My 2022 Year In Sports from Strava I decreased my running this past year and increased my Peloton bike activity to stay more active no matter what the weather was like. However, 2022 brought it challenges to stay active while dealing with surgery. Primary exercise goal for 2023 will be to rehab my shoulder back to 100%. So less running and probably no triathlons. 2022 ended with 364 active days. I fell one day short of the goal! 365 will be the goal for 2023! We were very very excited when Stink Studios brought us in to this year's #yearinsport project for Strava. We created 20 code-driven, customizable scenes designed to be remixed to best express a specific Strava user's data in a 75 second year-end film. So far over 2 million unique films have been created.

My Strava Year in Sport 💪

Rundown on @strava totals for my #yearinsport. No PRs, this year, it was very much a transitional year. But I had some decent races along the way that provide encouragement for next year. This was one of my lowest total running mileage years as I pivoted away from #marathontraining to shorter distances. In place of those missing miles, I upped my #cycling, started #swimming and #poolrunning again, and picked up #indoorrowing. I also rededicated myself to #strengthtraining and need to continue with that. The 2019 total shown omits some “miles” that were logged on the spin bike or in the pool while #aquajogging. Can’t capture everything I guess. In any case, my days of running 1800-2000 miles a year are in the past for sure, but I see no reason why I can’t log a combined #2020in2020. Gotta have #fitnessgoals and #racinggoals.
