Fuck - it was going way too far.

You knew that by this point, he'd definitely punish you afterward, but you didn't want it to be super bad so you attempted to put your foot down again; by stepping into the apartment and fake laughing.

'' I'll text you, bye! ''

They didn't really get a chance to throw in more insults because you firmly closed the door behind you and then turned to him, that nervous smile on your face again.

'' Sorry. Please don't mind them. I didn't tell them anything...about us.''

'' What would you tell them? ''

He was testing you, seeing if you'd say he was toxic and treated you horribly. Sensing that he caught you off guard, he chuckled.

'' Let's go. If you think I'm letting you get off easy after that, you're fucking crazy. ''

Yoshi

The full 24 hours are not likely to pass. At first, he was confused but shrugged it off; he had better things to care about during the day than your attitude which he could deal with later. Then, as more time passed and he realized you weren't giving up the act even as he came home from work, he'd be irritated.

'' Y/n, come here. I'm home. ''

You heard it very clearly since you always knew what time he came home from work, but this time it was different. Your eyes continued scanning over the book page even though you were barely processing it, your body was on edge.

A few seconds passed with only the sound of the ticking clock to fill the dreadful silence. Then footsteps, followed by your boyfriend standing in the doorway.

His eyebrows were knit and he was scowling heavily. '' Why didn't you answer? ''

He picked up the book you were reading and you held back a protesting whine. Silently you watched him turn it over in his hands and then scoff.

'' Was it really that interesting? ''

On the surface he seemed fine but you had learned to read him very well. You saw through it and felt your body go rigid when you realized, very belatedly, that Yoshi was pissed off by your prank.

'' Sorry, '' you pathetically mumbled quietly.

His head snapped up, eyes narrowing like a predator and without any hint of amusement on his face.

'' That's not enough. ''

Junkyu

He's a pretty sweet boyfriend who is often patient, calm, and understanding, so naturally, he'd give you space. In the process of doing that, he'd most likely obsess over why you were treating him that way though, and eventually spiral into self-hate.

He would let the full 24 hours pass, but make a point by sighing loudly and pouting whenever you two were in the same room.

There were rarely times when Junkyu would do something to upset you, and there hadn't been a reason this time either. Honestly, you just wanted to upset him a little because he was cute and because you were bored.

This is another reason why he reacted so strongly. Your boyfriend called out to you when the food he'd prepared was ready. Sitting down to eat, his smile quickly faded when none of his remarks or attempts at small talk were acknowledged.

'' Did I do something? '' he asked in a small voice.

You held back a reaction and didn't say anything or even look up at him. It was as if he didn't exist at all. He must've picked up on that feeling too, because after that he didn't say anything else.

He joined you in eating his food silently and then put the plates away before walking to another room, leaving you alone for about an hour.

When he came back, he had a gloomy look on his face. His eyes didn't search for yours like they usually did. He just went to grab something and then left again.

Your heart ached in regret upon seeing him shift so suddenly due to your own actions.

'' I'm sorry, I'm not actually mad at you. I was just joking. ''

You felt tears start to poke your eyes. The guilt had been eating you up inside the more time that passed. His eyes looked puffy and red. A sniffle told you it hadn't been long since he last cried, and his voice broke, '' Really? Are you sure? ''

The next day you'd better shower him in love, and apologize profusely for the next few days.

Jaehyuk

He blinked at you in confusion but cunningly caught on quickly that you were playing a game. A childish grin would spread on his face as he asked for confirmation.

'' Are you playing a game right now? ''

Your silence didn't irritate him, instead, he nodded and pursed his lips, coming closer to you.

'' I'll do it too then. May the best one win! ''

It was unlike him to want to play childish games. He was usually pretty serious and at times strict, acting almost 10-20 years older than he actually was.

You stared after him with a gaping mouth. Then you laughed and shook your head. You weren't exactly complaining though since you'd been a bit nervous to try pranking him.

The day ended up becoming quite enjoyable. You two laughed a lot and tried to make the other person speak by catching them off guard or tickling them.

It was one of the more normal days you'd had where you felt like an actual couple, and at the end of it, it left you with a warm fuzzy feeling in your stomach.

Even you were surprised that Jaehyuk could make you feel those feelings, but it seemed like he was also a little shocked with himself. The whole thing seemed to have bonded you on both sides and when the 24 hours were up you got entangled in a passionate kiss.

Asahi

Very petty. He'd time the whole thing as soon as he caught on to what you were doing and then give you a little surprise when the full 24 hours were up.

He didn't really have any difficulty during those hours. However, on the inside, he was enraged and muttering to himself about how stupid and annoying you were being; only his revenge was keeping him in check.

You thought it was a bit odd, expecting a bigger reaction from him and unfortunately not stopping before it got too far. You enjoyed the time alone you got from this, cooking whatever you wanted to eat and watching whatever show you wanted to see for once.

When it was time for bed, he still hadn't said a word to you since he tried to hold your hand while walking and you had brushed him off. He asked you what was wrong and if he hadn't seen the smile you tried to hide, he might've blamed himself.

'' Hey, wake up. ''

You squinted at the bright light shining on your face and rolled over on your stomach. '' Just five more minutes. ''

Yoshi sighed but wore a smile when he sat down on the bed. The warm gesture of him stroking your hair like he always did so comfortingly, quickly turned cold as he began speaking again.

'' Did you have fun? Ignoring me for a whole day. I bet you did, but after a few days, you'll learn to never do something like that again. ''

'' What? What do you mean? ''

'' For the next four days, you won't exist to me. Did you forget I give back four times as hard? ''

Doyoung

Another sweeter boyfriend who would be lost like a puppy due to your behavior. The two of you were out shopping when the idea came to you.

You made it very obvious that it was pretty playful and didn't flat-out ignore his existence, because you knew that would've broken his heart.

When he turned to ask you what you thought of a plushie, you crossed your arms dramatically and pouted.

'' Baby? What's wrong? '' his smile dropped.

The shopping spree would be cut short, with no items having been bought. Outside, he glanced disinterested at the other shops and then dragged you to the car.

Silence filled the space. Your poor boyfriend looked like he was panicking. His eyes flickered around while he tried to find the right words that would make you talk again.

'' Did I do something? ''

'' Should I have bought it without asking? ''

'' Did you not like the shop? ''

But no matter how hard or long he tried, he discovered he'd have no luck. He licked his lips and leaned back against the car seat with closed eyes.

'' Whatever it is. I'm sorry. ''

You had the opportunity to look at him and laugh at his cuteness now that he wasn't paying you any attention. However, your heart would soon feel a twinge of pain at the sight of a tear sliding down his cheek.

Doyoung wiped it away and turned his head which made it hurt even more. You weren't enjoying the prank now. He didn't want you to see him upset so he tried to hide it from you.

When he sniffled he cleared his throat loudly and turned fully, propping the door open quickly so he could get out.

'' I just need some fresh air. I'll be back soon. ''

He walked a few meters away from the car and when his head started drooping and his shoulders shook, you bit your lip guilty. When he'd come back you would apologize and kiss him.

Haruto

Will lose his temper and probably react violently. If that still didn't work, he'd do anything in his power to get you to give in; lock you into a room, not give you food and water, make your boss fire you or kick you out of school, flirt with girls in front of you, get you drunk, etc.

In short, he did not give a fuck how or what consequences it might have - he is making you give him the respect he is worthy of getting no matter what.

After you ignored him when he told you to pass him something for the second time, he started up on his feet and shot daggers your way.

'' Get up. ''

Seeing that you didn't move, he counted down from three under his breath and then heaved you up with a strong grip around your arm.

'' What the fuck do you think you're doing? ''

You feigned an innocent look, but with sealed lips. His eyes narrowed and he scoffed.

'' Playing a game? ''

The corners of your mouth tugging upwards ever so slightly was caught by Haruto and answered his question. A smug look came over his face.

'' Alright. Let's play. ''

He then left the house, leaving you to wonder what he was doing. The more time that passed, the more anxious you got. His games were never any lighthearted and fun ones.

An image of your family and friends popped into your head, making your breath hitch as you reached for your phone. You sent them each a text and waited while pacing around the house.

After about twenty minutes, your phone pinged.

Mom: hey, honey

Mom: is everything okay?

You read the messages over and over, the crease in your forehead deepening every time you did so. Something was wrong. Your mom never called you any nicknames or showed much affection overall. It was a wound you had and something that someone knew about.

Cursing under your breath, you ran out of the house and all the way over to your parents' where you found your mom tied up on a chair. Haruto was leaning against the table with a big grin on his face as he typed away on her phone.

Jeongwoo

Irritated immediately and snapped back at you which made you jump back in surprise. He had always had a bad temper ever since you started dating him, which at this point had only been two months. But his anger had never been directed at you before, because you tiptoed around him carefully as to not upset him.

With a lighthearted joke like this though, you hadn't expected him to react the way he did. He looked at you as if you had just cheated on him after you turned away when he kissed you; and that's exactly where his rage-filled mind went.

'' Are you cheating on me? ''

Despite still sticking to your plan, your eyes widened visibly at his strange accusation. He approached you.

'' Why aren't you answering me? It's a simple question- yes or no? ''

Should you really push it further?

The look in his eyes told you that he wasn't really someone you should mess with when he's angry, and really you knew that from before due to seeing him fight all kinds of guys. It was breaking your heart that he had that same look of burning hatred directed at you now though, as if you were just like them.

'' I'll explain, '' you sighed and rubbed your temple.

The whole thing had made you tired and a slight throbbing in your head warned of an oncoming headache, it was best to end it here.

'' I wasn't actually angry or upset at you. It was this stupid joke thing I saw online that girlfriends did to their boyfriends. ''

His face turned blank. '' Fine. Good, '' he awkwardly pressed out and cleared his throat.

For the rest of the day, you'd have to walk on your toes, because although he didn't punish you for the prank; he'd be extremely moody and probe you, waiting for you to mess up so he actually could.

Junghwan

He rolled his eyes at first and then walked away, eventually leaving the house. Several hours would pass without a word from him, leaving you a bit speechless because it was definitely not what you had planned.

Right as the sun started setting, he finally came home. He threw several glances your way to try and figure out if you were still going to ignore him.

He could tell it wasn't anything serious since you kept eye contact and looked at him deliberately when he spoke, you just didn't respond.

But it was annoying nonetheless and felt disrespectful. Testing how far you were willing to go, he said, '' Let's break up. ''

Without thinking you blurted out, '' What? ''

Junghwan smirked, happy and self-pleased that he had outsmarted you so easily. Now there was no point in continuing the prank anymore so you just sighed and gave up.

'' Are you serious? ''

'' Ah...now you're talking? ''

'' Answer me. Why would we break up? ''

'' You seem angry at me and won't respond. Why would I want to date someone who can't even communicate properly? ''

It was starting to sound serious, you were unsure if he was just fucking with you due to you ignoring him or if he actually had come up with that during his walk outside.

''I was just kidding. It was supposed to be a prank. ''

'' Aren't pranks supposed to be funny? ''

You felt your cheeks burn red in embarrassment.

'' Yeah, it wasn't very fun. You were gone the whole time. ''

'' Not quite, just a few hours. Happy to know you missed me that much though. ''

You laughed and this time it was your turn to roll your eyes.

Yedam

He felt a wave of emotions, but the biggest one was concern. After asking you why you were ignoring him for the fifth time, his delusional side came out instead.

You weren't ignoring him because you were mad at him - no, you were sick! He must hurry to the hospital to get you treated for whatever disease you had.

After snickering to yourself about the look on his face after you ignored him so blatantly, you went off on your own to take a nap. When you woke up again, you almost gasped in shock when you discovered you were moving.

Yedam was carrying you, running with you in his arms. He only gave you a pitiful look when he glanced down and saw that you were awake, nothing seemed to shake whatever he was stressed about away.

'' Don't worry. Go back to sleep, you will be okay, '' he whispered, shushing you like you were a child.

You winched at the bright hospital lights above and buried yourself into his chest. He managed to grab hold of a nurse near the entrance and loudly shouted at her.

'' My girlfriend needs help. She's sick- something's wrong with her! ''

The poor nurse jumped back in surprise and clutched her chest. A few seconds of awkward eye contact passed before she gave in and ushered you to a room.

You felt confused, the grogginess from sleep seemed to wear off a lot slower than you'd anticipated, it was almost like someone had drugged you...

Mashiho

He'd look at you without an ounce of amusement in his face. It only appeared after he stood still and thought for a moment, then said something else.

'' If you don't want to talk to me then I will find someone who does. ''

Your face twisted uncontrollably in confusion. He hadn't exactly said anything wrong but the way he said it, almost pointedly at every word, made you shiver and feel uncomfortable for what was to come.

Your confusion would be answered after about two hours of radio silence from him. At the door, you waited to greet him like always, only to end up looking dumbfounded as a beautiful woman stepped in front of him.

'' Who are you? ''

She paid you no mind and her glancing back at Mashiho who gave her a small smile, told you that he had instructed her to do that.

Your boyfriend came in afterwards, very nonchalant looking for what drama he had just created for something so petty. You directed your rage at him since she didn't want to answer you.

'' Who is she? ''

'' Now you want to talk to me? '' he snickered, '' Too bad it's too late. ''

'' Answer me! '' you screamed at the top of your lungs.

The woman flinched and let out a small gasp but Mashiho stood unmoved, only raising an eyebrow, like he had expected this, which only made it sting even more.

'' Are you cheating on me? ''

'' I didn't know talking to someone was cheating. ''

Your lips thinned and your chin began to tremble.

'' Why did you bring her home then? ''

He stepped closer to you, the smile gone in an instant and the close proximity forced you to push your back against the wall.

'' To teach you a lesson. ''

Boys planet rant:

All I have to say is if Jay and keita don't make the line up, I'm going to have a really hard time stanning the group. My favorites in order are Jay, keita, Zhang hao, s. hanbin, Matthew, Yedam, (haruto, gunwook, jongwoo, and some others are still tbd). Also, can we please stop with the toxic Fandoms, I get that we all have faves that are competing but insulting people that support certain trainees or bringing down other contestants to promote your fav. Finally, can we please use our brains when we see rumors on Twitter about contestants and realize that no contestant should be hated unless there is solid proof that can't be manipulated proving otherwise!!!!!! Please make sure that you are not canceling a contestant's chance at debuting over some rumor made up by a hater or someone wanting to cause problems !!! After seeing some people's reaction to Jay dropping to 12th place, i am disgusted 😤 and upset that people can be that cruel for no real reason 😒 .

I have seen numerous videos showing Jay's many talents, including singing, dancing, song writing, guitar, etc. I don't understand why this man shouldn't debut when he is so talented. Keita is amazing as well with his amazing rapping and great leadership skills. Zhang hao multi talented too!!!

My thoughts on Treasure - The Second Step: Chapter Two

(edit: I wrote this in 2022 and didn't post it for some reason :p I'm posting it now, cause it was fun to read my reactions to the songs. wrote VolKno was my least fav song from the album and it's just not true omg, I love VolKno 😭)

Finally getting around to typing out my thoughts eventhough the album has been out for like a month and promotions have basically ended lol

Hello: Perfect song 10/10! I swear I cried when i first saw the MV/ listened to the song because it's just so them! It's everything Treasure stands for: being young and having fun.

People are still calling Treasure 'a young group', eventhough they have been in the industry for 2 years and are no longer rookies. They are not even younger then other groups who debuted that same year, but they seem like it because they are allowed to act/look their age. Other groups mostly go for a serious and mature concept so having Treasure release 'Hello' feels like a breath of fresh air.

It's a song meant for festivals and concerts! The choreo is fun to watch and I can't wait to see them perform it for their Seoul concert + Japan concert tour + MAMA performance 💙

VolKno: It's a rock song with rap and about rap which is cool. the instrumental sounds like it could be from Linkin Park.

It's probably my least favorite song on the album but that's only because the other songs are just so good. the reason is that they went with a classic kpop song structure for a rapsong which is just weird to me. They did verse-prechorus-chorus-verse-prechorus-chorus-bridge-outro while most k-rapsongs i've listened to are verse-chorus-verse-chorus-verse-bridge-chorus

This would bave allowed Yoshi to have an entire verse to himself instead of getting the prechorus. He had to keep to the beats and couldn't rap in his flow. and that's too bad because out of HyunHaYo, I love Yoshi's flow the most.

I also want to apologize to Yoshi. Reading the translation of his verses, I was really dissipointed because they didn't seem that good/interesting? But then I saw ItsANDYandJAS's analysis video on youtube and I realise how wrong i've been lol

translated the lyrics of his first verse are:

"Bang Bang, appearing like a lightning

Handle every single dirty rats

Flip the stage proudly, i'm a star

Our company is hip and turn silent"

I took his lyrics at face value while obviously i shouldn't have smh.

I was thinking, why use rats in your lyrics?, and i'm not going to pretend to know Yoshi, but that doesn't sound like him at all. Now I realise it's a play on words with the next part of the verse. (flip the stage/flip the word ---> rats becomes star ughhhh i did not see that)

"Our company is hip and turn silent" is a play on words in Korean as well + he delibirately accentuates certain words so it basically becomes: "Our company = hiphop." It's what the whole song is about -> the influence their seniors had on the K-hiphop scene.

Really looking forward to the MV! the teaser images make it seem like it's western inspired. In the bridge there is that 'hands up' moment, it would be cool to see that in the MV.

CLAP!: What a song! Again so much fun + they added a singalong ending. This will be so much fun on stage. Asahi really outdid himself on this album. Yoshi's rapverse really stands out to me here. The next Darari. Now Yedam and Asahi should release that christmas song they teased last year lol. My favorite bside of the album. (edit: ah now I see why i never posted this 😭 I wrote this right before it was announced Mashidam left the group omg)

Thank You: Another masterpiece by Asahi. A rock song which I totally didn't expect Asahi to do. + now it's a whole song with only his voice . i've been waiting for this moment since his one line in Going Crazy lol. he's going to rock the stage. can you imagine Asahi and Haruto on stage together during their Japan concert tour?? singing this song in Japanese?? my heart srsly this will be amazing. I'm so fucking proud of him. it's the perfect fusion of Kpop and Jpop. I kind of need Asahi to release an album with songs he composed and are sung by the treasure members. as their editor puts it: Give me that guys hard drive. his voice is srsly insane. like the prechorus?? it's so fucking good

Hold it in: (edit: apparently I hadn't written a review for hold it in back then so I'll do it now ^^ It's my absolute favorite slow song from Treasure (it rivals Orange?!) and I hope they never remove it from their setlist! Before the album came out, I remember thinking 'It's the last song on the album and those are usually slow songs, but how it that possible when Hyunsuk wrote it???' The fact Hyunsuk wrote such diverse songs (this and VolKno) on 1 album is just so amazing and I hope the next album will have another song written by Hyunsuk!)

It's an OT10 comeback and while I miss Yedam and Mashiho alot, I also didn't feel sad listening to this album, watching the promotions etc. Treasure really gave it their all so we wouldn't feel Mashidamr's absence and I'm actually so proud of OT10. It's tough on fans but it's even worse for them and they didn't show it at all.

The balcony has been off limits all day. Yedam declared he needed it explicitly to set up something he's been working on. At first it was cute. With the running back and forth with the fretting of making sure he had everything, but after the first hour you got tired of waiting. 

"Yedam! Are you almost done?" 

He shuffles back into the room with a small what looks like a present in his hands. Walking over you he places the present into your lap. 

“I just wanted to make sure everything was perfect. I have a few things I want to say to you, but first I wanted to give you something that I have wanted to give you for a while,” he rambles on, you can tell that he is nervous, but he keeps going on. “Ever since I met you I was completely infatuated. Even the small things about you like how you bite your lip when you're reading or how you hold your play with your thumbs when you're nervous. Everything about you is beautiful.” 

Before he can keep going on you start piecing together the pieces in your mind. Small tears form in your eyes along with the airy breath of his name leaves your lips. 

“I bought this the next day after I met you. I had my mom help me because I just knew I was going to fall in love with you. She kept telling it was too early, but I didn’t think so and I still don’t,” he takes the gift he set in your lap into his hands and places it into yours. “You can open it now.” 

With shaking hands you carefully open the box he places in your lap. Inside sits a little teddy bear with a necklace wrapped around its neck. The necklace is a simple silver chain with a small diamond. 

“It’s beautiful,” you tell him, carefully caressing the jew. 

He chuckles nodding his head, “It reminded me of you. The necklace I mean it’s simple yet holds so much meaning to me and in my life. I hope you love it as much as I love you.” 

Without warning you wrap your arms around his neck yanking him into a hug. Tears flow down your face and some sniffles escape as well. “I love it so much. I love you so much.” 

He wraps his arms around your waist pulling you as close as possible. “I love you too. I still have stuff planned for us though.” 

He pulls back from the hug standing up. Looking down at youhe carefully wipes the tear stains from your face then holds out his palm, “Follow me for the night has just started my love.”

i feel like hyunsuk isn’t really the type to initiate that much skinship. from the videos i watched just looking at interactions, he’s not as clingy to the members as the other boys (but that doesn’t mean he loves them any less! his heart is so full of love for them, we all know that). but! he has the habit of slinging his arm around the members’ shoulders. he’s mostly like this with doyoung. i was just watching a bunch of videos where hyunsuk babies him and it finally clicked in my mind after i struggled to come up with something. you and hyunsuk could just be standing around, waiting for your take out or waiting in line at the grocery or convenience store, and his chest would just be pressed to one of your shoulder blades to let you know he was there for you in case you needed him. his arm may or may not be slung around your shoulders, but he will still dip his head towards your ear to say something to you over the surrounding noise. it’s not exactly whispering sweet nothings, it’s literally just normal conversation that could be said out loud. but there’s something about bringing himself towards your face that makes hyunsuk feel closer to you (metaphorically and literally) and he just likes it. he’ll talk to you with his heart eyes trained on your face or the side of it, and he especially likes the way you tilt your head back at him (eye contact or not) to respond. heart definitely skips at the times you’ll lean your head back against his and if you tilt it enough to lay it on his shoulder (he’ll have his hand on your waist if you do this PLEASE DO).

park jihoon just has this thing about him that no matter how annoying (affectionate) he can be to someone, you can’t help but absolutely love him. jihoon is just so teasing by nature and i think it’s cute that he’s some sort of a special type of tsundere. he’s the type to give you tough love all the time and will take the time to scold you when you’re talking bad about yourself because he loves you so much and doesn’t want to hear this stuff about you. he wants you to know how loved you deserve to feel and is ready to give you that love. he gives me a lot of best friend to lover vibes because you’ll be joking around with him, he’ll refuse to play along, but then he’ll laugh and just wrap you into his arms when a pout forms on your lips. jihoon thinks the way you react is just cute - that annoying little shit (again, affectionate). the type of guy who you would have a “i swear we’re just friends” phase with but then literally be laying your head on him whenever you’re together or literally linking arms with him all the time. he does this a lot to hyunsuk but he’ll just shake his shoulders like he’s doing aegyo so that they hit you while you’re doing something so that you get annoyed, and then ultimately just pulls you toward him to stuff his face in your neck and just hug you so tightly that you have no choice but to let it happen.

i just found the most heartwarming youtube short of the junkyu day vlive and got inspired, so junkyu’s might be pretty long compared to the other members. basically, hyunsuk had been late for his class so he like was rushing out and then everyone started pretending to rush out too but junkyu was literally grabbing onto every single other member in the room bc he didn’t want them to leave and it was so so so precious. i think he would definitely be like this to his s/o because as much as the members portray him as a homebody and someone who likes his alone time, i think he does like to be accompanied by someone in particular - you. there’ll be times where you’re just getting up and you’ll find his hand on your shoulder, wrist, waist - whatever - and he doesn’t let you go until you finally let him know that you’re just getting water or going to the bathroom. he just needs to know where you’ll be because somewhere deep down, just knowing where you are makes him feel like he’s not alone, even if you’re in a complete other room. in the times that you have to go home early or you can’t stay at the dorms for the night because you have work or class the next day, junkyu will be clinging onto you all the way to your car or your front door, slowing you down so you can spend extra time with him. he’ll have his arms wrapped around you so that your own are locked to your sides, and he’s just looking at you with hearts in his eyes. presses a kiss to your cheek before finally letting you go, but then calls you when you’re finally in separate locations to make sure you’re safe. please protect his soul PLEASE.

there’s that one tiktok of him and junkyu during the mysterious class reaction cam where junkyu’s grabbing his arm and leaning his head on mashi’s shoulder that i probably watched too many times before ending up screen recording it and sending it to every single of of my friends - THAT alone has wormed its way into my brain and i will not forget about that little smug face he had. it was so soft and cute and attractive that i was mashi brain for the next few days because i could not stop thinking about how he would literally have a smirk form on his face whenever his s/o would lean their head on him. it makes him feel wanted - needed - like his s/o could inform him if there was something, absolutely anything and everything that you needed. mashiho view it as his right as your boyfriend to provide to you, and he understands this as his s/o’s way of telling him that they trust him and glad he’s someone they can rely on. his heart will flutter from the moment you gently wrap your hands around his bicep before linking your arms to the moment you drop your head onto his shoulder and trail your fingers down to play with his own. once the initial smugness wears off, he’ll have the most content little precious smile on his face. he’s so happy with you that there’s no use in the members teasing him because he will outright agree with them - yes, he’s definitely in love you, and yes, he would gladly stay in this position for the next 72 hours.

i really struggled with finding an asahi skinship habit and ended up using a completely different love language because asahi isn’t the type to initiate skinship, but he definitely doesn’t reject it. he lets anyone hug him, coddle him, hold his hand, and he’s not opposed to it. he even said himself that he usually waits for other people to approach him. i think it might be that way in the first part of your relationship with him, but i definitely think that it’ll become more and more comfortable for asahi to just wrap his arms around you out of nowhere. granted, he’ll probably opt to interlace your fingers more often (the things i would give to hold his pretty hands). that being said, asahi seems to be the least clingy of all the members. but, i realized that he does tend to initiate skinship when there’s a reason to do it (like doing something for the members), like helping you up, holding your hair back when you’re eating, or brushing an eyelash away from your face. i think that type of skinship would not be rare in your relationship because there’s a purpose for it, and asahi feels the need to do it because he’s your boyfriend. i think also if you two are sitting together, or are just generally near each other and are focused on something else, you both move your hands and they land near each other. asahi would just unknowingly catch them as they brush by his skin and would pull your fingers through his or cradle your hand in his. i feel like his hands are just so delicate and beautiful that just that action will have your heart fluttering. i think one big thing he really likes is when you pull his hand into your lap to play with his fingers!

snuggling / hiding his face in your neck

wow okay when i tell you i’m in love with bang yedam, i mean i am in LOVE with bang yedam. he’s the sweetest, most talented boy (albeit frat-like ngl but we love him anyway). yedam is so clingy and for some reason that was a surprise to me when i first started stanning. he’s got so much love for his members and even though he acts super cool, at the end of the day, he just wants the others to know much he loves and cares for them. if anyone remembers the way he hugged dobby when he found out he was his manito, please cry with me. the way he held onto doyoung’s neck with a smile of realization and then threw himself into his younger friend’s arm and buried his cute face into his neck, please i was crying i want a yedam hug so bad. you know that thing where he just goes up behind a member and puts his hands on the members neck or shoulders before just stuffing his face into their neck? yeah THAT. yedam would do that so so so much with you because 1) he loves you 2) he thinks you smell good 3) he just wants to be close to you at all times every day and 4) he loves you. he will not fail to giggle at the way you squirm, but he can hear the smile in your voice when you tell him that he’s tickling you. yedam only proceeds to press tiny kisses onto your neck, finally letting go when you turn to meet his lips with your own, but that doesn’t mean he’ll keep his hands off you! definitely keeps his hands or arms around you.

running his fingertips on your back or shoulders

although this kid is the king of flirting and cheesy pickup lines, i do believe that he isn’t the biggest on physical touch. not that he hates it of course - him pulling mashi onto the couch to cuddle with him, or his clinginess to junghwan is something that is really heart fluttering. but i think that he does seem to prioritize words of affirmation and acts of service most! he’s always telling the members, especially jeongwoo, how handsome they are (bless his heart, i hope jeongwoo can become more confident about himself bc he’s absolutely beautiful) and making sure the other members are fed before he eats too. but i’ve seen doyoung initiate smaller acts of physical touch with the members (ignoring the way doyoung’s always touching junghwan’s chest lol). i don’t think doyoung has a particular habit regarding physical touch - normally his skinship is ultimately still an act of service like asahi (like when he held jeongwoo’s hand to stop him from biting his fingernails). however, i think that this angel would without a doubt rub your back in a ways of comforting you or just if you’re sitting next to him and the both of you are focused on something else. maybe you’re watching tv or the other members play games, but his hand would just unconsciously move to your back or shoulder to draw little shapes or just rub up and down - like he did to junkyu in that one dad is sleeping video. it’s become so natural between the two of you that sometimes neither of you notice it happening until another members asks if you're feeling okay or if your back hurts or anything. a lot of times you both freeze, doyoung not even realizing what he was doing, and you both give cute little laughs (dobby’s bunny smile PLEASE TT). the members might tease the two of you a little, but they all secretly think the two of you are cute.

his hands always seem to return to your waist

through the past few weeks i’ve come to love treasure, i’ve learned that haruto has a tendency to place his hands on the members waist. when junkyu had accidentally hit him with the jump rope and ran to him for a hug, haruto’s arms hugged junkyu around the waist. when jeongwoo felt bad that he had burned the meat during that one cute treasure map episode, haruto comforted and reassured woo by patting / rubbing his waist. then, very recently, during the be with me couple ending fairy at the trace concert, haruto grabbed dobby by the waist after the lights went out when they were laughing at each other, and i thought that was the cutest thing. there’s no doubt in my mind that he would do that to his s/o. its unintentional, but his hands and arms just seem to return to your waist. he’ll brush past you by moving you to the side with his hands on your waist, and he’ll be the type to give you a lot of back hugs when he thinks no one’s looking. he’s a bit of a shy boy, so he only initiates back hugs when you’re preoccupied with something (exhibit a: that one hello 82 video? i think when he was hugging yedam ; exhibit b: when junkyu got exposed that haruto was his ideal type and haruto wouldn’t let go of him for the rest of the live). maybe the waist thing is because he’s so tall, but either way, haruto will have ways to unknowingly fluster you all the time.

twirling your hair and wiping the skin around your face for any crumbs

please, park jeongwoo has no reason to be so soft and cute around the members. i was having trouble picking just one type of skinship for him because he does the most heart fluttering actions towards the members. the way he just twirls his and the members’ hair out of habit is the cutest thing to me because he’s just a ball of wholesome energy and he just contains it by doing this omg he’s so cute. you and jeongwoo probably had been friends long before you ended up together, but it isn’t until you’re dating that you realize how often he plays with your hair when you’re just sitting together. jeongwoo never fails to gently grab your chin if you ever get remotely close to him (asahi once got close to him to read comments during a vlive and jeongwoo….just gently held his face - please) or tilt your face to face his own before using the tips of his fingers to gently brush away the remaining crumbs of the snack you just shared. the kid just has the softest look on his face when he does it (have i mentioned how pretty his eyelashes are?) and you never fail to blush when you watch him do it. his eyes are completely focused at the task at hand, then suddenly they meet yours, and jeongwoo just gives you the sweetest, close-lipped smile while giving your cheek one last brush with his thumb.

so junghwan, my precious boy. if you think that his hugs would not be warm or cuddly or soft, you are absolutely wrong (let’s ignore the fact that this kid looks older than me and has been hitting the gym - he’s still a baby in my eyes). but the way that he comforted and hugged hyunsuk during trace has been ingrained in my mind. with his arms wrapped around you tightly, head leaning on yours so that your face is literally squished against his neck / chest, you will feel absolutely comforted and protected like no one can hurt you. junghwan seems like he would be such a safe space. his hyungs have said many times before that despite his young age, he is a very mature and reliable boy, so i think that will translate a lot to how he is in a relationship! you are never afraid to go to him with your concerns, worries, or when you’re just tired and need a break because this sweetheart will always be down to listen to you, comfort you, and make you feel better. i think that through the years, i’ve come to know maknaes of kpop groups to be the ones that don’t want to be babied, but i feel like junghwan openly accepts all the love and care that the older members give to him, and there is no doubt in my mind that all the love he receives will be projected out to every single person he loves as well.

Jongwoo was there for you as much as he could be, he knows how hard it can be to be a part of a survival show. He watched every single episode and voted for you, he even tried to subtly tell his fans to vote for you without outright saying it. He was there in person for the final episode, standing in the front row ready to cheer for his girlfriend. You saw him the second you got on stage, the way he smiled and waved made almost all of your nerves wash away. No matter what happened, he would be so proud of you. 

Throughout the final performances, you swore you heard Jongwoo shouting your name in the sea of people, it made you smile even wider. The Best Boyfriend award goes to Yoon Jongwoo. Finally, it was time to announce who made it into the debut line-up. 10 people would be in the group. 7 names had been called. Yours had not been one of them. Jongwoo was nervous. You had been popular, often among the top 10 during the show. But he knew just as well as you: even if you had been number 1 throughout the show, you could still be placed 11 today.

3 more contestants were announced. “The three contestants fighting for the final 2 spots are L/n (Y/n), Kim Yujin, and Lee Yuna. One of these trainees was placed first, one was second, and the third was placed just outside of the debut line-up with the 11th rank, let me announce second place,” Jongwoo held his breath, chanting (Y/n)’s name in his head. “(L/n) (Y/n)!” “YES,” Jongwoo exclaimed loudly, so proud and happy. He knew how much this meant for you. 

After the show was over and you could meet up with Jongwoo, he engulfed you in a tight hug, twirling the two of you around. “Congratulations, babe, I’m so happy for you,” “Thank you, Woo, I can’t believe it! Second place as well, only five votes away from number one,” “You’re always number one for me,” You gave Jongwoo a fake annoyed look at his pick-up line, yet a smile adorned your face, even if the line was corny, Jongwoo truly meant it. “Now that you’re debuting, you better film a dance challenge with me,” “Oh no, I can’t do that. You’re too good at dancing,” “Come on, you’re just as good as me,” You gave Jongwoo a slight push on his shoulder as you shook your head. “Alright, what if I promise to dance badly?” “Deal,” “But it’s gonna cost you a kiss,” You laughed before taking a step closer to him, leaning in, Jongwoo followed suit, and your lips met in a sweet kiss. 

~When you don’t make it~

3 more contestants were announced. “The three contestants fighting for the final 2 spots are L/n (Y/n), Kim Yujin, and Lee Yuna. One of these trainees was placed first, one was second, and the third was placed just outside of the debut line-up with the 11th rank, let me announce second place,” Jongwoo held his breath, chanting (Y/n)’s name in his head. “Kim Yujin!” “Number 1, please, please, (Y/n),” Jongwoo whispered, chanting your name, praying that you were number 1. “And the contestant who placed first, the final member of the group, is…” Jongwoo held his breath, waiting to hear your name. “Lee Yuna!” The MC announced loudly. Jongwoo felt disappointed, not in you but for you. He knew just how hard you had worked, you deserved to be debuting but there wasn’t anything he could do now. 

“And that means, that (L/n) (Y/n), ranked 11, just outside of the debut line-up, could you tell us how you feel?” The MC asked, turning to you. You were crying but still tried to say something. “Well, I am so happy for everyone who made it. Of course, I’m sad that I didn’t make it, but I’ll just have to try harder next time. Thank you to everyone who has supported me during this show, and once again, congratulations to everyone who made it,” Jongwoo felt tears build up in his eyes as you said that you needed to work harder next time, he didn’t agree with that. You had worked so so hard this time, giving more is just not possible. 

After the show was over and the two of you could meet up, Jongwoo quickly embraced you in a tight hug. The second his arms were around you, you began crying again. Jongwoo whispered into your ear how proud he was, how much he loved you, and that it would be okay. He did everything he could to console you. Eventually, your tears stopped and Jongwoo released you from his tight embrace. “You will always be number 1 for me, you know that right, in my heart you’re always the winner,” “I love you, Yoon Jongwoo, my corny boyfriend,” “And I love you, (L/n) (Y/n), my lovely girlfriend,” 

Jay Chang

Jay knows how stressful it can be to be in a survival show. He’s been close to making it, he knows how much it hurts to know that you were so close yet not making it. When you told him you would be competing in a survival show, Jay was happy for you but he also told you that it’s going to be rough and whenever you feel sad, he’s going to be there for you. 

Jay, just like Jongwoo, did everything he could to promote you to his fans, hoping that people would vote for you.

Jay stood in the crowd, cheering for you loudly. He didn’t care about being recognized, all he wanted to do was cheer for his amazing girlfriend who had worked incredibly hard for this. Even going so far as to perform with a sprained ankle, doing stunts and getting hurt. Jay was a bit worried for you, afraid that you would hurt yourself seriously. Everyone in the crowd cheered just as loud as Jay, whenever you came out on stage.

“And the contestant who has received the most votes tonight, the one who takes the number one rank is…” Jay began chanting your name, many others in the crowd following along with him. He saw how tears gathered in your eyes at seeing him there and hearing the crowd chanting your name. “(Y/n)!” The MC announced loudly. Jay jumped up and down in the crowd, cheering loudly. 

“(Y/N)!!!!” Jay ran up to you as soon as he could after the show, engulfing you in a tight hug. Once he released you from his embrace, he took your hands into his jumping up and down. You followed along with him, jumping up and down. “You made it!” “I made it!” “I’m so proud of you my love,” He kissed you on the lips. “Thank you for all your support Jay, I couldn’t have done this without you,” You gave him another kiss on the lips.

“The contestant who was ranked in 13th place, 3 ranks away from the debut group is…” Jay held his breath, chanting in his mind, not (Y/n), not (Y/n), not (Y/n)... “(L/n) (Y/n),” Jay wanted to jump up onto the stage and embrace you, he felt his own tears building up as he saw how sad you looked. “Miss (Y/n), do you want to say something?” “I want to thank everyone who has voted for me and cheered for me, I know this isn’t the end, and I want to wish everyone who makes it, happiness and success,” 

After the show was over, Jay ran backstage, almost fighting security because they didn’t want to let him pass even if he had a backstage pass. The second he found you, his heart broke. You were sitting on the floor, back against a wall, crying, bandage and an ice pack on your ankle. “Baby,” When you heard his voice, you looked up, voice breaking as you said his name, “Jay,” “I’m here, (Y/n), it’s okay, I’m here,” He embraced you into a warm and loving embrace, consoling you for an hour as people rushed around in the room. 

“I feel like such a failure like I let down everyone,” “No, darling, you didn’t let anyone down. I promise you, everyone who has voted for you and cheered for you, they’re are so proud of you, you worked so hard and you proved to everyone that you have more talent than anyone. Look at me, it wasn’t an easy journey to get here, you’ll find your way eventually,” “I love you, Jay, thank you for being here for me,” “I love you too, darling, come on, let’s go home,” 

Oh Seongmin

Seongmin wasn’t too happy when he heard you were competing in a survival show, he knew from experience that it’s hard and it makes you doubt yourself. He didn’t want that for you, he wanted you to be confident and strong. He knows how talented you are, but he knows that sometimes it doesn’t matter how talented you are, because editing, airtime, songs, looks, it all plays a bigger part than talent does for many. However, he voted for you, cheered, and did everything he could to promote you. He loved you after all and would do everything he could to help you. 

On the finale of the show, Seongmin watched from backstage, happy to see that you had made it this far. He was so proud of how hard you had worked. You hadn’t always received the best editing or a lot of airtime, but even so, you were one of the top contestants. 

~ when you make it ~

The MC called four girls to the front, you being one of them. Three of you have made it into the group and one is placed 8th, just outside the debut line-up. After calling two of the other girls for third and second place, you and one other girl were left. One of you placed first and one placed 8th. Seongmin stared at the TV as he stood backstage, his hands clasped together, half praying that the MC would call your name for first place. “And now, the announcement everyone has been waiting for, who is the top-ranked contestant and who, unfortunately, ranked just outside of the debut. First place goes to…” Seongmin wished to hear your name, he waited anxiously as the MC slowly moved his mic back toward his face. “Congratulations… (Y/n)!” 

Seongmin squealed and jumped around as he cheered. You did it! And placing first too! He was so happy for you, everything had been worth it. All your hard work, all the hours spent in the studio, all the time and pain you had put into this, it had all been worth it. When you came backstage Seongmin stood with his arms open wide, a big smile on his face. “SEONGMIN!” “(Y/n)! Congrats! You did it!” “I did it!” You jumped into his arms, crying and laughing at the same time. Overwhelmed with happiness. Seongmin was so happy, he knew how it felt to make it in a survival show, not placing first though. “We have to film challenges together and try to get on the same entertainment shows!” “Don’t you think people would find out that we’re dating then?” “I don’t know, I don’t care either, Min, I just want to do everything with you!” Seongmin leaned in and kissed you on the lips twice and then once on the nose. He gazed into your eyes, happiness, and love swirling around in them. “Congratulations, darling,” 

~ when you don’t make it ~

The MC was calling names left and right, some who made it and some who didn’t. Your name had yet to be called, finally you and two others were called to the front of the stage. The final ranks were to be announced, you could be placed first, second, or last. 7 people could make it into the debut line-up, 7 out of 12 girls/women. “In second place, it’s Lee Yuna!” Seongmin stared at the screen, he felt nervous. He didn’t know what to do, what if you placed last? It would break his heart and yours. 

“First place goes to… Kim Yujin!” “12th place therefore automatically goes to, (L/n) (Y/n),” Seongmin teared up as he saw how you fell to your knees on the stage crying. Feeling like a failure, after placing first or second throughout the show and now placing last. All the bruises and pain hadn’t been enough, you hadn’t been enough. That’s what it felt like. The MC asked if you would like to say a few words but you couldn’t talk. No words would leave your mouth. Some of the other contestants whom you had been close with came up to you and tried to comfort you. 

After the show ended, you managed to drag yourself backstage. Feeling almost apathetic. Numb. It was like you were watching the world from space. Suddenly you felt warmer and safer, it took a while until you noticed that Seongmin was now hugging you as you cried silent tears. “It’s okay, (Y/n), it’s okay, I’m so proud of you,” “Seongmin,” You just managed to whisper his name, he hugged you even tighter, your body shaking as you cried. “It’s not your fault, honey, it’s okay, you were so good, everyone loved you,” Seongmin brought you home, ordering your favorite food and snacks, all to try and make you feel better. He patched up any injuries you had gotten from the last day. It took hours before you felt better, but having him there made it easier. 

Yeom Taegyun / TAG

Tag was ready to support you to a hundred percent in the best way he knew. By helping you with production skills and writing lyrics. Before the show started, he was practicing with you for 7 hours a day. Even bringing you along to dance practices with One Pact, having Jongwoo and Yedam give you tips on more dance styles. Tag supported you how he knew best, by practicing. You appreciated it, and thanks to him, you learned more skills that you could show and use during the show, making you a top contender for first place. Hundreds to thousands of videos of moments from the show went viral, most of them being videos of you. 

You and some others from the survival show were given some benefits after winning a certain round during the show, one of those being to film challenges with already debuted artists such as Stray Kids, Ateez, One Pact, and many more. You and Tag directly offered to film the challenge with one another. Tag knew that his group wasn’t the most popular one, but he still wanted to do what he could to help you out. The video ended up going a bit viral because people loved the synergy Tag and you seemed to have, commenting how perfect you would look as a couple, to which you both laughed if only they knew. 

~ When you make it ~

Tag ended up going to the show along with One Pact, they were invited after doing the challenges with some of the contestants. Tag and the rest of the boys were all excited to be there for you in person, they were all cheering for you, though Tag was cheering the most, albeit quietly. The final performances were amazing. No one knew who would make it and who wouldn’t, everyone seemed to be about equal in talent, it was anyone’s game. 

The One Pact members had been given a special mission as they attended the show, they would each get to announce one contestant who made it into the group. The five boys all randomly took five of the eight envelopes that held the names of the debut line-up. “And in fourth place,” Tag was the final one to open his envelope, the name inside was the name of the person placing 4th, he slowly opened the envelope, hoping to see your name. He knew it had to be yours, it was fate, he felt pulled toward this envelope, it had to be yours. Tag couldn’t hold back his smile as he found the familiar name written on the paper. “(Y/n)!” 

Once the show was over, Tag came up behind you, scaring you a bit as you hadn’t noticed him. “Congratulations,” “Oh my, Taegyun! You scared me! But thank you! It’s all thanks to you!” “You did it all on your own, how could people resist falling in love with you? It’s impossible to not fall for your charms,” You kissed him on the cheek, still feeling like your success was thanks to him. 

~ When you don’t make it ~ 

Two weeks before the finale, you sustained an injury while practicing for the finale performances. The injury was so bad that you had to drop out of the show, you had to be treated in a hospital for 2 days before you could go home. Tag stayed with you in the hospital for those 2 days, never leaving your side. He knew you would feel better if he was there. For those two days, it was like you hadn’t realized that you couldn’t return to the show, it would take weeks before you could dance again after this injury. 

“Taggy, do you have my phone, I need to talk with my manager,” Tag looked at you, his eyes giving away that he knew something you didn’t. “Um, don’t you think you should wait another day or two before you think about work. Besides we should be getting ready to go home now,” “Taegyun, what’s up?” Tag sighed, he couldn’t keep this from you. He held your hand as he looked at you with sad eyes. “Your manager called to tell us two things, 1 you’re of the show because you can’t dance now, and 2 she quits as your manager,” Tag left out the reasons for it, you aren’t worth it this is such a stupid injury, shouldn’t have happened. Something along those lines were what she said. 

“What? She quit?” “Yeah, but honey, you’ve told be that she’s been turbulent, unreliable. This only proved it,” Even if you knew that what Tag said was true, it still hurt knowing that you’d basically been abonded for something that wasn’t your fault. “I wanna go home,” “Let’s go home,” Tag helped you out to the car that his company sent, and he would be taking you to his apartment because your company isn’t doing anything for you. Tag began thinking of what he could do for you, he can’t heal your leg with a snap of his fingers, but he might be able to help you out with the company and manager problem. 

The following day, Tag woke you up by singing a song you didn’t recognize, his voice was smooth and soft, he sounded like an angel. Eventually as you woke up and became more aware, you began hearing what he was singing. It was a song he wrote for your one year anniversary. Hearing him singing that song again, brought you a lot of comfort. “Good morning, baby,” “Good morning, Taggy,” “Here, take some pain killers. What do you want for breakfast?” After saying what you wanted, Tag made sure to fix it for you. He sat with you in his bedroom eating when his phone dinged, he looked at it and smiled. “I’m gonna have to go to the company building for a little bit, I have a meeting I have to attend, Jongwoo-hyung and Seongmin-hyung are gonna be home though, so if you need anything just call for one of them,” He gave you a kiss on the lips before he slipped away. 

Tag came back 3 hours later, he looked exhausted but happy. He carefully layed down on the bed beside you. “How did your meeting go?” “At first, very badly but eventually it went well,” “What was it about?” “A lot of things, but mostly this one artist I wanted to produce some songs for,” You perked up at that, never having heard Tag show interest in another artist than himself, his group, or you. “Who?” “You,” “What?” “I tried to persuade Armada ent, to sign you to the company, so that you can debut and at least receive some support from your company, they didn’t agree to it until I said that I’d help produce songs for you, and that I would quit if they didn’t” “TAG, you can’t say you’ll quit for me,” “Eh, it worked” “Thank you, Taegyun, you’re my saviour,” 

Lee Yedam

Yedam would be your own personal cheerleader and dance teacher. He would have you show him every dance you had to learn, he’d learn it himself and help you out. He’d help other’s on your team if he so had to, but he’d mostly focus on you of course. He was voting like crazy, calling every single person that he knows asking them to vote for you. Accidentally watching your performance on a live and saying “Woah, this girl is so good, the one doing this part,” Resulting in his fans going to vote for you too. He was there watching every single performance, so what if he was recognized by anyone? He needed to support his amazing, talented, beautiful, caring, wonderful girlfriend.  

Of course Yedam was there for the finale, he was standing front row, barricade, he had waited in line for 12 hours, some people recognizing him and letting him go before them. He thanked them deeply. Some asked him if he was there for a special reason, he simply said that he wanted to support a friend. He was happy to hear that so many people were talking about how good you were and how they would definitely vote for you. 

He already knew the finale songs and performances, he had helped you prepare for them. You had even gotten the killing part and main dancer part, despite your original position being a vocalist. Thanks to Yedam you had really stepped up and become a better dancer, good enough to be the main dancer. While also still serving amazing vocals of course. The crowd was going crazy for you, screaming so loud that Yedam thought he’d go deaf, but he was screaming just as loud as everyone else. When you saw him in the crowd, you couldn’t help but wave to him, though most fans in the crowd thought it was to them. Yedam kept sending you hearts throughout the finale, you always smiled whenever he did, sometimes sending him a wink or blowing a kiss to him while you performed. 

~ When you make it ~

And now, it was time for the results. Yedam was nervous, while you had made it this far, you had always been wavering between the two lowest ranks for the debut line-up and just below it. Debut wasn’t a given for anyone. He was praying that you would make it. “Contestants who have the chance of ranking 6, 7, and 8 are (Y/n), Yuna, Yujin, and Haewon, please step forward,” Hearing your name made him happy but he was still worried, three out of four would make it, you could still be the one who ranks just outside of the debut line-up. “In eight place, Haewon!” The MC began announcing the ranks. “In seventh place, Yuna!” “And now, in sixth place, it’s either (Y/n) or Yujin…” “Congratulations…” Yedam was ready to climb on stage and rip the envelope out of the MC’s hands just to find out but they were dragging it out. “(Y/N)!” “YES!” Yedam exclaimed loudly as the whole crowd broke out into loud cheers, some people beside Yedam even grabbed his hands and jumped up and down with him, saying congratulations. 

Yedam looked up at you, giving you a bright smile and a thumbs up. He even looked happier than you did at the moment. You had tears in your eyes and a smile on your face. “Would you like to say a few words, (Y/n)?” The MC asked, handing you a mic, you took it and gave the MC a little nod. “I want to thank everyone who has voted and cheered for me during the show. I’m so happy to have made it! I also especially want to thank my best friend for being there for me and helping me during the difficult times! Please look forward to seeing me on stage!” Yedam almost began crying, he knew you couldn’t say that you wanted to thank your boyfriend but you calling him your best friend almost meant more. You both had a special bond, it was both love and a deep friendship. 

“Congratulations!” He yelled as soon as he could meet you. “Thank you for everything Yedam, I wouldn’t have made it without you,” “Of course you would have! You’re amazing!” “But you helped me become a better dancer!” “I didn’t do much, now what did you think of the group name?” The conversation about how you felt over the group members and everything continued the whole night. 

~ When you don’t make it ~

Your stage presence was the best it had ever been. Much thanks to your boyfriend standing in the front row cheering for you. Yedam was really hoping that people would vote for you. The crowd was loud and cheerful. Yedam worried a bit about how loud the cheers were for some of the other contestants compared to you, some were louder and some were quieter. When the time for announcements came, Yedam was about to start biting on his nails to release some nerves. 

“In 13th place, 5 ranks away from the debut group, we find…” The MC slowly opened the envelope, looking at it, he made a shocked face. Yedam had a bad feeling. Please don’t let it be her. Please anyone but (Y/n). “(Y/n)” The crowd broke out into gasps and sad exclaimations. Yedam tried to stay strong as he saw you look at him, silent tears running down your face. You worked so hard, you made so many improvements during the show, and still didn’t make it. The MC asked you to say a few words, Yedam couldn’t bear to hear you so sad, he began crying along with a lot of others in the crowd. “I, uh, wanna say thank you to everyone who voted for me. And I promise to work hard and come back on stage soon, so please,” You had to take a break and try to breath, your own tears feeling like they suffocated you. “Please, wait for me,” You then left the stage, leaving a lot of confidence behind, you really thought you would make it. Yedam quickly began moving to get to you, he was crying and he knew you would be feeling even worse. 

“(Y/n)” “Yedam-ah,” Your voice broke as you said his name. He tried to give you a smile, hoping you would feel a little better if he did. “Hey, why are you crying? You were amazing out there, didn’t you hear all the cheers people gave you? You’re going to go down in history as one of the greatest contestants ever,” “I tried so hard, and I really wanted to make it,” “I know, but it isn’t over yet. Your company is going to see just how popular and talented you are, they’re going to try to debut you tomorrow if they could after this!” “You think so?” “Of course! Look at me, I placed 36th on boys planet, and yet I have debuted, Jongwoo-hyung placed 18th, and he’s debuted. It’s not over just yet, so try to stay strong,” Yedam kissed you on the lips once and then once on your forehead. “I promise that you’ll make it one day, and then, you will be unstoppable,” “You’ll be unstoppable too, you and One Pact” “We’ll do it together!” You finally smiled, tears still filling your eyes but you felt a bit better, knowing your personal cheerleader still believed in you even when you didn’t believe in yourself.

“the way you were f… f…” your mouth was stuck on the letter, wanting to say flirting yet knowing that they were just being friendly, “fraternising with you know who all through the day,” you spluttered out.

he clambered onto the bed, his hand caressing your thigh and he came to a stop, kneeling beside you.

you both waved them off before you started to complain. “what the fuck, why did you even invite them this was supposed to be our date, which you organised might i add, can’t you see they’re obviously in love with you? i wanna go home, jihoon, i’ve already had enough of them.”

“y/n, they’re one of my oldest friends, they were never like this when i knew them, you think i’d be friends with someone like them?” he defended. you knew he wouldn’t associate with such a character, but you still couldn’t help but feel a little jealous.

you both eyed them as they returned to your table, bringing a wave of freshly perfume with them.

“i’m not talking to you whilst you’re being like this,” he acted as though he was searching through the range of movies, stretching out the arm that the other person was sleeping on, which forced them to turn over, “alright?”

once it’s been a few hours—even a whole day—you should approach him and start from the start

upset or not, yoshi’s never been one to hide his feelings from you, so he’d be honest about it and tell you the whole story

it wasn’t hard to spot the problem so you’d have to talk to him about validating his own emotions before listening to someone else

it was quite a serious topic but once he got your point, things went back to normal pretty quickly

long story short, yoshi and jealousy aren’t a good mix, so you should be happy he’s the chill type

i wouldn’t say junkyu is necessarily a jealous person

he pretty much lives in his own world most of the time so i really don’t think he’s paying close attention to what your interactions with his members look like

but i do think he’s prone to feeling left out 

so, teume all know junkyu was able to overcome numerous confidence issues through inner work and training right

and GOOD!! FOR!! HIM!!!

but especially if you don’t have a lot of common interests, junkyu can feel a bit… inadequate for you, at times

for example, say you’re a very outdoorsy person who likes exercising, camping, the works

just last week you found a new hiking trail that’s said to lead to a super nice view so you wanna go there

it’s just not his thing; he’s a homebody, he doesn’t like being outside that much, he’d rather nap but if you wanna go :( and he feels like he HAS to go too
